Wow, welcome back. Just so everyone knows: book 2 ends at about chapter 98. I am working on chapter 95 right now and it sounds pretty close though it could go a chapter or two more.
The last chapter (39) did not show up on notifications from Fan Fiction so I don't know if this one will or not so be aware.
I want to thank everyone who has read, alerted, faved, followed and or reviewed this so far. And since we mentioned reviews, here we go: Uberscribbler, good, I like tension that 'oozes'. Dynamite? I'll see what I can do. Nothing left of Ron? Maybe; GjAgent, Monique is trying to dig herself outta trouble. She's been made to face the consequences of her actions so there is some redemption here; Guest, Eric didn't hire those guys, the new head of the athletic boosters did. Does Shego eat at greasy spoons?
Guest (2), Kimmie is in gaga land with her BF; CajunBear73, things are gonna start getting interesting soon.
Now that we're caught up with Jimmy1201's touch up…..like I said this little ditty has about 48 or 50 chapters left. Oh and before the end we will have a higher body count just so you know.
Okay, let's get this show on the road,

The Hunter: Book Two
Chapter 40
"Go home Ron, we have this," Gunny informed the former running back from Middleton high while they were standing in the kitchen with the blond teen holding his sister.
"I still want to work."
Gunny pointed out, "Tonight's your prom, you should be there with your school mates. This should be a night to remember."
"Mac, I'm not one of them anymore. Anyway, I want to be here."
"Then go home with your sister as a family."
"I don't really have a home," Ron looked down at the floor then asked, "Are you ashamed of me?"
"What? NO, but this is a special night. It's something to remember even when you get as old as me. Something you can tell your kids…"
"Not having any kids."
"Okay Sister then, listen you really need the night off at least to reflect on your friends and family, even the ones you lost one way or another," the former gunnery Sergeant advised his young friend. "Maybe it's more of a night to remember people instead of doing things that you and other people will remember."
"Okay, sure. But do you need me tomorrow?"
"Yeah, breakfast shift, try to be in by 'O' seven hundred."
"Yeah, I'll be here," Ron sighed as he carried Hanna back out to his mom's car. (Ron still couldn't think of it has his car…AN)
Our favorite anti-hero piled his kid sister into the back and fastened her in. "Wanna go for a ride munchkin? I know a place since we're not working today."
They drove back into town. Ron had to get some gas and pulled into one of Tank and Curt's stations. The former fullback was working. As Ron got out of the car, he put the nozzle into the filler receptacle. "Hey Ron, how ya doin?", Curt greeted his friend and former backfield mate.
"I was gonna work tonight, but Mac says he didn't need me, so Sis and I are headin back to the Renton's to chill," Ron forced a grin.
Lonely ain't ya?", the tough and now retired fullback asked.
Our hero asked in return, "Yeah, but I'll live. How's Tank's old lady doin?"
"Getting closer to her due date. And my end, the apartment is gonna be lonely with my kid brother moving back with Mom and Dad. I don't need him around here the way this is panning out with the team and all."
"When's Stan leaving?"
"I think in June. Shit this has been a lousy year. You still moving to Lowerton this summer?"
"Yeah, I'll drop by on Mel for Tank, ya know keep an eye on her."
"Yeah, I will too, but we have one less hand around here who knows the ropes. I'm thinking about bringing Spiker in. I mean we have Mike but he's still learning the business, but we need one more hand if we're gonna grow and I wanna do that. I still need to take care of both families."
"I miss him…," Ron muttered about his friend and mentor.
"Yeah, me too. He was my best friend. If I find the bastard who murdered him, I…."
"You better not do anything. Stay outta this, I'll take care of it….they won't even find the body," Ron promised as the pump shut off.
Curt mused aloud, "Hell of a thing for a hero to say…."
"Nobody ever said I was a hero buddy," Ron countered.
The former running back looked at the pump and pulled out twenty-five dollars from his pants pocket. "Here ya go."
"I'll get your change…"
"I know you have a fund for the baby, put the rest of it in there. It's the least I can do."
"Thanks Ron," Curt then hugged his backfield mate then asked, "We're gonna grow apart ain't we?"
"Yeah….maybe, but I already grew apart from Kim…the pain from that is just sorta dull now."
"That limey bastard."
"Curt don't worry about it man. Hey, I gotta go, the munchkin is in the back seat. You take it easy."
"Thanks, you shoulda went to the prom you know."
"Nah, that's for the upper-class kids. I'm the lowest of the low. Good thing I finally figured it out, it makes life easier for us schmucks in the muck."
"Sucks to be us?", asked Curt.
"Yeah, it does, but my kid…heh heh, sister is gonna have the best that I can give her and I'm gonna make her be friends with Tank's munchkin."
"Melanie is going to have tons of back up now that she's back in Lowerton, she has her own family, and she has Tank's too."
Ron sighed, "I just wish that I could've stayed at the funeral…I owed him…owed him more than I can really put into words."
"Hanna was in the emergency room Ron, you had to be there for her."
"I did, but I wouldn't have had to if Eric hadn't dropped her. I thought Monty Fiske was five hundred miles of bad road…and it turned out I was right, but Eric? He freaks me out. See, I told Kim to keep her new squeeze away from Sis and he fucking dropped her, and he has told Child and Family Services that I'm a crappy person and am not deserving of raising her and he can't even hold her without dropping her….anyway I'm gonna take her over to some playground and let her burn off some energy. Missus Renton will forever be grateful for that one and I can't afford to remodel her house."
(AN…of course, Ron didn't want to mention that ole Monkey Fist seemed to be behind the museum theft in London.)
Ron drove over to the ABC pre-k and pulled into a parking space. "Munchkin, this is where me and Kim met up a long time ago. Wanna play on some of the equipment?", Ron inquired as he shut off the car and got out.
The Asian baby cheered and held her hands out, so the blond teen unfastened her and pulled her out of the seat and carried her over to the grass and let her down.
X
Later, the Renton home after the munchkin wore out some of the equipment on the play ground:
"Hey Wheels, looking good. You and Zita are gonna turn some heads tonight," Ron laughed has he carried his sister in the front door.
"You should be there Ron…."
"Nah, I'm gonna hang with sis tonight. They didn't need me at the café so I'm home for a change," Ron shrugged as he set his Hanna down and removed her jacket.
The Latina young woman stared at the blond teen with her hands on her hips. "You should at least make an appearance…"
"Should? Not me pretty woman. I might listen to some music to relax me and work on those tests coming up."
Zita countered, "You should at least make an appearance at the prom….people expect it…."
"Then people will be disappointed. Thanks for bringing it to my attention, but I am gonna save my money. You guys go make some memories. I really don't wanna have any of tonight. It's no different than any other night in my case. I mean I know a guy who's lonely and he's working tonight mourning for his murdered best friend and I'm lounging around messing with my kid sister. His case is a lot worse than mine."
Felix and Zita looked at each other, then stared at Ron. The former mascot told them, "Curt Whiney is working tonight thinking about his best friend and his best friend's wife."
"Wife? Tank was married?", Zita gasped.
Ron rolled his eyes, "Yeah, but don't tell anybody because most people at school don't know. Most of the guys on the team knew though. Melanie is going to have a baby later this year. She moved to be closer to her family."
"And someone murdered Tank?", Felix asked.
"Yeah, all sorts of people close to me are coming up losers. The robbers shot him in the back. That's another reason you guys need to stay away from me as far as you can. If it wasn't for Sis, I woulda found another place to live so that nothing like this happens to you."
Zita hauled off and punched Ron in the arm although he was holding his sister. "We. Are. Not. Afraid."
"No? You should be," Ron queried then continued as the Latina shook her head, "My advice is to stay away as soon as you can. Since I'm moving to Lowerton in June or July, so you won't have a target on your back after I leave. I'm worried about Sis, but I can protect her."
Zita snorted, "How can you protect her?"
Felix decided that enough was enough, "I can vouch that Ron can take care of himself. He was the one who beat up that gang when they tried to take my chair." "He really went after one guy."
Zita half squinted, "I'm not sure I believe you Wheels."
Felix put his hands up, "Mom saw it. Ron stomped those guys."
Now our hero was getting a little nervous and told them, "They weren't expecting me to be POed and every one of my hits landed right on target for once."
"I knew hanging around Possible would rub off on you…."
"It's not just Kim… Ron called a guy in Japan…."
Ron put his hand in front of him, "I have ta cut you off Wheels, you can't say anymore."
"Ron?", Felix inquired.
"No, everything from Wade is in Rockwell heaven except my poetry. Remember what I said about forgetting everything?", Ron asked.
(AN….Rockwell heaven is an old term for deleting data on computers. Before the internet when something was deleted it was gone.)
"Yeah…"
"I mean it. I don't wanna see you guys get hurt. Right now, I am on the edge, and they might decide that having me out there is not the right thing and might wanna shut me up permanently. There are politics over there and they could affect things here."
Felix asked, "Ron who would take care of your sister then?"
"She is Japanese, they are Japanese; figure it out yourself. They have a plan. If it comes to it, they take her back and end me and anyone else who knows anything about them. YOU have ta forget everything you ever heard," Ron urged, "These guys are real bad asses. Kim wouldn't have a chance against one of them and you've heard how good she is. She takes prisoners they don't."
Zita narrowed her eyes, "You put my boyfriend in danger?"
"No, Wheels can't prove anything, and he doesn't know where they are, Wade would be in more danger than you, but he doesn't know where they operate out of. I had him delete everything on his servers 'cept for the poetry I spoke of," Ron explained, "All I'm asking is you guys forget about me, Hanna, and anything about Japan if I disappear. Kim only has a vague idea of where they are located and they sorta like her so even if she finds the place again, she'll be safe….well about as safe as she is now."
"Ron, I'll never forget you. You were my first friend in Middleton, my best friend. I've made more, but there is no way I'll ever forget my best friend…"
"Not even if they threaten Zita or your Mom?", the former running back asked.
Felix's eyes narrowed as Ron continued, "This shit is real guys and I'm being as serious as Doc Pea's stroke, if something happens let me deal with it and go on with your lives. I don't want anyone to get hurt because of me. When I move out in the summer with Sis just let me fade into the background. You guys will be safe enough. Anyway, shouldn't you be heading into the prom?"
Zita nodded, "We should be going. What do you want us to say if someone asks about you?"
The former mascot shrugged, "Tell them something…"
The Latina pushed, "If Possible asks?"
"Tell her you don't know. I don't want asshole Eric to know anything about where I am or what I'm doing let alone my sister. And I don't trust Kim not to tell him. If she wants to speak with me, she can go through Wade," Ron frowned.
Zita Flores then leaned in and gave the sidekick a kiss on the cheek, "There, you won't have to do without a kiss this prom."
"Uh, thanks, but you're a couple years too late," Ron replied, "Why don't you guys get going and have some fun? But let me get a couple of pics before you head out."
X
Ellen Renton pulled into her driveway.
She got out of her car and walked to the front door which was unlocked. Ron was bouncing Hanna on his leg and the tyke was giggling.
Doctor Renton inquired, "I suppose I missed the kids."
"Yeah, but I got pictures of them with my Kimmunicator, Wade has them stored and I can have them sent to your email," Ron responded.
"Thank you honey…"
Ron smiled, "There is something else."
Ellen sat down in an easy chair across from where Ron and Hanna were."
"Yes?"
"Remember last summer? When you and Wheels were attacked here in the house?"
Ellen frowned for a moment then nodded, "About those bad men?"
"Yeah, and who you guys spoke with?"
She thought for a second, "That Japanese man you had us talk to over your PDA?"
"Yes Ma'am. From now on they don't exist," the former Mad Dog told her.
"Is this some sort of security thing Ronald?"
"Yeah, if I disappear…I never existed either. If people come to ask questions you don't know anything. I had Wade scrub all his servers."
"Ronald, you are my Son's best friend…"
"And I want him to stay alive too. It may not happen, but I might end up disappearing at some point. So, for everyone's safety they need to forget I was ever here," Ron insisted, "That I ever existed if that happened."
"And your Sister?"
"Hanna is safe, I think if something happens to me, she will be more than safe."
"And she will lose her third parent then."
"Her fifth, her birth parents were killed in a car accident in Japan, of course you know about Mom and Dad," Ron informed her, "Eventually, Sis will find a stable home. If you'll excuse me, I'm gonna make her some dinner."
"I am fixing something as well Ronald…."
"How about if I come up with something out of one of my books?", Ron suggested.
"Ronald, I am a married woman! If my husband was in town, he would be highly offended," the older Renton accused comically.
Ron snorted, "Just my luck." Then added, "Come on Sis, it's time to fill your belly and come up with something for Doctor Renton."
As Ron entered the kitchen Ellen Renton called out, "I have a meeting at the library a little later Ronald."
"It won't take long, relax Ma'am. I promise you'll be happy when I set it in front of you," the blond teen promised.
"Then I am going to take a shower Ronald, are you sure that there isn't anything I can do?"
"I am a professional cook ma'am, relax, put your feet up."
Ellen nodded, "Thank you Ronald."
"It's the least I can do Ma'am. You took me and Sis in and let us live under your roof….without even knowing if I would be able to find a decent place to live after we lost our place to that 'A' hole Eric."
"It was the least I could do Ronald; Felix needed a friend when we moved into town, and you were there for him, and you never saw him as being handicapped. Through you he met Zita and at the moment he is as happy has I have ever seen him with a wonderful future in front of him," she responded.
"Wheels isn't handicapped, and he would have made friends here if it hadn't been for me Ma'am. It just would have taken him about five minutes longer. I'm going to get some chow into the intruder and make us something really coolio to eat."
The blond teen carried his sister into the kitchen and quickly pulled a plastic bowl out of the refrigerator before setting her in the chair. The tyke grabbled the bowl while Ron set her in the highchair and then he turned back to the fridge and got out some jars of food while the munchkin got the lid off the bowl.
Ron had given the bowl to the tyke and was wide eyed when he saw her open the container with relative ease.
He began to heat up her meal and then pulled an already made-up bottle of milk out of the fridge. He also turned on the oven and pulled out some veal patties and pulled a pot out of the dishwasher and filled it with water and set it to boil. He also added some salt, pepper, and some olive oil.
Ron then got out some pasta and set the box on the counter.

Middleton High, the stinky old gym:
Justine and Mike greeted Felix and Zita, "Well is Stoppable coming or not?", the blonde had her hands on her hips.
The Latina narrowed her eyes, "Not."
Mike Little thought out loud, his deep voice rumbling, "I sure hope we don't have any giant robots like last year. It was scary."
Wheels Renton snorted, "Well if it happens again, we can either hope that Kim's boyfriend steps up or Hanna becomes a decent sidekick to Ron, `cause I don't think Possible will be up to the task this time." Felix used his thumb to motion to where the teen heroine was seated across from Monique while Eric hovered over her.
Tara and Josh walked by. The bubbly blonde stopped, "Is Ron coming?"
Felix shook his head, "I think he wants some alone time with his sister."
Josh countered as he grasped Tara's hand, "Ron should be here, it might be about the last time he gets to see all his classmates."
"Well, this summer he and his sister are moving to Lowerton," Zita informed the other teens.
Josh muttered, "That's not right, Ron Stoppable is a hero here."
Big Mike Little explained, he didn't talk a lot, but when he did people tended to listen, "Ron doesn't look at himself as a hero. On the football team he gave all the credit to the other players. I know that he said that to those radio guys, but that's how he always talked. The guys on the team like him because he wasn't a prima donna like Possible's new boyfriend."
Bonnie Rockwaller sauntered up to Kim's group with Junior on her arm. The red head narrowed her eyes, "Nice boyfriend 'B', you're dating a criminal…"
"Not in this country 'K' he isn't, anyway, their lawyers are in discussions with law enforcement to drop all charges against them if they pay restitution for the mayhem they have caused, send any data to those law agencies and stay out of trouble for five years," Bonnie informed Kim then added, "There are other villains who are ready to sign onto this this according to Senior."
(AN….this was the first that Kim or anyone else had heard of this.)
Eric's eyes narrowed for a moment then inquired, "Who would trust the word of a criminal…I assume the young man who I have not been introduced to is in fact a criminal."
Senor Senior Junior smiled tightly, "My Father wanted a hobby, I thought him being my manager as a pop singer would be enough, but no. Not him, Papi always wanted to do things way overboard. All I wanted was for girls to swoon over me."
Bonnie grabbed Junior's arm, "I do swoon all over you Junior. Do you need more women than me?"
"At one time I thought that I needed my 'blue fox', but no more," the muscular teen glanced at the red head briefly, then locked his eyes onto his date.
"Good,", the brunette smirked then asked, "is Stoppable here?"
Kim responded, "I haven't seen Ron, I wanted to speak with him for a few minutes."
Monique piped in, "Ask Renton, Stoppable lives at his house right now."
Kim smiled, "Good idea, excuse me guys, I'll be back in a few minutes."
Eric touched the heroine's shoulder and asked, "Are you sure you want to do this? He is quite annoyed with me at the moment and has made his displeasure known to various people….I do not want to incur his wrath."
Monique frowned as she pointed out, "If you hadn't taken his house as well as his friend, he might be a little nicer to you Eric."
Kim smiled, "You stay here and guard my seat boyfriend. I just want to know what my partner in crime fighting is up to. The music is going to startup in a few minutes, and I want to spend the night dancing with you not worrying about my child hood friend. The only time I get any information about Ron is from Wade or when Ron and I go on a mission and it's frustrating. It's like he locked me out of his life. We always said that we'd best friends forever and I'd hate to lose my best friend."
Bonnie smirked, "And you are having a hard time with this just because you are allergic to Stoppable?" Junior's eyes opened up at this not having heard it before.
Seeing her date's surprise, she explained, "For K to be around Ronnie, he has to wear this hot assed suit bio-suit thing."
Monique had been stoking the red-head's curiosity about talking with her childhood for the last couple of weeks, ever since she returned from Colorado State and the African American teen wasn't able to speak with Ron Stoppable very much herself. He seemed to just disappear immediately after school let out usually leaving via side door to the parking lot well away from where her and Kim's locker were located. She was just as frustrated as Kim was and she knew that she needed to make up for the way she acted earlier since the running backs' coach from CSU told her how much they wanted the skinny blond teen. In short, the skinny blond longtime friend of Kim Possible was avoiding her. Monique didn't like people staying away from her instead of speaking with her.
"Hey, good to see you guys made it. How do you like the prom so far?", Kim asked as she arrived at the group who were standing around another table.
Josh grinned, "This time next year we'll be about finished with our first year of college. Time moves fast."
Mike picked up an appetizer, "I …. that is, Justine and me, should be full partners with Curt and the two Mels by then. Spiker is going to be offered the same deal I got."
"Partners?", Kim inquired.
"Yeah,", Justine took over as her BF selected another snack, "Tank and Curt offered Mike a partnership in their business, I came along as part of the deal and because I'm a genius, so I get to look over their books. I studied the tax laws over a couple weekends. While I go to college, I'll make sure they are completely legal. I am going to MIST like your Dad, Kim, for the first six years and then I might go to MIT for the last two. Mom and Dad got their PhDs there."
"So Big Mike is going to work, and you are going to balance work with school?", Kim asked.
Justine now smiled, "Yes and Mom and Dad are for it. They've known Mike's parents for most of their lives and they approve of what we have."
Kim turned to Josh, "How is your knee?"
"It's stronger than ever, I am a blue first belt now. There is a karate school at our college and Tara is going to drop out of cheerleading and concentrate on her studies and I've convinced her to take up the martial art. Anyone mugging us again will be in for a surprise," Josh chuckled as Tara smiled.
"Learning a martial art is a good thing, I just wish that Ron had learned one," Kim mused out loud to gauge the reaction from the others.
Felix pointed out, "If Ron is as good as he was during that robbery, I would say that's all he needs to learn Kim."
"Ron knows how I feel about taking lives," the heroine countered.
"One of them made a mistake and pointed a gun at his sister. I would say Ron was in the right when that happened."
Kim narrowed her eyes then relaxed, "I can see your point, there were a lot of people in that restaurant and Ron's actions kept them safe. Now, I would like to know if Ron's coming to the Prom. Since he lives with you, I thought you might know."
Zita shook her head, "Nope, Ron is spending the night with his sister, they didn't need him to work, but he says he has to work in the morning."
Felix nodded, "Mom had offered to watch her tonight, but Ron was pretty adamant about not coming…you'd think that the guy who should be crowing the most since he is an all-state running back, would want to show off a little."
Kim narrowed her eyes as the music started, "Ron never felt comfortable in the spotlight. He really was out of his comfort zone. Hey thanks for telling me about Ron, but I have to get back to my BF. I have a whole night of dancing planned. I'll talk to you later."
Josh offered his hand to Tara, "My lady, would you care to dance with this humble and unworthy man?"
The platinum blonde responded, "Josh, you goof. Let's go."
Justine latched onto Mike Little's arm, "Leave the grub for later BF."
The red head hurried back to her table and offered her hand to Eric, "Let's cut a rug, we're burning moon light."
Eric had already risen like the gentleman he was. and he let the red-haired teen lead him out on the floor.

The Possible home:
"Annie?", James asked his wife who was home until Sunday night.
"Yes Jimmy," Anne looked over at her husband after she set her periodical down.
"We screwed up."
Sigh, "In what way?"
James Possible took a breath, "We should have told Kimmie about her and Ronald before this got out of hand. Now the boy doesn't want anything about their past romance even hinted at."
"When he mentioned that at the hospital, I thought that it might just be a passing thing, Jimmy."
She sighed, "I suggest we follow Ronald's wishes. Barb and Dean would've agreed with us letting the two of them work it out," Anne wished she had a glass with some aged Scotch in it.
"Annie there is no 'working' this little angst fest out. I stopped by that place that one of Ronald's teammates owns…he says Ronald and Hanna are moving out of town during the summer and are going to live in Lowerton because of costs."
"I know…."
"And you know the major reason?"
"Yes, we discussed Ronald losing his job at Smarty Mart and then they had the balls to tell him that he couldn't work in Middleton anymore, because of the contract the boy signed. Of course, Kimmie's boyfriend suing Ronald's family for the house didn't help at all….I am starting to dislike that boy,"
Anne grumbled for a moment, "Should we tell Kimmie that it might not be a good idea to room with him over there?"
James Possible had made an amazing recovery since he was found on the side of the road. Recovered enough, in fact, that his doctors considered him 'normal'. That is if one considers a forty-something genius who still likes classic science fiction television shows and writes fan fiction, normal.
The rocket scientist answered, "Kimmie will be eighteen in three weeks, there is nothing we can do since she has her full mental capacities honey. I think that Eric is just going to throw her away when he gets what he wants out of their relationship. We'll just have to be there to catch her if that happens."
Anne nodded as she sipped her decaffeinated coffee, "At least Ronald will be there, and they can be together at last."
James shook his head, "It would take a lot of self-discovery to accept her back into a relationship after all that has happened. We would have to drive to Lowerton to see any grandkids."
"We need to speak with Ronald before I return to Denver James."
"I agree, I'll call him on his cell and set something up," James offered, "He's probably working or at the prom."
"Honey, Ronald's not at the prom…."
"Then it will only be a minute," James grinned hoping he was interrupting the blond teen in the middle of a date.
X
"Hey, Doctor Possible, what can I do for you?", Ron Stoppable's voice came through the speaker phone.
"Nothing much Ronald."
"Good, nice quiet evenings. Reminds me of Rufus and myself in the treehouse once upon a time."
"Is that a television in the background Ronald?", James inquired.
"Yeah, I thought I'd play some munchkin stuff for Sis. Why?"
"So, you are not working nor at the prom?"
"Yeah, Mac gave me the night off and I didn't have a date and I couldn't let Hanna watch herself. Who knows if Middleton would even be standing if I did that? Now what did you need Doctor Possible? I know the Wadester doesn't go through you guys if something came up."
"Heh, heh. No, nothing like that, is there any way that you can come over to the house. Anne and I would like to speak with you for a few minutes."
"I just got sis in her in her PJs, and she is due to be in bed in less than an hour. I guess I could drop by for a few minutes as long as Kim isn't there. I don't have that fancy inner suit on right now."
"No, she is at the prom with Eric…."
"Good, I don't want to see that asswipe ever again. We'll be over in a little while."
X
Ding Dong
Wearing a smile, Anne opened the front door. Ron was standing there holding the raven-haired tyke. She swiped the young'un and took Hanna into the house.
With a shrug, Ron followed the retreating surgeon and child.
James greeted Ron with a smile and suggested, "Why don't we go into the family room? Would you care for something to drink Ronald?"
"Uh, no thanks, just sorta wondering why you wanted me to come over."
James sat down in his easy chair as Anne took her place in hers.
Ron sat on the sofa as James asked, "How have you been doing Ronald?"
"Oh fine, the place in Lowerton is on schedule and it looks like I…we can move in sometime in July."
Anne was checking over the Asian baby and announced, "Hanna seems to be fine Ronald, you are turning into a good Father…."
"Not Father; big brother," Ron corrected the surgeon as he kept his smile plastered on his face.
"Again, I ask, why did you guys call me over? Eric can't stand my guts; he wants to have Hanna taken away from me…he wanted his family to forcibly adopt her away from me."
Anne corrected, "I think we have convinced Kimmie's boyfriend to not try and do that. The baby was granted American citizenship according to Barb and I do not think that the United States will allow her to be adopted over international borders unless her closest living relative agrees in writing, and you are this baby's closest relative, and you have made it clear that you want Eric Thornbottom to stay away from her."
Ron half smiled as he visibly relaxed, "Well that is something."
"So,", James inquired, "why didn't you go to the prom?"
"I had planned on working, but Gunny tried to force me to go and since there is no world takeover attempt as far as I know I didn't need to show up."
Anne frowned, "Ronald, you know Kimmie better than she does herself at times and I think that eventually she and Eric will break up. She will return to her rock…you. What are you going to do then?"
Ron gave a resigned sigh, "Not much, I assume she will still have an allergic reaction to me so unless that is taken care of, we really can't be within so many feet of each other for health reasons. Although it doesn't look like it, I am still Kim's friend. Am I her best friend? That decision is up to her, but I am moving to Lowerton in a few months, and she is going to college. I still expect her to room with Eric over in England no matter what else happens. So, from my end nothing changes. I don't like Eric Thornbottom and I don't make any secret about that. He can go piss up a rope for all I care."
Anne inquired, "And you do not plan to be in a romantic relationship with our daughter Ronald?"
"No, I don't wanna be forgotten again…or pushed aside either. Last spring, Kim told me that we had to grow up when she was drooling over Eric one point oh; I am trying to do that. Listen it's Hanna's bedtime and she's gonna be cranky."
James nodded, "Thank you for coming over, Ronald; oh, before you leave; how are your classes going?"
"Averaging an 'A' minus and I'm ahead in my studies. I might even pass my senior year, but Barkin is still threatening me. Of course, he really can't do anything. I don't have ta answer to my 'rents and he can give himself an ulcer."
"Ronald, I heard from Monique that Colorado State is going to offer you're a scholarship in football. Would you take it if they did?"
