The exams were long over, blood pressures were dropping and people were leaving the test area, except for two.

"We all thought you were dead, we— we—" Ochako couldn't even spit the words out.

"Hey, it's alright. I'm alright," Izuku reassured her.

Ochako sniffed and gestured to his left arm, "I wouldn't exactly call a metal arm being alright."

Izuku chuckled, "Fair enough. So where are Kyouka and Setsuna? I may as well rip the band-aid off now and tell them," he sighed.

"Um, I can tell them for you, but maybe it's not the best for you to tell them yourself," Ochako said.

"Why's that?" Izuku asked.

"When you disappeared, they got kinda angry with you, after what we thought you did...I got a little angry too," Ochako admitted.

Izuku paused, his disappearance couldn't have had that much of an effect on the three of them, they were close sure but…

"I should go, Mom and Dad will be wondering about me." Ochako wrapped her arms around him one last time and pressed a kiss against his cheek, "Bye Izuku."

"I don't understand why they're upset with me, it's not like it's my fault that I got kidnapped," Izuku said.

"They don't know that," Yubi shrugged, "When you disappeared and everybody thought you had...y'know. They felt like you abandoned them, that you didn't care about them enough to live."

Izuku's face fell, "I didn't know they cared that much about me."

"You really have no idea do you?" Yubi asked, he sighed and stood up, "Come on, there's something I ought to show you."

Izuku followed Yubi out of the hole and through the woods a little bit, they came across a small clearing with a wooden cross sitting in the middle of it.

Across the horizontal board it read: Izuku Midoriya.

"Jesus, they buried me?" Izuku whispered.

"It was made all the worse by the fact they didn't have a body, your mother almost died from grief," Yubi told him.

"...Does she still live at our old home?"

"Yeah, but are you sure you can just show up out of the blue with five little girls in tow?"

"I don't know, but it beats living in that hole any longer, the damn thing almost crumbled on us last night," Izuku sighed.

"Well, if you ever need me, you know where I'll be," Yubi said.

Izuku smiled and nodded, "Thank you Yubi, for everything."

"Daddy, what are we doing here?" Yuka asked.

Izuku sighed, "We're here to see your grandmother."

The door opened and a short woman peeked her head out, she was thinner than he remembered but not too much, her green hair was tied in a bun and she had the same emerald eyes that he did.

"Hey ma' it's been a while."

Inko froze as she stared at the face of her son, the son that she had thought died about half a decade ago. Not only was he here, but he had five little girls standing behind him.

"I know this is a lot to take in...but these are my daughters; Eri, Chihaya, Yuki, Yuka, and Sayori. We need a place to stay, if you don't want to then I understand, we'll...Mom?" Izuku asked when he noticed the vacant look in his eyes.

"Mom are you ok?"

"So many grandbabies," Inko whispered.

"Thank you for taking us in Mom, you didn't have to," Izuku said, it was late, real late, and the girls were already asleep in the guest room across the hall from his.

"What was I supposed to do? Let you and five little girls wander the streets like vagrants?" Inko rhetorically asked.

"Touche," Izuku chuckled.

Inko opened her mouth to say something but Izuku stopped her, "I'll explain everything in the morning. Right now, I just want to go to bed."

"Okay, Izuku, I understand. Goodnigh—"

"MPD, please open up ma'am!" A banging on the door interrupted Inko.

"Stay here, I'll go see what they want," Inko told him before exiting his room.

"Hello officer. Can I help you with something?" Inko asked.

"Yes you can, I have a few questions for you' is all," the officer responded.

"Have I done anything wrong?"

"No, we just heard a disturbance in the area and wanted to see if anybody knew anything," the officer responded.

"I haven't heard anything no," Inko told him.

"Well if you do, just call us please," the officer said, and then the door shut.

Izuku immediately stepped out of his room, "He didn't believe you, he knows we're here."

"Who knows?" Inko asked.

"Stay with the girls, I'll be back!"

Izuku stalked through the train yard, tailing the cop that was just at his door, after another minute of following, he activated Rage before jumping out and grabbing the guy by the throat, whirling around and slamming him into a train car.

"Now listen good, you're gonna— AH!" Izuku let out a cry and stumbled back as a bullet was lodged in his shoulder.

"You like 'em, they're called Jericho bullets. Meant specifically to take your ass down when you're on a power high," the fake cop chuckled.

Izuku yelled as he activated Rage again and knocked the gun from his hand before grabbing his neck and squeezing.

"You're gonna tell whoever you're about to meet that all you found in my home was a nice woman who misses her son. If you say anything else I'll know, and I'll break every bone in your body before I kill you, understand?" Izuku asked, getting a scared nod from the man.

Izuku bent over and picked up the gun, using Rage to crumple it up, "WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!"

With that the man took off running.

Izuku groaned as he got out of bed, he had fished the bullet out of his shoulder last night and the wound had healed up, leaving a small scar behind.

The hoodie had to go through, the hole might draw some questions. He peeled it off of him and settled for the gray undershirt he was wearing, none of his other clothes would fit him at this point.

He wandered out into the living room area, guided by the smell of something very good. Gathered around the dinner table were his daughters, his mother, and…

"What are you three doing here?" Izuku asked.

"I invited them, so you could explain what happened to you," Inko admitted.

"Girls, I need you to leave the room for a minute."

His daughters nodded and left their seats with a chorus of 'Yes Dad's' leaving the five of them alone.

"You better have a good goddamn reason for leaving us or I'm walking out that door," Kyouka growled.

"Kyouka," Ochako reprimanded.

"No, she has a point, he disappeared for five years we have a right to be angry!" Setsuna yelled.

"I was kidnapped!" Izuku shouted suddenly, "I was taken by a government program that finds people with powerful and versatile quirks, takes them from their homes, and trains them to be as deadly as they can be."

"But you don't have a quirk," Inko said.

Red seeped into Izuku's irises, "Yeah that's what I thought too. I was taken to be a caregiver for those girls, but when they discovered that I had a powerful quirk of my own, they decided to put me through the program as well."

"You keep saying program, what program is that exactly?" Kyouka asked.

"We were being trained to be private death squads, sold to the highest bidder with no questions asked. Me, and the people I escaped with were gonna be sold to the French Military," Izuku answered.

"Wait a minute aren't they at war with Spain and Portugal right now, quirk warfare totally violates the Geneva Conventions, they can't do that," Setsuna said.

"Doesn't matter, they've been at war for a decade now all they want to do is win, no matter the cost," Izuku shrugged as he sat down and poured himself a mug of coffee, while thumbing at the scar on his neck.

"And the metal arm?" Ochako asked.

"...Did you see that horn on Eri's head, how it was cut in half. Well the way my quirk works, the angrier I get, the stronger I am, and the less impulse control I have, so when I found out that they hurt her, I went on a rampage and when they put me down…. They felt it necessary to punish me." Izuku pulled out one of his claws and stabbed into a piece of toast.

"So I'm assuming all those scars are from wherever they were keeping you?" Kyouka asked, there wasn't anymore anger in her voice, just remorse.

"Yeah. Look I'm sorry I didn't come to you immediately but I needed to wait for things to die down. I can't let them catch me again and you guys are the first places they would look," Izuku sighed.

"That police officer..."

"Yeah, he wasn't a part of the police," Izuku answered.

After a minute of silence, Setsuna grabbed his fake hand from under the table, "I'm sorry we were so angry at you."

"Nah, I probably would've done the same," Izuku told her.

"No you wouldn't have," Kyouka scoffed.

"Dad, we can come out from the hallway now right?" Chihaya asked.

Izuku chuckled, "Yes, you can come out. It's been a while since any of us have had a home cooked meal and my mother is one of the best cooks you'll meet."
