"Hey, you two, it was very mean of you to treat that girl like that!" he shouted at them.

"Well, well, if it isn't little Ashy boy," Gary said, his arrogant grin returning. "You know, what I had just told that other girl can pretty much be applied to you as well."

"Listen, Gary," Ash began, completely ignoring the other boy's remarks. "Your granddaddy may be the famous Professor Oak, but that does not mean you are better than everyone else. And I can't wait to prove that to you and wipe that smirk off your face!"

The two of them then butted heads and growled at each other. This was when the camp counselor decided that it was time to intervene.

"Alright, that's enough! Break it up, you two," he ordered as he separated the two of them. "You don't want me to have to call your parents, do you?"

Ash and Gary gave each other one final glare before proceeding to go off in different directions.

After Ash had a moment to cool off from his outburst, his thoughts shifted to the girl who he knew was now off somewhere in the woods and crying. Without hesitation, Ash decided that he was going to go find her, and see if there was anything he could do to make her feel better.
