A/N: Written for Jennghis Kahn as a pick me up. It's short, but since I tend to cringe at fluff--even if I occasionally write it--this is an accomplishment for me ;)

Sam pressed her back against his chest, urging him to wrap his arms more tightly around her waist. With a contented sigh, she tipped back her head and attempted to catch a glimpse of his face.
"This is my favorite part," she said. "What do you think?"
"How-where did she get that shotgun?" Daniel asked, frowning.
Sam smiled, snuggling closer. "Under her lab coat, of course."
"Of course." He paused and rested his cheek against hers. "How can you buy a scene like this and then tear apart that other alien movie?"
"Because she's a scientist and kicks ass," Sam replied. "Just look." Sam pointed to the screen as the female scientist burst through the doors into the next lab, picking off zombie after zombie, one by one. "She's smart. She's strong. And at least when they concentrate on her, the writers don't mess up the biochemical component of the story." Sam sighed with frustration. "God. I mean, do you even remember what they did in the last movie? Do they even do their research?"
She could feel Daniel's smile as he squeezed her into a warm hug. "Remind me again why I watch these movies with you?"
"Because you love the company?"
There was a pause. "Right."
Sam gasped, turning around to give him a shove. He whimpered, sent her a mock glare, and feigned the worst pout she'd ever seen. She laughed.
The moment passed and Daniel scooped her up again, holding her against his body. She felt like she could just sit there for hours, nestled in between his legs, lost in his comfortable embrace.
"Oh, this is my other favorite part," Sam said quickly. "It's where she gets her man."
She closed her eyes and smiled, feeling his lips on her neck. "She already has," Daniel whispered.
Her grin only grew. Sam forgot the movie and drifted, cementing her hands over his. This was one happy ending that she was sure to enjoy.
The End
