One day I was looking through the Children of the Red King stories and saw that out of 80 whole stories, only one was OliviaxCharlie. I for one happen to think they would be the greatest couple. So now here I am, writing a lovely little fluffy fic about those two. It's short and to the point but I felt I really had to write it. Enjoy.

Charlie lay on his bed in his dormitory, staring at the ceiling. As usual, he had a lot to think about, but today in particular there was another weight on his mind - Olivia.
Olivia and Charlie had always been good friends and they'd been through many adventures together, but it was only now he realized how he felt about her.
He truly loved Olivia.
Charlie recalled the first time he had seen her, and remembered how weird he thought it was that she dyed her hair such vibrant colours and wore clothes that were really out there. Now, it's a shock to see her wearing something what most people would call normal.
His thoughts were interrupted as the Matron called into the dormitory, "Lights out!"
Typical. He had spent too long daydreaming about Olivia and now he would have to brush his teeth and get ready to go to bed in the dark.
The lights went out and Charlie could no longer think about how much he wished Olivia liked him too, as he would have to concentrate fully on not running into the wall or anything.
He sighed and sat up. There was no way Olivia felt the same way he did.

Olivia and Emma were sitting on Emma's bed and talking about the day's events. Olivia barely heard what Emma was saying, because she could only think about one person, none other than Charlie Bone.
She always knew she had liked him a lot as a friend, but recently she knew she wanted it to be more than that.
"Who do you like?"
Olivia crash landed back in reality to find the conversation had taken a sudden change in direction. She almost confessed her feelings about Charlie, but decided to keep it a secret. Sometimes you couldn't trust even your best friend.
"So, who do you like?" Emma asked again.
"Oh, uh... Nobody at this school. The boys are either not on our side or completely immature," she lied.
Emma laughed. "Oh, I don't think that's very true. Charlie is pretty cute."
Hearing Emma say that made Olivia flare with anger inside, because she couldn't stand to see Charlie with her best friend, but she didn't let on. All she did was mumble, "Yeah, I guess."
"Oh, come on. He's really nice. I think you two would make a great couple, y'know."
At this, Olivia didn't feel angry anymore, but had no idea how to reply without revealing her feelings. Luckily, she was saved from saying the wrong thing.
"Lights out!" Matron called.
"Oh, already?" Emma whispered. "Well, goodnight Olivia."
Olivia threw back a rushed goodnight as well, then hurried over to her own bed.
She sighed and lay down. There was no way Charlie felt the same way she did.
