Dragon Warriors

in A Bad Day for a Warrior

It is now spring in East Liverpool, which means a new semester at Kent State University and Connor is late for class.

"Come on Shade! Hurry!" Connor said frantically. Once they finally made it to the campus, he got off of Shade, only to slip on a bottle which causes the side of his pants to be ripped.

Then Shade decided to carry him to class.

At dragon class, Vault is preparing to write the summaries about the dragons' environment. That is until Shade burst in only to crash into Vault.

"Ha! Made it!" Connor said in triumphant, as he was about to get up, Connor hit his head at the bottom of the table and he collapsed with spinning eyes.

After classes, Connor lied down on the couch with a sad look on his face since he had a bad day, and the rest of the Warriors are trying to cheer him up.

Vault started to cheer him up, by letting Scar burn his butt, but Connor didn't laugh. Next Smoke and Flame began fighting each other and they even use their attack on themselves, but he didn't laugh not even a smile can be seen.

"Hey Connor, check me out," said Luu Luu as she was hanging onto Bigjaw's feet, and she began to swing around, hoping Connor will smile. As she did one big swing Bigjaw lost his grip and dropped Luu Luu and Bigjaw got dizzy and accidentally landed on top of Luu Luu.

After seeing that Connor began to laugh, and so did the rest of the Warriors.

The next day at the university, a guitar can be heard. Prim listened to the music to find the source of it, and there she saw a guy on top of his car. He has black hair that barely covers his eyes, a black shirt with a sleeveless camouflage vest, torn jeans, and gray shoes. And his name is Luke Carson.

"Hey, Miss Bunyan," Prim called to the dean. "Who's he?" she asked.

"Him, that's Luke Carson," Malinda answered to Prim. "I watch out for him, he has a record," she said sternly and left.

Prim looked at Luke in wonder, he looks like a nice guy and he's playing an instrument, he doesn't look like trouble.

So she walked towards his car and wrote down the Warriors' phone number and she placed the paper on his car, and she left.

Luke grabbed the paper and watched Prim leave with a smirk.

Later at the catacombs, Beardsley is writing a letter to Charles. Since it's his job as minister to make sure the Warriors are OK.

"Hey Beardsley, can I borrow your phone," said Prim as she took out Beardsley's phone out of his pocket.

"Why do you want to borrow my phone," questioned Beardsley.

"Because I gave my number to Luke Carson," she explained.

"Why him? And shouldn't you use the hotline?" Beardsley pointed at a phonebooth that's repaired.

"Because I like your ringtone." Prim pressed a button.

'Space Unicorn! Soaring through the Stars!'

"So cute," Prim said as she giggled, and she walked to her room.

"It was supposed to be ironic," Beardsley said with a deadpanned expression.

Prim sat in her room waiting for Luke to call, she waited for hours, and hours, and hours. To pass the time she played a few games. Then suddenly, Alicia came in.

"Prim there's trouble in East Liverpool! We have to hurry!" said Alicia.

"Oh, I never get to play the boss level." Prim pouted.

At East Liverpool, armored Gronckles began to spew at the buildings, when the people evacuated their homes the monsters broke in and began to steal the buildings' belongings.

"I wonder if Origa is into fashion?" said Owen.

And then the Warriors appeared and landed.

"First robbing a bank, and now robbing buildings. Geez, couldn't you at least try to sell something?" Connor spoke.

"Yeah, no thanks to Crystal Prep," said Owen, and he snapped his fingers, and the armored dragons charged into battle.

"Let's burn some trolls!" yelled the Warriors, and their dragons blasted at the armored dragons.

Then the monsters began to fight back and started blasting at the Warriors. So they quickly got off their dragons and began avoiding the lasers, and they began slicing off the blasters.

Connor kicked an ogre in the gut, and he socked him right in the face. Maia backflipped to avoid a goblin's attack, and then she hit him with her sword and side-kicked an ogre.

Vault clashed weapons with two ogres until he finally knocked one down. But an ogre started to attack him, then Vault avoided the ogre's sword and Luu Luu jumped up and knocked him down.

Then Prim is surrounded by two ogres, they raised their swords to struck her, but Prim ducked and the ogres hit themselves, which rendered them unconscious.

The Warriors regrouped and raised their swords, but Owen intervened.

"Oh no, you ain't scream clashing this time," said Owen, and he blasted at their weapons which causes the Warriors to lose their grips on them.

Just as Owen and the monsters were about to finish the Warriors, they heard a revving sound. They turned and spotted Luke in his car, he got out and took out his guitar.

"What in the world?" Owen questioned.

Then Luke plugged his guitar into the speaker and then, he played a tune. Which is a very loud tune that is, which causes the armored dragons to be dizzy, they tried to blast him, but they were so dizzy and couldn't fire straight.

"We're in the crossfire!" a goblin yelled.

"Monsters! Retreat!" yelled Owen, and they retreated. After the monsters fled, Luke stopped playing.

"Hey." Luke waved at Prim.

"Hey." Prim waved back with a blush, then Luke got back in his car and drove off.

Later back at the catacombs, the Warriors started to relax after their battle.

"I love a good winning streak," Connor said with a smile.

"Yeah, that was loads of fun." Vault agreed, and then they heard Beardsley's phone ringing, and then Prim came out.

"What's going on Prim?" asked Kaguya.

"I just got a call from Luke, and he says he wants to hang out with me. Later guys," said Prim as she left.

"I can't believe a guy like him would actually hang out with Prim. It's unnatural," said Beardsley.

"Says the guy who has the silliest ringtone," said Maia as she laughed, which causes Beardsley to be annoyed.
