Unmei Force Shattered Heroes: Creative Power

Chapter 5: Escape from the Prison!

"KEEP THE ENTANMAS CONTAINED UNTIL THE CYBERS ARRIVE. BUT IF EITHER OF THEM MOVE EVEN ONE INCH, ANNIHILATE THEM ON SIGHT!"

Slowly, Boki began to stir awake, as the shouting managed to wake her up, as she blinked her eyes several times to clear her vision, as she found herself in a dark facility, as she was being imprisoned by cages made from the cube drones that made the barriers to entrap her.

"Ugh… what happened?" She asked herself, before she then looked around. "Where the heck am I, meow?"

"Over here, Boki!" Heiwa exclaimed, as the Kitera turned towards her, as she was stuck as well behind more drones, with Popol beside her.

"Heiwa? Popol?" Boki asked back.

"Yeah, don't worry." Popol nodded back, before he then looked around. "I think this place is where they're keeping us… And I did manage to hear that they want us for some reason… I'm worried thinking about it."

"Then we better get out of there!" Boki exclaimed, as she began to break through the drones trapping her inside using her basic shot, a stream of crystal projectiles, while Heiwa did the same using her fire-balls, as the trio freed themselves easily.

They then looked down, as it was the only way that they could go right now, as they dropped down, before they fell right into a red laser, tripping it, and causing a loud alarm to sound, as multiple enemies appeared in the room around them, as one of them was a skeletal head which floated about.

As the group began to fight the enemies around them, the skeletal creature began to absorb something from the group, although it didn't seem to affect them, before it then transformed into a more demonic version of itself, wielding a sharp scythe on one of its arms. It then honed towards Popol, as the scythe began to tremble while charging its attack.

However, Popol anticipated the attack, as he raised his spear to block the incoming scythe swing, before he then struck at the robot several times over, destroying it, as it dropped a large power-up with a skull icon and a trembling demonic purple aura. When Popol collected it, the tip of his spear turned entirely purple, as a dark aura emanated from it.

When he directed his power towards the enemies ahead, he launched a powerful thrust that looked like a demon's head, as it bit down on the enemies in the attack's path, destroying them, as white sparks of energy flew into Popol, rejuvenating him.

Suddenly, they were transferred to the next area, as they could hear garbled speech from Savant, which they can't make out at all.

"Uhh… what was that?" Boki asked, before more garbled speech from Savant followed. "There's too much static, meow!"

"T..e p…guins..! F… he… pen…ins!" Savant shouted back.

"...I might have a clue about what he's saying." Popol stated with a hand under his chin. "But we should just focus on finding our way through this dreary place as quickly as possible. Who knows how long it was take for whoever threw us in here to come back and repeat the same feat…?"

As they continued down the area, they hit another laser tripwire, as enemies spawned into the area to attack the group, as well as blocking the path ahead. They destroyed the enemies easily, although the path ahead was still blocked for them.

"Now what? How are we going to get through now?" Heiwa asked with concern in her voice.

"Hm, I wonder if I could copy the security codes from the Constructs I just defeated…" Boki remarked, before she then absorbed some data fragments from the destroyed robots, as she then opened the gate with a snap of her fingers. "It worked, meow!"

"Nice work, Boki!" Popol praised Boki, as the group continued down, as they found that the laser tripwires were being created by a different form of the cube-shaped drones, and destroying them would also trigger the alarm, much to Popol's disbelief when he tried to destroy them like their regular kin.

They were forced to navigate through a maze made from moving alarm drones, carefully dodging the laser trip-wires they have created, as they destroyed the enemies at the end of the passage.

The next area introduced a new form of enemies for them, a kind of aerial drones that looked like a robot with angelic wings, as it created a large shield that seemed to block most of the group's projectiles. However, they were not resistant against Popol's melee approach, and their barriers could only sustain so much damage before they broke, leaving the barrier drone unprotected.

As they fought more of the same kind of robot, they found that some of them dropped a power-up of their own, a green diamond-like symbol, which gave the group a shield of their own, which proved useful in defending against the various projectiles that the other enemies were throwing at them, allowing them to attack aggressively against the remaining enemies.

The next area took them to a watery area, as the group were fairly unnerved at what the water could be.

"Say, do Constructs actually have any need for a sewage system?" Heiwa asked.

"Well, Uncle did tell me that some of them tend to use the water to cleanse themselves…" Boki remarked with a awkward tone.

"Urgh… Not like we have a choice here." Popol groaned, before the group jumped into the sewer waters.

They navigated through the sewers quite quickly, as Popol managed to find another one of the skeletal reapers, as he collected their power-up by destroying them, as he used it to clear through the hordes of enemies ahead.

As they moved onto the next area, they heard Savant's words again, which were less garbled by static, but still not intelligible enough to understand completely.

"B…ki, t… C…stru…s …low t…s … j…ming… H…ever… … ca… c…ear … th… s…ld g…t …id of t… i…ter…ence." Savant tried to tell the group. "... h…r me r…t n…w any…s…"

"You're still not coming through, uncle, but I'm going to assume it has something to do with blasting more robots!" Boki answered back.

They soon found themselves in a maze of passages, as they were being attacked by robots with piercing shots behind walls they couldn't shoot through, as they were forced to fight their way through the passage, weaving through the many laser tripwires set within the passage, until they managed to find an enemy with the Wave Power-up, allowing them to return the favour, destroying the enemies, and allowing them to hit a target that dropped them into the next area below.

The next area was also a maze, filled with even more enemies, as they slowly fought their way through it. Heiwa managed to pick up a combination of Plasma, Force and Explode to allow her to throw large fire-balls that exploded like miniature nukes whenever they collided with anything, clearing the enemies out of the maze quite quickly, and hit the final target that allowed them to move onto the next area.

The next area was another square arena, as the group prepped up for an encounter against another Yoggval, as it appeared before them, already transformed, with a dark-grey hue to its body, red-pink trails with green rings, with its eyes flashing between green and red, as it roared and created static clones beside it, before they faded.

Polymorphic Invader

Yoggval (Jammer Mode)

The group noticed that the Yoggval was creating static clones whenever it tried to ram them, and also fired off circular radio blasts that grew in size as they travelled along the area, as the group tried to evade the robot, as well as its clone, since the clones are solid, as Popol would realise when one slammed him into the wall. \

However, each time it unleashed radio pulses towards the group, is also dropped power-ups that allowed the group to do the same, as it gave a purple hue to their weapons, and herself in Boki's case. They began to fire off radio pulses back at the Yoggval, as Heiwa's and Boki's were like a growing circle, while Popol was like a laser blast that dealt multiple hits to the Yoggval.

Eventually, the group were able to defeat it, as it exploded, and Savant contacted them, also the jamming static was still there.

"Th…e's s…ll i…ter…ce, y… t…ee. Y…re …ll c…ing …e sou…e…" Savant told them.

"Beating up the boss doesn't clear up the interference!?" Boki exclaimed.

"Wait, I think that radio pulse power is exactly what's jamming the signal!" Heiwa realised.

"Oh, right, forgot about that, meow…" Boki sheepishly said, as she dispeled her power-up, as Heiwa and Popol did the same with a ejecting burst of energy.

"Boki, Heiwa and Popol? Can you all hear me now?" Savant asked the group, as the signal was clear.

"Loud and clear!" Popol grinned. "Good thing we managed to get back in contact with you, Savant!"

"Good. Now that communications are working again, we can start planning your escape." Savant responded back. "If we're going to get you out of there, you'll need to locate the schematics of the prison. The Cybers have hidden them inside of spherical penguin-robots for safekeeping, you see."

"Oh, so that's what you meant!" Popol exclaimed. "I did hear the word 'penguin' well enough."

"So we have to break those adorable things…?" Heiwa asked with sadness, as her ears drooped slightly. "But it can't be helped… Still, that's just cruel for those Cybers to do that."

"It's not the first time, young lady." Savant responded back, as they were transferred to the next area.

The next area was a drop down, as they utilised the power-kick power-up in order to carve their way through the destructible walls on the side of the shaft, in order to avoid hitting any of the alarm tripwires, as they managed to find the penguin-balls on the bottom, as they destroyed them, with reluctance on Heiwa's side of things, causing her to sigh.

"Excellent work, you all. They don't even realise that their penguins have been accessed!" Savant praised the group. "I've analysed the data and located a possible escape route. Just follow my directions, and you will be able to sneak out."

"Awesome! It's like a secret agent movie!" Boki exclaimed.

The next area seemed to a large snaking passage ahead, as they noticed that there were a lot of invincible enemies ahead of them, just as the same voice that came from the one who imprisoned them in the facility, was heard across the area.

"DEFECTIVE MACHINES! THE ENTANMAS ARE ESCAPING AND YOU DIDN'T NOTICE!?" The voice boomed with anger. "BLOCK ALL EXITS! PREPARE THE EXPERIMENT FOR HYPERSYNTHESIS IMMEDIATELY!"

"So much for being sneaky… I guess I have to be-" Boki was about to say, before Heiwa pressed a finger to her mouth, quieting her.

"Don't… I think I know a way to get through this without causing us a lot of trouble." Heiwa stated, as her eyes were focused on the path ahead.

"I would suggest listening to little Heiwa, Boki. She has a good idea." Savant advised Boki. "Your only goal is to get to the end now. Be cautious, and see if you can find ways to bypass the enemies instead of fighting them directly."

Heiwa looked at the situation ahead, as there was a bipedal robot being entrapped within a box created by several barrier drones. Hewia then hopped on top of the barrier box, as she carefully destroyed the drone that was blocking the way ahead, before she led the group under the box to destroy the enemy that had the key to the passage ahead, all without letting the drone leave the box.

They soon jumped into the next room, as the group destroyed them quickly, allowing them to move on. Ahead of them was a pen of invincible bunny-bots, that were being held inside by barrier drones, as Heiwa used her fireballs to destroyed the enemies above the pinned robots, and then break her way through the enemies, as they reached a vertical passage with invincible enemies, which they just ignored, before dropping down before a trip-wire they couldn't avoid.

Heiwa gestured for the group to stop, as they did so, before they collected themselves, and then began to run through the trip-wire, not stopping at all, as the alarm dropped an invincible tank that pursued after them, as they managed to get some distance, before they reached the end, as Boki broke the target that was locking the path ahead, as she then kicked her way through the destructible wall in front of her, as the group escaped the area.

"USELESS GUARDS! I DON'T HAVE TIME TO CLEAN UP YOUR MESS!" The voice boomed with anger. "COMBINE ALL REMAINING UNITS IMMEDIATELY!"

As the group managed to reach the next area, it was shown to be an arena, as the group noticed that the combination robot was surrounded by many robots, as some of them were formidable enemies that they have fought before, as the combination of the robot yielded a fleshy abomination that had a demonic head, metallic weapons for hands, and a tail for legs.

Abominable Experiment

Zerynex

The abomination then threw a large dark orb at the group, as the group shot at it, causing it to explode and drop a force power-up, before it continued by firing a set of missiles at the group, which they dodged swiftly. It then swept its tail in the air, firing seed robots like the Vaerzet did, although the seed robots had the same demonic expression that the monster had.

It then teleported away from the group with a collapsing void, before then firing more missiles and another dark orb at the group. The trio then assaulted the flesh abomination with their weapons, as it was dealt enough damage to drop some sort of large power-up, as it was a large orb of fire, as Heiwa picked it up, as the entire head of the brush turned orange.

Heiwa then began to utilise her new power, as she raised her brush, which began to create a rapidly expanding orb of fire, growing to the same size as the one that her enemy threw, as the two attacks clashed, before creating a massive explosion that hit the robot and severely damaged it.

Heiwa then charged the power again, as she hit it directly on with the attack, causing it to explode, and leave behind dark energy orbs of varying sizes, which refused to fizzle away, before they merged together in the centre of the arena, creating a dark worm-hole with a burst of energy.

"The plan worked! That wormhole is the only remaining way out of the prison!" Savant exclaimed with glee.

"WHAT!? You want me to go in there!?" Boki exclaimed with horror.

"I'm not sure about this…" Popol remarked. "That wormhole looks fairly unstable, coming from a abomination like that…!"

"Exactly! It won't last long. Just go! I'm sure that you won't suffer anything during the trip through it!" Savant argued back.

Heiwa looked at the worm-hole, before she steeled herself and jumped into it. Horrified that his close friend went in before him, Popol followed soon after, as well as Boki, who refused to be left behind.

The group were tossed through the wormhole at hurtling speeds, as there was a bright flash of light that blinded them.
