Unmei Force Shattered Heroes: Creative Power

Chapter 6: Adventure through Dimensions!

The red wormhole ejected the group against the back of the wall, causing them to land against it, as they slid down it. When they recovered from the impact, they found themselves inside a small room, with a blue worm-hole ahead of them, just as an invincible Exchikke appeared before them.

With no other way to proceed, the group hopped through the worm-hole, as it teleported them out of the room into a larger one, where they found that they were inside a chaotic realm, where the walls were fizzled with static in blue and yellow colours, and there was a lake of lava below them.

Not wanting to ponder about where the worm-hole threw them, the group fought their way through the area, as Popol picked up Quick, Split and Electric to allow him the ability to summon ice clones of himself, that attacked in conjunction with him, allowing him to spread out and destroy multiple enemies with each attack he did.

Eventually, they moved onto the next area, which took a rainbow hue instead, as the group looked around.

"So tell me, WHY was it such a good idea for us to jump into the crazy black hole of doom?" Boki asked Heiwa with a dead-pan expression.

"Well… it was fairly scary… but I was sure that it was like how my brother teleported place to place… and I was right." Heiwa admitted, rubbing the back of her head sheepishly.

"Come again?" Savant exclaimed with surprise. "So you're saying a sibling of yours has the same powers to commit interdimensional navigation, like the Cybers do by using gaps in reality like the wormhole you three went through?"

"Yeah, exactly like that!" Heiwa beamed with excitement. "Although… brother doesn't use wormholes, he literally uses gaps in reality. They're pretty fancy with ribbons and… actually, I shouldn't tell you more about it. Brother wouldn't be too happy about it."

"Anyways, pondering on that tidbit… I've traced a signal from the leader of this army. Keep going through these rifts and it might lead you to the base of their operations." Savant continued.

"So it's that one that threw us in the prison? Good, because I have a real grudge to settle!" Popol exclaimed with fiery determination in his eyes.

"Yeah! We'd want a rematch with them!" Boki agreed strongly.

The group continued on, before they found that there was a sheep robot before them, except it was glitching with a black hue. When Popol tried to attack it, it buffered towards another area, surprising Popol, as it let a glitched string of bleats. This ensued several times, before Boki managed to destroy with a Plasma shot, which opened the way to a worm-hole, which the group jumped into, as it led them into the rest of the area.

As they fought more enemies, with some new variants of past enemies, they managed to find more Mirror power-ups, which allowed them to reflect any incoming projectiles back to their senders, as it helped them clear out the rest of the enemies in the area.

The next area they headed into had a dark shadowy hue, as they met with the darker variants of the Exchikkes, which were more formidable than their lighter brethren, although they were still easy to defeat with proper strategy. Heiwa managed to pick up a mix of Wave, Force and Split, which allowed her to create dark fire-balls that honed towards any enemies that she laid eyes upon, as the shots scorched the robots to ashes upon impact.

The following area seemed to have a white hue, as well as showing some signs of nature, with flowers and grass in most places, as Popol managed to pick up a super-speed powerup from one of the Exchikkes, represented by blue squares with speed lines, as he used the speed to quickly thrust through any enemies in his path like a hurtling rocket, finishing off by literally driving his spear right through a Virs robot, destroying it.

As the group moved onto the next area, they noticed that it was another arena, except there were wormholes on either side of the stage, and the area was once again rainbow.

"Okay, what the heck is going on with all the weird glitchy Constructs in this place?" Boki asked Savant.

"Constructs are complex artifacts, powered by a series of meticulously written magic spells." Savant answered back. "If one remains in the dimensional nexus for an exceedingly long time, the strange energies of the void can corrupt the magic inside it, causing it to malfunction."

"I just hope nothing like that happens to me, meow…" Boki responded with a concerned tone.

"Wait, Constructs can be made with magic too?" Heiwa exclaimed. "Then that means Miss Patchy could make lots and lots of these kinds of Constructs?"

"And who is this 'Miss Patchy' you speak of, little Heiwa?" Savant asked back with curiosity.

"She's a really good magician, even better than brother! I heard she's especially good with controlling magic, so I think she would be happy to learn how to make such things!" Heiwa explained with excitement.

"Hm… Well, there were cases where Constructs were created from non-Cyber origins… But they are rare and few." Savant hummed in consideration. "Still, the possibility cannot be discounted."

Another Yoggval appeared before them, as it began to scan the area, before encountering an error, as a result of the chaotic energies of the realm, as it then transformed into a glitched version of itself, completely black with erratic pixels of colour all over it.

Polymorphic Invader

Yoggval (Glitched)

The glitched Yoggval began to attack the group, as its ramming attacks changed as a result of its glitched nature, as instead of a downwards ram, it instead flew through the ceiling and reappeared from the ground, before then reversing course to hit the ground and create some shockwaves. It also unleashed pulses of energy that forced the group to teleport through using the wormholes. Its wall ramming move also became changed with having a delay before clipping right into the wall in a flash.

The group slowly dodged the erratic attacks, as the robot dropped glitched Quick power-ups, that caused their shots to move in staggered motion, as if they were being moved slowly frame by frame. However, the attacks remained still as potent as their normal variant, which allowed them to defeat the robot easily still.

The next area was a maze of rooms, as each room seemed to have a theme related to the other zones that the group travelled through, with its enemies adhering to the themes, as the group fought their way through the room, and destroying the glitched sheep robots that were the key to moving to the next area.

Inside the next area, the group found a vacant Virs for Boki to pilot, which the Kitera did so gladly, before Popol popped the penguin robot that was bouncing along. As a result, they dropped down into a zone filled with a swarm of penguin-balls, as Boki used the Virs's weapons to make short work of them.

The next area they reached, seemed to be more archaic than what they had seen before, as there were stone walls in the background before them, and the area walls were made of stone as well. The group navigated through the area, hopping through a platforming section made from barrier drones, and a pit of wormholes below them, as they reached the last room in the area, destroying the robots.

"Um… If I'm literally in the middle of nowhere… then why is there a castle back there?" Boki asked Savant, looking at the stone walls in the distance, which formed a structure ahead. "I haven't seen anything else out here that looks like an actual building… so who built it, meow?"

"Hmm… There's certainly a lot of Cyber activity here. I believe this base you're approaching is a bit older than we anticipated." Savant answered back.

The group were then dropped into a room of targets, which dropped assorted powerups, as Boki picked up a mix of Force, Tornado and Explode, while Heiwa picked up Wave, Bounce and Lightning, and Popol picked up Plasma, Quick and Remote. With all of them loaded with combos, they wreaked havoc on the enemies below, as Boki was launching fiery dragons across the stage, while Heiwa fired off bursts of blue lightning that ricocheted between targets, and Popol fired spear traps that exploded into rains of spears when the enemies touched them. The resulting destruction eradicated the enemies fairly quickly, as they were moved onto the next area.

The area itself was an arena situated between stone walls, as they came face to face with another Magna Exchikke, except halves of white armour began to appear on the sides, before they merged together with the large robot, creating a bright flash of light, as the visor slid up to reveal the eyes of the Exchikke, as the group prepared for a fight against it.

"A knight, huh? That's interesting…" Popol hummed.

Robot in Shining Armour

Exchikkalibur

When the group tried to attack the robot, they found that their attacks were ineffective against it, as Popol's spear merely bounced off it, and the projectiles that hit it fizzled away into nothing with no effect on the armour itself. What's more, the robot was summoning giant weapons, consisting of either bows, pikes, lances, swords and axes, as it was using them to attack the group.

"How are we supposed to hurt this thing!?" Heiwa exclaimed, as she dodged under a sword swing. "Nothing is working against it!"

"I don't know, but there must be something to get through that armour…" Boki remarked, before she then eyed the weapons. "Maybe… if we can get the weapons somehow, they might actually work against the armour!"

Popol immediately began to block against one of the lances, before he then countered with a powerful swing that caused the weapon to clatter to the ground. Popol immediately reached over to pick it up, as it moved to float by his side. When he willed the weapon to attack, it immediately shot towards the robot, hitting it, causing it to flinch as if the weapon had some effect on it.

Boki and Heiwa quickly noticed this, as they began to fire down the weapons, as Heiwa managed to acquire an axe, and Boki a sword, as the three of them immediately used the machine's own weapons against it, even using said weapons to take down more weapons, which added to their own firepower, as they were wielding a set of weapons themselves.\

Suddenly, the armoured robot summoned a set of shields around it, in order to protect itself. Although the shields managed to block most of the attacks, there were only so many shields that it could use to block, causing some of the attacks to hit it undefended.

Eventually, through a long weary battle, the group managed to cause visible damage on the machine's armour, as it immediately transformed, lowering its visor, causing its weapons to turn golden, although the same happened to the group's weapons as well, as the weapons from both sides flew at lightning-fast speeds at each side.

As the fight continued, the group managed to use the empowered weapons to destroy the robot's shields one by one, before it was subject to the full crushing might of the legion of weapons, as its armour finally gave way, dropping a fainted Magna Exchikke before them, as the group launched a finishing blow that destroyed the Exchikke, as the weapons all faded away, their purpose complete.

"So, even the Exchikkalibur was no match for you three…" A unknown voice told them, seemingly male, and far different to the other voice that they heard before. "Perhaps I will get the privilege of challenging you and your companions after all, Boki Lamira."

"Huh? Where the heck did that voice come from?" Boki wondered.

"Does it matter? Seems like we got another big guy to take care of!" Popol exclaimed, as they headed deeper into the castle.
