(A/N: If you have clicked the double arrow to the latest chapter, then it probably means that you have not read "The light that alters the Future and Beyond" chapter. This is a double upload chapter with this chapter being part 2 of this fic's ending 3. So go to the previous chapter if you have not read it. Otherwise, enjoy~)

Epilogue: The time to move on
Presitquite: Unlock and read "The light that alters the Future and Beyond"
Requirements: Potential at least 13 (A/N: As of current version 3.8.2 from the game, it is impossible to reach a potential of 13. But with the addition of Universe Difficulty in this fic, it's definitely possible to get there.)

(A/N: Continues from "The light that alters the Future and Beyond" Chapter. At some point after the previous chapter, Hikari has returned into her Fracture form)

A month later…

The world has finally been reborn, awoke anew. Arcaea will never have its own time alternating between cursed fates. Arcaea shall never be ruled by anyone for The Beyond has been long destroyed. But there is a problem. Not everyone is back. There is someone who has not come back.

The one who initiated this entire journey to alter fate.
The one who made the girls remember who they are
And more importantly, the one who stopped the girls from destroying each other

It's him isn't it?
Alexandar.

Is it impossible to revive him? Is it because he was merely a fake? The girl in black asked herself.

He who was part of this world before, now not even showing signs of life. Was he rather a part of these recurring 'timelines' that was undone?

His wish was to simply be capable of protecting those he cares about. Had he not inherited the real Alexandar's personality and identity, he wouldn't have done that. He would have just done what it took to protect this world.

"Maybe it's time to move on…" A voice spoke itself.

Tairitsu looked back. So it was him. Another imposter, just like Alexandar.

"I told you to leave me alone, we are no longer siblings. Even in this world, we can never reconcile."

"I know, I am aware, you are Tairitsu, no longer Sophia from your previous life. But do tell me, if 'Alexandar' comes back, what do you intend to do? Confess to him? Or take him away from your friend?"

"..."

"Even if he comes back, he can't linger in this world for long, like me… After all, we are merely a fragment of your memories of us… like shards. So unless our real selves came to this world, it is impossible to coexist with you."

"Then what do you want me to do? I cannot let him go… and even though I hate you… I cannot help but to not forget you…"

"Live your life as Tairitsu. Your life as Sophia is long over. That time when you accidently killed Hikari, she has decided to forgive and forget that terrible accident. She settled that with you a month ago…"

"That time… when we fought for the fate of this world… she won… but she chose to give up the chance of revenge against me… why?"

"It's simple, she has decided to move on with her life as Hikari in this world, not as Hikari from that time and certainly not as Pandora. So you should do the same, do not let the past haunt you. Give yourself a second chance that this world meant for you, the life that you and Hikari have fought for."

"I still hate you, Tenniel. But you are right. I should move on, I will not let my past life affect the present and future that this life offers me. But I will not forget the people that mattered to me, even if they have passed on. Alexandar from back then and the Alexandar in this world, I will never forget what they have done for me… or for us…"

"At least… that is good enough…" 'Tenniel' closed his eyes. At least his words have gotten through this stubborn girl. He then vanished into thin air.

"Tairitsu! Come here I found something very nice!" The girl in white 's voice could be heard from afar.

When Tairitsu approached her, she saw multiple colours of sunflowers being surrounded in an open grassland. It was such a beautiful sight to behold.

"Where did you find it?" Tairitsu asked Hikari.

"Ermm..." The girl in white hesitated to answer

"... You made it didn't you?"

"I guess you caught me." Hikari laughed as she looked away.

"Anyway, those flowers are quite nice. I assume you used these shards to make them?"

"Yes and no… I turned every single of my power of anomaly into shards and used them to make these flowers. I don't want to rule this world… This world shall be a paradise where we are finally at peace…"

"In that case… then I shall throw that power away… let there be only peace. If no one is to control this world, then perhaps this is the hope we were looking for, the world that is finally made for. Truly a heaven…"

Tairitsu used the entirety of her anomaly powers to create animals.

"They may have been born from shards, but they are not shards themselves. They have their own lives to carry out…" Tairitsu remarked.

Then a portal formed itself.

"What is that?" Hikari asked.

"I have no idea. It seems to lead us to somewhere we have not known..."

"Let's find out! Perhaps we can meet new people who stayed in this world!" Hikari pulled Tairitsu as she entered the portal. The portal then disappeared.

The sky then turned into nighttime. From nowhere, a black haired boy entered the grasslands, knowing that these girls had left. He then smiled, having finally witnessed the world finally beginning to move on as he witnessed shooting stars from the sky.

The end
Reward: You can now replay anomalies provided that you have met their requirements.
If both Requirement and Alternate Requirement are met:
Yami Asahi (Conflict Sided, Challenge type) [Skill: HARD: If you miss, Recollection Rate gain will be disabled for 5-10 seconds.] [Awakened: The skill is dependent on the song type. Light: All notes will be hidden. Conflict: HARD: You will start with a song with a RR gauge based on your PTT. (The higher your PTT, the lower your RR gauge). You will not start with RR gauge with 100 or 0.]

A/N: And with this, we have come to the end of this fic! As mentioned earlier, this chapter continues from the previous chapter, making it the true ending of this fic.

That portal was made by Alexandar to make Hikari, Tairitsu and Alice meet each other. Yes, eventually they met each other and then they explored different places. This is how B-2 and this chapter is related to each other.

The boy who made an appearance in the last paragraph is not Alexandar/Tenniel. He just serves as a cameo to another Arcaea fanfic if I decided to write another one.

The idea of this chapter's reward is pretty simple, some players like me want to replay anomalies after unlocking but unfortunately, you can't unless you reinstall the app (I'm not even sure if that works). So a replayable anomaly is nice.

Thanks for reading Alternated Fate!

EDIT (3/9/2021): The idea of this chapter is not just to end this fic. The idea of this chapter is to have the girls let go of their grudge in their previous lives. I wish I should have let them settle that in A-17 by not only letting that fight determine their fates but to also let everything out and not just by recalling their entire journey mentioned. This chapter's title should emphasise that. Also, initially, I did not plan to have this play out as a duo chapter. "The light that alters the Future and Beyond" was supposed to be this fic's final chapter but I honestly forgot why I had that being on duo chapter.

Now, I have no plans to write another fic. If I decided to write another Arcaea fic, I'll try to understand the canon's story line more first. Afterwards, I may or may not put in a bit of Alternated Fate references. This fic is only available in this site. I am aware that the Arcaea fanfics usually go to AO3 or Wattpad. Will this fic go to any of those sites? Maybe not. But if I do decide to write another Arcaea fic, then this will definitely go to AO3 along with the new fic (and this site will get the new fic too).
