Okay, welcome back. Last chapter we had a few important meetings. Some characters that won't be seen again. Many will. It's time to revisit the Ochaco arc.
So here we go. Issue number 10
Let's go.

Ochaco let her breath go as the starry portal opened in front of her. Wind swept through the shattered widows of the abandoned house by Takoba Municipal Beach Park. The young woman inhaled the salty air, before walking into the portal.
She was instantly greeted by bright light. She blinked as her eyes adjusted to the room.
A workbench sat alongside one of the walls. Several tools were scattered along its surface. Hatsume stood at a doorway that led out of the room. The young inventress had bags under her eyes, and a black bulletproof case in hand.
"Hey there Ochaco!" Hatsume grinned. "Sorry about the look, I haven't gotten any sleep."
Ochaco shook her head. "Hatsume, it's good to see you. You shouldn't have stayed up that long working on this for me though…"
"Oh but I did! You see, if my theory is correct, any other normal prosthetic would be torn off of you by your quirks effects. I needed to figure out how to change that, and make sure you could do your thing as soon as possible."
Ochaco blinked. "Why worry though? You have no reason to believe something is happening."
"Ochaco, you wouldn't be referred to me by Nezu if everything had been resolved. Regardless, we need to get you up and running right? Let's get started on the tests."
Hatsume moved the tools from her workbench, before opening the case, revealing a sleek black mechanical arm.
Ochaco's eye glinted. She had always been impressed by Hatsume and Izuka's inventions. The teleporting device. The robots. Even the lens they made for Mina.
The prosthetic was a little bigger than she thought, but then again, she could be looking at it oddly. It was smoothe down the forearm, with three plates overlapping on the upper part of the arm, near the shoulder. The palm of the prosthetics hand had a small circular piece split into three triangles. No doubt for some hidden mechanic.
"Okay, there are a few things we need to take care of, and a few things I need to inform you about." Hatsume said. "First, I'm sure you've noticed that the arm seems a little big. I made it with a special material so it'll adjust to you like a normal arm. Now, While I attach the prosthetic, you'll have to take a bonding injection so your nerves will connect to it. I will warn you, you will be in immense pain as we attach this."
Ochaco nodded. "Regardless, pain is necessary for growth. I'll push through it."
Hatsume nodded. "Then sit down."
The inventress pulled out a chair. "I expect your quirk might automatically activate in defense. You'll experience several changes, but you need to make sure you fight them to cause the least amount of damage possible."
Ochaco sat down in the chair. "Let's do this."
Hatsume nodded. "Take off your shirt. Let's go."
The inventress took some measurements of Ochaco's shoulder first, before leveling the shoulder of the prosthetic with the girl and slipping it on. The metal felt cool against Ochaco's skin. Hatsume sighed. "Okay. Here we go. Step one, fixation."
A whirr came from the arm. The three plates on the shoulder rotated outwards, before flipping over and digging into Ochaco's skin. The girl winced, and Hatsume stood up. "Okay, almost done, I need something special to finish the fixation." The inventress walked over to a drawer in the workbench and retrieved a small box. She withdrew a blue glowing disc from it and brought it over to Ochaco. "This is an Arc reactor. It's a very very stable power source. When I put this in, the prosthetic will snap onto you. It will dig past the scarred skin to mold into your bone, and lock in as a joint. I assume Recovery girl took away any bone fragments in your missing arm, making the end of your shoulder still able to create this pseudo joint. Again, it will be extremely painful."
Ochaco nodded. "Do it."
Hatsume slid open a hatch on the prosthetic. "Once this is in, the hatch will seal. I'm starting the process now."
Hatsume took the disc and placed it in the hatch, before linking a few wires to its surface. The prosthetic clicked, and the hatch closed, before glowing and letting off a bit of smoke. The arm whirred, and Ochaco grunted as several noises went off.
Ochaco felt like her shoulder was on fire. The metal of the prosthetic dug into her. The girl felt a tear roll down her cheek. Hatsume sighed as the pain began to go down.
"Okay. Now the next part, the bonding injection."
Hatsume took out a small syringe and inserted it into the back of Ochaco's neck. As she injected the contents into Ochaco, the girl gave a whine of pain. Tears began flooding down Ochaco's face as pain overtook her body.
Hatsume grimaced. She knew it would be painful, and had warned the girl. Her entire nervous system was reconfiguring itself. Her legs twitched spastically, her regular hand twitched and twisted. It was comparable to when she had electrocuted people.
Hatsume sat down and sighed as Ochaco screamed. "Come on. Fight the pain."
After a half hour, the screaming stopped. Ochaco's eyes fluttered. Hatsume grabbed a glass of water and brought it to the girls lips. "Drink…"
Ochaco downed the glass of water with some help. Hatsume wiped the girl's face off and checked the arm. As she touched it, Ochaco twitched. "I can feel that…"
Hatsume smiled. "I designed it to let you feel. That way you can sense things on that side, although it is pretty much indestructible. You can feel touch, but not any sort of flame or quirk effect."
Ochaco nodded. "Thank you."
"It's no problem."
Hatsume stood up and moved her chair back to the workbench. "Rest a bit more, then we'll test it, okay?"
Ochako nodded. "Yeah… sounds good…"

Stella sat on a wooden chair as the white haired man known as Tomura Shigaraki looked at the pro hero Esper.
"Step one of thirty two is complete for this project… Thank you dear sister."
Izuka smiled. "Of course Tenko."
Stella shuddered as Tomura forced the hero awake. Esper went wide eyed as a crazed grin spread over the villain's face.
"Hello Esper… Glad to see you awake. It'll be so much greater to see the pain you go through."
Izuka blinked as Esper tried to use their quirk. "It won't work hun, we've used a suppression agent. Now, there are a few options. One, you don't fight back, you join us. Two, we take your quirk and you live quirkless, but heavily monitored by the league. Three, we take your quirk and kill you. Which one do you prefer?"
Esper spat at Izuka. "I'd rather die than make deals with a villain."
Shigaraki grinned. "We're glad to hear it." Shigraki grabbed the hero by the face, and black lightning crackled across the room. Esper screamed as her quirk was forced out of her. Shigaraki's eyes pulsed and he licked his lips. "Delicious. Now, let's make this as painful as possible."
Stella watched as Shigaraki slammed espers face into a wall, before flipping her over and ripping her in half and watching her disintegrate in his hands.
"Good… that pain absorbing quirk is a bitch to fucking keep under wraps… Hopefully that'll be satiated for a while."
Izuka walked over to Stella. "Now we talk. Why did you choose my daughter?"
Stella gulped, before looking at Izuka in the eyes. The young womans single eye held a ferocity and untamed malice that was begging to be toyed with.
The sorceress knew that Izuka was not one to be taken lightly. It was obvious. A person who ripped apart the symbol of peace with her bare hands was terrifying. Stella quickly steeled herself with a deep breath, reminding herself that she was guided by the time stone.
"I didn't pick Eri. The eye of agamotto did."
Izuka's eyes narrowed. "The eye of agamotto?"
Stella nodded, motioning to the amulet around her neck. "The eye of agamotto is one of the most powerful artifacts in the multiverse. It is the housing vessel of the time stone, one of the six infinity stones."
Izuka blinked. "Infinity stones… the six manifestations of universal law that originated in the big bang… Time, Space, Reality, Mind, Soul, and Power… They truly do exist?"
Stella nodded, pening her amulet and revealing the time stone. "They aren't as powerful as the legends say, however, they are not to be taken lightly. After the infinity war with the first avengers, it was observed by my ancestor, Stephen Strange, that the infinity stones power fluctuated. Some started to spark and dim, as if they were losing their power."
Stella waved her hand as green particles floated through the air to play out archaic history. "The stones originated from a single point, just like all matter. They hold a connection to that point, the origin of all matter. As such, when something disrupts that connection, they may change. We are faced with a big problem. Several of the stones are thought to be lost. If all six lose their connection, the universe as we know it could collapse."
"So like, the universe's wifi sucks?" Tomura blinked from Izuka's side.
Stella nodded. "In a way. It has been the duty of each sorcerer supreme since Stephen, to travel to the origin of matter and recharge the stones. We have only been able to sustain the Time stone, as the others have moved on…"
"Moved on?"
"As the stones power dimmed, the universe moved to protect itself, sending the nexus of each of the stones powers to locate and bind to them. It would make the stones as powerful as the stories, infinite power sources in the palm of ones hand. These nexuses could move to bind onto objects, such as the stones themselves. Areas, such as where a stone resides, or a living being, in order to better maintain the power and protect the stones themselves."
"And you're telling me Eri is one of these infinity nexuses?" Izuka blinked.
Stella nodded. "Yes. Eri is the living nexus of time which must be paired with the stone. It will be a start, and in order to help her direct the power, I believe she should learn to wield the mystic arts."
Izuka nodded. "Okay, what of the other stones? You said they were lost?"
Stella nodded. "Yes, the only known stones are the time stone, the mind stone, and the power stone."
"So reality, space, and Soul are gone…"
Stella clapped her hands and the sparks dispersed. "That we know of, yes. This might not be what you had in mind. But I will need your help to find the nexuses of the known two. It won't be for a while, but it is something necessary to the survival of our reality."
Izuka smiled. "I'll help when I can. Dunno how much of a help I'll be, as I definitely have things to take care of. Besides, I don't see myself as the universe saving type. However, this does give me an incredible weapon…"
Izuka paced around the room, chuckling while planning.
"If I could find the stones and their nexuses, and make them my own allies, I would be unstoppable. The world would BOW to the league. We'd be able to complete our revolution with ease… It's getting them that would be the hard part…"
"The power stone belongs to Tonya. She's been experimenting on it constantly, but it is not without cost. If her experiments continue, I fear Tonya will kill the stone and offset the balance once more. The mind Stone is in Japan… some project that was funded by a corrupt part of the hero association that was disbanded years ago… I may have an Idea of where the space or reality stones may be…"
"Oh?"
"Thor, the god of thunder. He is somewhat immortal as long as he doesnt die in battle. Him and his sibling, Loki, rebuilt asgard on a new planet. To get from place to place, they reconstructed the bifrost, a tool that could literally allow them to jump through planes of existence. They may have used one of the two stones to reconstruct it."
Izuka nodded. "I remember seeing thor… perhaps we will meet. I hope that I will be able to gain his partnership…"
Stella stood up and stretched. "Regardless. Keep what I have said in mind. I will need help with the other stones. Do I have permission to train your daughter?"
"Izuka smiled. "Train away. I'd love for my daughter to become a titan…"

Ochaco looked at the tests that Hatsume had set up. It was pretty much the same as a physical education fitness test.
First came grip strength. Hatsume had her run it with her natural arm first, then the prosthetic. Her normal grip strength was around 135kg. It would earn her a top spot with many bodybuilders in the pre quirk era.
Hatsume was also busy monitoring vitals and running scans. She was impressed with the amount of compact muscle Uraraka had. Perhaps her quirk not effecting her with her gravity field had more facets to it…
The prosthetic crushed the grip machine. Ochaco blinked at the device, before sighing. "I'm glad we're testing this. I'll be able to know how much to hold back."
Hatsume smiled. "Well, it looks to be functioning properly in any case. Let's continue with the tests."
The two continued, yielding a vast amount of data for Ochaco's new arm. Hatsume also pointed out some gadgets in the prosthetic.
"I've changed your suit design to match your new prosthetic, and before you ask, yes, I was the one who made your costume, obviously I wouldn't let you wear anyone else's equipment."
Ochaco blinked as Hatsume hit a remote, revealing a hero suit. It was fairly simple, yet had complexities that were signatures of Hatsume's craft.
A black suit with one sleeve missing, the one that would be where her new prosthetic now was. Straps buckled across the waist and shoulders, fastening on a black backpack. A single bracer was on the one arm of the suit, while combat boots took the feet. A black scarf went around the neck, with a black military beret on the head.
"The bracer has a hidden screen that's tuned into the hero association database via a trojan horse virus. The prosthetic has a steel grappling cable within it that extends to around 1200 meters, thanks to a new mechanism created with Kurogiri's quirk. You should be able to flex a part of the arm to launch it, and then grapple to walls, swing from building to building as it launches and retracts. It should increase your mobility by a bit. The last thing."
Hatsume walked over to her workbench as Ochaco put the suit on. The inventress withdrew a case and presented it to the girl. "Japan seems to be in some deep shit, as we theorized from your appearance. Take this. Also, send word if you need anything."
Ochaco opened the case to find a solid black handgun. She strapped it on before turning as the door to the testing room opened.
Izuka stood in the doorway, eyeing Ochaco cautiously.
"Ochaco."
"Izuka."
"It's good to see you alive, although something tells me things aren't the best in Japan."
"They would have been worse if you hadn't escaped. Heroes would have neglected every other villain just to track you down and keep dying. I hope you're ready for a fight when you get back."
"Oh? Is that a challenge?"
Ochaco shook her head. "No. He's getting stronger, and if I'm busy keeping others out of the way of harm, like current heroes refuse to do, I won't be able to give you accurate information."
"Well what do you have right now? Not just on Bakugo, but the state of Japan as a whole."
Ochaco sighed and leaned against a wall. "The commission is falling apart. An old wing is resurfacing, attempting to make anti-nomu's. I was guided by Nezu to assemble a team of vigilante's, which was approved by the head of the hero commission. However, she will be stepping down in two weeks. Nezu has been driven out of UA, and the entire key to this is my adoptive daughter, who used to be a test subject for Gaia corps, the company making the anti-nomu's."
Izuka shook her head. "That's worse than I thought… I have suspicions about something however…"
Ochaco raised an eyebrow. Izuka raised a finger. "How many quirks does this daughter of yours have?"
"Seven."
"It's odd how at least six people have lost their quirks but retained their mental state. Above all, it is interesting how this girl has maintained her own…"
"It was quite odd to find that she was fully functioning with so many quirks." Ochaco said.
Izuka nodded. "I have recently been informed that there is an… artifact of sorts in Japan. If my hunch is correct, this anti-nomu lab may be using it in their experiments… whatever happens, that artifact cannot be used by them for much longer. If you find a yellowish orange crystal… Do whatever you can to keep it for you, Shoto, your daughter, or give it to me. I'd prefer it to find me at some point, but I assume you'd feel safer with me having less power."
Ochaco sighed. "I will find this artifact and place it somewhere no one can find."
"Glad to hear it." Izuka smirked. "Now, I think you have some business to take care of back home."
Ochaco chuckled. "That I do." The girl laced the handgun she was holding in its holster. "A certain someone owes me a new eye…"
Ochaco walked through a starry portal, leaving Izuka and Hatsume alone in the testing room.
"Anything I can do hun?"
Izuka smiled. "We've got something to take care of for Kota. We need to build a bridge between dimensions."

Nezu sighed as he sat on the beach of the league's old island base. He had enough food here to last him for a while. The chimera's fur was a bit muddy. Some spare changes of clothes lay drying by a fire. Everything had been cleared out of the old mansion on the island, leaving it as just another shell.
Nezu sighed. A concoction that had been brewing by the fire began bubbling, and he quickly picked it up, before setting it aside to cool.
As the substance cooled, Nezu stoked the fire and worked on taking down trees. On his third tree, the ex principal grabbed the substance he had made and rubbed it along his scar. It was a ritual he went through once a day. The medicine he made helped to prevent ingrown hairs and infection along the scarred tissue, especially close to his eye.
Normally, the chimera used a similar medicine provided by recovery girl, which was strictly in the form of eyedrops, however, he had known the recipe to make the treatment for himself if he ever needed.
Nezu washed his paws and went back to working. He knew he needed to get to America, but he needed a way there. He had everything to make a raft, and was currently building one, but it wasn't ideal…
"Of course, nothing is really ideal these days. Perhaps I can find some way of contacting Izuka from here… I would need a phone…"
Nezu sighed, looking out over the water to see the glow of musutafu's lights. "Regardless, I'd need to get across the water first… I can only hope that for now, everyone else is safe…"

Aizawa blinked as he looked at the notice in hand. He was promoted to principal… Him of all people. Aizawa felt a tear roll down his cheek as he looked at the note.
It wasn't that he wanted the position. No, if anything, he didn't want it. He wanted to make sure he could protect civilians and train his star pupils to be true heroes. He wanted to leave UA originally… Aizawa wanted to resign.
But this also meant Nezu had gone. The man knew of the chimera's plans. The two knew his time was limited. Several of the other staff members were already leaving UA. Aizawa had heard news of Power Loader preparing to leave in a weeks time. Nemuri had gone, and Aizawa had assumed it was to find and help the lost students in their new crusade. Cementoss had remained with Ectoplasm and snipe, and they had spoken of changing UA from a highschool, into a shelter and training ground.
Aizawa felt a rush of emotions rush through him. UA had been his home for a long time. He had met the love of his life in these halls. He had taught generations of heroes. Proud just heroes. Selfless heroes.
The heroes who knew the meaning of self sacrifice…
Aizawa hurled the envelope and the note at the wall with tears in his eyes. It landed with a soft thump, and a small chip fell out of the paper.
"What's this…"
Aizawa picked up the chip and examined it. On its surface was a laser cut image of Nezu with his thumb up. The decaffeinated teacher brought the chip over to his computer and plugged it into the port.
A video popped up on his screen, depicting Nezu. The rodent was dressed in his suit, but seemed to be in some sort of cave.
"Aizawa, if you're seeing this, it means that they gave you the notice I sent. How foolish of them… We knew that this would happen. I would be driven out. There are things that need to happen, and despite any other mistakes all of us have made, you are the one I trust the most. You are a harsh teacher, because you know how harsh the world is. The students of yours that have lived, they will grow to learn that too. You must take what you can, and flee."
Nezu quickly looked around as shouts sounded.
"I don't have much time. I am fleeing in search of Midoriya. I will join them in order to build a world without corruption, an equal world. I need you to take care of some things for me. Give the notice you received to Vlad. Take your students, Shinso, Jirou, and Kaminari. Take them and run. Withdraw from UA and keep the true heroes spirit alive. Tell each of your students, warn them of what is to come. Katsuki Bakugo will continue on his path. Each of the other students, judge which ones are ready for their license. The current commissioner will step down, keep her safe. When the league returns, work with young Uraraka and her group of vigilantes. This war will be a war about how many we can save, not how many we can kill. Now, I must go. Be proud Shota. From now on, you are UA."
The video ended, and Aizawa collapsed. The hero brushed the hair out of his face, before grabbing the envelope and looking down at his hero costume.
)=(
"HIGARI!"
Power Loader jumped as Aizawa burst into the room. "Shota? Is everything okay?"
Aizawa looked at the inventor and gave him a hug. "I know that, I might not be the best person out there, and I have made some mistakes."
"Shota, we're all human. Are you okay?"
Aizawa took a deep breath. "Nezu has been driven out. I know you plan to leave as well. UA will be entrusted to Vlad. I myself am leaving with my students. My apprentices."
"This is a lot to process at once…"
"Higari, there is no time. I'm leaving tonight. I need you to make a change to my costume."
"Okay, you need something added?"
Aizawa grinned, while his eyes teared up a bit. "I've never been one to be flashy, so something subtle, but up close, will scream plus ultra."

All Right, that's it for chapter ten. Wow, there's a bit in there that's gonna be fun to work with I can already tell you.
To put it in a simpler perspective. Winter Soldier, Asgard and a god of time, and finally, My version of Aizawa. My favorite developed character…
I am a huge Aizawa fan, actually had long hair and looked a bit like him for a while xD. The final sushuiverse design for him is what I pictured him as if he were a vigilante, and it is badass. I hope you're ready.
There's gonna be a big change to our canon characters.
Baby Update! Even if you didn't ask for it, I consider each of you part of my family, as everyone reading has put time into reading and enjoying this story, leaving comments, giving advice, and helping quite a bit.
I wouldn't have made it this far without all of you.
Anyways! The baby is growing! The first ultrasound came back and the child is already lookin' like a little bunny. A short little baby update, but one that I think is meaningful.
"MY CHILD IS ALIVE :D"
Thank you all.
Sushui Out!
