It doesn't yet feel like an obligation and stuff.

"C-Can you-" Weiss wheezed, "slow down! Please". The small girl of team RWBY had been carrying most of the team's bags as they trudged through the forest. Yang had been carrying both Blake and Ruby. "Slow down for what?" She groaned glancing back at her girlfriend.

Weiss gave her an obvious look. "I'm carrying everything here" she huffed. "And I'm carrying basically everyone!" Yang retorted ready to just drop her teammate and sister.

"Why did ruby have to be so curious?" She groaned, tossing all the bags down. "And Blake! Why did you have to be curious too?" The two she spoke of had been temporarily paralyzed, being basic bags of meat.

Yang sighed and put the two of them up right against a tree and sat by Weiss. "Dummies" she said, sticking her tongue out at the two conscious yet unresponsive people.

2 ½ hours earlier

"Whew, that deathstalker and Geist really put up a fight" ruby said stretching out her arms. "Well ladies, let's go on back home" she smiled brightly. The rest of her teammates slumped by one another, burnt out from their recent fight..

"Gah! who gave you so much energy?!" Weiss pointed and sat down. "Yeah rubes just sit for a while" ruby sighed and sat down. Blake seemed to be rejuvenating at a faster pace than Yang and Weiss. Laying on her back she took in a deep breath of all the fresh forest air.

They'd been sent on an overnight mission to the woods. They had chosen to only be dropped off, since their scrolls wouldn't be working, they thought it'd be best to walk back. "Yeah yeah, whatever you say" Ruby pouted.

Hearing a light thumping sound, Ruby had sprung up to scan the area. Blake had also sat up looking around, her ears twitching. Yang had noticed this as it seemed to sound louder. Ruby and Blake shared a look as Blake stood up. "You two stay here" Ruby said, Yang rolled her eyes.

"Hey, it's probably nothing" she shrugged, "if it was anything it would have attacked us awhile ago" she said looking in the direction of the sound. "Yeah, but I wanna see what it is" ruby said and walked with Blake to the source of the sound.

Yang sighed and threw herself to Weiss, resting her head on her girlfriends lap. "Sooo, what do you think it is?" She asked not actually caring but wanting to talk to Weiss.

She only shrugged and flopped back unto her back. "Stupid, it's probably just a branch tapping something" she sighed. Yang quirked an eyebrow, but before she could speak they heard ruby shout "Blake watch out!".

Three thumps followed, Weiss and Yang jumped up and ran to their other half. They saw Ruby and Blake laying on the ground. Looking up they saw a Deathstalker, a lot smaller than what they're used to, caught in a tree.

It's tail swung around hitting the surrounding trees. "Ruby!" Yang flew into action immediately killing the Grimm.

Weiss had run to the others and checked they're pulses. "They're still alive and breathing" she paused and looked at Yang, "they were stung, they'll be paralyzed for a few hours, or days-" Yang sighed. Kneeling down she pulled Ruby up who wheezed a little to show her awareness. "Dammit rubes".

Present time

Yang and Weiss had been sitting for nearly thirty minutes. "I guess we should go now" Yang said, nudging weiss. "Yes, I suppose" she stood up and glanced at the bags, "they're probably the same weight as Ruby" she laughed and picked them up.

"Well hard to compare when you're carrying the actual thing" Yang laughed and swung Blake and ruby over her shoulder. Ruby groaned slightly while yang laughed more.

Back at Beacon

Another hour passed, Blake and Ruby are recovering from the paralysis in the med bay. Yang and Weiss had left them there and began walking back to the dorm.

"How long do you think we'll be alone?" Yang asked suggestively. Weiss rolled her eyes, "I don't know, but I want to shower and sleep" she said tiredly.

Yang sighed, "are your feet hurting?" She looked to the girls heels. "A little" Weiss huffed, Yang knew that meant they were definitely hurting. Without another word she scooped her little girlfriend up and ran to the dorm.

When they got to the dorm Yang practically threw the girl on her bed, grabbed her clothes and ran to the bathroom. "Yang Xiao Long! Don't you dare lock the door!" Weiss shouted trying to gather her clothes. Giggling she then joined Yang in the shower.

Med Bay

Blake and Ruby lay in parallel bedrolls with Ruby on the left and Blake on the right. Sometime had passed after they'd been left there. The nurses had attached a drip to both girls and had there pulses monitored.

They'd both been conscious since the incident, or so Ruby thought. She'd been awake the entire time trying to get words out to her sister and Weiss. Mostly because of the teasing.

The entirety of not being able to move and talk was eating her alive. All she could do was look to the ceiling. Her eyelids seemed to be the only moveable body part at the moment. She'd been focusing on opening her eyes the whole time, and finally was able to blink, slowly, but it was all she needed.

5min later

The silence was killing Ruby, she didn't know how much more she could endure before going insane. She had so many things to say and so many gestures to do while saying such words.

Bloop

The sound of the automatic door in the hall indicated somone was coming. She watch the door waiting for them to approach.

It was Pyrrha, once Ruby saw her through the window her heart began racing out of excitement. Pyrrha opened the door and heard the intense beeping of Ruby's monitor. She quickly rush over ready to press the call nurse button.

Frantically she looked about the room, then heard Ruby groan. Looking to her small girlfriend she saw her eyes were open and she was aware of her surroundings.

"Oh Ruby! A-Are you okay?" She said looking at the monitor which began to slow. Then looking back at Ruby.

The girl groaned again, 'Pyrrhaaa, I missed you so much' she thought, slightly angry should couldn't verbally nor physically express her emotions. "I missed you too Ruby" Pyrrha said without missing a beat.

Ruby's eyes widened as much as they could and she gave Pyrrha a look that said 'You can understand me?!'. Pyrrha smiled awkwardly and shyly brushed her hair. "Uh, I suppose I can" she then put her hands over Ruby's. "I'm just glad you're okay.." she trailed off, "when I heard about what happened I rushed right over".

Glancing to Blake, she questioned if she could hear them or not. Then looking back at Ruby, "I had told Yang to tell Velvet about Blake, but she said Velvet and her team were still on their own mission" Ruby sighed. "I know.." Pyrrha then smiled.

"I take it your mission was mainly successful?" Ruby rolled her eyes, Pyrrha giggled and leaned in to kiss her paralyzed girlfriend. "Oh it's time for team training, I have to go now" Pyrrha stood and gave Ruby one more look before leaving.

"Finally.. now I can sleep" Blake spoke up, rolling over. Ruby groaned loudly at Blake's actions, thinking she was just as paralyzed as her. "No Ruby, shhh" Ruby's eyes showed betrayal.

I apologize for the delay, I caught Rona. It's okay now, I'm fine and well. I started the chapter in March but you know. It was originally going to be uploaded in the beginning of April but I didn't have the strength to finish it up. Still nothing new right!
