Four years after the kidnapping of Izuku Midoriya...
Izuku groaned as he squinted his eyes to block the harsh light of the white room in which he was forced to sleep. Knowing that he wasn't going to get anymore sleep, the young man threw the blanket from over his body, revealing that he was now covered in lean muscle, no longer the scrawny kid he had been so many years ago.
Quickly getting dressed in the mandatory gray jumpsuit, he began to wake up the five little girls who knew him as Father.
The first was the white-haired girl, Eri. Her quirk was called Rewind, it allowed her to restore anything to a previous state, including humans; however, she didn't have the best control of it.
"Morning, Papa," Eri yawned.
"Good morning. Go get dressed," Izuku said.
Next were the twins, Yuki and Yuka. Yuki, the twin with green eyes, had an extremely powerful Ecokinesis quirk. And Yuka, the one with hazel eyes, had an equally powerful Geokinesis quirk.
"Hi, daddy!" the two shouted in unison as they ran off to change their clothes.
Izuku smiled and waved at them before going to wake up the girl with the star-shaped pupils, Sayori. Her quirk was called Clay. Her body was made up of a substance similar to clay, allowing her to change her form at will.
"Good morning, Father," Sayori greeted before she followed her three sisters.
Izuku then woke up the final girl, Chihaya. Her quirk was known as Dragon; it gave her all the properties of the mythological beast, as well as a deadly lightning breath attack.
"Mornin', dad," Chihaya groaned as she got out of bed.
As soon as the girls had put on their uniforms, a man dressed in all black unlocked their door and began to escort them to the cafeteria, exactly the same time as every other day that Izuku had spent in this forsaken place.
The other inmates had already arrived and been given their food, although a few of them were just sitting and scowling at their meal.
A female inmate, one with long black hair that had been dyed purple at the tips, began to quietly harmonize with herself. Before anybody could react, the guard closest to her drew his pistol and shot two of the other guards in the head, before getting a bullet put in his head. Izuku was just glad that he had covered the girl's eyes when he first heard her singing.
The woman began to maniacally laugh to herself before she screamed and spasmed as her body was shocked by an unseen force. Her body was then picked up and dragged away by more guards.
"I would have thought that everybody would have learned not to fight back at this point," Sayori said quietly.
Izuku didn't say anything back, simply opting to pat the small girl on the head.
After eating the slop that was supposed to be breakfast, they were all escorted to separate rooms. Each was covered with white panels and had a large reinforced glass window protecting the scientists and doctors that were observing them.
"Today we will be testing your skin's durability. Activate your power and we will begin," a doctor with a German accent commanded as the walls slid open and skinny, silver robots stepped forward, carrying swords, bats, and spears.
Izuku closed his eyes and took in a deep breath, and when he opened his eyes again, his irises had turned from green to red. A robot charged at him with a bat and swung at his face, only for it to bounce off and smash into the robot's.
Izuku stood still as the robot's attacked him, or tried to. His quirk, Rage, made him hit like a train, and allowed him to take as much punishment as one. The angrier he allowed himself to get, the stronger and more durable he would get at the cost of his self-control; if he wasn't careful, he could easily slip into a rampaging beast at the drop of a dime.
"Good," the German said once he had collected enough data, "now for your strength. These robots can handle up to 50,000 newtons of force. Try your best to crush them."
Izuku spent the next two hours filling the room with scrap.
"Very good, very good. You shall be escorted back to your daughters now," the doctor said as a guard came in and began to pull Izuku by his arm.
Once they had returned to his room, the guard pressed a few buttons on a keypad. The door slid open and Izuku was shoved inside.
Sayori, the twins, and Chihaya were waiting on their beds for him to return, but one of the cots was suspiciously empty.
"Where is Eri?" Izuku asked the guard, who hadn't closed the door yet.
"That's something that you don't need to know," the guard spat.
Izuku felt his hold on his rage slip as he stomped towards the man. "What the hell have you done with my daugh—" Izuku's jaw snapped shut and he fell to his knees as his body received a strong jolt of electricity from a device that was implanted in his neck.
"Know your place!" the guard said as he kicked Izuku in the stomach, before he shut the door.
Izuku growled as he pulled himself to his feet, he sat down on his bed and pulled out a thin leather book and a pencil.
In order to keep his rage under control, he had taken up the hobby of art. His daughters were especially intrigued by it, constantly asking him for drawings of themselves.
Currently, he was working on a picture of Chihaya, her wings spread and a bolt of lightning escaping her mouth. He just needed to calm himself down, nothing that bad could happen to his baby girl.
Right?
-- Two hours later
The door slid open and a guard walked in, escorting a teary-eyed Eri who broke down immediately and crashed into her father with fat tears falling down her cheeks.
Izuku tilted the girl's head up and his eyes widened in horror; her small horn had been cut in half.
"What. Happened!" Izuku yelled.
"Nothing you need to know about," the guard told him.
Izuku stood up and he felt his rage take over. "I do need to know about it because I'm her father!"
The guard attempted to activate the chip in his neck, but his wrist was caught by Izuku, and squeezed until it could no longer keep his hand attached to his arm.
"Keep each other safe until I get back," Izuku whispered with his last ounce of self-control before he ran off into the hallway.
Izuku could feel his rage turning him into a feral beast more and more, growling and lashing at any guard that got in his way.
It wasn't too long before the guards formed a roadblock of sorts to prevent him from moving forward. Izuku knew that the chip in his neck was shocking him, but he didn't care at this point; all that mattered was finding the scumbag that had hurt his daughter.
"The implant is malfunctioning, open fire!" the lead guard commanded as he let the bullets fly from his gun.
Izuku acted fast and ripped a huge sheet of metal from the wall and used it was a shield to protect himself from the hail of bullets.
Once the gunfire ceased, presumably so that they could reload, Izuku slung the sheet and sliced right through the guards.
The green-haired man panted slightly before a squishing sound from behind him caught his attention. Standing with his chest covered in blood was a seven-foot tall bald man with gray skin, a dorsal fin sticking out of the back of his jumpsuit, gills on his neck, and rows of sharp triangular teeth.
Izuku quickly worked out that the gray-skinned man had saved him from a sneak attack and gave him a nod to show his thanks.
The man nodded back before he turned around to face the other guards that were swarming into the hallway.
"PRISON RIOT!" the shark man yelled before he ran in their direction and began another slaughter.
Izuku walked through the desolate halls and searched each one of the labs for any signs of life, eventually finding a scientist who had been keeping the door secure by pointing a small pistol at it.
"Come any closer and I'll shoot you, freak!" he warned.
Izuku took one step, then two steps, then three, and the scientist fired the gun, only for the bullet to flatten like an empty soda can against Izuku's skull. He grabbed the barrel of the gun and squeezed it shut before also grabbing the scientist by the throat.
That was when Izuku spotted something out of the corner of his eye; the other half of Eri's horn was sitting idly under a microscope.
Izuku slammed the scientist against the table. "IT WAS YOU!"
"Please, I was just doing my job," the man sobbed.
The Rage user reached over and grabbed the small piece of Eri's horn. "Your job hurt my little girl," he whispered, before slamming the horn into his forehead, killing him.
BANG!
Izuku felt a sharp pain in his stomach as rage mode deactivated. He looked up to see a man holding a heavy caliber sniper rifle standing in the doorway.
Izuku fell to the ground and felt himself begin to black out, he silently cursed himself before he could keep his consciousness no more.
When Izuku awoke once more, he was strapped to a metal table with multiple black silhouettes surrounding him.
"We'll need to do something to discourage this kind of behavior with the other inmates," one of the silhouettes said.
"Indeed," another agreed.
"This may be a good opportunity to test one of the inventions that Mr. Shield has been making for us," a German voice suggested.
"What did you have in mind, doctor?" the first silhouette asked.
"A robotic prosthetic that we will replace his arm with, one far deadlier than he could ever be," the doctor explained, before he reached over and grabbed what appeared to be a bonesaw, "Administer the anesthesia."
Izuku felt a plastic mask get put over his mouth and nose, and he started to get very tired. He thrashed around on the table, but it was no use; sleep overtook him in a matter of seconds.
When he awoke once more, he was short one appendage.
Izuku stood in one of the testing rooms for the second time that day. He had been having to be tested twice to calibrate his… replacement.
It had been three weeks since the doctors had taken his left arm, from his fingertips to his elbow was now metallic and cold, instead of fleshy and warm.
"Today, we will be testing your ability to switch between fighting tactics on the fly. If you get hit once, you will have to restart the test," a young scientist told him as the walls began to open up and the robots stepped forward, getting into fighting stances. "Begin."
Three long metal claws extended from the spaces between Izuku's knuckles as he charged and uppercutted the closest one to him. He then removed his claws from its head and split the next one from it's groin to it's gullet. Finally, he grabbed another one by the head and decapitated it.
More robots swarmed him, and he retracted his claws and flattened his palm, a hole formed in the center and a shotgun blast blew apart the head of the closest robot. Izuku grabbed another bot by the shoulder and fired twice into its chest. The Rage user sensed something charging from behind him, and he flipped backwards to avoid it, using his final shell to blast a hole through it once it was under him.
Izuku's gray fingertips separated from the rest of his fingers, dangling on thick gray cables. He threw his hand forward and wrapped them around a robot's legs and used it like a wrecking ball to smash another robot to pieces along with the bot in his grasp.
The final robot stepped up to the plate, only for Izuku to grab it by the neck and repeatedly headbutt it until it was dead.
"Calibration is complete. You and your arm are completely in sync. You shall be escorted to the dining hall," the young scientist said.
Once in the cafeteria, Izuku noticed that his daughters were sitting with another inmate, this one slightly rotund with dirty blond hair and dull blue eyes.
The inmate smiled at him and made a motion that told Izuku that he wanted to talk in secret.
"What do you want, Dōkan?" the green-haired man asked.
"We're busting out of this place; you, me, and everybody else," Dōkan whispered.
Izuku checked their surroundings and sighed. "How do you plan to do it?"
"Yūrei is gonna use his quirk to get into the central control room. From there, he's gonna unlock all the doors, then all we gotta do is run," Dōkan explained.
"That will never work; no matter how sneaky he is, they're bound to catch him," Izuku argued quietly.
"Which is why we're gonna cause a ruckus to keep the attention off of him."
"Last time I 'caused a ruckus,' it cost me an arm and a week in isolation."
The two sat in silence before Izuku spoke up again, "Thank you for watching my girls during that time, by the way."
"Don't mention it, but back on topic, once Yūrei does that, we're gonna bolt for the kitchen and get out through the door where the food gets delivered," Dōkan said.
"You mean the door that has one keycard that gets destroyed, replaced, and given to a new person each week?" Izuku deadpanned.
"That's the one snag in my plan; now I have a solution to it, but I need your permission to go through with it," Dōkan explained.
"And what is that?" Izuku cautiously asked.
"I'm gonna need Chihaya to give me a charge so that I can short out the circuit board."
"Absolutely not."
"Why?" Dōkan pleaded
"I'm not gonna make them accomplices to this, because if we get caught and the guards find out that my daughters tried to help us escape, they could be punished too," Izuku snapped and stood up, trying to walk away, but Dōkan grabbed him by the wrist.
"Izuku, I may have only spent a week with them, but I know for a fact that they deserve to see the light of day again. You need to know that they're gonna snap soon, just like you did. Everyone of us has blood on our hands, except for them, but with the way things are going right now, that may not be true for long," the dull-eyed man said before he let go.
Izuku was about to walk off again, but hesitated; Dōkan was right; when he was brought back from isolation, each one of the girls had stared at his escort with murderous intent. If there was one thing he didn't want his daughters having, it was a kill count.
Izuku sighed again before turning back around. "When do you plan on doing this?"
"In three days," Dōkan said with a feral grin.
"If anything happens to my girls, it's your head," Izuku warned.
"Don't worry, you'll have help protecting them." Dōkan gestured across the room to a man with long greasy black hair. The top half of his jumpsuit had the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, revealing tons of black tattoos.
"Who's that?"
"His name's Āto. His quirk allows him to take the tattoos from his body and bring them into reality; that's why he's got so many weapons on his arms. He's already agreed to watch out for your daughters when shit goes down," Dōkan said "But right now we need to separate before anything gets suspicious. I'll see you soon."
Izuku watched the slightly older man walk off, pulled out his sketchbook, and flipped to the final two pages, to a picture of Ochako, Kyouka, and Setsuna, simply standing and smiling.
Izuku wiped a stray tear from his eye. "I'll be back home soon," he softly muttered before closing the book and putting it back in his jumpsuit.
Shit's going off the rails real quick folks, I know that it's only chapter two and an escape plan has already been made, but I don't wanna spend too much time in the facility. That's it for now, peace.
