Chapter 16: What Happened?
Luz activated the projector. "Now look," she said. The rebellion looked at the screen as it was going to show what happened.
The scene shifts as we were in the projected images. "Luz," questioned Camilla.
"Why hello mother," answered Luz.
"I'm so happy to see you," said Camilla as she ran up to hug her.
"Holt," said Amity. "Don't touch the titan."
"Titan," questioned Camilla. "My daughter is not a titan."
"Well, I am now," said Luz. "I'm no longer your daughter."
"Luz," said Camilla. "Snap out of this or I'll have to give you the chancla."
"I'm afraid that won't be necessary," said Luz. "Take her to the townhall Amity."
Amity cast a spell that captured Camilla.
"Why do you hurt me," questioned Camilla."
"I would never hurt my mother," answered Luz. "Just a little bait." Amity, Luz and Camilla went to the townhall. "Keep her out here," said Luz to Amity. "I'll take it from here."
"Yes my lord," said Amity. Luz walked into the mayor's office.
"Can I help you," said the mayor."
"Why yes you can," answered Luz. "I want you to give me the town which will trigger the rest of the human realm to submit to me." "I can't let that happen," said the mayor.
"Well then," said Luz. "Guess it's the hard way." Luz activated a spell that turned the tv on. "This room is now being broadcasted on every station in the world. Give me the town or the whole world will see something they don't want to see." Knowing the mayor had no choice he gave Luz the town of Gravesfield. Luz continued with, "Everyone watching, this goes for you too. Surrender your cities to me or be destroyed. I'll give you a week to think it through. Besides I know where you are rebels."
A week later, every leader as given Luz their cities. There could still be rebels but they would be scattered and had no idea in how to stop Luz. "Now I rule the island and humans," said Luz. "Things are going to be a little different. Haha, haha, haha. And I couldn't forget about you mom." Camilla was the figure in the cage. The scene changes back to the room inside the townhall with Luz and the captured rebellion. "So there you have it," said Luz. "Now you know what happened here. I'll ask you a question. Where's the rest of the rebellion?"
"I'll never tell," answered Eda.
"Every well," said Luz. "Get ready to be striped of your magic."
"Wait," said Eda. "Can I say something first?"
"I don't see why not," answered Luz.
"Thank you," said Eda. She cleared her throat. "Now," she screamed. Suddenly, a large bolder-like rock hit the ground. It was King coming to the rescue. This made Luz jump a bit. The rebellion escaped capture but they weren't out of the woods yet. "Run," said Eda. "Head for that backdoor." Camilla was freed too and ran with them.
"My lord," said a scout. "Are we gonna go after them?" "Don't," said Luz. "They'll see that there is a trap behind that door. One that is impossible to escape. Magic won't even help them either. They'll die trying or they will come crawling back to me." The rebellion looked shocked at the trap.
"How we getting out of this," questioned Willow.
"It's a maze," answered Eda. "We have to escape. But who knows how difficult it is."
Will the rebellion escape the impossible maze? Will Luz win? What will Camilla say knowing Luz isn't Luz and how would she react? Find out in the next chapter.
