PrologueScreaming could be heard from the St. Mungo's Maternity ward. Narcissa Malfoy was giving birth for the first time and she hated it. Between Lucius muttering like an idiot and contractions, it was enough to drive anyone insane.
"Good job Narcissa. You just gave birth to a rambunctious little boy." Just as she relaxed as scream pasted her lips once more. The pain was unbearable, and the medi-witch looked terrified.
"Alright Narcissa, we need you to push again. If you do this, then it will be over with. Okay?" Narcissa quickly said yes and pushed with all her strength. Finally the pain stopped, she was able to relax. As she drifted in and out of sleep, she heard a voice.
"Congratulations Mr. Malfoy. You are now the parent of twins, a little boy and a little girl." As Lucius looked down at his children he realized his son was born before sunset and his daughter afterwards.
"Darling?" Lucius turned to his wife.
"Are you ready to name them 'Cissa?"
"Yes. How about Draconis Lucius and Adriana Narcissa Malfoy?"
"Hm. I like it, but what about Draconis Aiden and Adriana Devona Malfoy?"
"Perfect."
"I'll get the medi-witch to add them to their birth certificates. I'll be back."
"Alright. Lucius, can you hand me the children please?"
"Yes, dear. Here." Narcissa's face lit up when she saw her children. Both of them were looking at her with big steely blue eyes. She studied Draconis first. His hair so blonde that it was almost white. He seemed at peace with the world. Adriana was the opposite. She was a good baby, but always restless as if she knew what others didn't. Her hair was white around her face but dark brown everywhere else.
"Everything is taken care of. We can take the children home in a few minutes. Are you okay? You look like you just saw a ghost."
"No, I'm find, just thinking. Let's just go home Lucius."
"Alright."
"Mr. And Mrs. Malfoy, you can go home now."
"Thank Merlin."
Little did the new parents know a prophecy was found that would change the rest of their lives. It went a little like this:
A child born with a twin,
One in day and one in night.
She shall have steely gray eyes that can peer through anyone.
Her brother's shall be the same, yet different.
She shall escape to the past to the future,
While he works in the present to protect the one's they love.
When they work together,
They can save humanity.
Just remember the past always comes back to help you.
