Currently, Ash was at Professor Oak's summer camp, where he, along with the rest of the campers, were enjoying the last day. The weather was currently warm and sunny, and since today was the last day, the kids were free to do pretty much whatever they wanted.

In Ash's case, this simply meant running about the camp, trying to get as much enjoyment out of this day as he could. He really enjoyed his time at camp and was disappointed that it was already almost over.

Ash stopped running around though upon hearing what sounded like a group of voices nearby. They were rather loud and they sounded like they were arguing. Ash looked over towards the side of the camp and saw three of the other camp kids.

One of them was a boy with spiky brown hair, and another was a pretty girl with sleek black hair that went down her back. They were standing in front of another girl with chin-length black hair that was bobbed, though much of it was covered by the red flower hat she was wearing.

Ash knew the other boy and the longer-haired girl reasonably well. Sadly though, Ash's experiences with these two were usually not the most pleasant. The other girl had been a much more infrequent sight. The few times that Ash did see her, she was usually by herself, and she never seemed like she really wanted to socialize with anyone. The one time Ash had tried to interact with her made that quite clear.

Truth be told, there were actually two girls at this camp who seemed reserved or shy, though Ash was currently unsure as to where the other girl was.

Wherever she was though, Ash was glad that she wasn't a part of this group. These three clearly appeared as though they weren't getting along.
