AN: I'm still alive and have been reading your reviews as they pop in to my inbox letting me know if new and returning readers that remind me to continue with this even though I had no desire to write for awhile. No idea why just had absolutely no desire or drive in general. I probably had used all my spoons by the tie I got around to opening my laptop to be 'productive' that day/night.

Again to those of you that continue to stick with this story and my other ones thank you. To those of you with your reviews (that aren't rude) again thank you. I adore you all.

Again I own nothing except the plot and all spelling/grammatical errors. That shit is all mine. Too Bad i cant get rich off that...

"I wasn't. Bitten I mean." David began quietly. "Last week my old man had kicked me out for the night as I wouldn't get him another bottle. He has recently developed a major drinking habit in the last month. I was studying for the history test we had on Thursday as I am on the cusp of being placed on academic probation already. Anyway I was on my way to see if I could crash at Cuthburt's when I was hit from behind. Just before I passed out I felt a pinch before what felt like fire being injected into my neck. I woke up in the middle of the night in the old park a few blocks from my house. I was able to stumble back home and sneak back up to my room before passing out again. I thought it was just a really bad dream when I woke up the next morning and shrugged the whole thing off."

Ray gently tossed David a bottle of water as the teen's voice had started to sound scratchy and hoarse.

"Thank you." David whispered out before opening the bottle and draining half the contents in one go.

"What happened this afternoon? Take me through what you remember before you shifted and what you can remember before I forced you to sleep."

"I was in the weight room after school trying to blow off some steam and restless energy. I seemed, I dunno, angrier than normal. I was in the locker room about to get dressed when I felt a stabbing pain in my head. I remember falling to my knees groaning in pain as I clutched my head. Next thing I know it felt like I was being ripped inside out."

Ray paled at his words as her mind raced but encouraged him to continue.

"I was so disoriented that I didn't notice the change right away. I was on the floor panting trying to catch my breath as the pain receded and that's when the voice filtered through my mind. Freaked me the fuck out Berry. That's when I noticed that I was no longer in a human body."

"This voice, did it sound familiar at all?"

"No but it also didn't sound old like a parent would if that makes sense."

Ray nodded before asking her next question.

"What did the voice say or tell you to do?"

David grimaced and a small ripple of fear and revulsion went through him

"It told me that I had been blessed with this privilege by our masters and that they had a task for me to complete. Of course I'm freaking out that there is this other guy's voice in my head that I'm snarling and growling out loud. I'm honestly surprised that nobody noticed. I managed to think back a reply that I wasnt going to to do fuck all as this wasnt something I wanted and they got so angry and told me that I didnt have a choice in the matter. That's when I was commanded to find and attack Quinn Fabray." David quickly finished his tale as Ray let out a vicious growl.

"On my way to the choir room it felt like I wasn't in control of my body. The sound of you and your brother's footsteps broke whatever hold it was they had on my body and I was able to fight against the order to attack. The last thing I remember the voice yelling in my head was that it wasn't over and they would try again, that I would never be safe or free of them. I don't know what you did but you forced them out, but they also sounded afraid as they gave their last threats. The last thing I remember is you telling me to sleep. What the hell is going on?"

"You're a werewolf that had been Alpha commanded to attack Quinn after you had your inner wolf forcibly ripped from your metaphysical self by a vampire that can control wolves." Ray replied in a tired voice as her mind whirred in about ten different directions.

"How do I stop it from happening again?" David asked after processing Ray's answer for a few minutes.

"Which part?"

"The voices and the loss of control."

"At the moment you can't. I forced them out once but in a few days they will try again. What I can do is put up a shield in your mind and work with you so you can develop your own. I'm sorry to say that you will always be bonded to me until one of us dies. It wasn't my intention for the bond to happen but in my need to protect Quinn it happened. Close your eyes and relax for me. As soon as we do this I will take you upstairs where we can have something to eat and get ready for the game."

David nodded before closing his eyes as requested. Once his body settled he felt the gentle presence of Ray in his mind. He wasn't exactly sure what she did but when she disappeared he suddenly felt much safer and calmer than he had before.

Closing her eyes Ray was able to instantly slip inside David's mind having established the connection earlier. She took a quick look around his mindscape, assessing where he was vulnerable to attacks be it head on or subtle sneak attacks. She quickly built impenetrable walls that were warded and laced with both metaphysical vervain and wolfsbane. As it was his mind David would be safe from the wolfsbane but if another wolf, an Alpha, attempted to breach his mind they would end up with some nasty burns upon their own psyche. A vampire would have the same experience if they attempted to force their way in as well. She checked on his wolf as well, ensuring that no damage had been done, gently calming the animal with a promise to help it bond with David as they worked on protecting his mind from attacks. With a gentle headbutt and nuzzle of acceptance, the wolf returned to its Den. Ray gently pulled back from David leaving him to enjoy the calm for a few minutes. She pulled out her cell phone and sent her father a text for him to meet her in the medical room with Brittnay. Seconds later he replied that they would be there in two minutes. Ray got up and unlocked the cell that David was in before gesturing for him to follow her.

"Later tonight I will work with you in bonding with the wolf inside you. Once you have bonded you will feel calmer and more in control. You will also be able to communicate with one another. The wolf will be able to tell you when danger is near. Always trust your instincts, they will keep you alive. But for now we are making a stop so my father can take a blood sample from you as I think you will be more than just a wolf. I'll be honest David, it sounds like they are trying to create some sort of superwolf. The moon isn't for another two weeks and they were able to force a change that shouldn't be possible. My father should be able to analyze what they injected you with. He will want to test your reflexes as well and make sure that you are otherwise healthy. Once he is done we will get some food in you and head back to McKinley for the game."

"I dont have my game day clothes." David replied a few minutes after he had digested what Ray had said.

"It's fine. We have clothes here for you."

David followed his captain up the stairs and through the house. Just as she had told him, her father drew a few vials of blood and tested his reflexes and gave a basic examination.

"It seems that there hasn't been any ill effects physically from his forced transformations. I suspect the forced sleep you put him in earlier helped with the trauma of his first shift. He is cleared for the game tonight but I would like to examine him once again when you both come back tonight after the game."

"That's up to David. I don't speak for him. Personally I think he would be safer staying here for a few days at the very least but it's entirely his decision." Ray commented softly.

"I think that I would like to stay until I can at least get this under control. As much as I don't like my father, I don't want to hurt him because of what I am now." David replied after thinking over his options for a few minutes.

Ray nodded before turning to look at Brittany with a raised eyebrow who in turn closed her eyes and concentrated. David watched in awe as Brittany's hair swirled around and began to glow and glitter slightly.

Brittany opened her eyes with a smile. She bounced over to Ray giving the vampire a hug before skipping out of the room humming to herself.

"What was that?" David whispered.

"That was Ducky using her magic to pack a month's worth of your clothes, books and items that you use on an everyday basis. If you need more or different items we can always go back. Right now everything is sitting in your room in bags ready to be grabbed which we can do on our way to the game tonight. Brittany will ward your house so your father will be safe from these people."

"Thank you."

"You're welcome. Now let's go eat. I don't know about you but I'm starving."

After a semi awkward dinner the ragtag group drove back to the school, stopping by David's place, grabbing the packed bags while Brittany warded his home as promised.

It was currently the second half of the game and McKinley was trailing behind by three. Ray was dressed in extra padding around her rib cage to appease Coach Bieste even though Ray had been given the all clear to play as her 'injury' had healed and stitches removed a week ago. Ray was annoyed that Bieste had started Sam first in their home opener and felt that it was fitting that due to her decision that he was taken out by West Lima's defense. Sam had been taken off the field on a stretcher. Luckily enough there was no permanent injury but his shoulder had been dislocated and the Blonde had passed out from the pain of landing on it. Ray was brought in after Sam had been sacked on the 2nd down.

"Alright boys we are running the oop-de-oop. We are going to force them to cover both Puckerman and Chang one on one."

"What? No! That will leave you open to be sacked." Noah argued.

"Noah," Ray sighed before continuing. "I can handle being tackled. I am not made of glass, never have been. Besides, they would need to be able to catch me before I throw the ball. Put your trust into Azimio, Karofsky and the others to be able to push them back from the middle. What I need from you is a teammate and not a worried over protective brother, what I need is for you to run your scrawny ass off and get into position to catch the damn ball if Mike isn't open."

"My ass isn't scrawny." Puck muttered indignantly causing the group huddle to laugh.

"Titans on three. 1 - 2 -3,"

"TITANS!"

The huddle broke and the players took their position on the field. McKinley was inside their own 30 and on their third down. Ray called for the hike after a few moments of waiting letting her team settle while West Lima got anxious waiting. Easily dancing around the attempts to tackle her, Ray fired a bullet into Mike Chang's hands at the fifty yard line, who in turn managed to gain another ten yards before he was forced out of bounds. Momentum back on their side, the Titans slowly moved the ball gaining ground and scored the touchdown and then converted the field goal for the extra three points. West Lima battled back and tied the game in the last minutes of the game. West Lima dragged ass after punting the ball that had been caught in the McKinley twenty and the Titan's receiver kneeled down for getting the whistle in an attempt to run out the clock and force overtime. Ray then pulled a move from the movie Varsity Blues and immediately fired the ball at West Lima's Mascot to stop the clock.

"What do you want to run Cap? We got twenty seconds left before overtime." Karofsky asked as the team huddled in their own end zone."

"I need you, Adams and Wilson to give me enough room to be able to move. Mike and Noah I need you two to get on your horses and run. It's the Reverse Blitz play that we practiced. They will be overloading their line to come in mass at me leaving one of you open while they scramble to cover the other."

"What about the other two that won't be covered?"

"If I'm in the right position, they will end up tackling each other. Or at least one will be chasing the fake hand off to Scotts." Ray replied. "All I need is ten seconds of time, the rest is up to the rest of you guys. Even if I have to run the ball myself there is no way we are letting this go into overtime."

Ray's words were met with cheers and 'hell yeahs'.

"Alright let's do this boys, you know what to do. 1 - 2 -3,"

"TITANS!"

As soon as Ray called for the ball, time slowed down for her. She fell back five yards and faked the hand-off as she evaded an attempted tackle that had slipped through allowing her to move up as her defenders pushed the line back gaining back the yardage she had sacrificed. Seeing her brother open, Ray jumped back from two flying tackles that crashed into one another and fired off a Hail Mary pass that landed in Puck's hands at the five yard line allowing him to run down the remaining yards, scoring the touchdown. The home crowd roared.

It had been hard fought, but McKinley had earned their win. Ray grinned as she watched Noah come running up to her where she waited at the fifty yard line. Ray laughed as her brother picked her up and spun her around.

"Put me down Noah," Ray laughed out. "We have handshakes to get through. We can celebrate after."

Almost an hour later found the same group back at the Berry-Puckerman manor, with both Puck's and Ray's arms full of Chinese food and pizza. The Berry men had called in both orders knowing that the teens would be famished after the game even though they had eaten dinner before the game. Ray and Quinn were greeted by an exasperated but still amused LeRoy and a very tired Beth as the former carried the latter in his arms as she rubbed her tired eyes.

"Someone wouldn't go to bed no matter how tired they are. She did fall asleep a couple of times but woke up crying. This last time she refused to go back to bed. I think she may be having night terrors due to the events earlier today causing her to remember what had happened at the daycare."

Karofsky hung his head in shame at having traumatized the little girl.

"It's not your fault David. You didn't ask or want this to happen to you. You even tried to fight against what was happening to you." Ray quietly told the teen who was standing beside her. "We will talk about this later when I help you with your mind and wolf. But for now take these to the kitchen ." Ray gave the teen the bags of food that she had been carrying knowing that he felt the need to leave the room.

Ray turned around and was greeted with the sight of Beth cuddled into her mother sucking on her thumb as she watched the vampire. Ray walked over to the mother daughter duo and gently ran her fingers through the tiny blonde's hair.

"It's ok now Beth. Your momma and I are here so you can go to sleep now." Ray whispered to the toddler before kissing the top of her head.

"Daddy can you go grab Beth's teddy bear from my room? Seems Quinn and I need to 're-scent' the one in her room if it didn't work for you to calm her down."

"That's why she kept trying to go up the stairs to your room." LeRoy muttered in amused exasperation as he quickly left the room in a quiet 'woosh' of displaced air before immediately returning in less than a minute with the aforementioned bear that normally sat in the playpen in Ray's room.

Ray gestured for LeRoy to give the bear to Beth and when the little girl looked over at Ray, the vampire smiled softly and nodded her head indicating that it was safe for the tiny blonde to take the bear. Once Beth had the bear in her arms she immediately snuggled into it as best as she could while still in Quinn's arms and sucking on her thumb. Ray smiled in amusement as her Daddy shook his head ruefully when just minutes later the tiny tot was sound asleep.

"I should have known that there was something in your room that she wanted to feel safe considering the bond she has with you." LeRoy muttered to his adopted daughter. "I tried using a few of Quinn's things like the small throw blanket on the footboard and the old zip-up hoodie on the chair and little Beth wasn't having it."

"I didn't realize that her bear in her room no longer smelled like me or I would have made sure to take care of that before we left for the game. She normally only really cuddles into it after a stressful day or when she is fussy in her sleep Quinn or I tuck the bear in beside her and she calms or if she wakes from bad dreams the bear helps her go back to sleep. Looks like I'm cuddling with a teddy bear for a few nights before leaving it in her playpen in my room."

LeRoy laughed softly as he mentally pictured the 400 year old vampire cuddling with a teddy bear. Knowing what her daddy was laughing at, Ray shot him a quick glare that made him laugh even harder and leave the room before he woke Beth up. Ray sighed before she gestured for Quinn to go ahead of her, ignoring the teasing smirk on the cheerleader's face.

After everyone had eaten their fill of pizza and Chinese food Ray and Hiram slipped away to talk in her room as everyone else was watching a movie. Ray poured them both a drink before she patiently waited for her father to begin.

"It's amazing and excruciatingly frightening at the same time." Hiram began after he took a healthy swallow to settle his nerves. What they injected him with is a combination of the venom of an actual werewolf and the venom of a wolf shifter with a few additional properties that I haven't quite deciphered as of yet. But the genome mapping that I have completed so far," Hiram shuddered as he knocked back the rest of his drink before quickly pouring himself another and bright the bottle back with him. "It looks like they are trying to recreate the Lycan genome or at least are trying to create a superior version of one."

Ray crushed the glass in her hand in response to the shiver of fear that went through her.

"How? The last of the lycans were exterminated 350 years ago. Entire bloodlines, villages and even cities were wiped out just to ensure that none remained." Ray exclaimed as she began picking the embedded glass out of her hand before her father took over for her having grabbed the mini first aid kit in her bathroom.

"That's just it, I don't know. What I do know is that in the sequence there is none of the original genetic material of the original species so at least there is that. I think that whoever is behind this experimentation has used alchemy to fuse the two venom strains together while removing or at least nullifying the moon trigger. David is the size of a full grown wolf but smaller, by far much smaller actually than the shifters, they are like the size of a Clydesdale. So far what i can tell from what I have been able to unravel from the blood sample and what you and David have told me is that curse part that comes with being a traditional werewolf has been circumvented via the injection, isn't restricted to only changing during a full moon though this could have been just a one off but i highly doubt that simply due to the presence of the shifter venom. It's the unknown that is what concerns me, beyond the norm. We have no idea if he is immune to wolfsbane, will he be resistant to silver, will his temperament fall under the usual pertaining to weres will it be less, will it be worse and finally will extreme emotion be the trigger for his changes or will it be a matter of will? And that is just the immediate thing I can think of. I don't want to turn David into a lab rat or make him feel like one either but for his safety a couple of tests need to be run."

"Well one thing that I can answer for you is that silver on contact has no effect upon skin contact. David wears a small silver chain that he got from his grandfather but as for how it would react with his blood, who knows. Have you tested it with vampire blood?" noticing her fathers grim look, Ray nodded. "That bad huh. Did you just test it against yours and daddy's blood?" Hiram nodded in the affirmative. "Did you have any samples of mine and Noah's to test against? You said yourself that Noah and I are different as we have never killed to feed that and with the Fae blood…" Ray trailed off letting her father think it over as she got up to throw out the broken glass and burn the paper towels that had been used.

She heard her father leave the room as she was burning the soiled paper products and minutes later he was back drawing blood from her. He had stopped to draw a sample from Noah as well.

"Oh by the way David passed out so your daddy carried him to the guest room. Noah was heading to his room and the girls have all gone to bed as well."

"Well it has been a long and eventful day all around so I'm not surprised that everyone has decided to go to bed, even I'm exhausted."

Hiram bade his childe goodnight leaving her to her thoughts. Ray quickly stripped out of her clothes and quickly got into her shower to relax her aching muscles as the day finally caught up to her. Having washed away the grime and stress of the day, Ray dressed in a pair of boxers and a tank top to sleep in and exited her bathroom only to stop and stare while trying to will her cock to calm down. During Ray's shower Quinn had come to Ray's room wearing panties and a cami top and was currently laying on the bed waiting for the vampire.

AN 2: So, yes there are similarities to other takes on the supernatural, that being said I dont intend to have this turn into a x-over. Till next time my sexy readers.
