Alarms rang in Amelia's ears.

She was running down the long halls of Hammond Genetic Labs.

Fear ran down her spine when she heard the screeching.

The Raptors had escaped.

They were hunting.

She ran into the elevator quickly pushing the button to take her up to the lobby.

The glass door shut.

She heard a hissing.

Around the corridor, a snout popped out. She knew exactly what it was.

It soon stepped out and she could see the terrifying slender body of a velociraptor. Its long-hooked claw clicked on the metal floor. Soon three more raptors appeared around the corridor.

They had spotted her.

The first raptor sprinted towards the elevator crashing into it, causing the glass to crack. Soon the others began ramming and scratching the glass.

"Why won't this elevator go up!" She cried.

The glass cracked off and began crumbling down.

She could smell the scent of decaying flesh through the glass

She heard the metallic grind and then the elevator powered up and shot up to the sky.

Amelia let go an exhausted sigh of relief.

The group walked out of the radio station.

It was still sunrise and the birds chirped in the distance. They walked in silence.

"Why did we have to bring the kid?" Chiboko asked.

"We can't leave him. Were going to get off this island the second we get that genome, so he must stay with us. End of discussion." Sam replied.

Silence again. Amelia walked towards Sam and whispered in his ear.

"What if the raptors come? What happens then?" She said.

"I run off with the kid, you follow" Sam whispered back.

"You know I can hear you guys," Jimmy said tugging on Sam's shirt.

"I can take care of myself you know..." he said quietly.

"I know Jimmy I'm just, worried is all"

"It's ok Sam," he said looking up to him.

Sam smiled. Jimmy was strong for a boy his age.

The walk was tiresome. The sun had risen. The scorching heat was almost unbearable. Chiboko had suggested that they go into the jungle as a way to stay cooler. Sam denied him. The group kept walking on the trail with Amelia leading them to the vehicle repair bay.

The road was dirt with hints of river stones. Sam could see small three-toed footprints in the dirt. Probably just scavengers he thought to himself.

I took an hour to get to their destination. The repair bay was relatively small. Sam could see monorail train tracks in the interior of the building. They walked inside to see a large open room with shelves of various tools and parts.

Amelia led them down a stairway into a huge open bay with several boats was floating. The boats had an organization's logo on it; ACU.

ACU or Animal Containment Unit was the park security and only line of defense if the animals got out. They were well equipped with various non-lethal weapons.

Next to the pool were several Jeeps with the same logo on them. Amelia led them to a separate room with a huge train track leading straight down the middle. The room was dimly lit.

"Where's the train?"

"Patience, follow me"

Amelia led them down the tunnel where the sleek white train was.

It was huge.

"Now we just need to figure out how to get this train running," Amelia said while walking towards the dim headlights.
