Chapter 12: Whirlpool

*** Zesty Lime in this chapter, warning***

Plenty of smaller nations had fallen over the years, once the rise of the great five came to fruition, and the Uzumaki clan of Uzushiogakure were no fools. They had declined to merge with the Senju and Uchiha when Madara made peace with his enemies and proposed joining forces and creating their own shinobi village like other countries had begun.

The younger generation were stubborn and believed that they could build up their forces and hold their own against other clans in the area.

The newly recognized hidden mist village declared them an enemy when they refused to share their resources and ally with them. Their elders had known that Uzushio would be bled dry until they were reliant on another village to come to their aid. He believed in self-preservation and neutral state.

Wanting to preserve what would be left of the clan, those who could not choose for themselves, he persuaded the children, and women to flee the village before the war was declared and flee to their only remaining ally, the Senju clan in Konohagakure.

Mito was a teenager when her family decided to take refugee status in a new village in the Land of Fire.

Konohagakure had been newly formed only about 5 years before their arrival, and Mito couldn't help but feel as though this new place wasn't for her.

She missed the sea and all of the water sources surrounding their tiny islands…

Like the adults had been warned, war was declared shortly after they left, and rumor was that Uzushiogakure had been destroyed and all those had stayed perished.

Mito couldn't really comprehend her home being destroyed and that she could never return, but she understood it was a bad thing.

One quiet evening after the news came, she left home by herself to take a much needed walk. If she could get used to this place, then it would make things easier for her in the long run.

The forests surrounding the village were suffocating with how many trees surrounded her, but Mito forced her way through a thicket, determined to adapt.

Accidentally tripping on a root she couldn't see, she emerged on the other side face first into the dirt before hearing some shuffling.

She looked up to find a man who clearly had been mourning someone, as he was kneeling in front of a makeshift tomb.

"I'm sorry, I lost my way," she murmured before stumbling back.

"Red hair… you must be an Uzumaki," the man stated bluntly.

"What is that supposed to mean?" she asked, now slightly offended.

The man didn't answer but rose slowly before grasping her hair in his fingers, contemplating something.

Mito tried pulling away and couldn't get him to release his grasp on her tresses.

"Let go…. " she pleaded helplessly.

Madara let go and left instead.

Mito schooled her features before dashing back to her new home where her parents awaited her.

Yotsuna had killed the man who had tormented her and was slightly pleased with the results, but in a way she wasn't done yet. Izuna Uchiha had an older brother, Madara, the first Hokage of the hidden leaf village.

Izuna's soul had been taken by her with her kitsune powers, and for a time she was determined to torture him whenever and with whatever she could think of that would make him even more miserable in the afterlife.

She had noticed his older brother, and that man was important. He was the leader of the village that was still building up, inviting more and more people to live there.

To torment Izuna more, she changed her appearance to that of her once human form, a pinkette with jade color eyes and a slim but healthy figure. She appeared older than when she died to fill out her assets more and appear more womanly.

Izuna recognized who she was, and at first he was angry that she had gotten revenge on him, but he quickly learned what she was capable of, and that's when his torment began.

Yotsuna purposely went after Madara in his emotionally weakened state. She forced herself into his life in secret, and no one ever caught her because she had learned to only come around at night.

The closer she got to him, the more Izuna raged and insisted she leave his brother out of it, as he had never known what Izuna had done. He had never known about her, the rape, or how he had slaughtered her…

There were no innocent parties in what had happened, and Yotsuna had eventually got to her goal of seducing Izuna's brother, which she would force him to watch….

Madara spent many evenings by himself with a bottle of liquor, and Yotsuna had observed him for several nights to make sure of his pattern. Would he appear at the same location and time, and would he be watched?

Typically, higher level shinobi would accompany him during the day, always in the shadows. Even when he dismissed all of his guards, they kept their distance, but he was truly never alone… which only excited her, thinking of the prospects of being watched as she became a lust filled monster…

A week had passed before she made her move and on that night, when she was sure he was really inebriated, she sauntered over to him and danced flirty, wanting his attention.

Yotsuna wrapped her arms around Madara and glanced down at him to see his reaction.

He was looking at her with glossy eyes and analyzing her.

She was hoping for more but still wanted to take advantage of him to anger Izuna who was forced to watch them.

Glancing over his shoulder, she smirked at his deceased brother.

She shifted herself around facing him now and sat into his lap before unfolding the folds of the front of her kimono, her hefty bosom bouncing out, gleaming against the bright moonlight.

Madara's eyes widened, slowly realizing what she was up to.

Not wanting him to reject her, Yotsuna held onto him tightly and distracted him with a technique no man could resist.

Hashirama was becoming concerned for his childhood friend. Some other clan leaders had begun coming to him with their concerns that there was something wrong with the Hokage, and that as his closest advisor it was up to him to figure out what it was or help them address their concerns that were being ignored or missed.

Hashirama stopped by Madara's mother's house to ask for her advice since, all he could think of was that maybe Madara was beginning to struggle after his younger brother's death a few years ago.

His mother wasn't home, strangely, and when he began to ask around, it turned out no one had seen her in a while. She had stopped coming home several months ago, and some thought maybe she had been reinstated as a shinobi, since she wanted any distraction from knowing one of her sons was dead.

Hashirama didn't recall any older members of the Uchiha clan being reinstated recently, and that worried him… but first he was going to see his friend, the root of his interrogation.

Arriving at the Hokage tower, he checked in and found out that the Hokage's hours were only in the daytime, he wasn't available.

Deciding staying around there was useless, Hashirama left and racked his brains for where Madara would be. He thought of a neat area behind the cliffs above the village where they had started to build a stone Hokage monument.

There, he found his friend and leader of the village with a strange woman he'd never seen before.

He heard the moans, groans, and the smacking of skin on skin before he walked out from behind a pillar only to witness his friend, sitting with a pinkette lady facing him while bouncing visually on his manhood, moaning loudly with every thrust.

"Who is this?" he questioned Madara.

Frightening jade eyes found his before she got off Madara and pulled her kimono back into place before fleeing into the darkness surrounding them.

Hashirama held his ground, as Madara readjusted himself and pulled his hakama back into place.

"None of your business. How did you find me?" he asked instead.

"The Hokage is expected to be available at all times. You may have certain office hours, but when the citizens of the village start coming to me for solutions, there must be a problem. I understand your little brother died and you are struggling with that, but if it's become such a big problem interfering in your duties, you should have come to me. If you need a break, I can certainly look after the villiage, but disappearing at nighttime and being childlessly reckless is just dumb…Clean up, and I'll meet you back at your estate to clear some other messes,'' Hashirama spat at him before departing.

Yotsuna hadn't actually left, but simply hid from both of them as she heard of the village's problem.

Izuna wasn't happy... Things were falling apart at the seams, and if only he could stop it… which aggravated him more, which made her more happy.

Yotsuna had stalled long enough; time to end the clan of people who had ended her life and thus make her revenge complete.

Mito was called to her father's study, only to be informed that she had been placed in an arranged marriage with the leader of the Uchiha clan and Konoha's Hokage, Madara.

At first, she felt neutral about the news until she realized that she had already met him in the woods when he had grabbed her hair and insulted her pride as an Uzumaki.

"I'm sorry, but I cannot marry that man," Mito protested haughtily.

"And for what reason?" her father growled, displeased with this turn of events.

"As much as I respect Hokage-sama… he almost assaulted me in the woods the other night…" she admitted.

Her parents looked at each other before her mother shook her head.

Somehow she escaped such a dismal fate, but instead she was engaged to the head of the Senju clan, Hashirama.

Pleased with this turn of events, Mito agreed, but for the life of her, couldn't understand the way her new betrothed defended the Hokage, not just as leader of the village but as one of his oldest friends…

Hashirama was displeased when Mito revealed the reason she'd declined to marry Madara, but he was also pleased with the opportunity of getting to know such a brilliant woman.

She was right though, they needed to get Madara to heal from his grieven state if he wanted to remain Hokage…

A/N: Now there isn't technically the curse of hatred in this fic, but I'd like to think that Madara did hold a close bond with his sibling that his death would cause him to become mentally unstable, like in the canon universe. Also as a reminder, we are currently in the past timeline, the beginning of the hidden villages and founders' era. Sakura's 1st incarnation, (the poor girl in the very beginning) is already dead and this woman is technically the kitsune but taking on Sakura's appearance, which id like to sneak in some MadaSaku because I thought it would be hot. I'm a multiSaku shipper but Itachi is still my fav boi
