Request by ProfessorYeti: Sensei Wu's reaction of Cole becoming a ghost
I couldn't remember if they were already aboard the Destiny's Bounty or afterwards. I remember the Ninja practicing Airjitsu on the Bounty but they were still at the tea shop before going to the Temple... so I was lost and confused and in the end, I chose the bounty because its home.
Warning: Its sad and I hope it breaks your hearts. also, it's written by me so you already know what quality you'll get
Disclamer: Nopes
Request 3: Distraught (Wu and Cole)
The ninjas waited in heavy silence for the bounty to come. There wasn't much else they could do. Cole had just turn into a ghost and despite how much they wanted to, they couldn't comfort him.
He basically died just now, how do you console someone of their own death? All of them were at a lost of words, even the infamous blabler mouth. Even worst, they couldn't provide physical comfort either.
Funny how the guy afraid of ghost was the one who was turned into one.
Soon enough, the bounty arrived and one by one, each ninja climbed home. Like usual, Wu was waiting for them.
The old man always waited for his students to come back safe. It could be because his first pupil never returned and the wise man refuse to have another failure on his hands.
Kai was the first to climb in, followed by Zane. He could hear Jay saying something before he too climb onboard. Wu was happy to see no visible injuries on them, but where was Cole?
"Where is Cole?" He asked, worry gripping him. It only increase when the ninjas averted their eyes to the ground. Wu feared the worst.
Yang was a close friend. Key word; was. When both became sensei, they started having a lot of arguments. Yang constantly argued that Wu was too soft while the latter argued the former was being too... extreme. Their disagreements slowly drifted them apart until they never heard of each other anymore. That is until Wu learned about the incident that turned Yang into a ghost rather than immortal. Wu had all the reason to believe his friend's heart had turn dark and greedy of power. He also suspected that he was enslaving his students but Wu could never find any of his pupils.
"I'm here" A strangely familiar voice said barely above a whispered. It sounded like Cole's but with a fading echo.
"Cole..." Wu breathed in disbelief as he examined his closest student. Yes, Cole was his closest pupil.
The raven had been under his wing the longest and took everything he taught to heart. To be honest, Cole was the closest he's ever had to a son and compare to the other ninja, always seems to be needing him the most.
The other ninja distanced themselves to give Wu room to the black ninja. He advanced towards the raven, examining him. Cole was trained with a greenish glow and almost totally transparent. He could see the rails and morning sky behind Cole, through the earth master
"What happened to you?" He asked as he reached a hand out towards the raven. But the earth master took a step back, away from his member. Wu would never say it out loud, but that simple reaction shattered his heart.
"Guess I was a tag too late" He gave a dry chuckle that only serve to sadden everyone. "But more importantly," He handed Wu the scroll "We got the scroll" and he was walking away.
"Wait! Cole-" Wu was interrupted when spoke again
"Please Sensei, I just need some time alone" Cole pleaded, he sounded completely defeated and his voice cracked more than normal.
Wu could only watch Cole's low opacity figure disappeared through the doors, feeling like he failed another pupil yet again.
"I understand..." Wu whispered despite the fact that Cole was long gone.
So what did you guys think? I hope you all got your heart broken and thus, I would love it if you let me know what you thought! Sorry if it's so short BTW.
Anyone got any requests?
To Nuppa Nuppa: Glad you love Ki-Tea so much!
To ProfessorYeti: So what did you think? It's your story afterall, I hope it meet up with your expectations. Let me know if you want a part 2 or wish it happened differently. I love writing angst about Cole so its honestly no trouble. I'm offering. Now to reply to your awesome review that I thank you very much for (I love them so much!); First, I would just say you missed your point, not that your words didn't make any sense. Dunno how to explain it but it happens to me a lot too XD. 2) I'm happy to know you enjoyed Ki-Tea so much! 3) I'm glad I made your day with a honest comment and, you planning to write a story? My offer still stands 4) You've got any other ideas? Please say yes!5) Totally agree, Mahogany fits nicely (Although it's only for the Ki-tea shot. I always think of Cole with completely black eyes, isn't that adorable? It'll be like he's always doing the puppy eyes) And as when he called forth his earth powers, I always think his eyes become orange and yellow. Like his scar. I'm overjoyed to know you enjoy my shots! Thanks for reading them. (And you are most welcome!)
