A/N: Welcome back to Save The Last Dance! Apologies for this one taking as long as it did, but I hope you enjoy Chapter 13 - Brightest Spark.

Chapter 13 - Brightest Spark

Scott's Studio

"And stop!" Umi called out, causing the group to sigh, as they all collapsed to the floor, except for a couple members, those being Adam, Jamie, Erena, Umi and Eli. Looking to their fallen partners, these 5 were all, unbeknownst to the others, thinking the same thing; "Amateurs."

"I see what Honoka was talking about. This is tough!" Anju whined, massaging her foot, as she had felt a cramp creeping up on her during the practice they had just finished. "See? Umi's a demon drill sergeant!" The ginger-haired leader of μ's stated, causing her blue-haired friend to glare at her. "What was that?" Umi asked, her voice adopting a dangerous tone. "Ah!" Honoka cried, causing the group to laugh.

"Alright, Umi, settle down. I'm sure Honoka didn't mean anything other than the practice takes a lot out of her." Adam said, placing a hand on the girl's shoulder, before looking over to Honoka. "Right?" He asked. Looking at him confused, Honoka saw him subtly wink to her. "Oh, right!" She said, after catching onto his intention. "'Course that's what I meant." She stated, getting an eye roll from Umi.

"Adam, you know as well as I do that if we don't push them, they won't improve." μ's lyricist said, causing the Militia's leader to nod. "Fair point, but look." He replied, gesturing over to the 4 other members of the Militia, who were all splayed out on the ground. "Normally, they can more than keep up with the practice, but now even they're knackered." Sighing, Umi said, "Fine. Take 10 minutes, then we'll discuss our next step.", which drew a smirk from Adam. "Alright, you heard the woman! 10 minutes!" He called out to the hall.

Immediately, every member of the group ran to get themselves a bottle of water.

A few minutes later...

"Something you wanna share, Honoka?" Adam asked, as μ's leader burst out laughing at something on her phone. "Sorry, it's just, look at this." The ginger replied, passing the device to him. As the rest of the group gathered round, they saw on the screen, two younger girls, one with brown hair and the other blonde.

"Yukiho and Alisa?" Eli asked, making Adam look to her. "Hang on, Alisa? As in your sister?" He asked, making Eli nod. "And Yukiho's my sister." Honoka piped up. "Ahh, I see." Adam stated, before pressing the play button on the loaded video. To their amazement, the two younger girls began to move in tune to music that began to play.

"Yeah, I remember you saying that Yukiho had agreed to help Alisa form an idol group." Kotori said to Honoka, who smiled, before the phone in Adam's hand buzzed. Looking down, the black-clad street dancer saw that his friend had received another message.

"They're asking for help." He said, which made Honoka furrow her eyebrows. "What do you mean?" She asked, as Adam passed the phone back to her. "Don't know. That's all she said. But I'll tell you what; How 'bout you bring them here, and we can see what they can do?" He asked, causing Honoka's eyes to widen. "You sure?" She asked, getting a nod in response. "Yeah. Who knows, they might benefit from the perspective of a street dancer." He explained, before μ's leader nodded.

"Alright..." She said, holding up her phone, "I'll give her a call."

Half an hour later...

"Alright, guys." Honoka said to the Militia and A-RISE, drawing the attention of the two groups. "This is my younger sister, Yukiho." She continued, gesturing to the girl standing beside her, who bowed to the group. "It's an honour to meet you all at last. My sister talks about you a lot." She said, making the older dancers smile. "Please, Miss Yukiho, the honour is ours." Tsubasa said, getting a smile from the brown-haired girl. "Please, call me Yukiho. Any friend of my sister's a friend of mine." She replied, getting smiles from the rest of the group. "Long as you return the favour with us, Yukiho." Riddick piped up, getting a grin from Honoka's sister. "Deal." Yukiho stated, as she began to shake the hands of each of the dancers.

"And this is Alisa, my sister." Eli stated, gesturing to the smaller blonde situated beside her, who bowed to her seniors. "It's nice to meet you all! Well, those of you I don't already know, but..." She said, before shooting an uneasy look to the Robertson brothers, more specifically Jamie, who smiled. "Good to see you again, Alisa." He said, bowing his head to her, causing Alisa to shoot a quizzical look to Eli, who smiled gently at her. "I never told you? Jamie and I decided to give our relationship another chance." The elder sister explained, causing her sibling's eyes to widen, before she returned her gaze to Jamie. "In that case, it's good to see you too, Jamie." She said with a wide smile, which Jamie returned, before Adam cleared his throat.

"Right, we should move onto why we called you both here." Umi stated, drawing Yukiho and Alisa's attention to her. "You sent a message to Honoka asking her for help, right?" She asked, making the two younger girls exchange a look, before they both nodded.

"We want to be a group like yours, but we don't have the numbers or the skill to dance like you lot. So, we wanted to ask if you could teach us." Yukiho explained. "You want to street dance?" Riddick asked, causing Yukiho to hesitantly nod. "Based on μ's performance at Love Live! with the Militia, as well as the showcase, street dance adds a layer of spectacle to a performance. We don't want to get left behind." She explained, before her sister placed a hand on her shoulder.

"What d'you think, Adam?" Honoka asked, before the Militia's leader stepped forward, and began to scrutinize the two younger girls. "Two things; 1st, you don't need numbers. One street dancer would be more than enough." He stated, causing Yukiho and Alisa to nod. "And two..." He continued, before straightening back up with a sad smile.

"I'm sorry, but you're not physically capable of street dancing." He said, which caused an uproar for a second, before he held up a hand. "Before you all blow up at me, let me explain." He ordered, as the group quietened down. "My assessment was based solely on physique. I did the same thing when Hanayo asked me to train her. Look at these two, then look at the Militia and the idols that are training in street dancing." He suggested, gesturing to the wannabe idols. Looking to the two groups, the rest of his friends could see his point. When compared to μ's or A-RISE, the two of them were clearly nowhere near the required level of physicality.

"They could adopt a stricter training regimen." Eli suggested, which made Adam look at her, one eyebrow raised. "True, but not in time for a performance, which I'm assuming they'll want to do soon." He stated, before he looked to Yukiho. "Tell you what, I'll give you a chance. Either of you pass a little challenge, and I'll retract my previous statement. How's that sound?" He asked, causing Yukiho to look to her partner, who nodded to her.

"Alright. What do you want us to do?" She asked, looking Adam in the eye. Smirking, Adam turned round to look at his fellow street dancers. "Maki, could you give me a hand with this?" He asked, getting a nod from the red-headed member of μ's as she walked over.

"Alright, girls, here's what I want you to do." Adam stated, before gesturing over to the wall. "Simply perform a handstand against that wall. Last one to drop wins. If it's one of you two, I'll train them to street dance. If it's Maki, my assessment is proven right. Sound like a fair deal?" He explained, causing the three idols to nod, before they walked over to the wall. "And Maki, don't you go easy on them, you hear me?" Adam asked of his red-haired partner, who nodded. "Don't worry. I play for keeps." She stated, before looking to the other two girls.

"Ready?" She asked, getting a pair of nods from the two girls, who gave her a determined look. "Alright, then. Let's do this." She continued, before all three of them placed their hands on the floor, then used their strength to push their feet off the ground and plant them on the wall. In a matter of seconds, the three girls were all performing a perfect handstand. "Thank God none of them are wearing skirts." Nozomi thought to herself. "That would have been embarrassing for them."

"Alright, then. Now we wait." Adam said, clicking start on a stopwatch. "Even though this is completely rigged?" Eli asked, making Adam look to her, one eyebrow raised. "Oh, come on, Adam, I know what you're doing. You got Maki to do this because you knew if you did it yourself, you'd easily win. But even so, those two don't stand a chance." She continued, making Adam smile.

"You're partially correct, Eli. I knew I'd win if I done this, but when it comes to the street dancers in this group, Maki's by far the weakest physically." He stated, which he saw made Nico glare at him. "Before you go off on one, Nico, let me finish. Yeah, I said that Maki's the weakest street dancer, but that in no way was an insult. Look at it this way; You have the Militia, who've had 2 full years to hone our skills, Rin, whose skills in sports help her case, hell, even Erena, who's physically demanding idol training regimen made her more than capable enough for street dancing." He continued, making the specified dancers smile.

"Maki's just as good as the rest of them, but she still struggles with the training sometimes, and her endurance is the main problem. And that's what this is..." Gesturing over to the trio at the wall, Adam finished with, "A test of endurance. I didn't rig it, Eli. I gave them the best chance they're gonna get." After a few seconds, Eli relented. "I suppose you raise a valid point." The blonde sighed, making the leader of the Militia smile. "If anything, I'm impressed with their performance so far." He said, causing Eli to look to him as he held up the stopwatch.

"They've been going for almost three minutes." He said, before looking to the three challengers. "You all good?" He called over. "Yeah, no sweat!" Maki said confidently, even as Adam could see her arms beginning to shake. "Yukiho?" He asked, moving onto Honoka's sister, who nodded. "I'm good!" She said, albeit with sweat beginning to form on her forehead. "She might actually pull it off." Jamie said, making Adam look to him briefly, before he turned his gaze to the last participant in his little 'challenge'.

"Alisa?" He asked, causing the blonde girl to nod shakily, as the rest of the group could see she was shaking the worst. "I..." She started to say, before she pushed herself away from the wall, and collapsed to the floor. "I can't!" She gasped, as her older sister ran over to her, a bottle of water in her hand. "It's okay, Alisa. You tried your best." Eli said, just before Adam stood up and walked over to the two blondes. "She's right, you know." He said, drawing Alisa's attention.

"You should be proud of your efforts. Three and a half minutes is nothing to scoff at." The Militia's leader continued, causing the younger Ayase sibling to smile. "Thank you, Adam. That means a lot." She said, before taking a drink from her water.

"So it's just Maki and Yukiho left." Umi stated, causing Adam to nod. "Yep. And if that's any indicator..." He replied, pointing to the arms of the pair, which were shaking violently, "We're in the endgame." However, it was immediately after he said this, that the next person pushed themselves off the wall, followed close behind by the winner, who seamlessly rolled backwards to her feet, and began to massage her aching arms.

"Well fought..." Adam stated, walking over to the 2nd place competitor, and holding out a hand to her, "Yukiho." Smiling, the younger Kosaka took his hand, and allowed herself to be pulled to her feet. "Thanks, Adam." She said, before looking to Maki, giving her a smile.

"Congratulations, Maki." She said, causing the redhead in question to return the smile. "You almost had me, Yukiho. Well done." She replied, which made the rest of the group smile to themselves, at least until Adam spoke up.

"So, you see my point now, you two?" He asked, causing the two newcomers to nod sadly. "Hey, less of that." He said, making the two look at him, confusion evident in the look they gave him. "No looking depressed. In fact, you should be proud of how you two performed. You were up against a trained dancer, who's had practice in improving her endurance, and you managed to give her a run for her money." He continued, making Maki smile as she nodded in agreement.

"He's right, you know." She said, which only made the two wannabe idols sigh. "So, what would you suggest we do?" Alisa asked, getting a small smirk from Adam. "Well, at this stage, there's two viable options. 1, you two work on improving your stamina until you can outlast Maki..." He started, gesturing to the redhead, "Or, you recruit a street dancer to your group." This made Yukiho and Alisa's faces fall.

"We've asked all around, but nobody wants to join us. At least nobody who's willing, or able, to street dance." said Alisa, which made Adam smile again. "Well, what if I told you I know someone who could fill the role you're after? One who's your age, a street dancer, and is actually starting their first year at Otonokizaka the same time as you?" He asked, which drew the group's attention.

"And where did you find this one, bro?" Jamie asked. "Danced against her a while ago, and while I won in the end, she impressed me. So, I gave her my number and have been training her from time to time. And last I heard from her, she was still a solo dancer." His little brother explained, which made the Militia members look to each other.

"Hold up. She impressed you? This chick's gotta be a pretty dope dancer!" Riddick exclaimed, only for his leader to chuckle in response. "Better than dope, Quake. Tell you what..." He said, drawing his phone out of his pocket...

"Let me give her a call, and she'll show you what she's got."

Half an hour later...

"KNOCK, KNOCK!"

"That'll be her." Adam stated, as he withdrew his arm from Nozomi's shoulder, and stood up. "Oh, c'mon, I was comfy." Nozomi groaned, getting to her feet with the rest of the group as they watched Adam head to the door. As he opened it, his smile widened. "Glad you could make it on such short notice." He stated, getting a huff from the one at the door.

"Let's cut to the chase, Mentor. Why am I here?" An aggressive sounding voice demanded, which made the rest of Adam's friends shoot a look of concern to each other, but the boy in question? Well, he simply smiled wider. "Come on in, and I'll tell you." He said, stepping to the side and gesturing the newcomer in. Scoffing, the unseen individual stepped over the threshold of the door, revealing themselves to be a young black-haired girl, clad in a blue denim jacket, a dark blue vest, black tracksuit trousers & black trainers.

"Guys..." Adam said to the room at large as he shut the door, before gesturing to the new girl. "This is Ayaka Takahito." Scoffing, the girl in question lifted her head up. "What's up?" She asked, even though everyone knew it was a rhetorical question.

"Ayaka, this is the crew I told you about, made up of..." "I know who they are, Mentor. I saw your performance at that contest. Love Live!, right?" Ayaka cut in, interrupting Adam, who nodded. "Alright then. Let's see what you got." He stated, gesturing to the group at large while leaning against the wall. "Alright." Ayaka replied, looking away from him.

"Otonokizaka's idol group, μ's..." She started, looking to the 9 idols in question, who smiled as they nodded. "The Militia, your own dance crew, now students of Otonokizaka..." Again, another group of nods. "And UTX's own idol group, A-RISE, who won the previous year's Love Live!" She finished, with smiles coming from the trio in question.

"You've done your homework, Miss Takahito." said Carlisle, which made Ayaka smirk. "'Course I have. Mentor told me to keep up to date with the dance scene. And turns out, your three crews here have been making quite a few waves." She stated, which made the group look to each other in confusion. Even Adam looked at her with one eyebrow raised. "You're seriously telling me that you lot don't read the news?" She asked, before reaching into her jacket's inside pocket, retrieving a magazine, which she then passed to Adam. "Well, how 'bout that?" He asked, seeing the headline under the pictures he saw of himself, Honoka and Tsubasa;

"NEW PARTNERSHIP TO DOMINATE IDOL WORLD?:"

"Page 5." Ayaka said, which made Adam flick past a couple of advertisements to the page in question, before beginning to read out loud...

After their landslide victory at the Love Live! competition, Otonokizaka's very own idol group, μ's, has reportedly partnered up with the infamous group of street dancers known as the Militia, judging by the fact that both groups have been seen attending school together. After approaching said school's principal, Yoshie Minami (mother of μ's co-founder Kotori Minami) for a word on the subject, she said the following;

"As you know, Otonokizaka was in danger of closing its doors before μ's came together to save it. During this time, I suggested an idea of making the school co-ed, however, no male students would consider enrolling. It was only after I witnessed the Militia's performance alongside my students that I offered them spots at my school, due to my having previous history with the mother of Adam & Jamie Robertson, the Militia's leading members."

When asked for clarification on this, Miss Minami refused to comment further. However, she did elaborate on the relationship between μ's and the Militia.

"It is true that the two groups have come together in a partnership of sorts. After they won Love Live!, what I heard from my daughter is that the leaders of both groups agreed to merge their groups for future performances. That is why they performed together at that showcase."

"And what of their rumoured partnership with UTX idol group, A-RISE? Could you give a word about that?" our interviewer proceeded to ask.

"Well, if they have decided to partner up with A-RISE, I haven't heard anything about it. Either it's not true, or they have been keeping it extremely quiet." Yoshie explained.

"And if it is true?" We then asked.

"Then I would give it my full blessing. These 3 groups, μ's, the Militia and A-RISE, they are all talented dancers. And if reaching new heights means merging their groups together, then I'd say go for it." Yoshie said.

"Last question; There have been rumours of romantic relationships between members of μ's, but also those of certain members with the Militia. Would you know anything about those?"

"Well, I'm afraid I'm going to have to say 'no comment'. While I of course take an above-average interest in these dancers, due to the fact my daughter is part of the group, I refuse to pry into their personal matters. I can tell you this, though; If you wish to know the answer to this question, feel free to ask them. Chances are they'll be more than willing to tell you. However, if your publication decides to slander any of them, I will be taking action to protect them. They are my students, after all."

So there you have it, folks. While the rumours of μ's and the Militia partnering up seem to be true, whether or not they are partnered with A-RISE, as well as any romantic relationships, are still up in the air. While our team will continue to cover this group's progress, we implore you all to heed Miss Minami's words; If there turns out to be romantic relationships in this group, don't use this information as slander against them. These are still human beings, after all.

"Well, that was certainly unexpected." Anju said, as Adam closed the magazine and passed it back to Ayaka. "Lucky, you mean. But then again, we've got family on our side." The Militia's leader replied, looking to Kotori, to whom he shot a smile. "Could you pass along our thanks?" He asked, getting a nod from the ashen-haired girl. "Sure." She replied.

"So, getting back on topic, what's the deal with calling me here? Surely it wasn't just to update you all on the latest dance news?" Ayaka questioned, causing Adam to smile. "Ah, right." He started, before gesturing over to the last two girls that hadn't been introduced. "You see, these two here are trying to make a dance group similar to ours, but they need a street dancer. I thought you'd be a good fit." One eyebrow raised, Ayaka turned to look at Yukiho and Alisa.

"You're Yukiho Kosaka, younger sister to μ's leader, Honoka..." She started, getting a nod from the younger Kosaka sister, who bowed to her. "I-it's nice to meet you." She stammered out, which made Ayaka's eyebrow raise a tad higher, before she looked at Alisa.

"And you're Alisa Ayase, younger sister to μ's choreographer, Eli Ayase." She stated, causing the younger blonde to nod. "Yes, I am. It's a pleasure to meet you." Alisa replied, which made even Ayaka smirk. "Sure." She said, having expected the blonde to be intimidated by her.

"So, you two want to form an idol group? And you want me to join it?" She continued to ask the pair, who nodded. "Well, I ain't a singer, so that'll have to be a 'no' from me." At this, the pair's faces fell, at least until Adam came up and placed a hand on Ayaka's shoulder.

"You wouldn't have to be a singer, Ayaka. At least, not right away. I called you here so they could see what you can do. And remember what I told you the night we met." He stated, which made Ayaka sigh. "'If you want to grow as a dancer, don't be afraid to embrace new styles.'" She recited, causing Adam to smile gently at her as he nodded.

"Ugh, fine." She groaned, shrugging off her jacket. "Just...don't expect much, alright?" She asked Yukiho and Alisa, who nodded. "Alright. Hit it." She stated to Adam, who nodded to his brother. Silently, Jamie hit play on the music player, before the entire group stepped back to give Ayaka space.

"HOLD MY SAUCE:"

"Hold my sauce

Haters loss

I'm a boss

Diamonds clear like Voss

What's the price?

Private flight

Outta sight

And I'm dripped up right"

As Ayaka tossed her jacket to the side, she began to slowly move her body around, to limber up. Stepping over to Adam as she tied her hair up into a ponytail, she asked, quietly enough for just him to hear, "You're sure these two are worth it?" This caused Adam to smirk. Looking to her, he leant down and replied, "Only one way to find out."

Sighing at this, Ayaka swiftly took a couple of steps past him, which confused the rest of the group watching, only for them to be shocked when she spun and ran towards them. Ducking down, the young woman placed her head on the floor and lifted her legs off the floor as she shot forward. "Whoa!" Rin exclaimed, as she and the rest of the group all took a step back, before Ayaka used her hands to flip back onto her feet, just as the song entered its first verse.

"What's the price

Like a hunnid' K

Dunkin' 'em up like a runaway

My diamonds shine when the sun away

Hold my sauce (hold it)

Nibba you can tell by the watch (hey)

All y'all haters gone talk (facts)

Tays so tired of my cough (*cough*)

One hand Randy Moss (dab)

Never gon' take a loss (no)

Never gon' spill my sauce (hold it up)

Last round I'm a boss"

Immediately, Ayaka began to move her feet rapidly, however, she somehow managed to remain in place. "Just like when Adam showed A-RISE what he could do." Honoka caught herself thinking, shooting a look to the Militia's leader, who'd simply crossed his arms, smiling like a proud father at Ayaka as she spun in place multiple times, before she stuck one leg from herself, then twisted her upper body like a snake to follow it, coming to a stop in front of Yukiho.

"Hold my sauce

Haters loss

I'm a boss

Diamonds clear like Voss

What's the price?

Private flight

Outta sight

And I'm dripped up right"

"Not bad." Jamie stated, as Ayaka held up a hand to Yukiho, one eyebrow raised. Clasping the hand firmly, Yukiho, as well as Alisa, was surprised when the black-haired girl fell into the floor in a perfect split, then shot back up to her feet. "Whoa!" Eli gasped in surprise. "She's flexible. Probably even more so than me." She thought, an impressed smirk creeping onto her face.

Releasing Yukiho's hand, Ayaka launched herself into what seemed at first glance to be a backflip, only to throw her hands out and push herself back up. Instead of landing on her feet, however, she began to spin her legs round each other quickly, twisting her body to follow them, amazing those watching with her speed. "Impressive..." Umi breathed out, as the street dancer brought her legs down to the floor, whilst spinning back to her feet. Finally, the black-haired young woman brought her arms to one side, then threw them to the side, using her body weight to make herself spin rapidly to her knees, fast enough that for a few seconds, she was nothing but a blur. After this, she shot her hands out to halt her spin, coming to a complete stop at the same time as the music.

For a few seconds, Ayaka was silent, as she lightly panted to regain her breath, before the sound of somebody clapping caused her to look up, to see that Yukiho and Alisa had been the ones to start, followed closely behind by the rest of the group. Blushing bright red, Ayaka slowly got to her feet, and picked up her jacket. Noticing this, Adam looked to Yukiho and Alisa.

"Well, what d'you two think?" He asked, causing the two in question to smile widely. "That was incredible, Miss Takahito!" Alisa said, causing Ayaka to sigh and look to her. "Call me Ayaka. I'm not your senior." She said quietly, looking down at the floor to hide her blush. That was, at least, until she saw a hand entering her field of vision. Looking up, the black-haired street dancer saw that it was Yukiho who had extended a hand to her.

"We won't force you, Ayaka. But I do think that your skills in street dancing are exactly what we need to shine as idols. Would you please join us?" Honoka's sister asked, which made Ayaka stiffen. "I..." She started, looking towards Adam slightly, then back down to the floor. "I'm not able to pull off this 'pure' image other idols can. No one would like me." She said, which made Nozomi's eyes widen. Unbeknownst to everyone else, she had caught the look Ayaka had given Adam, and things had instantly clicked in her head. "She's in love with him. Or at the very least, she's got a crush on him. Can't say I blame her." She thought.

"That's not true!" Alisa suddenly exclaimed, causing Ayaka to jump in surprise. "I think you're pretty enough to pull it off, Ayaka!" She continued, which made Ayaka blush again.

"And it's not just their support you'd have..." Jamie's voice started, making Ayaka look over to the side, where she saw the rest of the group smiling at her. "All of us would back you up." He finished, which made Ayaka smile, before she looked to Adam again, who shrugged.

"This is your choice to make, Ayaka. You know we've all got your back. But, are you gonna take the first step?" The Militia's leader asked, causing the young woman to take a deep breath, before she straightened up and looked Yukiho dead in the eyes. Silently, she reached out and took the younger Kosaka's hand in a firm but gentle grip.

"I'm in." She said. "Hope I live up to your expectations." This made Yukiho and Alisa smile widely, as they nodded to their new partner. "You already have, Ayaka. I can see Adam's faith in you wasn't misplaced." Yukiho said, which made her new partner look to the boy in question, her face bright red. "Dammit, Adam, why do you make it so easy to love you?" She thought, just before her brow furrowed.

"Actually, I gotta ask..." She started, looking back to her partners, "You got a practice space? Be kinda pointless to join a group and not have somewhere to work." This made the other two girls stiffen. "You don't, do you?" Now, the colour was draining from the faces of the two other idols.

"You can practice here. Least until you get a more permanent venue." A voice said from the side, drawing the attention of the room at large. Whirling round, everyone could see Scott leaning against the wall, arms crossed.

"Oh yeah..." Adam started, looking to the new trio. "Ladies, this is Scott Johnston, AKA Monitor. He's the DJ that sorts out the Militia's music." He continued, gesturing to the man in question, who bowed his head to the three girls. "A pleasure." He said.

"You sure it won't be an imposition for us to practice here?" Yukiho asked of Scott, who nodded. "Plenty of rooms. All I'll ask of you in return is that you clean up any mess you make. Same thing I ask of this lot." He replied, gesturing to the group of older dancers. "No need to worry 'bout that. I'm not my sister after all." Yukiho said, which made the room at large burst out laughing, as Honoka pouted. "Yukiho!" She groaned, which drew another laugh from the room.

"Anyways..." Ayaka began, looking to Yukiho and Alisa, only to see the pair bowing to her.

"We look forward to working with you!" They said at the same time. Taken off-guard for a second, Ayaka eventually composed herself, and bowed to her new partners. "Same. Let's...do our best, alright?" She replied. Unbeknownst to the trio, Adam had leant over to Tsubasa and Honoka, and whispered something to them, which drew wide smiles, as well as nods, from the pair.

"Here's an idea..." Tsubasa called out, drawing the new group's attention. "Why don't you debut at the concert we're putting on? Would certainly leave an impression." She suggested, making a tense silence occur for a couple of seconds...

"HUH?!" The three younger idols all exclaimed at the same time.

A/N: And I hope you enjoyed this chapter! Again, I hope you can forgive me for taking so long with this one, and I hope you look forward to Chapter 14 - Birth Of Something New.

Madman out!
