Amicus clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth. He watched as Metallia continued to talk with Viscole. He knew the woman was someone who constantly continued to interest him. She looked around with the ability of someone who constantly had control of the situation. She acted like a demon queen.
'This woman is the first witch to have the gall to pull me from the depths of the underworld. She's also the first one to be overflowing with mana. Who is she? She's a very powerful witch, but I have no idea who she is. Why is such a powerful witch trapped in this swamp? Did a rival trap her here?' Amicus thought to himself.
He shelved these ideas as he did so. There was time to focus upon that later. For now? they had plenty of war to wage, plenty of conquest to be done before the day was over and done. Would they be prepared for it? Would they rise to the challenge at the end of the day?
"Master, with all due interest?" Amicus questioned while he pointed towards the swamp. "We still have to plant flowers, remember? For your spell?" Amicus said, gesturing towards the edge of the swamp.
Metallia watched Amicus nod towards the recesses of the area. The unspoken message he was giving her echoed loud and clear. He wanted her to deal with the pillars, she was dying slowly, after all.
Amicus clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth as he did so. There was plenty of work to be shared.
"Yeah, go plant the pretty plants, Amicus." Metallia said, watching as Amicus snorted, his face contorting into a hellish sneer. "I still have some business to handle, I'm sure that you can handle yourself, right?" Metallia questioned to which Amicus turned, rolling his eyes as he did so.
He knew very much that she wanted to rub her power in his face. It made him realize that he was quite annoyed by this gesture and remember that she was still the one trying to hold the leash rather than allow him to have any small amount of power.
'Bah, I'll come back when I bloom the blasted thing. Where is my brother?' Amicus thought to himself as he shook his head.
He put a pair of fingers to his head and concentrated, letting his brother's energy reach out to him. If they weren't confined to the swamp? They'd be far strong enough to conquer this planet… But he supposed it made sense for Metallia to think about how much dangerous it would be if he didn't have a leash holding him back from hurting her at the end of the day.
He hummed to himself, unsure of how much they could keep this plan running. It was quite clear sooner or later they'd run into another witch.
"I have to find my sibling, master. Excuse me." Amicus said before exiting the cottage and walking outside a few moments later. "Blast that confounded witch to the ends of the planet, I'm annoyed she seems to think it's so easy to think about violence like this." Amicus said, rubbing at his temples.
He set off into the swamp, pausing only to look around with interest at the various plants and animals surrounding him. This place felt more and more like a zoo the more he thought about it.
He spun his scythe, energy glistening through the air as he did so. He continued to sprint through the trees and puddles that surrounded him, magic coursing through his artificial body, he felt powerful here.
'Did she put her power into the swamp? I can feel her power seeping through everything and every single plant in this place. I cannot tell what is and what isn't part of the swamp. She's a powerful witch, it just adds to the mystery she's placed on me and my brother at the end of the road, I need to figure out what her goal is with this sort of power.' Amicus thought as he leapt into a tree, looking down.
He could feel his brother in this swamp. This entire place coursed with magic; it was so surprising to him… But then again? He shouldn't have been, this world was old, his appearance here was rifle with new sensations and constant auras.
"This world is quite new when I think about it." Amicus muttered as he brought a hand to his temples. "I feel like I've se en plenty of things…. Are they visions? Something new? A spell? I don't know what will happen next." Amicus stated to which he hummed and blinked, tapping his head.
"There has to be something I'm missing." Amicus stated while he brought a hand to his head to think about what happened next. "Ugh, I don't understand what was going to happen next." Amicus added, turning to think when he looked around.
"Grrmm!" Amicus heard, causing him to rush into the swamp water. "BROOOL!" Amicus also heard from the Hundred Knight.
He blinked, shocked as to hearing his brother around him. He sniffed the air, curious when it comes down to it. His eyes narrowed, there was only one stench that could produce such a smell to him when it came down to it.
"Foreign magic. There are more witch soldiers from other kingdoms here." Amicus stated, rushing through the water.
More witch soldiers began to rush towards him. Amicus raised his scythe, eager to cut through them like they were grains of salt. It amused him far more, he greeted them, like any good demon king would do.
Amicus hummed, dodging a blade that would have cut through his throat. He was quite eager to cut them down, fighting them all if he had to. He swung, throwing a tree like beast backwards. Amicus blocked the blade from another and shook his head, spinning his scythe and then started backpedaling.
"You will be destroyed, one by one." Amicus stated to himself. "I will cut you down if you do not believe." Amicus hissed, his mana pulsing through his body, eager to cut through them.
Amicus sighed to himself, looking at the dozens of monsters who began to set in. How did they get here? Where did they come from? Amicus planned to left one alive. Metallia could probably coax one of them to reveal their secrets.
"Brother, where are you?" Amicus questioned to himself, brushing off his arms. "Where are you? Tell me?" Amicus stated to the trees, blocking another monster when he thought about it.
He flew backwards, his wings flapping as he did so. He broke his scythe in half once more, swinging the weapons as he did so. Amicus was quite hopeful that he was going to greet his brother sooner than later. Whoever these witch soldiers were? They had made the mistake of going up after his brother when he thought about it. There were many thoughts on his own mind until then, Amicus sighed, curious about a great many things.
He was sent flying backwards. His wings trying to throw himself back into the fight and it came down to it? Amicus was sighing, shaking his head up and down. Amicus looked at the swarm of monsters.
"Hmm, where is there boss?" Amicus questioned, brushing off his robes. "Where? I know these swarms all have a boss; they always have a commander who guides them." Amicus questioned, scanning the swarm of monsters.
"I cannot believe these creates are even here." Amicus stated to himself, one of the creatures leaping at him. "I must destroy them; I must find my brother." Amicus added, bringing up his scythe to parry the hit.
There was a clash of sparks before he spun, sawing the creature in two, greenish black blood spilled into the chest high swamp water. He chuckled, his cloak billowing as he did so. Amicus looked around the swamp, eager to reunite with his brother.
Amicus was quite hopeful his brother was happy. Amicus let out a yawn, breath staining the ground under him. Amicus watched another knight like creature leap down towards him. Amicus was happy when it came down to it.
"GREEE!" Amicus heard as he looked over his shoulder, his eyes narrowing in rage. "SCREE!" Amicus also heard as a sword was thrown towards him.
The blade slammed into one of the knights, throwing it back into the water. It looked around in agony, its breath screeching into the forest, hopeful to see someone come and save it.
