Ever since she was little Rio had been different. From the time she was born to the way she is now. Her mother rejected her and her father was always unknown to her. Sent to an orphanage Rio never received any love.
While most girls played with dolls, read fairy tales and dreamed of meeting their prince charming, Rio love mechanics. She loved to read engineering books and one day dreamed to be a famous mechanic.
Although she was different, she was happy, until that day. The day the hunters came after her. Abandoning her all she ever had, she set out to another life. Learning the basic essence of survival that shouldn't ever be used.
To destroy or to be destroyed.
That was when her happy childhood ended, forcing her to grow up. That was when she started making bombs. That was when Rio started taking life-threatening risks. The challenge excited her, the danger was passion and the threat of losing life was her life. Rio went from a child with hopes of a future to an adult clinging onto survival.
Until she met them… They provided her company and helped her get through life. They protected her and gave her love. They understood her feelings because theirs were the same. Rio was finally allowed to be a child again. A thing that she was deprived of at a young age.
Most of us start as kids, maturing into adults. For Rio it was the opposite. From bombs to bunny backpacks, Rio knew she was different. But now she finally understood that it was okay.
