Marshall was shocked when he saw them up close. Skye and Fuchs looked fine, with minor cuts, but Chase had multiple cuts, including one on his face and had suffered a bullet wound to the shoulder. He could clearly tell Chase had gone through hell on that plane.
Katie decides to deal with Chase, since his wounds were more serious, while Marshall deals with Skyes and Fuchs, which he hated the idea of. "Relax man, I'm not going to hurt you," said Fuchs as Marshall patch up the cut on his back. Marshall did not reply. "What in the world did you do?" ask Katie as she pulled the bullet out of Chase's shoulder. "Maybe a combination of fighting terrorists with my evil brother out to get me," growled Chase. Rocky's eyes widen. "You have a brother?!" ask Rocky. "I'll tell you at the lookout," said Chase.
Because of the battle, their wounds and it was getting dark, they decided (despite Marshall's objections) that Chase, Skye, and Fuchs could stay at the lookout for the night. Koda drove the three to the lookout since Marshall will not drive them in his truck. After a few minutes' drive, they arrived. Rubble and Koda help carry Chase. "Why is he so heavy?" cry Rubble. "Thats pure muscle," said Koda. Rocky helped take Skye in, and Katie took Fuchs inside.
"Dude," said Chase, who was talking to Koda. "Mind if I have a beer?" "Sorry, Chase," said Koda. "I don't drink." "You drink?" ask Zuma. He was concerned for his friend. "Yes, and I'm fine, Zuma," said Chase. "I'm going to take a smoke," said Fuchs as he walks out the door. Meanwhile, Zuma shoved Rocky into a closet so they could talk.
"What is this for!?" yelled Rocky. "Shh!" yelled Zuma. "Keep it down." "I'm worried about Chase," said Zuma. "Why?" ask Rocky. "He's drinking man! That could kill him," said Zuma, shaking Rocky. "Alright, calm down," said Rocky. "I'll think of something."
Since there was no beer, Chase decided to drink some energy drinks, while Katie and Everest asked Chase about his life. "What do you do in between missions?" ask Katie as she gave him some dinner, which he nearly devoured in a minute. "We usually hang out in our apartment, watching tv or challenging each other to strength contests, which Me and Fuchs always win," said Chase.
Everest was happy to talk to Chase in Person. He had been gone for 6 months now. Tracker was also happy to see him.
Meanwhile, Marshall was sitting in his room, in his thoughts. "Why did they have to come here?" thought Marshall angrily. Marshall then recalled a memory so sad, it made him cry.
FLASHBACK: 2 YEARS AGO
"Why does Chase want me up here?" ask Marshall as he walked up the steep hill outside of town. Chase had asked Marshall to meet him here. Soon, he arrives at what seems like a small altar. "Hello, I been waiting for you," said Chase. "Follow me."
Marshall followed him onto the altar and Chase began talking in a weird tone. "Hold out your paw and begin the ritual," said Chase, holding out his paw. "Ok," said a weird out Marshall. But what he did not expect was Chase to pull out a knife and cut them both.
"Why did you do that?" ask Marshall. Chase did not respond. "I proclaim this brotherhood, forever, I Chase agree, do you agree to this," Chase asks Marshall. Marshall suddenly realizes what this was. "Yes, I agree," said Marshall. "Then this bond will never be broken," said Chase as they let go.
PRESENT DAY
Marshall cry up. He broke that special bond with Chase. He had to repair the bond, but he was sure he would not accept an apology. He counited to think about it. Suddenly, his ears perk up. "I got it," said Marshall. He ran out of his room to find Chase. After a little searching, he found him.
"Hey Chase," said Marshall. Chase looked up from his wristphone. "What do you want?" he asks. "I want to show you something, but we have to drive," said Marshall. "Sure," said Chase. As they walked to his pickup truck, Marshall made sure he remembered the spot. "Why are those two leaving?" ask Koda as the two left. "Marshall taking Chase to show him something," said Katie, who was talking to Fuchs about his life.
Meanwhile, deep in the forest, there was a camp. A camp full of rebellious canines who were waiting to see their leader. Soon, their leader, Lupe, came out. He had survived the airplane battle and had bandages on his chest, head, and left leg. He was furious that the team foiled their plans again. Soon, the three he wanted to see came into his tent. "Storm, Sweetie and Artemis, glad you made it," said Lupe. Artemis walks over and kisses him. Storm and Sweetie were also in bad condition, too. Sweetie had multiple cuts from glass and Storm had stab wounds and a black eye from his fight with Chase.
"Why do you want us here for?" ask Storm. "It's time for me to tell you about are master plan," said Lupe, smiling. "What is this, master plan, of yours?" ask Sweetie. "Simple," said Lupe as he lay a map of the world on the ground. "From our headquarters in New York," said Lupe, "We will latch a nuclear missile to Russia and the U.S and Russia will blow themselves apart, bit at this time we'll have to move to England to escape the blast zones."
"Pretty simple," said Sweetie. "But how do we get the nuclear warheads, thought." "They will have to come from England," but a rich man name Sir William has a couple moving to the U.S in two days," said Lupe. "We'll kidnap him in Adventure City tomorrow," said Lupe, rolling out a map of the building. "We'll storm the building, kill everyone expect him and we'll get the warheads."
Meanwhile, Marshall had arrived at the hill where the altar was and was walking up the hill with Chase, who was blindfolded. "Why am I blindfolded?" Chase asked. "You'll see," said Marshall. Soon, they were on the altar and Marshall took off the blindfold. Chase, when he regained his eyesight, was shock to see the old altar and then, Marshall slit their paws. "What dud?" said Chase. "Why did you do that!?"
"I broke the special bond," said Marshall, holding out his paw. "I have to fix it." Chase then realized what Marshall was doing. "I proclaim this brotherhood, forever and ever," said Marshall, who was doing his best to remember the ritual. "I, Marshall, agree to this, do you agree?" Chase was in total shock. He figured Marshall was upset about being an asshole to him, but he never thought he would take this far.
"Why?" Chase ask Marshall. "I was being such a jerk that I realize I broke the bond we did, so I have to fix it," said Marshall. "Now, hold paws and do you agree?" "I agree," said Chase. Marshall was glad he was his happy self and not his all-out serious self. "Then this bond will never be broken," said Marshall as they let go.
"You know, I probity should stop drinking," said Chase. "You should," said Marshall, who started to laugh. "Wait," said Chase that made Marshall stop. "I hear, more canines," said Chase. "Follow me." The two crept through the woods until they reached a large clearing, filled with tents. There were also stockpiles of guns everywhere, with many canines. "This is Lupe's camp," growled Chase. "Hey, Marshall, do you have a box of matches?" "Yeah," said Marshall. "Why?"
"We're going to burn this camp to the ground," said Chase, pulling out his bowie knife and a revolver. "Are you sure?" Marshall ask Chase. "Yes," said Chase as he slide down the cliff. "Give me a match," said Chase. Marshall took one out of the box and gave it to Chase. "Let it burn," said Chase as he dropped the match. The tent went up in flames instantly.
"Now onto Lupe, Sweetie, and Storm," said Chase as he ran to the tent, he knows they were in. Meanwhile, the three were still talking when they heard the screaming. "What is all of that about?!" ask Sweetie as she walked to the door. But when she tried to open it, she got the door in her face instead, sending her straight into Storm. "It's Chase!" yelled Lupe as Chase fired 3 rounds into his thigh, forcing him to limp away.
"Chase, what are you doing..." said Marshall as he looked at the scene. Sweetie, who has gotten back up, growled at Marshall. Storm had also gotten back up and pulled out his matchee. "Marshall, run," said Chase. Marshall did not even object. He booked it, with Sweetie following him. "Wish to die?" ask Storm with an evil grin. "Yes, I do with yours," said Chase as he pulled out his bowie knife and jump at Storm, getting him by surprise and causing the both to tumble down the cliff.
Marshall, meanwhile, was running for his life from Sweetie, who was firing a SCAR assault rifle at him. "I need to do something," said Marshall, panicking. Then, the realization came to him. "The matches!" cry Marshall. One by one, he lit each one and dropped them as he ran, creating a forest fire. "I need to get out of here!" cry Sweetie as she ran off.
Meanwhile, Chase and Storm's struggle had gotten inside the camp, which was now a blazing ruin. "Die!" cry Storm as he swung his blade, which Chase barely avoided it. Chase decided to punch Storm in the face, knocking him out. Now his only problem was there was a massive forest fire surrounding him and soon escape would be impossible. "The river would be my best choice," said Chase as he ran down the river.
Meanwhile, at the lookout, Koda and Katie were already worried for Chase and Marshall when a call from Mayor Goodway came in. "Hello, Mayor Goodway, why are you up so late?" Koda asked. "There's a massive forest fire and it's growing rapidly," yelled the concern mayor. "Worst, we heard gunshots." "We're on it," said Koda. "Paw Patrol, to the lookout," said Koda.
"It's Lupe and his gang," said Fuchs, who had just woken up. "I have a bad feeling Chase and Marshall ran into him." The others did not know about the fire and were wondering one, why Koda was calling them so late and two, where Chase and Marshall were, as they had not returned home. Their fears took a turn for the worse when they saw it was ultimate fire rescue gear. When arriving at the top, Zuma asked Koda where they were.
"Where are Chase and Marshall?" Zuma asked. "That's part of the issue, pups," said Koda. "There's a massive forest fire and we're afraid Chase and Marshall are inside." "Are mission being simple. Stop the fire," said Koda. The 6 did not sit around. They got into their new fire combat vehicles and drove to the forest.
Meanwhile, Marshall had just gotten back to his truck when he realized Chase was still in there. So, he put on his fireproof combat suit (a gift from him) and ran back inside. For Chase, things did not look good. The fire had gotten tighter and soon there would not be an exit. He struggled to run, but the smoke hurt his lungs. But there was a loud cracking sound and when he turned to look, a large tree was falling and was going to crush him. But there was no escape path, so he did the next best thing. He jumped into the river.
For the Paw Patrol, they had just arrived and were shaken by the sight of it. "This fire's huge," cry Rubble. "Skye, water bomb the forest," yelled Koda. "On it," said Skye as her jet race towards the fire. "Out goes the birds," said Skye as the water flow down from her plan onto the fire below.
It took the rest of the night for them to battle and kill the fire. So, in the morning, searching parties led by Marshall went into the woods to look for survivors. It was a while before they found the only survivor. "Here's someone!" cry one of the searching parties. Marshall ran over and could not believe his eyes.
It was Chase. Knock out cold, but alive. "We need to get him back to the lookout," said Marshall as the searching party lift him onto a stretcher and out of the woods. But little did they know, someone else had survived and he wanted his revenge.
