Sorry for the long, long wait. I haven't had inspiration in a while, and I'm not a big fan of forcing myself to write when I don't want to. That usually results in a worse chapter than otherwise.

This chapter gets very explicit! Smutty, even! You have been warned. Or promised, depending on how you look at it.

After school ended for the day, Izuku was walking with Uraraka and Todoroki on the wide path through the campus grounds that led toward Class A and B's dorm buildings. Up ahead, in the midst of a few other B students, he saw a head of long silky black hair. The back of his girlfriend.

Izuku sped up to intercept her. "Yui, there you are." He put a hand on her shoulder. "I was thinking if you wanted, we could go work out for a bit before Tokage's…" She turned around, and Izuku cut himself off. His intuition hiccuped.

Her face is neutral but for a moment it looked…

"Is something wrong?" he muttered.

Yui bit her lip, her mask slipping for a moment, and her eyes darted to his friends, who'd stopped just behind him.

"We'll go on ahead," said Todoroki, nodding to Uraraka. "Later, Midoriya."

"Bye Deku. Kodai." Appearing concerned, the brunette turned away from them reluctantly and kept on toward the dorms.

Izuku looked back at Yui, the two of them standing alone now on the side of the path, a few other students walking past them but caught up in their own chatter.

"Did something happen?" he asked her.

Yui's eyes shimmered. "How did you…I can't tell if you are reading me well or if I am making myself too easily read." She laughed, but it was not a happy sound.

"I'd like you to feel as if you can be easily read. I'd like you to be comfortable as yourself. Is that what this is about?"

"No." Yui shook her head. "I'm frustrated."

"Why?"

"I suck at fighting," she said bluntly.

"Yui…that's not true. The fight with Bakugo…"

"Was a fluke. It won't happen again." Yui's face twitched. "My brain won't let it. I'm in my own way."

"What brought this on?"

"Exercise today." She hugged herself about the chest. Izuku wanted to hug her himself, but there were so many people around and he hesitated. "I got destroyed. Eliminated basically immediately."

Why can't I just hug her? Agh, I'm a bad boyfriend, I just need to… "Why don't we go inside?"

Yui nodded, and the two of them walked awkwardly together toward the dorm. She was still holding herself, looking more and more sickly by the second, so Izuku took her by the hand and hurried her along, out of the open area.

Izuku looked between their two buildings, and realized that no matter which one they went into, they would probably be people who would bother them. For a moment, his frustration at everything and everyone around him just kind of…boiled over, and he swore aloud. "Fuck this."

He grabbed Yui about the waist and activated One for All.

Yui gasped, the green lightning erupting around the two of them as he leapt into the sky. A blast of wind whooshed up with them.

Izuku landed on the balcony of his room, on the outside of the Class A building, and set her down, his Quirk - and the wind - dying with a fading sound.

Yui swayed, unsteady. Izuku stepped away from her and opened the balcony door, escorting her into his room.

"What if someone saw that?" she asked.

"I don't really care at this point."

She stepped into his room, and he closed the door behind them, then drew the curtains. It was dark, so he crossed the room and turned the light on. Privacy at last.

"What happened in the exercise exactly?"

Yui shrugged miserably. "I ran from Fukidashi-san. He chased me out of a building. I walked right into Honenuki's quicksand and got stuck there."

Izuku stopped to think for a second. He sat down on his bed while she remained standing. "Do you want to look back at the exercise footage? Vlad King has probably put it on your class's shared cloud folder by now-"

"No. No, I don't want to look at it."

"Yui, I think you just got unlucky. Believe me when I say th-that…" Izuku swallowed. He was still so unused to being the one to give other people advice. But that's part of being a hero too. Even if I don't believe good things about myself, I should make other people believe those same things about themselves. "You can't get in your own way, Yui. Don't take this to heart."

"And how am I supposed to do that?" The slightest sharp edge had entered her tone.

"Ah." Izuku's mouth went dry, and he paled. He was afraid all of a sudden. Afraid he'd done something to upset her. He retreated back on the bed a bit. "Erm…"

Yui noticed, and relaxed her arms with a sigh, hanging her head. "I'm sorry, Izuku. I know you are just trying to help." She stared at him with eyes full of emotion. "I don't want to be in my own head all the time."

"M-maybe it would help if you…if you did vent your frustrations…" Izuku kept his volume low. "I mean. I'm no expert or anything. But it might go a long way toward getting you…out of your own head. As you say."

"But you deserve better than to be on the receiving end of all that."

"I am your boyfriend." Izuku sat up straight, finding his courage again. Finding what felt like the right thing to say. "That's why I'm here."

Yui's facial expression flooded with subtle affection. She sat down next to him and collapsed against him. His arms went around her. They sat there quietly for a minute. How nice it is to be here, he reflected. Outside, I have to be a hero, a student, a friend, a successor, and so much else. It was only in moments like this, with her, where he truly felt relaxed anymore. Away from all the eyes and voices.

"I do not know what to do," Yui said plainly. "I don't think I can return to being satisfied with how I was before. As a hero student. But I don't know how to improve, either. I don't want to be stuck in this…loop of negativity."

"You practice," said Izuku. "You practice and you train and you keep at it, hard. That way, when you do enter exercises or tests or even real emergencies…it feels like nothing more than…more of the same. And all that's left is routine and focus."

At least, that's the idea. Me, I'm such a nervous wreck that I can't achieve that much even in training. But she's better than me. I bet she definitely could.

"I have to drop my mask, too," she muttered.

"Hmm? I…I'm not sure what you mean by that."

"Before…before, when I was quiet around everyone. When I avoided showing my care. Before…you. I could keep the mask on because I…because I was satisfied in mediocrity. It helped me, even. It helped me slip under people's notice, which I liked because…because I didn't want another…Saya. Situation." Yui swallowed; it was clear saying this was a tremendous effort for her. "Now that I'm…different. Now that I want to be caring and helpful and…a better hero. The mask doesn't help. It just makes me…boil. On the inside. And I fear that if I explode, then it'll be in front of you."

"I see." Izuku hugged her tighter, trying his best to be supportive. "And what does dropping a mask look like?"

"We need to go to Tokage's party tonight. We need to be social."

Izuku groaned a little. He knew he'd already said yes to that, but still…

"Izuku."

"I know, I know. It's just…all the others are a lot to deal with, lately. I wish us being together hadn't changed how people treat us."

"I know what you mean," she said softly, cupping his cheek with a soft hand. "But I think we should try and have fun. It would take my mind off of all this."

"Yeah. Yeah, you're right." I need to detox, too. In the past few days, he'd snapped at Bakugo and broken a school rule in broad daylight. Maybe this hangout will be a good thing for both of us.

Night time.

Yui and Izuku walked together into a flank of woods on the UA grounds, the same place where they'd gone running. There was a flat clearing in the midst of the trees, where two curving dirt paths met. It was there that a small circle of Class B students was sitting atop a picnic blanket.

Setsuna noticed them first. "Yui! Midoriya! Come, sit down, sit down." She patted the open spot on the blanket next to her.

On her other side, Itsuka and Tetsutetsu both turned around to see them approach.

"Midoriya!"

"Hello Yui, Midoriya."

"What's up," said Honenuki. He and Reiko were sitting on the opposite side of the blanket from Setsuna. Yui and Midoriya sat down between them and her, completing the circle of seven.

"Thanks for inviting me," said Izuku. He released Yui's hand as they sat down, but she remained close to him, their sides touching.

"No worries, green." Setsuna grinned. "We figured you must be chill if you meet Yui's standards. Though Tetsutetsu has his doubts."

Izuku raised his eyebrows at the boy across from him, who held up his hands in protest. "I figured you probably were," Tetsutetsu insisted, somewhat hotly. "But, it's one thing for a guy to get as passionate as you about stuff, while it's another thing entirely to be chill."

"Hm. Well, I suppose you would be an expert on that." Izuku nodded with fake, wide-eyed seriousness.

Reiko whistled, and a few of the others laughed. Izuku allowed himself a small smirk, and felt Yui pinch him and heard her stifle a chuckle. Even Tetsutetsu grinned and averted his eyes. "Alright, alright," he muttered.

"See! I told you he's got jokes!" said Setsuna.

"Anyway," Honenuki said with a stretch, "that's probably everyone. We can start with the spread now." He gestured to the food and drink items they had on the picnic blanket.

"Wasn't Pony coming down?" Itsuka asked.

"I invited her, but she's like, super tired tonight."

Itsuka sighed. "Ah. Right then."

Reiko gave the Class B president a pointed look. "You sound relieved."

"Well, you remember what happened last time we let Pony drink." Itsuka picked up a bottle from the picnic spread.

Izuku's eyes widened. "Wait, is that alcohol?"

Setsuna and Tetsutetsu both cackled. "Yep!"

"You want some, Midoriya?"

"Uhh…" Izuku felt strange about this. "I…"

Itsuka set the bottle down. "Come on guys, you don't have to pressure him or anything."

"I didn't know there would be alcohol either, Midoriya." Honenuki seemed pensive. "How often do you guys drink?"

Tetsutetsu tapped his chin. "Well…not that often…"

"Hardly ever," Itsuka said with a sigh, brushing a strand of her hair off her face. "I wouldn't be here if we weren't capable of being responsible about it."

"It is illegal, though," said Yui, the first thing she'd said thus far. Did she know about this? Izuku wondered.

"And heroes shouldn't break the law, is that right?" Setsuna leaned forward and gave Izuku a look that made him feel not at all safe. "Listen. Midoriya, are you gonna tell on us?"

"N-no. I wouldn't do that! Though I'm not sure I can partake…what kind of alcohol is it, anyway?"

"It's vodka," said Itsuka. "We'll mix it with the orange juice and make screwdrivers." She nodded to the orange jug they had on the blanket.

"Screwdrivers?" Oh god, I'm exposing myself as such a loser, aren't I?

"It's just what they call a cocktail of vodka and orange juice," explained Honenuki. "I'll have one, Kendo."

Tetsutetsu whistled and clapped the other boy on the back. "Juzo's gonna run wild!"

"I'd like to think I will be able to keep a handle on myself."

"So, Honenuki…" Itsuka began pouring and mixing the cocktail into one of the cups they had. Izuku realized he shouldn't have been surprised. Kendo is president, yes, but she also drives a motorcycle. It's not that she's a stuck up for the rules like Iida. She's just very mature. She'll do adult things like this and have the responsibility to handle them.

"Anyone else?" the orange-haired girl asked after she handed the drink off.

"Me, me!" Setsuna raised her hand and wiggled her hips.

"I'll make my own," said Tetsutetsu. Reiko remained silent.

Yui had grabbed a donut hole out of a box, near them on the blanket, and was now chewing it pensively. She swallowed, gently grasped Izuku's arm, and said, "I'd like one, I think."

"Yoooooooo!" Setsuna hooted. Tetsutetsu laughed and clapped his hands.

Izuku looked at Yui in alarm. "Are you sure?"

Her blue eyes were daring. "If Itsuka's here, it's fine." Then, she mouthed something else just to him: loosen up, remember?

Izuku swallowed. "I'm still not…I don't know."

"Hmm. How about this, then? I know a way we can make this interesting." Setsuna's eyes were full of mischief. She took a sip of her makeshift cocktail. "We go around the circle and everyone gets asked a question. We can call it truth or dare, if you like, but more accurately, if you refuse to do whatever you're dared, or answer whatever you're asked…then you have to take a drink from the bottle."

"Spicy! I like it!" Tetsutetsu slapped a hand on his knee.

"Hmm. This is agreeable," said Reiko.

"Straight from the bottle?" Izuku asked nervously. Next to him, Yui had just taken her first sip of her cocktail, and held her head in place for a moment, blood rushing to her face as she fought to keep her eyes from watering. "I need to get better at that," she muttered, and immediately took another sip.

"Straight from the bottle," Setsuna repeated, looking Izuku dead in the eye. "Of course, you can always just do the truth or dare that's asked of you instead, and then you don't have to drink."

"Err…right. Well, I guess that makes sense. Just as long as I don't have to do anything where we…" He looked over at Yui again, who seemed overly occupied by her newfound drink.

"Oh, don't worry! No one's gonna ask anything that would infringe on a relationship!" Itsuka said. "At least, I definitely won't."

"I wouldn't do that, green." Setsuna seemed a bit contrite. "I still feel bad for making you uncomfortable the last time we played a game together. But that's what tonight is for! We're gonna make up for that and have a totally cool time, and you don't have to do anything you're uncomfortable with! You can just sit and watch the rest of us play, if you like…"

"I'm playing," said Yui. Her voice came out like a squeak, as if she was trying to hold back a belch. Izuku side-eyed her drink and noticed that it was probably already lower in the cup than it should have been. "Pace yourself," he muttered to her, patting her on the shoulder, and then said louder, "I'll play."

Tetsutetsu hooted. "Yes! I assume no one else has any reservations?"

"How do we pick who gets to ask the truth or dare?" asked Honenuki.

"Oh. Hmm." Setsuna detached her own hand using her Quirk, moved into a pointing-finger position, and then floated it to the center of the blanket. "Spin that! We'll go around in the circle and each person will spin my hand. Whoever I'm pointing to will be the one who has to answer."

"Ohhh, I get it," said Reiko. Then, the ghost girl narrowed her eyes. "Setsuna, you may let us spin your hand when it's floating there, but you also have the power to stop it whenever you want."

"I'm not gonna do that!" Setsuna insisted. "I will let momentum and fate decide this! I'm a believer in the magic of the game. Trust me, I'll let whatever happens happen."

Personally, Izuku was skeptical, but Reiko seemed to be watching close enough. If there's foul play and it seems like her hand slows down too fast, it'll be easy to see, I guess.

"Okay then, who's starting?" asked Tetsutetsu.

"I'll start if no one else will." Itsuka took a restrained sip of her own drink and then reached forward to clasp Setsuna's floating hand.

Predictably, the lizard girl let out a fake moan. "Itsuka! Are we straight to handholding already?"

"Shaddup." As she spun it, Itsuka gave Tetsutetsu a nervous sideways glance. Izuku remembered Yui saying that the two of them had a weird thing going on. Well, they are sitting next to each other.

The hand landed on Honenuki. He straightened up a bit. "Hit me, Kendo. You can ask whatever you want, I don't care."

Itsuka smiled. "Ah, but then you won't ever have to take a drink…"

"Well, I prefer to keep my wits with me, in any case," he responded. He unwrapped one of the chocolate bars they had on the blanket and took a snapping bite of it.

Itsuka hummed, deep in thought. "Well, I don't know…"

Tetsutetsu leaned over and began to whisper in her ear. Itsuka giggled and blushed. Izuku was surprised to see her like that. She really does like him. I can't tell if it's super obvious or if I've just gotten better at noticing these things.

When he leaned away, Itsuka said out loud, "Tetsutetsu tells me to ask about the shaving cream."

The steel Quirk user began to laugh loudly, and Honenuki hung his head and sighed. Next to Izuku, Yui took another sip of her drink.

"Okay, so…" Honenuki cleared his throat. "It really wasn't that dumb…"

"Are you sure?!" Tetsutetsu wheezed. "Monoma had literally told us all beforehand what he was planning to do!"

"Okay, but like, I'm not always gonna remember everything that was said to me in a day."

"What happened?" Reiko asked.

"Basically," said Honenuki, "Monoma made two pies. Pies with shaving cream on top. He was intending to throw them at…who, again?" He looked back at Tetsutetsu.

"Mineta."

"Fair," Izuku mumbled. He supposed Monoma's insanity could occasionally be directed in helpful ways.

"Anyway. I saw one of the pies on the cooling rack in the kitchen and…made myself a slice. And took a bite of it, with a bunch of the guys around…"

"He did an actual spit take!" Tetsutetsu laughed.

"Boooo." Setsuna moved her central hand into a thumbs-down position. "That story was lame."

"Hey," Honenuki protested.

"It's not your fault. Tetsu's sense of humor just sucks."

"I should have thought of my own question," said Itsuka with a sigh.

"Alright, fine. It's no mercy for any of you now," said Tetsu, taking his turn with the hand. He spun it…

…And it landed on Izuku.

"Oh," he squeaked.

Tetsutetsu's face grew suddenly very serious. "Alright, Midoriya. How far have you and Kodai gone?"

Reiko coughed in shock, and Setsuna whooped. "Hey now!" Itsuka protested.

"I d-don't have to answer that!" Izuku sputtered. His eyes darted to Yui…who just giggled, her dark bangs partially hanging over her face. She seemed fixated on her drink.

Tetsutetsu shrugged. "Fine then. Take a shot."

Izuku looked down at the bottle. He gulped. It's either this or answer the question. Of course, the answer to the question was that they hadn't technically done anything. They'd come close a few times, but…

"It's not that bad, Midoriya. Trust me." Setsuna winked. She nudged the bottle toward his hand.

"Right…" Izuku muttered, and he picked it up. Tipped it back over his lips. Let the liquid fall into his throat.

Immediately, there was a strong burning sensation, and he jammed his eyes shut hard, a yawning taking over his ears. Ahhhhhhhhh. Don't like that. He forced himself to swallow, just barely managing not to cough or gag, and put the bottle back down.

The others were giggling at him. Slowly, the feeling subsided, and he was able to relax his facial muscles, opening his eyes again. "That sucked," he commented, weakly, managing a shaky laugh. "I think I'm going to answer a question next time." Unless they ask me what the deal with my Quirk is. Then I'm probably getting drunk tonight.

The game continued…

Mistakes were made.

Izuku did not remember making the decision to end up here, in Yui's room, but here they were.

He stepped in first, his head buzzing and light. Someone had ended up asking about his Quirk. He couldn't remember who. He'd taken another shot.

Yui followed, swaying and shutting the door behind them, red-faced. Her lips were parted. Izuku looked back at her. Oh, no, she's way too alluring like this. Her hair was slightly disheveled, and she'd undone the top button of her uniform blouse.

"I'm further gone than you," she commented, swaying toward him, and then colliding with him. "That's nnnnot fair." She gave him a shove, backward onto the bed.

"Yui," Izuku gasped. Her shadow fell over him. The room seemed to tilt.

Outside in the hallway, the others were walking past, headed to their rooms, or perhaps other places for the night. "HAVE FUN, YOU TWO!" Setsuna's voice called from the hall, and then there was a smattering of laughter. Their footsteps faded.

Yui looked back at the door for a moment, frowning, her eyebrows furrowed cutely. "Leave me alone," she mumbled.

At one point late in the game, she'd been dared to kiss Izuku, and had done so fully on the mouth in front of everyone. Then she'd taken a shot anyway. Alongside her cocktail. I thought it generally took more than this to…then again, neither of us have done this before, and she is a girl.

Izuku wondered if One for All was at all helpful in these kinds of situations. He still felt capable of focusing, if he tried really hard for a second, and acting normal. Deep breaths. I have to stay coherent.

Her lips had tasted of vodka. He wanted to taste them again.

"Izuku," Yui breathed, leaning over him, putting her hands on either side of his legs. Her knees came up onto the bed, and he scooted backward a bit, letting her slide up against him. Their breaths mingled in the air between them, the scent of alcohol potent. "Come here…"

Somehow all his senses felt very alive in that moment. He cupped her neck with one hand, feeling her silky dark hair in his fingers. His other arm went around her perfectly shaped waist, bringing right up to him. She smelled so good. When he looked into her half-lidded blue eyes he felt a pleasant sinking sensation. They were hypnotizing him.

Her hands were searching his chest. Her fingers fluttered. They slid up to his face and cupped his cheeks.

Finally, finally, finally, they pulled each other fully close, their legs intertwining, their heads resting on each other's necks. Yui grinded into him, and he grinded back. A feeling of pleasure responded in his crotch. He felt his penis wake up, spurred on by the fuzzy sensation ringing through his whole body.

"Yes, yes. Don't stop," she gasped into his neck, holding him tighter and tighter. "Oh God, please, please, Izuku."

He kissed her beneath the chin, burying his face there, peppering her, feeling her pulse there. She whined and moaned, rocking into him harder and harder. Mingling with the heat that was now emanating between them, he could feel a cold dampness gathering against the fabric of her panties. Her skirt had been rolled all the way up, exposing most of her shapely legs to him.

"Yui…"

Her thighs tightened and gripped him as he felt his manhood rise to its full size, straining at his pants. She continued to rub against it. "I don't care," she blurted. "I don't care that we're drunk, we can do it properly for the first time l-later, right now I just…I just want you to…"

Izuku felt something primal rise inside him. Yui would forget in the morning, but in that moment, she saw his eyes glow green.

He let out a deep sound of affection, almost a growl, and gripped Yui's uniform, his muscles flexing as he tore it in half. RRrrrrrrrrrrip.

Yui gasped as they bucked into each other, her uniform falling away, revealing her lacey white bra beneath. Izuku pulled her even closer, if that was somehow possible, and kissed her deeply. Their tongues tangled, and her boobs pushed against his chest. The fuzzy sensation intensified.

"Izukuuuu…" She moaned in-between kisses. They were twisting and shoving against each other with unchecked, alcohol-spurned aggression. The sheets tangled up. Her bra came loose, and her breasts spilled out of it.

"I'm going to cum, Yui." It was a simple statement of fact. No way of avoiding it. All the other mental weights that Izuku's anxiety-addled brain would have otherwise associated with this moment were gone. The alcohol had simply removed them. And Yui was not complaining.

With a heroine's speed and agility, on the rebound of a single thrust, Yui reached down with one hand, unzipped his pants, and pulled his underwear down, freeing his penis. Her thighs squeezed against it two more times, and as he came, shooting up over her front and her skirt, she buried him with a deep kiss.

Izuku nearly passed out. He was in total sensory overload. I can't believe it. I c-can't believe it. Oh my Goddd….

"Yesss, Izuku." His climax began to subside, and Yui slowed her grinding against him, steadying it, keeping her hands locked around his neck. "Yesss, get it all out. All for me. All for me, Izuku."

His orgasm ended. Izuku gasped for breath, trying to steady his heartbeat, as they both slowed to a stop, holding each other close. He stared straight ahead at her. She was slightly up on his lap, so her breasts were even with his eyes. They had come loose from the bra at some point, which was now tucked beneath them. He could see his own cum had made a mess on her lower stomach and skirt. A vague thought penetrated his brain fog that they should probably clean that up.

But instead…two other thoughts overpowered him. One was that Yui's boobs were right there, and God did they look perfect, shapely and well-sized with large nipples…and the other was that this wasn't fair. He had gotten to cum and she had not. He had to return the favor.

So he pulled her close again, a surprised drunken yelp escaping her, and began to lay kisses on her breasts.

"Oh. Oh, Izuku, you don't have to-" Her voice was light and airy.

"Yes I do," he muttered, adding suction to each kiss so he dragged away a bit of her skin with him. Slowly circling her left breast, getting closer and closer to the nipple. "You're so good to me, Yui. You're so good. You're perfect."

"MMmmmmmuhhhh…" She gripped his head tighter, and slowly lowered him with her, changing their position so that they were lying down together, sideways on the bed. "Don't stop. Just keep that up, baby…"

One of his hands held her breast to keep it steady, while he moved the other down to her leg, lifting it up and over him to keep them intertwined. Then he searched with his fingers toward her crotch.

Yui gasped. "Yes. Yes. Slow, please, but…"

Izuku obeyed. Who was he to deny her anything?

His kisses moved closer and closer to her nipple, as his fingers slowly dragged her panties down. One of her hands moved to guide him, holding his, moving his fingers to the proper place. "Just there…gently…gently…"

Right at the same time, Izuku finally kissed her nipple, and put a finger inside of her.

Yui let out an unrestrained moan. As he sucked on her, and slowly began to move his fingers, accepting her guidance to do it with the proper movement, at the proper spot…he sobered.

I can't believe I'm doing this. But he was unwilling to stop now. Yui deserved this. Stressed, shy, perfect Yui, she'd been through so much, she'd done so much for him, she deserved the world. She deserved to ride this wave that he could provide. Her bringing him to orgasm had been passionate, fast, intense, but now they were lying down, now they were passing love between them, and he only wanted to draw this out. To draw her pleasure out until she descended into a stupor.

And he did so. Continuing to kiss on her breasts and neck, maintaining his rhythm against her clit, steady, steady. Minutes ticked by, as he kept at his task, insistent, while Yui's moans grew more and more rapid…

And at last, he felt the walls of her pussy pulse around his fingers, and she climaxed. "Izukuuuuuuuuuuuuu…" His name devolved into a long, low coo, as she spasmed against him, spurting onto the bedsheets, making the second mess of the night.

She rode out her orgasm, pushing against him a few more times even after she had finished. He just let her move, let her enjoy it, holding her steady as best he could.

As her breaths finally calmed down, he looked back up into her eyes. There was so much stirring there. So much they had left unsaid. So many possible boundaries they had just crossed with one another.

Yui must have detected the anxiety creeping back into his brain, because a smile spread across her lips. "I'm so happy," she breathed. "You did so good, dear. So good. C'mere, now. I want to cuddle. Just hold me until I go to sleep…it prob'ly won't take long…"

He pulled her close, putting her head against his chest, and there they drifted off, in a sweaty bed-mess of their own making, just using each other as warmth. Izuku felt her breaths tickle him, and that was the last thing he remembered.

In the Class A dorm, Shoto Todoroki sat alone, half-heartedly chipping away at his partner presentation. The partner in question was, of course, absent.

Shoto sighed. He swore they had agreed that they would do this tonight. Was he misremembering?

Every so often he would check his phone, expecting a message from Izuku. Likely an extremely apologetic one. For the umpteenth time that evening, he considered standing up and going to look for him. But that might be a waste of time. Izuku was mysterious; who knew where he was.
