Keith watched as Marina and Camilla both played with Lance on the playground. They had decided to meet at the playground near Keith's house, which may or may not have been influenced by the twins begging to the park lately.

He hated to admit it but Lance really looked like a father as he pushed the twins on the swing. He couldn't help but think of what life would have been like if he and Lance hadn't broken up. Lance loved kids and Keith could see it whenever he saw Lance interacting with his niece and nephew whenever he could come over to Lance's house and he saw it now with the twins.

He and Lance two years into their relationship had started talking about kids and if they wanted to adopt kids or even foster kids. Which then led to names they would name their kids.

"If we were to adopt a kid, what would you name him or her?" Lance asked as they got ready for bed. Lance was sleeping over at Keith's place after a movie marathon all day.

"What?"

"Well, we talked about if we wanted kids or not last week," Lance said as he climbed into the bed. "What would you name him or her?"

"I don't know," Keith said with a shrug of his shoulders as he took his jacket off and placed it on his chair by his desk. "I've never really thought about it. Have you?"

"Not actively," Lance said with a shake of his head. "But there's one name that always popped into my head if I were to have a girl."

"What?" Keith asked as he climbed into bed beside Lance.

"Camilla, probably Cami for short."

"That-That's actually really pretty."

"Funny, that's what my Mom said when she asked when I was helping Lisa with baby names one day."

"What if the baby was a boy?" Keith asked.

"Hmm, maybe Jayden," Lance thought out loud.

"That's better than what my Mom wanted to name me before my Dad changed her mind," Keith said with a huff.

"What did she almost name you?"

"Yorak."

Lance threw his head back and laughed.

Keith was brought out of his thoughts when he heard Lance's laughter. He looked up to see Lance and the twins playing a game of tag, currently, Marina was it and was chasing Lance and Camilla. Keith couldn't help the smile that formed on his face.

A few hours later, the twins were both sitting tiredly beside Keith on the bench, Camilla leaning against Keith and Marina leaning against Camilla.

"Looks like they've tired themselves out," Lance said with a smile as he watched the girls.

"They always do when we go to the park," Keith said with a smile as he ran his fingers through Camilla's hair.

"Thank you for this," Lance said softly, turning Keith's attention back to Lance. "For letting me see them."

"Don't thank me," Keith said with a shake of his head. "Thank them, it was their choice to want to see you, even if Camilla didn't want to at first."

"Even so, you gave them the choice in the first place."

"I guess," Keith said with a shrug of his shoulders.

"I-"

"If you're going to mention how we should talk and work things through, please don't," Keith said with a shake of his head, moving his gaze to the ground. "Like I said before, our time is over, it was over four years ago."

"I understand," Lance said with a sigh.

It had been a few days since the twins had met Lance. Today was the day that Lance was set to return back to Cranston, despite Keith telling Lance that their time was over, he couldn't help but feel a wave of sadness rush over him.

'It's cause he's leaving me again, he's leaving us again,' Keith thought with a sigh. He was currently doing dishes from dinner while the twins were cleaning the playroom. Normally it was clean but Keith had other thoughts in his head and had let it get a little too messy.

He turned as he heard the doorbell ring. He checked the time of the stove to see it was 7 pm. He wasn't expecting anyone so he was confused on who could be at the door. Shiro and Adam would have messaged him saying they were coming over, same with Krolia and Kolivan. Allura and Romelle had already headed back to Cranston. Apparently, Romelle was moving there for work and they had plans to move Romelle into Allura's apartment. It was the triplets' bedtime soon so he doubted it was Shay or Hunk.

That only left-

Keith shook the thoughts away and headed to the front door, tossing the hand cloth on the counter as he exited the kitchen. He opened the door and froze seeing a not so familiar face. She looked familiar but Keith couldn't put his finger on it.

"Hello Keith, I'm Nyma," Nyma said with a soft smile. "I'm sorry for dropping in on you like this but I needed to speak with you. Can I come in?"

Oh. So that's why he recognized her. This was Nyma, Lance's fiancée.

"Uh, yeah," Keith said with a nod stepping aside to let Nyma inside. He led her to the living room and the pair sat down on the couch.

"We've never met but Lance has told me about you," Nyma said as she pulled her jacket off and sat it on the couch behind her. "I'm sure you're wondering why I'm here."

"Is it a new way of dropping off wedding invitations?" Keith joked lightly, cringing at his own try at a 'joke'.

"Wedding invitation? Didn't Lance tell you?" Nyma asked, a confused look forming on her face.

"Tell me what?" Keith asked.

"We called the wedding off," Nyma said showing her hand which no longer held the engagement ring she would wear. "Lance talked to his parents and told them the truth. Did he not tell you?"

"He never did," Keith said with a shake of his head. "Wait, what do you mean he told his parents the truth?"

"The truth, about his sexuality, about you two, and about your twin girls," Nyma explained.

"Wha-How? We talked about him eventually telling his parents when we dated but he was always afraid of what would happen. After what happened with his sister Veronica."

"Well, he didn't willingly do it," Nyma said with a sigh. "It was kind of forced to come out."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, you see…"

Lance had just started packing his suitcase to leave in a few days, Hunk and Shay had wanted to stay a week more the triplets had gotten homesick and so it was decided that they would leave in a few days instead.

He tossed his jacket on the bed beside the blue leather suitcase when he heard a knock at his hotel room door. There was no call of "housekeeping" or "room service" after it so he thought it might be Hunk or Shay (doubtful, Shay and him weren't exactly on the same side). He opened it and was surprised to find his mother on the other side, a smile on her face.

"Mama?" he asked with wide eyes. "What are you doing here I thought I told you I was coming back with Hunk and Shay."

"Oh I know love," Rosa said with a nod, before her smile faded softly and her face grew serious. "We need to talk, everyone's in the conference room."

"Who is "We" and what's going on?"

"I'll explain everything later honey, come on," Rosa said grabbing Lance's wrist and pulling him out of his room and down the hall to the elevator. She didn't let go until the doors closed and they were heading to the bottom floor. Lance could see she was nervous, she refused to look him in the eyes.

He followed his mother down the hall to the conference room. Inside sat his father, Nyma's father Mitchell, Nyma's mother Danielle, Nyma, Cassandra, her boyfriend Dominic, Rachel, and-

"Veronica?" Lance asked with wide eyes. It had been years since he had seen his older sister. Not since…But, why was she here?

Veronica turned to him with a smile on her face, her girlfriend Acxa sitting beside her. Matching silver rings on their fingers.

"Sit down Lance," Michael said turning to his son with a hard look on his face. "We need to talk."

Lance took a seat beside Nyma who nodded to him softly, before she turned and shared a nod with Veronica and Rachel.

"I'm not going to beat around the bush here, Lance," Michael said with a sigh. "We know about Keith and his daughters, your daughters."

Lance flinched and lowered his gaze to the ground. However, not before catching Cassandra's smirk in the corner of his eye, she was staring at Lance with a look that screamed it was her who told his parents.

"I wish you would have told us love," Rosa said with a frown, her heart clenching as Lance refused to meet her eyes. "But, we support you 100% of the way."

Lance's eyes widened and he looked up to his parents in confusion. Okay that he was not expecting. He was expecting them to be angry, mad, furious, you know it. He expected them to scream his head off about "how dare he choose that lifestyle" and how much it hurt them.

What he didn't expect was to look into his mother's eyes and see unconditional love and tenderness in her eyes. He didn't expect to see sorrow and love in his father's eyes.

"I don't understand," Lance said with a shake of his head.

"I don't care if you're into men or if you're into girls," Rosa said with a shake of her head. "You're my baby and I love you dearly. I already lost one of my baby's because I couldn't accept it at the time, I couldn't stand it if I lost another one." Rosa turned to Veronica with tears in her eyes with a tender smile.

"I fear our reaction to Veronica is what kept you from telling us the truth," Michael said with a sigh. "And after speaking with Veronica and Rachel, I know now that my suspicion is correct."

"We're sorry we forced you into making a choice you would be unhappy with," Rosa said with a frown. "I failed to see how miserable you were in the choice to marry Nyma, she wasn't the one who held your heart. Keith was."

"I admit, I also knew Nyma would be unhappy being forced to marry just for the shake of our companies merging," Mitchell said with a sigh. "And yet I chose to look the other way because I was so focused on the good of the company."

"I say we denounce the engagement," Danielle said with a smile. "I see no reason to force a marriage when we can just make an arrangement for the campiness to merge."

"I agree," Mitchell said with a nod.

Veronica and Rachel shared a smile as they saw the look of shock on her face.

"What's wrong Cassandra?" Veronica asked with a teasing smirk. "Things not go according to your plan?"

"I have no idea what you're talking about," Cassandra said with a scoff.

"I think you do," Michael said eyeing Cassandra with a glare. "You put yourself into someone else's business and made it try and work in your benefit."

"I heard everything and talked to Veronica to come up with a plan," Rachel said with a smirk. "She had wanted to reach out to our parents for some time but was scared of rejection once more."

"We met up and we all made up, they agreed to change their biases to mend our relationship which is why they're so accepting of Lance right now," Veronica said smiling at Lance.

"We may not be 100% understanding of everything right now but we're willing to work and understand," Rosa said with a smile.

"Now that we have that out of the way," Michael said turning to Mitchell. "I believe you will find an appropriate punishment for that one?" he asked motioning to Cassandra.

"Believe it," Mitchell replied with a nod.

With that, Mitchell, Danielle, Cassandra, and Dominic bid the McClain family good night and left.

"Is now a bad time to tell you that I'm Bisexual?" Rachel asked with pulled laughs from the family.

"Well, we did say we'd work to understand," Michael said with a smile. "I'm glad you told us Rachel."

"Then I guess I better say it then," Lance said with a smile as he slipped off the ring and placed it on the table.

"I'm Gay."

"So you see," Nyma said as she finished explaining the story. "Mine and Lance's families broke off the engagement and Lance told the truth."

"He told me he broke off the engagement for good," Keith said feeling his heart flood with guilt. "But I didn't believe him, my heart didn't want to believe him."

"And what is your heart telling you now?" Nyma asked.

"It's conflicted," Keith said with a sigh. "Half of me wants to still be angry with Lance and…"

"And?"

"And the other half wants to run to him and forgive him."

"I can't make the choice for you," Nyma said with a shake of her head, a smile on her face. "It's up to you, just know that Lance was a mess after you two broke up."

There was a few minutes of silence before Keith spoke again.

"I know what I want to do."

The next day Keith had texted Lance if they could meet up that afternoon, at the coffee shop near the bar. Lance had of course texted back saying he would be there. Keith had dropped the twins off at his mother's place and headed to the coffee shop early, sitting in a booth in the quiet corner of the shop.

His heart was beating a million miles an hour as he waited for Lance to show up. His watch showed it was 1:58 pm, two minutes before Lance was supposed to arrive. The waitress came by with his caramel macchiato and another for Lance. Guess it was one thing that stuck with him, Lance was the one who got him hooked on them after all.

The bell above the door went off and Keith looked up to find Lance had walked in, dressed in blue-washed jeans, a white t-shirt, and a blue jacket. He looked around the coffee shop and smiled seeing Keith sitting at a booth, Lance headed over and sat down across from Keith.

"Hey," Lance said after a few moments of awkward silence.

"Hey," Keith replied. "I got you a caramel macchiato, you still like those right?"

"Y-yeah," Lance said with a nod. "Thanks."

There was a few more moments of silence before Keith spoke up. A song playing from the speakers, playing as he spoke.

"Baby I'm falling head over heels

Looking for ways to let you know just how I feel"

"I know what happened with your family," Keith said softly. Lance froze and looked up at Keith who was staring down at the cup that his hands were cupping. "Nyma showed up at my place last night and told me everything, how your parents found out about you being gay, how Cassandra forced you to come out, and how your families broke off the engagement."

"Honestly, I'm glad she did," Lance said with a chuckle. "I would have tried to tell you myself again but I knew you wouldn't believe me."

"I wish I was holding you by my side

I wouldn't change a thing 'cause finally it's real"

"I'm sorry I didn't," Keith said with a sigh. "There's still a world of hurt within me with what happened between us and how it ended."

"I never wanted to hurt you," Lance said with a shake of his head. "I was just too much of a coward to tell my parents the truth."

"I'm tryna hold back, you oughta know that

You're the one that's on my mind

Falling too fast, deeply in love

Finding the magic in the colors of you"

"I guess I can't really blame you looking back on it," Keith said with a sigh. "It took me years to finally wind up enough courage to come out to my mother, and to Shiro."

"I still should have just come clean about the engagement in the first place," Lance said with a sigh. "We could have worked something out, together."

"You're the right time at the right moment

You're the sunlight, keeps my heart going, woah

Know when I'm with you can't keep myself from falling

Right time at the right moment

It's you

You, it's you

You, it's you"

"And now your parents know," Keith said offering a small smile. "About everything."

"Yeah," Lance said with a nod. "It feels like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders."

"But?" Keith asked seeing how Lance wanted to say more.

"It's my heart that's heavy now."

"Baby I'm falling deeper in love

Everything that you are is all I'm dreaming of"

"I guess it has been heavy for a while, since we broke up," Lance said with a sheepish smile.

"You're not the only one," Keith said softly, Lance had to strain his ears to hear what Keith said.

"And if I can break enough to show you that I need us

I'd give up everything I have, girl, just for you"

"I know you said our time together was over," Lance said as Keith took a sip of his coffee. "But I wanted to put the question back on the table."

I'm tryna hold back, you oughta know that

You're the one that's on my mind

Falling too fast deeply in love

Girl, all I need to breathe is you

"About us you mean?" Keith asked, his heart clenching.

"Yeah," Lance said with a nod. "I'm willing to try again, the right way this time. I just need to know if you are as well."

"'Cause you're the right time at the right moment

You're the sunlight, keeps my heart going, oh-woah

Know when I'm with you, I can't keep myself from falling

Right time at the right moment

It's you"

"I don't know," Keith said with a sigh. "Half of me wants to leap at the chance but half of me is still hurting."

"I want to make things better with us," Lance said reaching across the table and grabbing Keith's hand. "Not just for us but for the twins, I wasn't there at the beginning but I want to be there now."

"Every night in my bed I'm dreaming

That it's you in my arms I'm holding

Girl, all I want is you"

"I know what you mean," Keith said with a nod. "But the question is, will my heart allow me to try things again with you?"

"There's only one way to find out," Lance said getting out of his seat and pulling Keith out of his.

"Lance, what are you-"

"Do you trust me?" Lance asked, cutting Keith off. Keith was silent for a few moments before he nodded softly.

"I do."

"Then close your eyes and trust me," Lance said. Keith nodded once more before he slowly closed his eyes and willed himself to trust Lance.

There was a few moments of nothing before Keith felt pressure on his lips. His heart leaped as he recognized what was happening.

"You know you're the right time at the right moment

You're the sunlight, keeps my heart going

It's you, you, you, yeah"

Lance was kissing him.

And his heart allowed it.

Keith soon kissed back and he could feel his heart flooding with overwhelming emotion. This kiss was nothing compared to the kisses he had with James. This was right.

"'Cause you're the right time at the right moment

You're the sunlight keeps my heart going

Know when I'm with you, I can't keep myself from falling

Right time at the right moment

It's you

You, it's you

You, it's you"

"Guess that answers my question," Lance said with a chuckle as he pulled away. "So, can I take that as a yes?"

"You, it's you

You, it's you

It's you"

"You tell me," Keith whispered with a soft smile as he leaned in and kissed Lance once more.

Author's Note:

I'm back everyone! Sorry for being inactive. As I said in my last chapter I came down with a sickness. Luckily, it was just a chest cold and I just got back to normal. No more sickness for me! Which is good because the medicine I was taking was awful. It was gross and I had it twice a day every six hours, I was very high on cold medicine. But, it did its job and I managed to get over my cold.

Anyways, I did in fact cry writing this chapter. Not only having to write Lance finally come out to his parents and having them accept them, but also having Veronic being brought back into the family, and the Klance kiss at the end. So many emotions for me to write in one chapter.

Thought Question: What happens now that Keith and Lance are going to be back together?

Anyways, it is 6:13 am for me right now so I should probably head to bed. I slept all day yesterday so I did not get tired until now. I just wanted to get a new chapter out since the last one was published at the beginning of the month.

Until the next one!
