A/N: Well we're at the end. This was one of my shorter ones but I had no monumental plans for this one. Just a cute meeting of the two girls and the blossoming of their infatuation with each other. Maybe I will come up with a follow-up. I'm not immune to the occasional sequel but the right idea has to hit me like a brick to do one.

It's been pretty quiet out there, I must admit. So hopefully I will hear from some of you in the reviews now we are at the end. I really wanted to know what you all thought.

Have a very happy holidays this December and a fantastic New Year too!

Sasha opened her eyes and saw that it was still pretty dark.

She couldn't reach her phone and the clock on the wall was nowhere in her line of sight. It could be the next day and she wouldn't know.

But she spotted the TV remote and was in a position to hold it up and flip on the screen. Sash quickly lowered the volume for fear of waking the sleeping Anne on her chest.

She remembered them heavily making out on the couch and at some point they got sleepy or cold or something and someone got a blanket. They were both still in the clothes they wore. If Sasha was honest with herself that last few hours have been a blur. They must have fallen asleep after all that watching TV. It had an energy-saving feature to automatically switch off if there was no remote activity whatsoever for 60 straight minutes.

Turning to the news, she saw that it was 5:45 Sunday morning.

Anne was still snoring softly, not even thinking of waking up. She was drooling a tad on Sasha's shirt.

"I must be in love," she said softly to herself. "Because this would normally annoy me but I find it endearing when she does it."

Sash didn't have anything planned in particular so she kissed Anne on the head, making the sleeping girl smile, and snuggled deeper under the grey blanket.

"Sleeping in Sunday followed by breakfast with my girlfriend."

That word made her feel warm in her gut.

Girlfriend.

"Anne Boonchuy is my girlfriend!"

She embraced the sleeping beauty on top of her.

"And I'm never letting go."

Marcy Wu was finalizing the initial sketches on her latest panel for her web comic. She still couldn't get the hang of the digital tools and felt more comfortable drawing on paper and scanning her artwork to color and add words.

Her cell vibrated and she glanced over, thinking it was going to be her social media status again. She must gain at least five new followers a day.

Marcy was flattered to have an audience and that they were spread out in multiple countries.

"I'm an international-known creator!" she would tell everybody. "It must be good because I have a worldwide audience."

Her pencil stopped when she saw that it wasn't a post or a tweet.

It was Sasha back in L.A.

The girl dropped what she was doing and picked it up to read the new message. Doing the quick math in her head to compensate for time zones, she deduced that Sash was up really early this morning.

The text came up, saying "I'M SO IN LOVE!" with big hearts that made a rainbow.

Marcy was a little confused until the attached photo finished downloading.

There was Sasha and a snoozing Anne looking all cozy under the blanket together. Anne was out like a light but Sasha's words and her looking visibly smitten in this pic was proof enough.

She smiled and texted back a thumbs up and an emoji with hearts for eyes.

Once the phone said "Sent" Marcy went back to work.

"It's about time," she said.

Sasha felt warmth on her neck, which was now her new favorite way to wake up.

Anne was burying her face in her neck, kissing it. This sent what felt like champagne bubbles throughout her body.

"Good morning," muffled Anne, not fully ready to commit to the new day. Not while she had her Sasha to cuddle with.

"Morning," yawned Sasha. "How'd you sleep?"

"Okay," replied Anne, returning the yawn. "Best. Sleep. Ever."

The blonde massaged Anne's left ear. It didn't matter. Sasha was content on touching any part of her. Her touch was everything.

"Any plans for today?" asked Anne.

"Nope," sighed Sasha.

"I like the sound of that."

The grumbling noise coming from their stomachs proved even their appetites were in sync.

"Okay, we should really get some breakfast," Sasha declared.

After getting some sustenance in the form of eggs and bacon and toast, the girls got some much needed energy.

"So, I guess we're official now huh?" said Anne.

"If you need time..." Sasha said, putting her hand on her shoulder. "That's okay. You don't have to be...you know...out if you're not ready."

Anne nodded.

She wasn't sure what to do with this new information about herself and how to let those in her life know. That made her grateful for Sasha. At least she had someone to help her navigate these feelings. Sash was on her own before coming out.

Anne hugged Sasha in return.

"Thanks, but I don't want to sit on this for too long. One because I see how miserable you were keeping yourself hidden. Your real self."

Sash squeezed her harder.

"Second reason is I can't wait to tell everybody that I have the coolest girlfriend in the multi-verse!"

"Who were you planning to tell first, your parents?"

Anne shrugged.

"Might as well; they're gonna figure it out anyways."

"Well I'll be there with you when you do. I'm sure your mom and dad will be cool. After being lost in another dimension, being imbued with other-worldly powers and cheating death multiple times...being queer should be no big deal."

Sasha was surprised by the quick kiss on the cheek.

"You're amazing," Anne said, looking at Sash with awe. "You know that?"

"I might have thought it once or twice but I didn't know I was so great until you told me."

The pair blushed, leaning on one another, unable to let go of their hands.

"Besides, I owe you one," Sasha said.

"Huh, what do you mean?"

"I might have outed us to Mar-Mar."

"Wait, what?"
