Arizona got the feeling she wasn't widely welcomed here. She spent most of her time in whatever hall was empty, and reading her books, or listening to the broadcasts from Fae, who was one of the members of the fireteam that was fighting the Lucent Hive. She almost felt jealous of Fae and even Argonaut, who spent his time with the Psion.

"His name is…kind of hard to describe because he mostly sends stuff in pictures and feelings." Fae had told her through the Ghost comms as she watched the earth come back into view from a large window. "He's kind of funny, though."

Arizona sighed, folding her arms.

"What is it, Ari?"

"It's nothing, Fae, and I don't like that nickname. How's Argonaut with babysitting?"

Argonaut's voice whispered, "Please get me out of here!"

Arizona laughed. "Can't sit still, can you? Shouldn't be for too much longer." She paced in front of the window. In truth she was getting restless too. She had finished all the books Ikora had given her, and started the process of reading them once again.

"What about you? How's Caiatl's ship?" Fae asked.

Arizona bit her lip. "Well…"

Ghost answered, "Should we tell them of how you were thrown out of your own room?"

"Why?" Fae giggled.

"She-"

"We don't know what we walked in on, Ghost! You know as much of Cabal biology as I know what goes on in Argonaut's head."

"Hey, what's that supposed to mean?" Argonaut yelled. "Is that an insult? I feel like that was an insult."

Fae laughed hysterically.

Arizona giggled, putting her hand over her mouth. Caiatl walked in the room. Arizona whispered, "Gotta go." The beep from Ghost told her the comms were disconnected, and Arizona resumed watching the earth.

"Speaking to your friends?" Caiatl came to stand by her, watching out the window as well.

"Yeah, they were just updating me on what's been going on at the Tower. Commander Zavala has been making sure they keep busy." She put her hands behind her back. A position she found oddly comfortable, and one she started to do out of habit. She hardly thought about it at all. They flew behind the earth, and there was nothing but darkness on this side of earth. She half expected lights to be glowing everywhere.

"From what I've heard, you've had quite the adventures up here as well."

"Look, I don't know what I walked in on." She looked at Caiatl, who stared down at her with some curiosity and amusement. Arizona could feel her face getting hotter, and she covered her mouth with her hand, and quickly looked away. "Something tells me that isn't what you were talking about."

"I meant with my Psions."

"To be fair, they started that fight. They keep going through my head and pulling up…something I'd much rather forget, honestly."

"A memory?"

Arizona nodded, "Of sorts, not mine…well, not exactly mine, I guess. It's…" She sighed and rubbed the back of her neck. "Being Risen gets kind of complicated when people know who you were before. It was a girl…Maria, she used to live in the Tower as a lightless Guardian. And I'm her…but I'm also not."

Caiatl's face was a mask of stone, but she said, "That does sound…confusing."

Arizona laughed. "Yeah, yeah, it kind of is." She sighed. "Anyways, I'm not her. I don't want people to think I'm her…but I wear her face and I…have her voice so I guess I don't blame them either."

"Was she well loved by the Guardians?"

She shrugged, "I guess, mostly by Ghost and Ikora, I think. By some other Guardians too, though."

The door opened behind them. A legionary walked through, and greeted Empress Caiatl with their form of respect. "We've just gotten word from Commander Zavala…about the Psion."

Ghost chirped. "It's…it's Fae."

"Now's a really bad time, Fae," Arizona whispered, stepping away from Caiatl.

"I don't know a better one, Arizona…Crow really fucked up this one."

She folded her arms. "What do you mean? What happened-?"

Argonaut interrupted, "The Psion is dead."

Arizona wanted to be buried 20 feet under the ground, although she might get her wish soon. She turned her head toward Caiatl, a look of anger had washed over her entire being. She was stiff, and hurt, and she wanted blood. Arizona looked at Ghost, and whispered, "If this plays out the way I think it's going to…I want you to be as close to a friendly Guardian as possible…and under no circumstances are you to revive me aboard this ship, are we clear?"

Ghost hovered a foot lower than normal, but he nodded.
