Night was windy in the Southern Tribe; this weather wasn't expected so early this year. The snowfall made it difficult to see even a few feet ahead. But still, under the storm and abrupt climate, ten people were standing near the port. Perhaps this weather was best for what was to come. Five where soldiers, judging by the uniform, out of which four were patiently waiting near the boat. One walked towards the remaining five and spoke.
- It's time to leave. Doubt the weather will get any better. – the leader announced to the small family, rushing them.
- It's our last time together. Give us a minute. – Tonraq, leader of the water tribe, harshly spoke to the soldier. He gave orders, not receive them. The soldier just stood back and waited for the family to finish this up.
- Why does he have to go? We´re a family, we belong together – the little girl, Korra, and future Avatar said with tears in her eyes. she was holding on to her mother´s hand.
- We know honey, but we´ll see him again. It´s just for a while, okay? – Senna tried comforting her child. But deep inside was drowning herself in sorrow. Korra hugged her polar bear dog closer to her chest.
- Take good care of him, please. – Tonraq spoke to the other women with them, Mara was her name. He knew the risks his kids were, and still he couldn´t understand why this was best. But he´d agreed to it and that was that.
- Always… – she nodded. As a nanny, she´s been looking after the twins since birth. She promised herself she´d always be there for them, now it was time to keep that promise.
- Okay kids, time to say goodbye. – the man said to his family. They came closer, together if that was even possible, and hugged their goodbyes. – We love you son, don't forget that. You´ll be safe with Mara. Listen to her, okay? – the boy just nodded, tears not letting him speak.
- Here, you take Naga. – Korra said to her brother, handing him the stuff animal.
- You sure? It´s your favorite – the little boy, who looked just like her sister asked. He too had big blue eyes and dark brown hair. Instead of answering his sibling, she threw herself hugging his brother for what she felt was the last time.
- I love you Korra. – the boy, who was just a little taller than his sibling, said.
- Love you too Kal. - the little girl said while still holding his brother.
- Come on, boy let´s go. – Mara said taking his hand and walking off to the ship.
And so, the nurse and the kid entered the ship, followed by the guards, and sailed to the North Pole, never to be seen again. Or so, that was what was supposed to happen. Just as the ships was about to disappear into the sea, Korra couldn´t think of anything else other than "Goodbye, brother".
