John didn't know when he fell asleep, he just remembered waking up. The demon's back was still facing him. It seemed as if Azazel wasn't even breathing. The only thing that made John think he was still conscious was the flames that surrounded them. They were crackling softly now, the soft glow of yellow light being the only thing allowing John to see. The hunter still hadn't figured out what allowed Azazel into the house. Mary gave up hunting long before they had gotten married. Dean was too young to put Sammy in danger. John was passed out on the couch, he would have been the first to notice. It didn't make sense. Unless-

The hunter felt the warmth of the flames grow behind him. While the heat was soothing, it also came with a twinge of fear. Azazel must be waking up, which was good for the demon, but it meant that John would have to deal with his antics once again. The flames felt closer now, startling John from his thoughts. He turned to see how close they were and quickly withdrew from the heat. The flames that were once behind him had begun to circle him like a predator catching their prey. Thinking quickly, he moved away from the spiral and towards the one controlling them. He knew Azazel hadn't been sleeping, but it wouldn't make sense to start burning John alive now. Not at this point. He didn't dare get close enough to Azazel to touch him, that would only put the hunter in a worse situation. Small flickers of the flames moved closer to John, bending down to dance over his face, dancing over his skin before dipping down to his lips. Swallowing his fear, John crept closer to his enemy to escape the flames. They seemed to follow him as if they were sentient, and he wasn't going to wait any longer to see if they truly were. A swift elbow to Azazel's rips sent the flames retreating as fast as they had advanced. The demon curled up with a groan, one arm moved to cradle his ribs, as he turned towards John.

"What wassat for Johnny?" Azazel rubbed his eyes tiredly, looking up at the hunter with bright yellow eyes that threatened to slip back into the comfort of sleep. John's eyebrows furrowed as his anger boiled within him, exploding in his words as he spoke.

"What the hell do you mean? You just tried to burn me alive!" Flames of anger were flickering in John's eyes as Azazel looked into them with confusion. The hunter was angry at him of all demons! It was truly a sight to behold, Azazel hadn't seen hatred and anger like this since Mary's death. Of course, how could it be matched without him? Without her? The demon's lips curled upwards in a sinister smile as he chuckled, hearing an angry growl come from John.

"My bad, I forgot my flames get a lil' feisty when I sleep. Y'know it's like they have a mind of their own~" He taunted, pushing himself upwards and onto his knees, facing the hunter in front of him. "Now how could I ever repay you for making you upset?" Azazel shot a quick glance at the hunter's neck, his eyes trailing up to his jaw, then lips, and finally to his eyes. The reflection of his flames in the brown pupils exaggerated the anger, but that's what made it so enticing.

John was fuming now, moving closer to the demon to avoid another attack from the flames circling them. Any attempt to speak would just urge the demon on and John was going to avoid giving him what he wanted. He clenched his fists, keeping them at his sides for now. The hunter followed Azazel's eyes as he looked John up and down a second time. He felt those damned eyes linger over every part of his body like fingers, a small tingle on the skin for each second that passed.

"I figured out how you were let in," John broke the silence with gritted teeth. He didn't want to believe it, but there was no other way it could have happened. He watched as Azazel perked up, raising a bit on his knees to be eye-to-eye with John. "There was a deal, you tricked Mary into-"

"I didn't trick her into anything! She made the deal herself, while you were in her arms in fact," Azazel corrected, smiling widely at John. There was no reason to lie, especially now. "You should have seen her John, it was such a pitiful sight. Mary had to seal that deal while her precious boy-toy was dying in her arms~" The demon leaned back as if expecting to be attacked, and he was right to do so. The two had fought before, of course. It was hard to avoid when they

John burst forward with an explosion of anger, fist barely grazing Azazel's cheek as he followed up with a hook to the ribs. That caught the demon off guard, a small gust of air leaving his lungs as more erratic punches kept coming. Large flames and long scratches along John's chest and arm quickly followed in retaliation, making it harder for John to move without being hurt. In his blind rage, the hunter hadn't even noticed that Azazel had changed shape. The fair skin, familiar blonde curls that graced small shoulders, the white nightgown. It brought tears to John's eyes to see his wife again, but he held them back as the piercing yellow eyes of his tormentor came back to haunt him. He wrapped his hand around the other's neck to hold him down, making sure the demon couldn't escape.

"Well I see someone's experienced," A warning squeeze silenced the small laugh that came from Azazel. He had gone too far, but there was more to say to push John further into hell. He felt the hunter above dig his fingers into his ribs almost hesitantly, as if harming the demon wasn't the goal. A smirk found its way across the prince's lips, a small chuckle escaping his throat as he moved to sit up a bit. He didn't make it very far before being pushed back down onto the cool ground of the pit by John's hand, his flames already surrounding the two again. Azazel caught a glimpse of small embers forming from the tips of the flickers, eyes widening in surprise. There's no way he was… with John of all people. He shook his head, desperately trying to rid the thought out of his head. Azazel raised a small hand to wrap around the hunter's wrist, squeezing it softly.

"Maybe I'll take you to see Dean sometime, but first, we'll have to visit Sammy! Wouldn't that be fun?" John's eyes softened at the mention of his boys, but his grip only tightened as Azazel's facade fell, once again showing his current vessel. The demon didn't know when, but at some point during his thinking John had moved to pin the other down, sitting on top of him to keep the demon from trying anything.

"They're not down here."

"They will be soon enough, I still have some big plans for Sammy~" An amused chuckle left the other's lips, filling the air around them as the flames crackled and popped around them.

"Shut up!" John yelled, making the demon laugh louder. A series of punches landed on Azazel's ribs, causing a few small whimpers to come from Azazel. The sounds made John hesitate just long enough to give Azazel an opening to attack. But no resistance came. In a sudden bout of strength, the hunter was pulled close to the demon below by his shirt, lips barely brushing over the others, taunting him.

"Then seal the deal and make me."
