Maddie let her fingers drift through the cool water as her body soaked up the sun. The contrast kept her awake even though she was dying to drift off and forget the fight she had gotten in to with her mother the day before. She hadn't seen or spoken to her since and even though she felt a little bad, she still felt as if her argument was valid. This whole thing started because of the club but she wanted to finish it herself. She was almost insulted that it had been suggested that she didn't. Did they think she wasn't strong enough to do it? Were they even still looking for Cameron?
Madison sighed and tried to relax into the warm air-filled plastic beneath her. She was tired but feeling restless. She was allowed to go almost wherever she wanted to, but she had someone tagging along. Maddie has almost just packed up and taken off, not telling anyone where she was going until she was away and even then, she wasn't sure if she would tell them. What if she just left everything behind? What if she changed her name, lived as someone else and left Samcro behind forever? It had been so damn tempting. She could have lived her live how she wanted to as a new person. But. Something held her back and she ended up sitting in the pool on a raft ignoring the fact that she would eventually have to face the music again.
"Well, not what I was but expecting but I'm not complaining in the slightest." Madison opened her eyes and turned towards the voice coming from the patio. A handsome man with dark hair and vibrant green eyes stood at the edge of the pool with his arms crossed eyeing her.
"Well, I wasn't expecting any visitors. Did my mom send you?" Maddie inched her float towards the shallow end and the stairs, never taking her eyes off him. His cut hadn't gone unnoticed, and she felt mildly annoyed.
"Nope. Your dad actually." The stranger didn't seem to notice her aggravation as she finally stood and began up the stairs. "He pulled Trent from babysitting duty and sent me instead. At first, I thought it was a punishment but now I am thinking it might be a reward." Her smirked and Madison hated the tugging feeling in her belly. She would have to be blind to not notice how attractive he was, even more so when he smiled. He picked up the towel that had been sitting on the end of one of the lounge chairs and unfolded it slowly, holding it out for her. Madison stepped into it, her eyes lingering on his.
"Trust me, it isn't a reward." She dropped her eyes to his lips to catch another smirk then headed for the house. She could hear him walking behind her but not too closely. "Thirsty?" She asked over her shoulder as they entered the kitchen. She pulled open the fridge and grabbed two waters without waiting for a response. Turning she was surprised to find him so closely, so she handed him his water and slipped by him. "I need to change." He walked beside her as she slowly made her way up the stairs.
"Okay. Probably a good idea." They reached her room and she backed into it, one hand still clutching her full water bottle, the other one holding on to her towel. He followed a few steps before coming to a halt right in the doorway of the room. Maddie placed the bottle on the dresser and studied her new babysitter. She didn't recognize him from the few times she had been at the club but he clearly belonged to her father and the stupid club. Madison tried to swallow the anger that rose in her throat knowing that as long as she lived in Charming, she would be stuck with babysitters, under her family's thumb and rule. She would have to endure living the life her mother always dreamed for her, crow tattoo and all. The frustration seeped in to her veins as she dropped the towel on the floor and let his eyes rake over her barely covered body. To hell with their rules. She wanted to take her life back. She wanted to make decisions for herself and abandon all SOA rules. As Maddie stepped forward, she heard the water bottle crunch slightly in his hand. "I…um.." The smirk that had been on his face was gone and his cheeks were now tinted red.
"I need help with my tie." Maddie's voice was low and husky. She gathered her hand over her shoulder and turned. For a moment she wasn't sure if he was going to help her or turn and run. Then after a few seconds she could feel his warm fingers graze her back as he tugged on the strings holding her top together. Slowly turning back to face him, Maddie let the top fall to the ground. "Oops." His eyes tried desperately to not stray from her face but his desire won out quickly as he took her in. Madison could see the need echoing hers in his eyes and she knew she had him right where she wanted him. Standing on her tip toes she brushed her lips against his. Instinctively, his hand came up to cup her cheek, the other winding its way around her waist.
"I really shouldn't…." He stammered, his lips swiping against hers with every word. Maddie nodded softly. No, they probably shouldn't but she wanted to. Without another word his lips finally met hers. They were soft and firm but not possessive like the last person she kissed. His kiss told her he wanted control but wouldn't be controlling. Madison wrapped her hand around the opening of his cut and tugged him further into the room. Everything slipped from her mind as they fell on to her bed. There were no thoughts of the Sons. There were no thoughts of the club life, or Cameron. There were no thoughts of her obligations or of a certain biker.
