It was the second month, Mei was thinking about what Tyler and her mom were talking about the month prior...a wedding. Surely had you gone back to 2002 and told Mei that she would not only be bearing Tyler's kid but at the same time the possibility of marriage? That'd be enough to make her barf.

"A wedding...I cannot believe it" said Tyler.

"You think I can? The worst part is college starts back up in a few weeks and now I've got this over my head" replied Mei.

"Yeah well about college...I'm dropping out" said Tyler feeling ashamed.

This caught Mei off guard.

"What?! Why?!" exclaimed Mei.

"Well...to support you" replied Tyler.

This made Mei feel pretty bad, I mean the fact that she was already two months into this and now Tyler dropping out of school to help support her. Sure she was happy that Tyler was there for her and thinking of her but still, the fact he gave up his future.

"I feel so terrible," said Mei pushing her face in her hands.

"Don't sweat it, I'm in this as much as you are...okay well I'm not the one carrying it or giving birth" chuckled Tyler.

"Yeah, you just got to enjoy the easy part" chuckled Mei giving Tyler a shot to the arm.

"More like the fun part" laughed Tyler.

Mei chuckled and rolled her eyes giving him another playful shot to his arm.

A few weeks had passed and college was back in session, Mei was walking through the hallways to her first class. The only saving grace she had in college was she and Priya attended the same school so she at least had her one friend.

"Hey Priya," said Mei.

"Hey girlfriend...hey future friend," said Priya looking at Mei's belly, it was protruding just a little bit but not fully out.

"I'm sure my baby can't wait to meet you" chuckled Mei.

"What's your first class?" asked Priya.

"I've got a free period right now so I'm gonna go take a nice relaxing read in the library," said Mei.

"Alright, I've got English 3 so I'll see you later," said Priya slapping hands with Mei.

"See ya Priya" smiled Mei.

On the other side of town, Tyler was looking at himself in the mirror. He was getting ready for a job interview. He had on a button-down shirt and slacks and some dress shoes, his parents weren't too big on him having to drop out of school but it was the hand that was dealt with him.

"Alright, well...let's do this" Tyler said taking a breath and looking at himself in the mirror.

Tyler was getting ready to set out on a job interview, it was a sporting goods store that wasn't all that glamourous but anything to help Mei with whatever she had to do.

Tyler left his house and walked to the tram that was going to take him to the store, Tyler felt he would be a great fit since he had vast sporting knowledge and could be a great asset to the team. It was about a fifteen-minute journey and before Tyler knew it he was at Omega Sporting Goods, it was a fairly big sporting goods store. He walked in holding his resume in his hand and was looking around, he saw the associates all wearing jerseys of their favorite players from their favorite respective teams helping customers and while walking near the hockey section he saw a familiar face...it was Brendan donning his Montreal Canadiens jersey.

Tyler approached him.

"What are you doing here?" asked Tyler.

Brendan turned around and noticed Tyler.

"I could ask you the same thing man" chuckled Brendan giving Tyler a fist bump.

"I'm here on an interview but don't you have class?" asked Tyler confused.

"Oh sweet, I heard there was an interview today but now I'm psyched it's you and yeah I did but I decided to take online classes because well I need money and college ain't cheap" chuckled Brendan.

"Tell me about it" replied Tyler.

"Well anyway let me get the manager...I can schmooze him over so he'll hire you" smiled Brendan patting Tyler on the shoulder.

"Appreciate it so much man" replied Tyler.

In the library Mei was sitting down reading a book, she was catching up on some leisurely reading when she felt her stomach feel like it was churning but she didn't feel the need to hurl.

"Oh no, what's going on?" she muttered to herself but she felt like she could power through it.

"Maybe some fresh air" Mei thought to herself booking out of the library at full speed.

When Mei stepped outside the cool air hit her face, she took a huge breath of fresh air and sat down on a bench, but she felt something...not only her stomach-churning but a wave of emotions coming through. Soon she felt angry.

"Stupid Tyler! Stupid Brendan! If it weren't for those two idiots I would never be in this predicament!" she exclaimed.

But then her mood started to change,

"But if I didn't go I never would've seen 4*Town" she sobbed.

Mei continued to sob and she pulled out her phone, she figured she would call her mother since she was the expert on all of this.

Ming who was at home doing a little routine cleaning saw her cellphone ringing.

"Hello Mei-Mei, what's up?" asked Ming sweetly.

"Mommy! I'm getting fat! I look so ugly! IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF THOSE TWO IDIOTS!" Mei first sobbed and then yelled angrily.

Ming knew right away what was going on.

"Mei-Mei, those are your hormones talking right now...just take a deep breath, you'll be experiencing these but mommy is here for you," said Ming over the phone trying to guide her with her expertise.

"I swear I wanna kill them both!" exclaimed Mei.

"Mei-Mei, listen to mommy...take a deep breath and close your eyes," said Ming calmly.

But Mei was too far gone, her emotions were way out of whack. She was feeling a rush of so many emotions at once and then her emotions peaked and then...

*POOF!*

Mei panda'd.

Instead of handling it normally as she would have this time she panicked, Ming heard the poof and her screaming over the phone. Onlookers at her campus stopped what they were doing and recorded her. Mei sobbing in panda form, grabbed her cellphone and backpack and booked it to the temple, she couldn't care less about her schoolwork, she just wanted her mom. Mei ran with a mixture of crying and anger to the temple and when she got there she saw her mother and father standing outside the temple doors trying to calm her.

"Mei-Mei dear...please breathe," said Ming in a calming tone of voice.

"Yes Mei-Mei...please take it easy," said Jin in an equally calming tone.

Mei still in panda form with tears of rage rolling down her cheeks closed her eyes and began to make her best attempt to calm herself down. She soon thought of her friends telling her how much they loved her and how strong she was. Soon Mei was able to return to her human form...but something still didn't seem right. Mei felt dizzy, she was breathing rapidly like her heart felt like it was beating through her chest.

"Mei-Mei do you need to go to the hospital?" asked Ming.

Mei still breathing rapidly looked at her mother and soon passed out on the ground.

"JIN GET HER IN THE CAR!" exclaimed Ming.

Meanwhile, at Omega, Tyler seemed to be acing his interview and with Brendan's good words it looked like he was a shoo-in for the job.

"Well Mr. Nguyen-Baker, seeing as how you have praise from one of our associates and you have an expertise in basketball knowledge, although your knowledge of other sports as well I don't see why I shouldn't-" soon the interviewer was interrupted by the sound of a ringing cellphone, which belonged to Tyler.

Tyler looked confused at the number, he let it go to voicemail.

"Sorry, probably some wrong number" replied Tyler.

Tyler picked his phone up and went to put the volume on mute when all of a sudden a text message popped up.

TYLER! IT'S MEI'S MOTHER! GET TO TORONTO GENERAL HOSPITAL ASAP! MEI PASSED OUT!

Tyler's eyes went wide and his jaw hit the floor.

"Uhmmmm...something the matter son?" asked the manager.

"I-I-I'm so sorry! My girlfriend is in the hospital I need to see her!" exclaimed Tyler panicked.

"Oh please, we can do this another day, go tend to her," said the manager.

Tyler ran out of the office and Brendan who was in the hockey section of the store noticed him.

"What's the matter?" asked Brendan.

"Mei! She's in the hospital!" panicked Tyler.

"Which one? Toronto General? I can drive you I'm about to take my break anyways!" exclaimed Brendan.

"Thanks, man!" exclaimed Tyler running to Brendan's car.

Brendan had clocked out first and ran to his car, he saw Tyler standing by the door shaking nervously. Brendan got in and Tyler got in the passenger side, Brendan turned the key in the ignition and slammed the gas pedal not even caring if he'd get a ticket. It was a quick drive to the hospital and Brendan soon pulled up to the front.

"Keep me posted man! I won't go up, God knows what else she'll blame me for!" said Brendan fairly panicked.

"Will do!" exclaimed Tyler.

Tyler ran up to the front desk receptionist.

"Mei...Mei...Meilin...Lee" said Tyler out of breath.

The receptionist looked at her computer.

"She's in room 827, may I see your ID and why you're visiting today?" asked the receptionist.

Tyler a little irked by this pulled his ID out of his pocket and slammed it on the table.

"She's my girlfriend and she's pregnant!" exclaimed Tyler.

"No need to yell" replied the receptionist.

"Sorry" replied Tyler.

The receptionist wrote him a visitor pass and gave Tyler back his ID and headed to the room where Mei was sitting on a bed, she was conscious but looked worried, also there sat Ming and Lee, and Tyler's mom, Tyler looked confused as to why his mom was there.

"Mom, what're you doing here?" asked Tyler.

"Well Ming gave me her number while we were having wine together that one time and she called me, I worry about my grandchild you know" replied his mother looking fairly worried.

Tyler ran up to Mei.

"Mei...how are you feeling?" asked Tyler practically crying.

"Uhhhh...my stomach" groaned Mei.

Soon her doctor walked in holding her chart.

"Alright Hello everyone, I'm Dr. Shanahan, so what seems to be the issue?" asked the doctor.

"My baby..." muttered Mei.

"Alrighty well, we can take a look," said the doctor.

He soon went to get the gel and his ultrasound equipment, he applied it to Mei's stomach and pressed the device to her stomach, he began to look around.

"Where are you hiding little one?" asked the doctor.

He began moving the device around Mei's stomach, he wasn't seeing anything.

"Ming...you never panda'd during your pregnancy with Mei" whispered Jin.

"I know...I wish I could help her" Ming softly sobbed.

"Come on little one, where are you?" asked the doc looking at the screen.

Everyone soon feared the worst.
