Chapter 6

TW: Non consensual drug use, cannon typical violence

When Weiss woke, she had no idea where she was. It didn't help that her head still rang out with all the pain of getting hit by a train. But the thing that really inhibited her ability to tell where she was, the darkness. Wherever she had ended up, it was pitch black. Unable to orient herself by sight, Weiss tried to find her bearings by touch.

Moving around just served to highlight how everything ached. Her shoulders had locked up from being in such a restricted position- speaking of which, her hands were bound. A little fiddling confirmed it was handcuffs. They felt mildly familiar, but Weiss chalked that up to the ones she was used to being standard issue rather than to them actually being one in the same. Groaning at the soreness that took over her whole body, Weiss forced herself up onto her knees and face. Not comfortable by a long shot, but at least wherever she was, there were pillows and blankets. They felt like the ones from her bed? Maybe? She couldn't tell without seeing them.

In trying to get up, she hit her head first on the bars and then on the top of her cage. Delightful. Now her head just hurt all the worse. She was pretty sure she cursed loudly, but her ears already rang with the sound of her hurried pulse, and that made discerning harder than it should have been. Carefully this time, Weiss stretched out and found the bounds of her cage. Was it the same one Blake had been delivered to her in?

Fuck! Blake! Was she alright? If someone had done this to her, what would they do with a collared faunus standing in the way? Even if Blake was alright, when her father heard of this, he'd blame her. Fuck! Weiss cursed to herself under her breath in a long series of expletives.

None of this was good! Weiss had so much fucking work to do, and no time with which to handle whatever this was. She needed to get out! Get back to work! Thinking too hard only reminded her how much her head hurt, and the heiress desperately regretted that she hadn't continued her huntress training. She'd heal sooner or later with what anemic, atrophied aura she had, but it would have been infinitely faster if she'd not given up on all that almost a decade ago.

"Hey!" Weiss screamed, her voice hoarser than she expected. How long had she been out? Not that she'd been overzealously hydrating during her day, but it must have been a while given the state of her dry and scratchy throat. "Heeyy! Who's there? What do you want? A fucking ransom or something?" She turned over- and quickly regretted it- to clink her cuffs against the metal of the cage. "So? You call up my dad yet? He'll pay! Not for me of course, but to save face and cover-up that a Schnee was so easy to kidnap." When no response came, Weiss just returned to wailing and tried louder. Either she'd get her captor's attention, or she'd get someone else's and they would contact the Atlesian authorities.

She went till she'd worn herself out and then tried to keep going, but quickly she collapsed back into the bedding under her. Hopeless. She figured it was hopeless. If she was somewhere this dark, she was probably well isolated. Isolated if not from her captor, then certainly from anyone to save her.

"No one is coming to save you."

"What?" Weiss perked as best as her exhaustion could manage. Where had that voice come from? Where'd she know it from? A woman! A woman with a voice soft, dark, calm. No doors had opened! Weiss was moderately sure of that? There had been no light and that would have shown if a door had opened. How the hell could someone have seen well enough to get in the room, much less to exist there without walking into something.

"No one is coming for you. No one will save you."

"I-" Weiss knew that voice, but it was different. Something was different enough about it that Weiss couldn't quite place her. "What?" She repeated.

"And I won't be giving you back over some piddly little ransom."

"Bla-" Weiss questioned, the name on her lips for half a second before she tossed away the sheer idea. It couldn't be Blake.

"Finally figured it out, huh? Was wondering how long it'd take you." Blake kicked at the bars of the cage.

The ringing stung in Weiss's ears as she tried to think.

"Aww, poor little Schnee having a hard time keeping up?" The click of Blake's chunky heels clonked around the cage.

It was, it really was! "Blake? I- is that you? What's going on? Are you alright? What happened?" The steps continued to circle Weiss, but no response came. "Wherever we are, my father will come find us. I- We'll be alright. He- He'll pay whatever to get me back- to save face, but I'll make sure he gets you fre-"

"Shut up!" Blake kicked the cage again. "How fucking stupid do you think I am?"

"I- not… I don't…" Weiss's energy died out. "Blake?" She flopped down onto her side and tried to see the faunus through the darkness. She couldn't see a thing, but she knew the faunus could see her perfectly in the dark. "What's going on?"

"Brothers, you really are slow." Blake scoffed. "Were you always so vapid, or did having everything handed to you suck the brains right out of your skull?"

"Blake!" Weiss snapped.

"Privileged cunt!" Blake huffed back.

"I-" Weiss scoffed indignant and insulted.

The faunus knelt down by the cage, her boots scraping against the ground as she did. "I just love that look of angry horror on your face. All scared but thinking you still have the power to be mad. Adorable."

Weiss flopped over onto her back, doing her best to pinpoint Blake, and she kicked at the bars- she was pretty sure she broke something in her foot in the process.

"Haha! You've got some fight in you?" Blake leaned back on her heels and continued to chuckle to herself. "I didn't expect that after seeing how spineless you were when it came to your father.

Weiss bit her lip and fought the urge to cry out. She wouldn't give Blake the pleasure of showing her that pain.

"I'll enjoy breaking that." Somehow, Weiss could just tell Blake was smiling. "But, for now, out!" Blake ordered and threw open the door to the cage.

"Huh?" Weiss could only orient herself through the sound of Blake's voice and the creaking of the cage's door.

"I said out! You dumb bitch!"

Weiss wanted to scream her opposition, to yell and protest. She wanted to do a lot of things, but she was smart enough to know compliance might get her more answers in the moment. Movement was slow, especially so considering her body's exhaustion and the fact that she was mostly inching by what movement she could make with her shoulders.

"It's alright, we have time." Blake allowed with a soft, patient tone.

"I-" Weiss's voice trembled breathless from exertion and fear. She wanted to believe it was solely the former, but it was more likely equal. "What is going on? What- what do you want?"

"Aww, she's asking questions… Well, that's fine for now, but you'll learn your place soon." The feeling of Blake's palm against her cheek stopped Weiss completely. "Soon enough Kitten." Simultaneously soft and calloused fingers caressed across Weiss's cheek in such a soft and gentle gesture.

"What is going on?" Weiss pressed her question again and tried her best to not reel at the touch.

"You're just going to keep asking, aren't you?" Blake's fingers migrated up to Weiss's hair, pulling it back and straightening the mess the mane had become.

"I- Yes!" Weiss agreed dumbly. Why the hell wouldn't she ask!

"Ok then!" Blake grunted with the effort as she took Weiss by a tight grip on her hair and yanked her roughly out of the cage

"Ouch! Ouch! Fuck!" Weiss cried out in pain as Blake lifted her up only to roughly drop her back down to the ground.

"There, better, now you're out."

"What do you want Blake! What's going on?"

"First, I'd appreciate some obedience. But… that will come with time." Blake sighed before lifting Weiss up and sitting her atop the cage.

"Obedience?" Weiss felt insulted. What had she done to Blake… ok, aside from being a Schnee! She'd tried to be kind to Blake! Hell, she'd already been planning Blake's escape… though, Blake seemed to have already gotten that covered.

"Shh, shh, shh." Blake's hands whisked around Weiss's head pulling back stray hairs and cleaning her up slightly. "You'll get there. For now, we need you all together, healed and in one piece."

Weiss blinked and she felt like her eyes had adjusted just enough to catch the faint outline of Blake's amber eyes. "Healed?"

"I can't have you dying of a concussion now, can I?" Blake ruffled through clothing and pulled something free just to place it at Weiss's lips. "Come now Kitten, just bite it and engage your aura. You remember how to do that, right?"

Weiss nodded softly and obeyed with far too much ease. The dust crunched under her teeth and quickly melted to a faint sweet taste as her aura dissolved it. She hated how quickly she gave in. She soothed herself with the thought that it would just be this one time. Only because she also had a vested interest in not dying of a concussion.

"Good girl." Blake praised eagerly. Instantly, the words felt like they'd taken on a complete different meaning than any other time Weiss had heard them.

"What's- just…" Weiss suddenly felt dizzy. Her whole body felt like she was falling in the most pleasant way.

"That's it. There you go. Good girl." Blake soothed gently.

"Whd- gv mhmm." Weiss moved back and forth as if being battered by the waves.

"Aww, you don't recognize it? Well, I guess it's only really common amongst the faunus. The ones beaten and battered in your mines. Building your walls for you."

"Buu-"

"You know, it's addictive? But the Schnee never cared about turning their workers into junkies if it meant they continued to mechanically pump out profit."

"Haaa…" Weiss panted out. "Hot… good…" Her whole body felt like she was radiating heat and floating. It was wonderful. She was sure she could lose herself in the sensation forever if only it weren't so fleeting.

"Starting to come back to the world a little?" Blake checked gently.

"I- whaa?"

"It's a quick peek, but the rest will linger a while. Your head should be healed now tho." The faunus pulled up and back Weiss's hair where the heiress had been struck. What had been an open wound still slowly bleeding was now but the faintest yellowed bruise. "Yup, all healed." Blake chuckled. "I'm sure you'll be craving more soon tho."

"M- more?" Somehow, Weiss's brain latched to the idea desperately. "More?" She questioned again eagerly.

"Aww, did you forget wanting to know why I took you? You know, if you'd actually kept it together I'd have answered some of your questions." Blake's voice was so pleased with herself.

Answer? Answer… Anwer! Weiss needed answers! She needed to know things! Right? What did she need to ask? She- her head was so foggy, and thinking was slow and hard, and everything else felt so nice and she wanted more and- "Where?" She managed through the fog to get out the single question.

"Is that your question? That's what you want to know?"

"Wha- w… where!" Weiss coughed out, more trying to remember what she asked rather than because she needed the answer for that above anything else.

"Well, I did say I'd answer. So I guess it's only fair to answer." Blake sighed. "Menagerie. You're in Menagerie. I'm sorry, but no sunny beaches for you; not for a while at least."

"I- Wait!" Weiss blinked quickly. "No! No! That wasn't my question! I! I!"

Blake laughed. "Aww, coming to now?"

"What! What the hell'd you give me! The fuck was that! Why do I still feel all…"

"Are you sure that's the next question you wanna ask Kitten?"

Weiss's face contorted in horror at her mistake. "No! No! Why! Why am I here- or what do you want!"

"Well, that one's a little more complex. What do I want? Right about now, I just want you punished."

"P-punished?" Weiss stammered out, still too far in the haze of the dust drug to censor herself and keep her pride intact.

"Shh, don't worry of that now Kitten." Blake calmed. "Why are you here? Well, your father wasn't going to liberate the faunus for free."

"What! I! Idiot! He doesn't give a damn about me I-"

"Shh, shh, shh." Blake calmed again and soothed her fingers down Weiss's hair. "Then we'll just have to figure something else out." Weiss heard clothes shuffling, but she still couldn't see a damn thing.

"I'm just a prop to him! He won't care what you do to me unless the people hate him for it- It's all optics and- and- and-" As Weiss spoke, she felt it once more, the hard crystal against her lower lip. It stole all will she had to fight. She petered out, stumbling with her words. Limply, Weiss tried to bite at the drug, to steal it away from Blake's fingers, but the faunus kept it just out of reach.

"Oh…" Blake giggled evilly. "This is just going to be too easy."

"G- give!" Weiss barked out the demand like she had an iota of her normal power to do so.

"Oh, Kitten, you can do so much better than that."

"G- give it!"

"But I shouldn't go spoiling you, Kitten." Blake clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth in a small "tisk" sound. "I'm sure that if I let you, you'd devour yourself into an overdose. I can't have you killing yourself by accident, now can I?"

Somewhere in the back of her mind, Weiss knew what Blake meant, she knew Blake was right. But the rest of her didn't give a damn. It felt so nice, and the high was fading yet. She needed more! Just… "Just one more."

"Aww, greedy little thing." Blake cooed. "Well, I still have more work to do with you before you go back in the cage, so… I guess." She pressed the small crystal into Weiss's lips and the heiress took to it like her first meal in ages. Blake nearly lost a finger to the heiress's desperate bite at the drug dust.

The hit was instantaneous. Weiss's mind went fuzzy and she couldn't orient herself. Warm, hot, soft. The whole world felt so many things it had never really been to Weiss. If she had been able to retain much cognitive function, she would have been sure her eyes glazed over. It was just so nice, so easy to lose herself in.

It was so much that even when Weiss felt the cuffs removed, she couldn't manage to so much as raise a hand in protest. Fighting was a long-lost ideation. All Weiss wanted was more of that drug. The heiress began to slip from consciousness not long after. She could vaguely tell that Blake was stripping her, removing her clothes slowly. The last memory Weiss had was of the faunus touching her neck.

"You'll get a much nicer one when you've learned to behave, but for now, this one will keep you good and obedient," Blake whispered into Weiss's ear as the collar locked around the heiress's neck.
