That night Oliver's party was going on. It was packed like the old party's he used to throw when he was just a playboy. Oliver walked outside and onto the small stage. He motioned for the DJ to shut the music off. The DJ shut the music off. "Hi everybody" Oliver shouted out to the crowd. "Hey" they all yelled back. Quentin watched the display and shook his head. "I'm very touched that you came to celebrate with me before I am sent up the river" Oliver said. The crowd booed. "The closet neighbors are 6 miles away so don't worry about the noise. Actually on second thought" Oliver said as the music started to play again. "Let's wake those losers up" Oliver shouted. The crowd cheered and everyone started dancing again. Quentin looked around unimpressed. Oliver jumped off the stage and Diggle walked up to him.
"If this is what you think prison is like you are in for a rude awakening" Diggle asked. They walked into the house.
Quentin looked for Oliver but didn't see him. He walked deeper into the crowd but was stopped by someone touching his arm. He turned around and saw Felicity standing there. "Felicity" Quentin said looking at his daughter.
"We need to talk" she said walking away from the crowd. Quentin followed her. They got to a corner that was quieter.
"Felicity look I know…" Quentin started to say but Felicity interrupted him.
"Laurel told me what happened" she said.
Quentin sighed. "Honey you don't understand" he said. Felicity shook her head.
"What don't I understand? That you are accusing Oliver of being this vigilante because you don't like him" she said.
Quentin shook his head. "That's not what I'm doing. The evidence is against him. I wish you could see the kind of person Oliver Queen is" Quentin said.
"I know the kind of person Oliver is. He's a good person who has a huge heart who you've never even been willing to give a chance" Felicity said.
"This has nothing to do with how I feel about Oliver or the fact that you two are together. This has to do with the fact that he is a cold blooded murderer" Quentin said.
Felicity shook her head. "He's not who you say he is and even if he was would that be so bad" Felicity asked.
Quentin nodded. "Yes it would. He is killing people Felicity. What don't you understand about that" he asked.
"The only reason I'm standing here right now is because of that vigilante. He's saved my life more than once. Maybe if you could look past what you believe you'd see that he is actually doing this city a favor" Felicity said.
Quentin looked at his daughter shocked. "You can't be serious" he said.
She nodded. "I am" she said. She took a deep breath. "Look dad. I don't want to fight with you anymore. Oliver's not who you think he is and no matter what you say or do he's going to be in my life" she said.
Quentin shook his head. "He's dangerous Felicity" he said.
"Not to me" Felicity said walking away.
Oliver and Diggle were in Oliver's room. Oliver was holding the phone that was tracking Leo Muller. "Muller's cars been parked in the warehouse district of the glades for 45 minutes" Oliver said handing the phone to Diggle.
"That's a good place for an arms deal" Diggle said handing the phone back to Oliver. Oliver put it away. "OK since this is going down tonight, what do we do? Drop a dime on Muller with the cops" Diggle asked.
"No. The man in the hood. He's going to stop them" Oliver answered.
"Oliver you can't leave the house" Diggle said.
"It doesn't have to be me in the hood" Oliver said.
Diggle just stared at Oliver not saying anything. Realization finally hit him. "That's why you threw this ridiculous party" Diggle asked. Oliver didn't say anything. "So you have a hundred witnesses placing you here at the house while I'm supposed to be across town dressed as the vigilante" Diggle said.
"I thought that it was going to be good enough just for you to be seen in the hood" Oliver said.
"I didn't count on Muller showing up and I didn't count on the possibility that the glades could be flooded with machine guns" Oliver said. Diggle shook his head. Oliver was unbelievable. "Look, I promise it was never my intention to put you in harms way" Oliver said.
"Oliver I didn't think joining your crusade was ever going to be risk free. I just don't like being played. Now you might have gotten used to lying to everyone else in your life but I'm the one guy you don't lie to" Diggle said.
Oliver nodded. "You're right. I'm sorry" he said. Diggle shook his head again and walked past Oliver. Oliver turned around. "So am I going to jail" he asked.
Diggle stopped walking and turned around. He shook his head. "No man. I won't do that to Felicity. I've got to stop an arms deal" Diggle said. Oliver nodded. Diggle left the room. Oliver sat down on his bed. He looked at the photo of him and Felicity on the nightstand. It was from prom night. He smiled sadly. Everything was simpler back then.
Across the city at Argus, Tommy and Laurel were waiting in the lobby. "So what are we doing here again" Tommy asked.
"I have some files that I have to pick up on someone I'm representing for Argus. It won't take long then we can head to Oliver's party" Laurel said. Amanda Waller walked into the room with a file in her hands.
"Mrs. Lance, thank you for your patience. Here are the files you requested" Amanda Waller said handing Laurel the files. She looked at Tommy. "You must be Mr. Merlyn" Amanda Waller said holding out her hand for Tommy to shake. He shook it.
"Mr. Merlyn is my father. It's just Tommy" he said.
Amanda nodded and turned back to Laurel. "I trust you have everything you need to get Mr. Mann off" she said.
Laurel looked through the files and nodded. "This should be good" she said.
Amanda smiled at her. "Perfect. I expect to hear back from you soon" Amanda said.
"I'll keep in touch" Laurel said. Her and Tommy left the building.
Back at Oliver's party, Oliver walked up to the bar. He signaled for the bartender to pour him a drink. Felicity walked up to him. He gave her a sad smile. "Hello" he said. He looked her up and down. She was wearing a tight blue dress that showed off her body amazingly and her hair was down. "You look beautiful" Oliver said.
Felicity smiled at him. "Do you think we could talk somewhere a little more quiet" Felicity asked. Oliver nodded. He led her up to his room. He opened the door and allowed her to walk in. "This will do" Felicity said as Oliver closed the door.
"Sorry about the mess. I wasn't expecting you too be up here. Actually I wasn't expecting you here at all" he said.
Felicity looked around. He had some clothes on the floor and his bed wasn't made but other then that it wasn't bad. "Yea I wasn't sure if I was coming but I figured I should come being your girlfriend and all. Oliver I think we should talk" Felicity said.
Oliver smiled at her. "You really do look beautiful" he said.
"Thank you" Felicity said. Oliver walked up to her.
"Listen, I want to apologize for my father's behavior today" Felicity said.
Oliver shook his head. "You don't have to apologize for him. He was just doing his job and he has a right to feel anyway that he wants" he said.
Felicity sighed. "It wasn't just him doing his job Oliver" Felicity said.
Oliver looked at her confused. "What do you mean" he asked.
Felicity sighed. "He doesn't like you. He never has and he doesn't like that we're together. The ways he's treating you has more to do with how he feels than him actually believing you're the vigilante. I'm sorry Oliver. You don't deserve that especially after everything you've been through" Felicity said tears about to fall.
Oliver gently touched her face. "Hey it's OK. It's not you're fault" Oliver said.
Felicity gave him a soft smile. "Oliver we need to talk about what you said to me at the station. About you feeling guilty for me losing our daughter" she said. Oliver removed his hand and walked away from Felicity.
"I don't want to" Oliver said not looking at Felicity.
Felicity walked in front of Oliver. She could see that he was about to cry. He tried to say something but the words wouldn't come out. Felicity grabbed his face and forced him to look at her. "What happened to our baby, to our daughter, it wasn't your fault" Felicity said.
Oliver shook his head. "Why don't you hate me" he asked. He moved Felicity's hands off his face. "You should. I've brought you nothing but pain. It'd be better if we never got together in the first place" Oliver said.
Felicity shook her head. "That's not true. When you were gone I spiraled. I was in darkness and I couldn't find my way back to the light" Felicity said.
Oliver nodded. "That's exactly what I mean. I never deserved you and we're both kidding ourselves into believing I could ever be half the man you deserve" he said.
Felicity shook her head. "You've always been the man I deserve" Felicity said.
"Felicity I don't know if that's true anymore. The island changed me" Oliver said.
Felicity shook her head. "Whatever you went through it doesn't matter" she said putting a hand to his chest. "You're scars don't scare me. You didn't deserve what happened to you on that island" Felicity said.
Oliver grabbed her hand. "You're the reason I made it through everything I did on the island" he said.
Felicity stroked his face with her hands. "Oliver is there something you need to tell me" she asked. She was pretty sure Oliver was the vigilante but she needed to hear it from him. Oliver just looked at her. He wanted to tell her so bad. He loved her so much. He was just scared if she knew everything, all of his darkness she would look at him differently. "No matter what it is I'll still be here. I'll still love you" Felicity said. Oliver didn't know if that was true. How could someone as good and special as Felicity love someone as dark and damaged as he was?
"Are you sure because I've done some unforgivable things" Oliver asked.
Felicity nodded. "Yes. I'm here Oliver. I'm always going to be here. I promise" Felicity said.
Oliver unbuttoned his shirt. He brought her hands to his scars. "I was tortured on the island. I had to fight to survive" Oliver looked away ashamed. "I killed people. I struggled to survive everyday" Oliver said.
Felicity traced her hand over his scars. "How did you survive" Felicity asked.
Oliver gently stroked her face. "There were times when I wanted to die. When I was at my lowest point I heard you're voice telling me not to give up and to fight to survive. You're my light Felicity. You always have been. You guided me home" Oliver said. Oliver and Felicity looked at each other for a moment then their lips met in a passionate kiss. Oliver picked Felicity up and brought her over to the bed. Felicity pulled Oliver's shirt off his shoulders and Oliver got Felicity out of her dress and they had had sex with each other not caring about the party going on outside.
Downstairs Tommy and Laurel arrived at Oliver's party hand in hand. "This party just feels very inappropriate" Laurel said as her and Tommy walked into the mansion.
Tommy nodded. "I agree but This is what Oliver wanted to do seeing as he's confined to the house" he said.
They continued walking through the party until Laurel stopped her husband. "Tommy I have to ask. What's going on with you and Oliver? The other week you wanted me and Becca to stay away from him now you and Oliver are friends again" she said.
Tommy shrugged his shoulders. "We just had a little bit of a disagreement that's all. We're working on our friendship" he answered.
"Is everything OK" she asked.
Tommy nodded. "Yea everything's fine. You don't need to worry about a thing" he said.
"Are you sure? It just seems like you changed your mind really quickly about Oliver. If there's wrong with Oliver I need to know for Felicity's sake" Laurel said.
Tommy smiled at his wife and pulled her close to him. "Nothing's wrong with Oliver I promise. Now what do you say we just enjoy our night out" he said. Laurel put on a smile and nodded. Tommy kissed his wife. "I love you" he said.
Laurel smiled at him. "I love you too" she said. Tommy hugged her and the smile faded from her face. She knew Tommy was lying to her about Oliver. Something was definitely wrong with him. Maybe her father was right about him. Whatever it was she knew Tommy knew what was going on with Oliver and he just lied to her about it. Tommy pulled back and looked at Laurel. He hated lying to her but unfortunately he had to. He knew that Oliver was the vigilante and he knew if Laurel found out that would put her and Becca in danger. As much as he hated it, he had to keep lying to Laurel for hers and Becca's sake.

Oliver was still tied to the pole. "Amazing. You have resolve I didn't credit you for" Edward Fyres said to Oliver. Oliver just glared at him. "Perhaps he truly doesn't know anything. You should put him out of his misery" Edward said to the man in the mask. Edward walked to the front of the tent but was surprised when someone punched him sending him to the floor. The man in the mask turned around and saw a man in a hood run into the tent. The man in the hood shot an arrow at the rope that was tying Oliver to the pole. Oliver fell to the floor. The man in the hood shot an arrow at the man in the mask but the man in the mask caught it right before it hit his eye. He snapped the arrow in half and threw it to the ground. He took out his sword and started fighting with the man in the hood. The man in the hood was able to get the better of him and ran to Oliver helping him up. The man in the mask was getting up as the man in the hood lead Oliver out of the tent.
