Your world as you know it is gone. How far will you go to get it back? A team had to face that question. This is the tale of a team of pups (and a fox) who risk their own lives to save the world they love.
0203 Hours: Oil platform, off the coast of Russia.
A guard's life on the oil platform was just like that. In the morning, he patrols to keep out enemies. In the afternoon, he repeats the patrol, and again in the evening. Things were always boring, but today things were going to get deadly.
On patrol, he was walking his usual patrol when all in a sudden a paw grabbed him and thrown him into the water. This was bad, he told himself as he struggles to get back up to the surface. Looking around, he was in shock. It was a pup, a German shepherd. The two locked their eyes for a moment before the pup shoved a knife in his throat, ending his life. Shoving the body aside, the pup swimed up to complete his mission.
Apon arriving at the surface, agent Chase muttered the coordinates on his wrist phone. Within two minutes, two more appear. A cockapoo and an arctic fox. "Alright, let's get this bastard," said Chase in a rase voice. The three climbed onto the platform and began to take off their clothes for armor warsuits. Skye looked at her finance with pride and some concern. Chase had changed since Barkingburg. He rarely grooms himself, resulting in a wilder coat. He also became a heavy drinker with Fuchs. She never told him, but she really wanted him to stop.
After changing, the three agents sent out to find Old Smith, a nasty fox who had ties to the Atlas Wolfs. They were a terrorist group who seek world domination and the extinction of humans entirely. Their leader, Lupe, was on the FBI's most wanted list, dead or alive. The whole oil platform was one of their bases. "Halt," said Fuchs. "Enemy patrol up ahead."
"Ruff," said Chase silently. Out of his puppack was a pair of X-ray googles. Using them, he saw there was a small patrol of two up around the corner. "Alright, the bombs in place?" ask Chase, pulling out a trigger. Fuchs earlier placed a bunch of bombs on oil barrels and on their lifeboats.
"All ready to go," said Fuchs with a sarcastic grin. "Let's blow this place to hell," said Chase as he flips the switch. One by one, the bombs explode in a fire explosion. The lifeboats become completely useless as they were blown to bits. "What the fuck!?" cried a Russian guard as the patrol ran the corner to meet a rain of bullets. They were dead in seconds.
"Move out!" yelled chase. After quickly reloading, they move to find the command center, which speaking of, was in chaos. "there's an oil fire on the lower platform," cried one Montier while another yelled about the lifeboats. "We need to get off this platform," boomed Old Smith. He had an idea who it might be, but before he could do anything, a large explosion shook the entire room. And before he passed out, he saw two pups and a fox killing everyone.
"He's unconscious," said Chase as he lifted Old Smith on his back. "Alpha 0-1," said Fuchs. "Ready for exile." The three ran across the platform past burning fires and screaming guards. Finally, they reached the edge, but the helicopter was not there.
"Were's are exile?!" cry Chase. "The place is going to blow!" Fuchs was yelling angrily at his wrist phone before shutting it off. "they're still 2 miles away," said Fuchs. "Fuck! Then we jump," said Chase. Realizing they had no choice; they leap off the platform it exploded into a fireball. Luckly for them, they grab a ladder leading to their helicopter with their teeth.
Taking it slow, the three climb into the helicopter with their captive. "What's going on?" ask Old Smith. "Your worst nightmare," said Chase as he punches Old Smith in the face. "You rest," said an FBI agent as the two others walk Old Smith to the back.
Chase immediately popped open a beer and sat down to drink. Fuchs took out a cigar and began to smoke. Skye also passed out on the seat. Chase smiled when he saw that because deep down, he knew their judgement day was inevitable.
The copter flew for about 6 hours until arriving at the pentagon in Washington D.C. When getting off, they were greeted by the president aide. "Agents, the president is waiting for you," said the aide. The trio nod their heads and went to the "Bunker," a room in case of a nuclear war.
"You three did well today," said President Jack Clifton. He handed Chase a file with 3 of the most wanted people in the world. Lupe, Sweetie and his brother, Storm. Chase growled at the sound of his name. He wanted to find the bastard and rip him to pieces, but instead, he gave the file back to the president.
"So far..." said the president, "We have not been able to locate the stronghold off these terrorists, but we know of your personal history with the lead trio." Fuchs eyes darken. It also did not help with the smoke from his cigar. "When can we kill them all?" ask Chase, pulling out a revolver and setting it on the table. "Well, we want them alive or dead, but it's your call," said the president.
After an hour, the three collapsed in their 1-bedroom apartment. The government was paying for everything, from the monthly rent to their food. Fuchs was ordering Wendy's for them, while Skye and Chase sat on the couch, tired. The three had been though a lot. Chase could still remember more than a year ago, when Iranian terrorists bomb the lookout and hold them all hostage. Things went even crazier from there.
About a half hour later, their food arrived, and they sat down to watch tv. The three had gone an interested in war movies, but their favorite was the James Bond series. They turned on the final movie and sat down to eat their dinner. About an hour into the movie, Skye passed out laying her head on Chase's lap, who fell asleep while holding his laptop and Fuchs fell asleep on the tv remote.
4 HOURS EARLIER: Adventure Bay
"Try using your pie launcher again," said Koda, signing. The team got a call from Mr. Porter that a bear was raiding the store and he needed them to get it out. Rocky walks to his truck. The mission would have been easier if Chase and Ryder were here. The memory of Ryder made him sob up a bit, recalling a memory he had the first time with him.
"Ryder, Ryder!" cried the mixed breed as he ran through the lookout. The pup had made his first invention and wanted to show it to Ryder. Luckly for him, it was just him and Ryder. The other 3 were out at the beach. Taking the stairs, he walked inside the lab and found Ryder working on a phone. "What's that?" ask Rocky. Ryder turned around and looked down at the mixed breed. "A puppad to try to communicate with you guys," said Ryder. "But it's not wanting to work."
"This might help," said Rocky, giving Ryder a screwdriver. "What is it?" ask Ryder, puzzled. "It's a solar energy screwdriver," said Rocky. "I made it from an old normal screwdriver, a scrap of metal, and an old solar energy do it yourself kit." "It looks really nice," said Ryder. "And I see you use old parts to make it."
"Yeah, don't use it, reuse it!" said the happy mixed breed. Ryder tried the machine on his project and it surprisely work. "It works," said Ryder, smiling. "Mine if you want to help me?" The mixed breed waged his tail even faster. "Yes!" yelled Rocky as he began to work.
But things had changed since then, thought Rocky silently. Ryder was dead. Nothing could bring him back.
After an hour, they had gotten the bear back to the woods and had collapsed in the lookout's living area, exhausted. "What should we do?" asked a yawning Zuma. He was bored out of his skull. "What about Chase and Skye? Did they call today, Tracker?" ask Everest. Tracker sign, while Marshall growled. The Paw Patrol was divided on the subject. Tracker, Everest, and Koch supported them, while Marshall, Zuma, Rocky, and Rubble thought they were traditors. "No," sign Tracker. "They are probity still on a mission." Suddenly, the 6s pup tags beep, showing an incoming call. The pups made their way to the tv. Turning it on, it showed a familiar face. "Chase!" cried Tracker. Koch smiled as a sign of relief that the two were not dead yet. "Hi pups," said Chase. "I thought I might call in to see what you guys are up to." "What have YOU been doing?" ask Marshall. He was annoyed that he and Skye team up with their enemy. "Don't talk to me like that," said Chase in a harsh voice that silence Marshall quickly. "Nothing much, just more raids on terrorist bases." The pups talk with Chase for a while before they end the call for much needed sleep. Little did they know the war was about to come home.
