Forgot to mention, this takes place after the Day Of The Departed but before Hands of times.

Shot 7: Not Okay (Part 2)

Who would have thought the price to pay would be so high?

The team sat anxiously on the uncomfortable blue chairs at the hospital, awaiting for the doctor to come out from the emergency room.

They couldn't believe what happened and neither could they believe just how foolish and obvious they were to their friend's suffering.

They really had Yang to thank, without him, they could very well be sitting at Cole's funeral right now

"Ninjas!" Yang yelled, shaking the whole temple to make sure they would awake within seconds.

Naturally, they were startled and freaked out by his presence, but the he had no time for that right now. Correction, Cole didn't have time. Thus, without waiting for the multi-colored boys to calm down, he spoke.

"Cole is in grief danger!" His voice was loud, he knew he was practically yelling but the worry and urgency was unmistakable. Plus, it was serving its purpose of being listened.

"He's in top of the tallest mountain. You must hurry" He told them and the boys nodded before Spinjutzu into their ninja gi and and rushed outside and onto the Bounty.

They didn't need to wake Nya nor Wu, Yang took care of that for them when he shook the temple, they just grabbed them and dragged them alone. They'll explain along the way (not that there was a lot to explain, the Airjutzu Master didn't gave them a lot of information, just that Cole was in some kind of danger and his location)

Soon enough, they reached the mountain and true to Yang's words, Cole was in grave danger.

They all knew Cole loves rock climbing, but why would he do it at night? Sure, he likes challenges and risks, but he wasn't suicidal! (Or so they thought)

It took a while to spot the raven in the darkness of the night, and surprisingly it was his clothes that gave him away. Yes, his black uniform that had the shiny drawing of the earth dragon had reflected the light of the moon. And thanks FSM, they had almost missed him.

Several gasps was heard at the state Cole was found. The raven lay in a (fortunately small) pool of blood, unconscious on a small lower platform at the edge of the cliff. There was barely enough space for the raven, one arm and his head were already dangling useless into empty air. He could fall at any moment! (A/N: I hope I described this properly)

Carefully, Nya held the ship floating in perfectly still, while Kai and Zane slowly descended with the support of ropes controlled by Jay and Lloyd.

The mission was going good so far, even the wind was in their favor. As planned, Zane enlarge the rock area with his ice, preventing the worst from happening while also providing a pillar to stabilize the two. Kai then slowly approached the unconscious elemental master and using the same turtle speed, he lifted the dangling member and passed it over his shoulders. His free hand was slide under the raven's waist and gently, the eased the black ninja onto safer ground where Zane was able to attached the extra harness. With that done, Zane held the raven similarly to how Kai was and using their earpiece wavelength, informed Jay and Lloyd that they were good to go.

They both stood up and was momentarily taken aback at just how light Cole felt. The opposite element masters shared a brief look, silently communicating the growing concern and fright for their friend.

Jay and Lloyd gently pulled the three on board, starting with the injured. They too was surprised with how light Cole felt, and to be frank it is quite a shocker. Zane estimated that he must have lost over 60 pounds (A/N: A pound is half a kilo, right) They laid Cole down and while Zane was doing a mild examination and estimation of body damaged, Kai told her sister to 'Hit it!' as they need to get to the hospital as fast as possible.

They were terrible friends. The only thing they did noticed about the raven was just the bags under the eyes and even then, they didn't think much about it.

They didn't see the increasing, never mind increasing, the constant presence of bandages on him. They didn't question his self isolating habit, instead, like the horrible friends they were, took it as an opportunity to make plans among themselves (Jay and Nya especially) They didn't even noticed he was starving, FSM forbid that Cole and not eating would ever be on the same sentence. They mostly had trouble about the earth ninja eating too much (They would tease the living out of Cole, but the latter would reply back that he got those damn muscles).

Yeah, and they dare call themselves brothers...

Once they reached the hospital, Cole was sent directly into the emergency room. Zane had reported that Cole had dislocated his right shoulder and broke his left leg as well as multiple scraps and cuts. What had scared them half to death was when Zane mentioned that these were the newest, possibly from the fall he took at the cliff, injuries. He had more, older ones, but not old enough to be from one of their battles. Spider web cracks on most of his hand's bones, both of them and several crack ribs. But worst of all were the many cuts of varying deepness all across his arms and legs. They were too clean to be accidental or from some kind of enemy, leaving only one option left...

Welp! I'm cutting this here. I know, I'm a bastard.

Sorry for how short it is, but like I said, I'm a bastard. But still, don't let this stop you from reviewing. which talking about,

To Red panda34: TvT Thank you

To EllenXx: No, I'm a bastard. And that's a very nice idea not to mention unique. I always thought Cole was the ninja with more modern problems and that idea my dear, is freaking great. Your series will come soon enough. But really, thank you... you make me feel loved ^^ Have a nice week... You don't happen to have discord, do you?

To Nyancatspacemeep: Girl, do we share the same mind or something? I too, have basically (Mine is because people tend to stare, making him really uncomfortable) the same theory. I mean, scars like that don't just disappear, it's actually among my cannons for Cole, alone with the eye underneath still being ghost like. Not to mention, I already wrote that idea in my Oni story (don't go read it, I'm rewriting that disaster)XD. Fak, I couldn't stop laughing when I read your review. I mean, what were the chances? And saaaaaaaaaaame. But Anyway, thanks :)

To HyberbolB: Thank you, even though I have no clue what you mean (because I'm dumb) but I'm taking it as a complement. Sad, what about wattpad? (Discord and wattpad are the only two thing I use to talk to other people) But it's fine either way. Eeeeehhh, I would have never guessed. I'm not good writing comedy when it involve a lot of poeple... or in general but still, give an idea and I'll do my best. And call my review crap and I'm shoving a pen down your throat. Other than that, Happy Wednesday!

To The Night Ninja: Wow, that is a great idea. Although, I never really watch Avatar, I think I got a pretty neat idea. However, please be patient with me since this idea is pretty complex and I will need to work on it a little.

To NinjagoLover61-9: Thank you :)
