Me: (Walks into Author's Office and notices Neptune on Computer) "Nep, what are you doing in here?"

Neptune: "What's it look like I'm doing? I'm typing."

Me: "Okay, next question: HOW did you get in here?"

Neptune: (Lifts up a key) "I used the spare key that Heero found. How else was I gonna get in? Through the window? Please, I have standards."

Me: "Well, that certainly explains what happened to my donuts the other day. Last question: WHY are you in here? I'm the guy who normally does the typing for this story. You guys just read the script I write up and go from there."

Neptune: "Well, I saw the markings on the calender."

Me: (Looks over at calender) "Right… I guess I did have today marked, didn't I?"

Neptune: "...And done!" (Prints off script and runs into IC) "Okay, people! Get your butts out here!"

Heero: (Enters IC from Lounge) "I hope you have a good reason for your shouting."

Compa, IF, 5pb, Gust, Nisa, and Red: (Enter IC from Break Room) "What's the problem, Nep-Nep?"

IF: "She has a lot of problems, and I'm not talking about her amnesia."

Lady Black Heart, White Heart and Green Heart: (Enter IC from Lounge) "What are you shouting for this time? It better not be because you want pudding."

Me: "Nope. The next bonus chapter is done. And you won't believe who wrote it."

Neptune: (Holds up script) "It was me! I totally wrote this one!"

Lady White Heart: (Holds hand over mouth to suppress laugh) "You? Writing a chapter? The only time you can be bothered to sit down and write something is when it has to do with food."

Lady Green Heart: "Now, now. Let's give her a chance. She may have actually made something beneficial to this story."

Me: "Actually she decided to make one for my birthday. Not sure whether to be flattered or scared..."

Heero: "I did take the time to proof read her work. Though whether or nor that's a consolation is up to you."

Neptune: "Yup. Heero was helping me write this bad boy, so of course it's gonna be good!"

Red: "Can I write the next one?"

Me: "Uh, no. That's never happening."

5pb: "Are we actually going to get a part in this one? I mean, some of us didn't get much of a part in the last chapter."

Neptune: "Fine, you can have more time… even though it's not about you."

Me: (Looks over script) "Well, I guess we can put it in… Didn't have anything else planned. Places everybody!" (Waits for cast to line up) "Okay… let's here it."

Heero, Neptune, Compa, IF, 5pb, Gust, Nisa, Lady Black Heart, Lady White Heart, and Lady Green Heart: "HeeroUzuki does not own Mobile Suit Gundam Wing. Hyperdimension Neptunia, Super Robot Wars, or any work pertaining to any of these franchises. However, he does own the idea of crossing over Gundam Wing and Hyperdimension Neptunia."

Me: (Flips through script) "We sincerely hope you enjoys this… interesting bonus chapter that Neptune came up with… with Heero's help, supposedly."

Neptune: "Of course they're gonna enjoy it! I mean, it's got me and Heero in it! How could they not love it?"

Me: "We'll just have to wait until the end of the chapter. Until then, let's get out of here. Oh, and to add to the disclaimer; I don't own any works from the Fate series. Okay, NOW we can go."

Me, Heero, Neptune, Compa, IF, 5pb, Gust, Nisa, Red, Lady Black Heart, Lady White Heart, Lady Green Heart: (Leave IC)

Bonus Chapter: Author's Birthday Special! Operation: Save the Author! (Cuz evil ol' Convy wants to steal author man's… notebook?)

It was a cloudy morning on Lowee, and as usual, the landmass was cold and snow was constantly falling from the sky. Originally, the party was supposed to be searching for the last Key Fragment, but Neptune suddenly felt like taking an extra day off after being stuck inside of a disk the previous day.

The group was seated in the living room of their safe house, waiting for the leader of the group to tell them how they were going to spend their sudden day off. IF was looking at her phone for a phone before scanning the living area, looking for the party's leader, "So… any idea where Nep ran off to?"

Compa was happily munching on an apple next to the Guild member, "Nep-Nep said she was trying to find something special to do on our day off. I wonder what she meant by that?"

Suddenly the front door of the safe house swung open. Standing in the door way was Neptune, who looked bored out of her mind, "There's nothing to do here."

Lyrica looked at the purplenette. Were they not in the magical fantasy land of Lowee? Surely there was SOMETHING she could be doing, "Are you sure? Normally you'd be walking in with a crepe in your mouth or something."

Neptune began flailing her arms in comical fashion. "But Lyrics, I can't do the same thing all the time! I gotta mix things up now and then, y'know?"

Heero watched the amnesiac goddess as she tried to explain her reasoning for being bored, "Then shouldn't you be looking for some way to deal with your… problem? Surely you can find some motivation to do something."

Neptune went over and grabbed the Gundam pilot's hand, "That's why you're gonna help me find something to do, Heero."

The purplenette quickly took off with the Perfect Soldier in tow, leaving the rest of the group behind in the living room. They stared at the snow cloud left behind in their wake, contemplating whether they should follow after their leader.

Finally, Compa stood up from her seat on the couch, tossing her apple into a nearby trash bin, "We should follow after Nep-Nep. We might find something fun to do with our day off."

Red was interested in the idea, though not for the same reason, "We have to go! I might find more wifeys!"

The girls ran after their leader and lone male party member. After a few minutes of following a large cloud of snow, the party found themselves in the middle of Guild City, though what Neptune hoped to find their was anyone's guess.

Nisa imagined that the only thing that could happen this early in the morning was a monster attack, "Perhaps a monster might show up, and we will have to deal with it ourselves."

Neptune immediately shot down the idea. Fighting monsters was the last thing she wanted to do on a day off, "That ain't happening! I don't wanna fight monsters when I should be relaxin' and having fun."

The purple haired girl scanned the vicinity, looking for anything out of the ordinary. There were no shops that stood out, no randomly placed vendors… nothing. Neptune was about to give up and move on to another area when her eye caught a particular individual seated on a bench.

The person in question was a young man with short brown hair and matching colored eyes. He wore a black tank top underneath a denim jacket, blue jeans and a pair of black tennis shoes. The boy wore a pair of square glasses and held a styrofoam cup in one hand, taking a sip from it every now and then.

Neptune knew that she had seen the individual before. Actually, all of them had, "Hey, do you guys see that? Is that who I think it is?"

Compa directed her attention to the person Neptune was focused on, "It's Mr. Author. What do you think he's doing here?"

IF was perplexed to the author's appearance as well, "I'm surprised someone let him out of the office."

While no one knew just what the author of this questionable story was doing there in Lowee, Neptune's sense of curiosity urged her to find out what that reason was, "I don't know about you guys, but I smell an awesome secret event!"

The party's leader took off in the direction of the author, leading most of the party to question the girl's sense of smell, "Gust was not aware that secret events had smell."

Heero followed after the purple haired girl, knowing she might get herself in trouble if she wasn't careful, "We might as well see his reason for being here."

The Author was taking a sip of the soda in his hand, looking at the ground and mumbling things to himself, when Neptune suddenly skid to a halt in front of him, "Hey, Author man! Whatcha doin' here?"

Looking up from the spot he had been staring at, the young man saw the purplenette in front of him, and raised his styrofoam into the air with a grin, "Eh, just trying to enjoy my birthday. Thought I'd hang out in Gamindustri for a while, if it's all the same to you."

The rest of the group had caught up in time to hear The Author explain to their leader that it was his birthday. Thoughts of a big birthday party ran through Compa's mind, garnering a big smile from the group's nurse in training, "I was wondering why the 27th had been circled on all the calenders. I didn't know it was your birthday, Mr. Author."

The Author just looked at Compa for a moment before returning his attention to Neptune. "I know that you were the one that wrote this chapter, but you are just trying to bash the fourth wall into nothing, aren't you?"

Neptune had a big grin on her face, clearly not feeling any shame or remorse for what she was doing, "I'm the awesome character that I am because I beat up on the fourth wall! Just ask our readers. There ain't nothing that's gonna keep this Neptune from breaking the fourth wall!"

A moment of silence ensued as the Author looked down at the ground for a moment before directing his attention to the readers, "At this time, I feel I should apologize to our readers in advance for this. Also I recommend having some tape or another monitor on hand… You might need it."

IF cast a weary glance toward Neptune, "Wait a minute… I thought you guys were joking when you said Neptune wrote this one."

"Well, nothing we can do about it now. Neptune made it at the last second and I don't have anything to replace it with. All we can do is ride this roller-coaster and hope we survive."

Neptune had centered her thoughts around a birthday party, having heard it from the Author, "Well, what are we doing standin' around here? We gotta have a birthday party! We should totally have it in Planeptune! They've got all the best stuff for making an awesome party."

Lyrica looked at Neptune as though she were delirious, "But… isn't the Sky Harbor closed today?"

The Author took a sip of his soda before looking toward the Sky Harbor... which was open, "Yeah… remember when I said that Neptune wrote this one? Well, she decided to have all of the Sky Harbors open for convenience."

Nisa looked toward the open Sky Harbor, wondering just where the logic was in having all of them open, "Is that safe? Should all of them really be open?"

Heero was trying to make sense of this as well, but it seemed as though logic just didn't matter here, "Considering who is responsible for this, I'm quite certain that none of this is safe."

The Author took another pull from his drink, savoring the sugary drink within, "Not only is this not safe for us, I'm sure it's hazardous to the readers as well. I can imagine that they're questioning your sanity right now. And probably mine for letting Neptune get into my office… and for letting Heero swipe the spare key." The young man shook his head. "Anyway, let's just go to Planeptune, have this birthday party, and end the chapter."

Neptune was salivating at the thought of eating the delicious food that was normally served during one's birthday, specifically the cake, "Let's get those feet movin', people! We're gonna throw an awesome party for the birthday boy!"

Doing as the purplenette said the group made their way towards the Sky Harbor, unaware they were being watched by a familiar, malevolent being.

Xxx

After crossing the Sky Harbor and entering the Land of Purple Progress, the groups first task was getting party supplies together. Gust happened to know a discount store nearby that sold most everything they would need, "Gust knows where we can get party supplies for cheap."

Neptune flashed a thumbs up toward the young alchemist, "Way to come through for us, Gust! I can already taste that Deeeeelicious cake!"

IF rolled her eyes as she listened to the amnesiac. Neptune really only wanted to hold the party so she could stuff sugary food down her mouth, "Look, its all well and good that you want to throw a party for someone else. Just remember that you're not the important one today."

The Author looked at the brunette next to him, and she didn't appear to be in the best of moods at the moment, "IF, it's occurred to me that one of your cell phones is broken. Is that right?"

IF looked at the young man for a moment before fishing the blue cell phone out of her jacket pocket. "Yeah… I guess that monster damaged it during the battle yesterday. I don't want to get a replacement just yet. But I don't think I have a choice."

Sympathizing with the Guild Moderatist, the Author let go of his styrofoam cup, which started floating in mid air. He reached into his jacket and pulled out a notebook and a pen. "I think I might be able to do something about that."

The Author opened the notebook and began to write in the pages of the think book. After a few seconds, the young man closed his notebook and stashed it away in his jacket, "There. Try it now."

IF had so many questioned at that moment. Like how it was that his drink was just floating in the air, but decided to hold off on any questioned until she checked her phone. To her amazement, the cellular device was working perfectly. There wasn't any damage on it at all, "How did you do that?"

"Um, hello? I'm the Author of this story. I can do whatever I want in here."

Neptune suddenly raised her hand in the air and started waving it in order to get the Author's attention, "Oh, can you give me a cookie?"

Once more, the young man pulled his notebook out, wrote in the pages with his pen, then put the two object back in his inner jacket pocket. A cookie suddenly appeared in front of the purplenette, who marveled at the circular treat, "Wow! That's so awesome! And it's chocolate chip, too."

Heero looked at the cookie that Neptune was now happily eating before looking over at the young man who's birthday they would be celebrating, "That notebook. Does it have some affect on reality?"

The Author pat the notebook through his jacket, "Only on the reality of this world. Anywhere else and it's just a regular notebook."

"So that notebook is the key to your power?"

The party heard a voice from behind them, and it was very familiar. Lyrica immediately began looking around for the source of the evil sounding voice, "W-Who's there? I-I have a gun!"

Nisa raised her eyebrow as she looked at the songstress quivering behind IF, "No you don't. In fact, I've never seen you use one."

The cerulean haired girl shot a panicked look back at the Keeper of Justice. "W-Well, she knows that NOW!"

The party didn't have to look hard to find the owner of the voice. Standing in front of the group was Conversation, the Evangelist who had plotted a coup on Leanbox that had ultimately failed thanks to their efforts.

Neptune stepped forward, wiping the crumbs off of her mouth before speaking, "Convy? What do you want, you big 'ol meanie? You come here to pick a fight with us?"

Heero already knew that a fight was going to break out, but based on what she said, it was clear that the party wasn't her reason for being there, "I believe she has some other reason for following us."

A menacing laugh passed through Conversation's lips. She did have another reason for being there, "Haaaah ha ha ha! I'm here to take that notebook. If it truly holds power over reality, then simply possessing it would make me the most powerful being in the world."

The Author just stared at the evil looking woman for a moment… though he appeared slightly confused, "...Who is she again? I think her name starts with an… A, I think?"

Neptune educated the young author on the name of the individual in front of them, "That there is Convy. She's a mean old crone who tried to hurt a lot of people."

"Oh, right. I just now remembered her. She got such a small part in the last chapter. I can't really be bothered to remember the names of antagonists who fail at their jobs."

The Evangelist's eye twitched, while Nisa began to contemplate whether or not the woman could be considered a threat, "So… is she actually evil? If she were, she would be better at being a villain."

Conversation's patience was wearing thin already, "I don't have time for this. Once I get my hands on that notebook, I'll-"

Before another word could pass through her mouth, the pale looking Evangelist was splashed with water. With water dripping down her face, Conversation immediately turned to the person responsible. Standing a few feet away from her with a water bottle in hand was Lyrica. "Stop doing that!"

IF had to suppress a laugh while getting onto the underground singer, "Lyrica, we've been over this twice. I really don't think she's that kind of witch."

Lyrica tossed the water bottle aside, "I'm sorry, but I'm just not convinced."

The Author was laughing at the now drenched Conversation, "Wow. Even in a bonus chapter, you're not safe."

With growing anger, the Evangelist charged at the Author with the express intent of claiming the notebook in his pocket, "Once I have that notebook, you're the ones who won't be safe!"

Before she could get close, Neptune intercepted the false Evangelist. The purple haired girl's Katana clashed with the glaive her foe was wielding, sending sparks in every direction. Neptune was able to force her attacker away, while throwing out her reasoning for sticking her neck out for the young man, "I can't let you take Author man's notebook! If you did, I'll never get my M rated scene with Heero! Do you know how much that would suck?!"

Conversation was pushed further back by Heero, who ran at her with his GN Sword and with blade extended. After trading a few blows, the Evangelist realized that she didn't stand much of a chance against the group at the moment, "Tch. This isn't going quite as planned."

The Evangelist quickly took off. Once they were certain she was gone, the party regrouped and went over what had just transpired. Neptune was the most upset, thinking that Conversation was going after the notebook for the sole reason of denying her the M rated scene she wanted, "Can you believe her? She thinks she can just come into the bonus chapter I made, and try and steal away the thing that's gonna give me my M rated scene? What a jerk!"

Heero couldn't believe she was so caught up with that 'M rated scene' of hers, "Neptune's complaint aside, we cannot allow her to get her hands on the notebook. If it really holds power over reality, then there's no telling what she could do with it."

Red wasn't sure just what was going on, but knew that the party was taking the matter very seriously, "If she really wants the notebook, shouldn't we just burn it? Then she'll never get it."

The Author shook his head, "No can do. This notebook is what allows your world to exist. If it's destroyed, this world will cease to exist, as will all of you."

A chill ran down everyone's spine at that thought. The idea that they would disappear if a notebook were destroyed wasn't appeal… and it wasn't exactly the most ideal way to go out.

Neptune was bound and determined to not only hold a birthday party for the young man, but to keep the notebook from being stolen or destroyed, "We just got beat up Convy if she shows her mug. We're having that birthday party, one way or another."

With that, the purplenette dragged a blackboard out from behinds a nearby boulder with pictures of the Author as well as the notebook in his possession on it, "Ladies and Destined Lover, I give you Operation: Save the Author!"

The young man just looked at Neptune and the blackboard she had seemingly pulled out of nowhere. "You planned this, didn't you?"

Red just looked on in amazement, "How does she do that? I wanna do stuff like that!"

IF shook her head as she watched what was unfolding before her, "I can only imagine how much headway we'd make if she put this kind of energy into our search for the Key Fragment."

Neptune pulled out a pointer from her hoodie pocket and pointed at the pictures on the board, "As you all know, Author man is here to have a totally awesome birthday party. But that meanie Convy wants to ruin it, and steal his super powerful, super rare notebook! If she gets her evil hands on it, we're all gonna be lookin' at a Game Over screen before you know it!"

Nisa was getting fired up over the idea of saving Gamindustri by keeping the collection of pages away from their enemy, "All we need to do is keep that evil woman from getting her hands on the heroic set of notes, right?"

"You got that right, Nisa! All we gotta do is beat back Convy when she comes at us for the day, and we'll be celebrating with cakes and stuff as a reward."

The Author attempted to dissuade the purple haired girl, knowing that it wouldn't be necessary to constantly fight Conversation, "Listen, I appreciate what you're trying to do, but you don't have to worry about me or the notebook. I can just-"

Neptune silenced the young man, not willing to hear another word on the matter. "Don't worry your little head about a thing. We've totally got this. We'll throw you the best birthday party and bust up Convy if she shows up."

Against his better judgment, the boy gave up on the matter. The party's leader directed her attention back to the party, "Okay people, we know meanie face Convy is here. We gotta make sure we get everything for the party and keep that liar away from Author man."

IF heaved an exasperated sigh, "It's amazing what Neptune will go through for food. But, whatever. This is a pretty serious matter."

Nisa was going into yet another dramatic speech regarding the duties of a hero, "Although it may just be a collection of pages, that notebook contains the hopes and dreams of all those who live in Gamindustri. We can't allow it to fall into the hands of evil!"

Lyrica just watched as the overly dramatic Keeper of Justice went into another one of her heroic spiels, "Nisa, you're at about an eleven right now. We're gonna need you to bring it down a bit."

Compa was in complete agreement with Nisa's sentiments, "Ms. Heroine is right! If Convy gets the notebook, everyone will be miserable! We can't let that happen!"

Neptune turned her attention to Gust, "Gust, take us away to the store with the great discounts!"

Gust gave a curt nod before taking off towards the center of Planeptune's capital city with the group in tow.

Xxx

Being the center of the most advanced city in all of Gamindustri, their was a lot of pedestrians walking to and from the various stores in the area. As the civilians went about their daily routine, three individuals had an unexpected run-in with one another… one that they wished they could have avoided.

Lady Black Heart, Lady White Heart and Lady Green Heart were staring each other down. Each was casting a heated glare at the other two, wanting nothing more than for their very existence to cease.

Finally, the CPU of Lastation broke the silence between them, "What exactly are you two doing here? Nothing good, I bet."

Lady White Heart's hands were balled into tight fists, the veins in her hands were starting to bulge as her silent anger began to mount, "Shut it, pigtails. You're not the only one who's pissed about this situation."

Lady Green Heart tried to maintain a level head, but knew that she would lose her cool around the two eventually, "I simply came here to run an errand. Rest assured, I'm not thrilled about this encounter either."

Before a cat fight could ensue, the three Hearts found their fight being broken up by Neptune, who suddenly appeared next to them, "Whatcha guys doin' here? Are you having a goddess convention here or something?"

The trio was momentarily startled at Neptune's sudden appearance. They eventually found their attention drifting towards the party, as well as their guest, which momentarily surprised them, "Wait… isn't that the Author? What's he doing here?"

Neptune's excitement ran wild as she thought about the birthday party that was to come, "It's Author man's birthday, and he said he wanted to spend it here! Isn't that great? It's gonna be the best birthday party ever!"

The purplenette's excitement was infectious, as Lady Green Heart found herself wanting to join in the festivities, "That certainly sounds like fun. Would you mind if I decided to join you?"

Naturally, Neptune was weary of the voluptuous CPU. She didn't quite trust her, and was certain that she would make a move on Heero if she wasn't careful. That said, she knew that the party could use some help dealing with Conversation, should she show herself again. "Well, we could use some help dealing with Convy. She tried to beat up Author man and steal his notebook!"

Lady Black Heart raised an inquisitive eyebrow, "What could be so important about a notebook?"

"His notebook is super rare, and uber powerful. It can do anything you want. Like making cookies appear outta nowhere and stuff."

Heero cleared his throat to get the attention of the four goddesses, "What Neptune is trying to say is that the notebook supposedly hold power over reality. If she gets her hands on it, we're in trouble."

Neptune folded her arms and let out a huff, "I can't believe her. Doing something like this in the bonus I made."

Lady White Heart's face turned pale as she listened to the purplenette, "...I thought you were joking when you said Neptune wrote this one."

The Author shrugged his shoulders, "Well, what can you do? I didn't have another chapter to replace it. Besides, I'm curious to see where this ends up."

Lady Green Heart furrowed her brow upon hearing just what the Author's notebook was capable of, as well as who was after it, "Joking aside, this is quite the serious matter. If she were to acquire it… I can't begin imagine what would happen to Gamindustri."

Given the situation they faced, Lady Black Heart decided to offer her aid… in her own way, "Well, I have a lot of things I have to take care of… But this is pretty important, so I'll help out."

Even Lady White Heart was offering to help, seemingly forgetting about her run-in with the other Hearts, "This is too serious to ignore. I suppose I'll help as well."

As the group began to make their way toward the discount store for the party supplies, they heard a melodramatic laugh… one that they had heard not long ago.

Neptune groaned as she listened to it, "Okay. We get it. You're evil. Shut up!"

Conversation revealed herself to the group once more, not liking how Neptune interrupted her, "You continue to get on my nerves, Neptune. I'll make it a point to get rid of you first once I have that notebook."

The Author rolled his eyes at the woman who had just been beaten by the group not even ten minutes ago, "Why don't you just piss off already? Nobody wants you here. I know I sure as hell don't."

Heero armed his main weapon once more. Another fight was inevitable, "She's not simply going to leave. Force is the only effective measure."

Neptune looked back toward the rest of the party, "You guys go and get the stuff we need for the party. We've got this."

Compa looked between Neptune and Conversation before running off with the rest of the group, "Be careful, Nep-Nep!"

Neptune was confident that Heero and herself were more than enough to hold off the Evangelist, that is until the three CPUs made it apparent that they hadn't left with the party. Lady White Heart seemed to be in a bad mood from listening to the pale woman, "I don't know who the hell you are, but just hearing your voice pisses me off."

Lady Black Heart didn't see the fake Evangelist as much of a threat, though she readied herself for battle anyway, "This lady is the one trying to steal the notebook? She doesn't look all that threatening."

Lady Green Heart pointed the end of her spear at Conversation, taking on a rather commanding tone of voice, "As a CPU I cannot allow you to do as you please. I suggest you prepare yourself."

Conversation had neither planned on, nor wanted to deal with the CPUs, "(This could be a problem… fortunately, I have some monster to use for my escape. I need to come up with a plan to get that notebook while dealing with the CPUs as well.)"

Screams could be heard nearby. A brief glance was enough to see that monsters had gotten into the city and were terrorizing the civilians. Heero returned his attention the Evangelist, only to find that she was gone.

With the fake Evangelist gone for the time being, the group turned their attention to the monsters rampaging through the street, "We need to deal with the monsters for now. We'll deal with her later."

Heero, Neptune and the three CPUs turned their attention to the monsters that were somehow able to sneak into the city. Between the joint efforts of the five individuals it didn't take long to quell the creatures.

The Gundam pilot put away his weapon, as the monsters had either been defeated or ran off, "What a hassle. Dealing with that fake Evangelist and now these monsters..."

While the small group was deliberating their situation the Author shook his head, questioning just what the party's leader was doing, "I'm starting to regret allowing Neptune to post this. Seriously, I'm sure our readers are scratching their head trying to figure just what the hell is going on. This whole chapter probably could have been resolved right now if she hadn't sent the others off to get stuff for the birthday party. Seriously, who does that? I can't help but feel like Neptune did this on purpose… that or she didn't put any real thought behind this chapter."

Compa, IF and the rest of the party came out of the discount store with bags in hand. Out of all of them, IF was the one questioning just why it was they entered a discount party store when really they should have been helping to fight off the monsters, "Am I the only one who's bothered by the fact that we just spent our time in a store instead of helping with the monster problem?"

Nisa didn't like the fact, either. Having become the Keeper of Justice, she was sworn (or so she said) to protect the people of Gamindustri before anything else, "As a heroine, I should be fighting off the monsters that threaten these lands, not shopping for a birthday party."

And once again, the Author couldn't help but feel like Neptune hadn't thought through the entire writing process, "This is the kind of shit I'm talking about."

Neptune approached the girls carrying the bags of party supplies, "You guys got everything, right? Banners and streamers and all that good stuff?"

Compa raised the bags she was carrying, "We made sure to get everything."

The purple haired girl turned to gather up Heero and the CPUs, when she saw the goddess of Leanbox holding onto the Gundam pilot, as per usual, "Who would have thought that we would meet up like this, Heero?"

Lady Black Heart was absolutely livid. She had seen this happen a number of times before, but she was no less angry seeing the CPU of Leanbox clinging to Heero than the first time it happened. The raven haired goddess strode over to the two and attached herself to Heero's free arm, "Care to explain why you feel the need to grab on to Heero every time you see him? At this point, I'd imagine he's sick of it."

As if that weren't bad enough, Lady White Heart attached herself to Heero's waist while glaring at the other two CPUs, "I'd imagine Heero is sick of both of you attaching yourselves to him. Why don't you both screw off?"

All three CPUs were about to get into a heated argument, when Heero was wrenched away from them by Neptune. The amnesiac held onto the Gundam pilot's arm tightly while frowning at the trio, "Okay, so we got all the stuff we need for the party. So we're gonna go now."

IF suddenly struck Neptune on the back of the head, "You asked them for help, Nep. You can't just suddenly tell them to get lost."

Neptune rubbed the sore spot on her head, glaring at the brunette as tears welled up in her eyes from pain. The Author pat the purplenette on her head, feeling sorry for her, "As long as the chapter is short, you won't have to put up with this for long."

Lady Green Heart immediately took her place next to Heero again, "Since I have nothing else to do, perhaps I should join all of you in celebrating the Author's birthday."

"I wasn't aware that celebrating my birthday was a such a big thing, but… whatever. Seeing as Neptune wrote this one, we should keep it as short as possible."

The purple haired girl frowned at the young man, not particularly liking his choice of words, "Hey, what's that supposed to mean?"

The Author scratched his cheek, not wanting to her the amnesiac's feelings, but also wanting to spare the poor readers, "Well, I can't help but feel as though you wrote this chapter to drive our readers to the point of irretrievable insanity."

Neptune lips just formed a mischievous grin, "Aww, I'm sure the readers are enjoying this."

As the purplenette began to lead the group toward the safe house, the Author mutter under his breath. "Yeah… have fun telling that to our readers that get sent to the hospital for irreparable brain damage because of this nonsensical chapter."

Xxx

The moment the group had arrived at the safe house their first order of business was setting up the place for the birthday party. The girls were chatting amongst themselves, laughing and having a good time dressing up the place.

Lady Black Heart suddenly stopped her work on the banner to look at the notebook sitting next to the Author. The CPU was having a hard time believing that the collection of pages was really quite as powerful as everyone was making it out to be, "Does that notebook REALLY have control over reality? It looks… ordinary."

The Author picked up the otherwise ordinary looking notebook, "Pretty much. With this, I can do anything I want here. For example..."

Pulling out his pen, the young man quickly wrote on one of the pages of the book, and shortly afterward a pair of cat ears and a tail appeared on Lady Black Heart's person. The goddess of Lastation looked at herself in a mirror to see the change, and was surprised with what she saw, "H-How did you…? What is-"

"I can even make someone in this world do something completely out of the ordinary. Such as making Heero pet you on the head."

Repairing things that were broken or making objects appear out of thin air was one thing, but making someone act differently? There was no way that could happen. At least, that's what the girls thought until the Author wrote in his notebook once more.

Heero, who had been sitting in a chair minding his own business, was suddenly struck with the overpowering urge to pet Lastation's CPU. The Perfect Soldier got up and approached the raven haired goddess, garnering her attention in the process, "Y-You can't be serious… (I-Is Heero actually going to…?)"

The boy seemed as though he was trying to restrain himself, but it was in vain. Heero lifted one hand and gently stroked the top of Lady Black Heart's head. Having the Gundam pilot pet her was actually quite pleasant, as was made evident by the way Lady Black Heart's tailed swayed from side to side. Eventually she started purring like a cat, and the purring grew louder as the boy stroked the top of her head.

Neptune was envious of the CPU. She normally had to ask in order to get Heero to pet her head, so seeing this just didn't seem fair, "I'm totally jelly right now you guys! Lady Black Heart's getting pampered by Heero. That's not fair!"

Everyone else in the room couldn't help but feel jealous as well. Taking pity on the girls, the Author scribbled in his notebook once more, "Okay, I think I made my point."

Almost instantly, Lady Black Heart stopped purring as the ears and tail disappeared and Heero stopped stroking her head. The two teens looked at each other for a moment before looking away out of embarrassment.

The Author held up his notebook while gesturing to the two teens. "This notebook lets me control every aspect of this world. Even a no name character can be made into an overpowered hero with this thing."

Neptune turned her attention to the notebook, her eyes full of wonder, "So… you mean I could totally be an invincible hero with that thing?"

The young man closed the book, "You could… but I'm not going to let that happen. Sorry, but if we may you into a completely invincible character now, the rest of the story would be made pointless. I gotta have some fun with what I'm doing."

Lyrica had been going through the fridge and the bags the group had brought with them… and found that something crucial was missing, "Umm… guys? We don't have a cake."

Everyone looked at the cerulean haired girl in silence for a moment before Neptune began to look at every other girl around the room, "Okay… who forgot to get the cake?"

Compa looked over at IF, "I thought Iffy was going to get one."

IF directed her attention toward Gust, "Since Gust knew where the store was I thought she would find one for us."

Gust in turn directed her attention toward Red, "Gust thought Red was getting cake."

Red was flabbergasted, not knowing that she had been put in charge of searching for a birthday cake, "What? Nobody told me I had to look for it!"

The Author got up from his seat, not finding the lack of a cake to be a big deal, "Look, if we really need one I can always bake a cake. Or better yet, I can just write one up with my notebook."

Neptune looked at the young man with a bewildered expression on her face, "The birthday boy's not supposed to make the cake, silly. And you can't just wish one up, either. We'll go out and get one for ya. I mean, this is MY chapter and all, I got show that I'm a great hostess. The purplenette linked arms with Heero. "And Heero is gonna help me."

As soon as the front door opened, screams of terror could be heard from down the street. Apparently there were more monsters. The rest of the group filtered out onto the lawn to see what was going on.

A cold bead of sweat ran down the side of Nisa's face, "I don't think I've seen this many monsters inside of a city. How did they all get here."

A familiar melodramatic laugh ensued, earning a sigh from IF, "I'll give you one guess."

Conversation appeared before the group for the third time that day, "Third time's the charm, they say. This time, I WILL get that notebook."

The Author cupped his hands over his mouth and shouted at the fake Evangelist, "Fuck you, bitch! Get your own damn notebook!"

Heero quickly scanned the area, and there were quite a few monsters, "We need to focus on suppressing the monsters. If we don't there could be a great deal of collateral damage.'

Neptune looked between Heero and Conversation, "But what do we do about-"

The Author walked past the group, heading straight for the pale woman in front of them, "You guys can go deal with the monsters. I'll make this quick."

The young man stopped a few yards away from the fake Evangelist who was just standing there with that same smug look on her face, "So, finally decided to stop hiding behind the band of idiots?"

A small smirk formed on the Author's face. "Hey, if that's what you wanna call it. I just didn't want to waste my time with a failure like you."

The corner of Conversation's lip twitched. She didn't take kindly to being belittled by others, "Damn brat. I'll fix that attitude of yours, along with this world!"

Even as Conversation charged at the Author, he made no effort to move. Just as she was about to strike the young man with her glaive, the pale looking woman was tossed onto her back by an unseen force. Conversation quickly got up, unsure of what had just happened, while the Author just shrugged his shoulders. "Well? Weren't you going to fix my attitude?"

With a sneer, the Evangelist charged the Author once more, only to be tossed aside again. It was at this point that Conversation voiced her discontent, "How the hell are you doing that?!"

"Lady, you don't seem to understand just who your up against. I'm the AUTHOR of this story. My word is law. What I say goes. I am essentially god here. I can do what I want, when I want, where I want. Speaking of which..."

The Author opened up his notebook, and with pen in hand, scribbled something into the pages. A portal opened up next to the young man, and out of it came a young woman with blonde hair and green eyes. She wore a blue dress with armor over it, a pair of gauntlets, and was wielding a golden sword.

The woman scanned her surroundings for a moment before noticing the individual behind her, "Author? What are you doing here? Where are we?"

The young man pat the woman on her head, "Saber, this is just another one of the stories I've been working on. I'll get around to posting my Fate series of fanfics eventually. More importantly, remember how your lunch went missing last week?" The Author pointed over to Conversation. "She ate it."

Conversation wasn't sure what was going on, but she knew she never ate anyone's lunch, "Oh, that is a load of bull-"

Saber's golden sword began to glow as her face turned red with anger, "How dare you. Shirou made that lunch for me!" The blonde haired woman took one step forward before swinging her gold sword at the pale woman. "Excalibur!"

A blade of light cut through the air and pulverized Conversation, resulting in an explosion that sent her flying. The Author clapped his hands together, "Thanks for helping out Saber."

Saber had her hand held out to the Author, clearly expecting something, "While I was exacting revenge for the lunch that I lost, I still expect compensation for this."

"Yeah, yeah. Gimme a sec." The young man wrote in his notebook once more, and a ten-thousand yen bill appeared in Saber's hand. "I swear, I don't know Shirou can afford to feed you."

With that, the sword wielding maiden passed through the portal, which closed after her. When the Author turned back around, he saw the party just standing there in stunned silence, even as people continued to scream and run from the attacking monsters, "Whoa… Author man beat her in one turn! He's gotta be like, uber OP or something!"

The Author looked over the party for a moment, "What are you all still doing standing around? Get with the monster slaying already!"

After a few minutes of fighting off the monsters and going to get a cake, the group was finally able to enjoy to throw the birthday party. As the girls enjoyed themselves, the Author sunk into his seat. "Man… today's been one hell of a day."

Neptune came running over to the Author with a piece of his cake, the first piece at that, "Here you go, buddy boy! The first piece of your tasty looking cake."

The Author set the piece of cake down on the table next to him before pulling his notebook out once more, "You know what? I'm in a good mood. Since you guys were nice enough to celebrate my birthday, I'm gonna let you see something that all of our readers want to see. The future content of this story. Just don't show it to anyone."

Neptune was jumping up and down in excitement. "Really? Can I? Goody!"

The group turned to look at Neptune, who now held the notebook in her hands. The purple haired girl was skimming through the book, her facial expressions changing from time to time. When she got to the last part of the notebook, her face was beat red.

It was at that point that the Author took the book back from her. "Oh, and don't tell anyone what you just saw, either."

The purplenette went over to Heero and latched onto his arm, "Don't worry. I won't tell anybody."

Heero looked at the Neptune questioningly, "And just what are you happy about?"

Neptune had a broad smile on her face. "Oh, y'know. Just thinkin' about you and me… and being alone… doing stuff together... Stuff that boys and girls do when no one else is around..."

A sigh passed through the Author's lips as he looked at the purplenette, "You are so not writing another bonus chapter..." Pulling out the script Neptune had written, the young man noticed that Neptune had designed the chapter so that the party would immediately be transported back to Lowee for story reasons. "...What a load of bull. She could at least make an effort. I guess I can let it slide... this time."

Xxx

Me: "I don't even know why we posted this chapter. It doesn't make any sense to me."

Heero and Neptune: (Enter ACCC from Lounge) "Because the readers wanted a chapter from the pretty and totally amazing heroine of the story."

Me: "And just how do you know that?"

Neptune: "Because I'M the heroine! I just know this stuff!"

Lady White Heart: (Enters ACCC from Break Room) "This chapter may have just made some of our readers as dumb as you!"

Lady Black Heart: (Enters ACCC from Lounge) "What will our readers think after this?!"

Me: "I don't think they're really supposed to be thinking much of anything during this chapter. Personally, I find it to be nonsensical. If they get something out of it, then kudos to them. Oh, and as of the time of this posting, you're one day late."

Lady Green Heart: (Enters ACCC from Break Room) "If Neptune is allowed to write one of these, then shouldn't the rest of be given the same courtesy?"

Me: "I never gave her permission to write this. Anyway, Neptune, you're not writing any bonus chapter again."

Neptune: "And what if I readers want me to write more? You gonna tell them you Nep-proofed the office?"

Me: "...I'll consider it. IF they actually like this… thing you call a bonus chapter." (Turns to readers) "If you have made it this far, then I congratulate you on actually making it here with all your mental faculties intact. Please read and review this very questionable chapter, and we'll see you all in the next update… I need some soda."

Me, Heero, Neptune, Lady Black Heart, Lady White Heart and Lady Green Heart: (Leave ACCC through Left Entrance)
