November 2039

Mamma
You gave life to me
Turned a baby into a lady

Mamma
All you had to offer
Was the promise of a lifetime of love

Now I know
There is no other
Love like a mother's love for her child

And I know
A love so complete
Someday must leave
Must say goodbye

Ivy felt like the world was crashing in around her. At just seventeen she had lost her grandparents, her father now her mum was dying of cancer. She spat and cursed at God for taking the one person she had left beside her brothers from her.

Life wasn't fucking fair. God had taken her father from her and brothers when she and Kai was only five months old. Ivy remembered the sound of his deep voice. Other then that she had no memories of him expect what they had been told.

"Don't you cry now Ivy. Or you'll get me started" Her mum weakly cried as Ivy hugged her mum tight to her.

"I can't help it mum. It's not fucking fair. Why do you have to go"

"Life isn't fair darling. It's just my time. Your dad's waiting for me there. I will always be with you all" Josh her boyfriend pulled her into his arms as she sobbed into his chest.

Goodbye's the saddest word I'll ever hear
Goodbye's the last time I will hold you near
Someday you'll say that word and I will cry
It'll break my heart to hear you say goodbye

Mamma
You gave love to me
Turned a young one into a woman

Mamma
All I ever needed
Was a guarantee of you loving me

Kai wasn't much better then Ivy. He was still keeping a brave face. Kai hated to say goodbye. But he knew no matter how much he didn't want to say goodbye. He had little say in the matter. Kai was not one for many words.

He hugged his mum closed to me. Whispering that he loved her. The tears stared to fall not long after. Maddie his long time girlfriend just held him as he let it all come out.

'Cause I know
There is no other
Love like a mother's love for her child

And it hurts so
That something so strong
Someday will be gone, must say goodbye

Goodbye's the saddest word I'll ever hear
Goodbye's the last time I will hold you near
Someday you'll say that word and I will cry
It'll break my heart to hear you say goodbye

Silas Turner-Peterson went next to say goodbye his aunt. And the woman who had been like a mother to him after his own mum had turned to drugs and alcohol. Who had taken him in after his mum had OD. When he was eight. Who had made him the man he was today.

"You can rest now. I'll take good care of Ivy and Kai. I love you" Silas said as he hugged his aunt one last time.

Henry with a heavy heart went next. He was crying as he sad his final goodbyes hugging and kissing her. He told her that he loved her.

"Nan. Are you going up to heaven to be with angels and to where poppy is" Abigail asked.

"I am. But don't think I won't miss you, Bella or Morgan."Elizabeth hugged her eldest granddaughter tightly to her.

But the love you gave me will always live
You'll always be there every time I fall
You are to me the greatest love of all
You take my weakness and you make me strong
And I will always love you 'til forever comes

And when you need me
I'll be there for you always
I'll be there your whole life through
I'll be there this I promise you, Mamma

Liam was the last one of the Turner children to come forward to say his final goodbyes. Liam never imagined he would lose both of his parents by the time he was twenty four. But that was the way the cards had fallen.

"I love you Mum"

"I love you too Liam. I'm proud of the man you've become. I know you'll look after your brothers, sister and Silas."Elizabeth hugged her and Will's eldest son.

Billy clung tightly to her. Not wanting to say goodbye. Liam took his eldest son to the side and tried to explain. That it was just God's will that his grandmother was dying and was going to heaven to be his grandfather that he was named for.

God was a funny thing. Just as his mother was dying of cancer his wife had been giving birth to their second child. He had left shortly after his son had been born to come up here to say his final goodbyes.

Liam was brought out his mussing when the door opened his wife Lila was wheeled in a wheelchair with their newborn son in her arm. He was yet to be named.

"Lila should you be out of bed. So soon after giving birth" Henry asked concerned before Liam could say anything.

"This little one deserved to meet his grandmother and before she passes on. And he needs a name."Liam took his new born son from Lila's arms before placing him in his mum's arms.

"Hello little one" The newest addition to the Turner family. Looked up at her with Will's eyes.

"So any ideas on the name" Liam gently asked.

"Oliver after your uncle."

"How about Oliver Elijah. Ollie for short" Henry put in.

"Ollie Elijah Turner it is then" Liam agreed.

I'll be your beacon through the darkest nights
I'll be the wings that guide your broken flight
I'll be your shelter through the raging storm
And I will love you 'till forever comes

Goodbye's the saddest word I'll ever hear
Goodbye's the last time I will hold you near
Someday you'll say that word and I will cry
It'll break my heart to hear you say goodbye

'Till we meet again...
Until then...
Goodbye

Liam took baby Ollie back into his arms. James moved over last to say goodbye. He took Elizabeth hand in his.

"James" Elizabeth began

"I know. You can go. There's no need to hang on any longer. Go find peace. Will's waiting for you" James's voice cracked as he kissed the top her head and held her hand.

Elizabeth smiled as she closed her eyes for the last time. There was no dry eyes as they watched Elizabeth pass. Now she was at peace and no longer in pain. She was now with the man she loved.

Doctors and Nurses came rushing in. But there was little they could done. She was gone and now at peace.

In Heaven.

I felt a jolt in my heart when the other half of my heart and soul had passed onto the other side. It had been seventeen years of waiting. I though we would have to wait long to be reunited. But God it seemed had other plans.

She was still breath taking beautiful and knew how to take my breath away. Elizabeth didn't me at first as I approached.

"Hello Sasannach" I say from behind her.

Elizabeth's eyes widened as she heard my voice for the first time in seventeen years.

"Will" She threw her self into my arms,

"I love you" I say as our lips touched. I heard her say she loved me to.

I took her hand in mine and we walked through the gates together.
