Been thinking of starting a new story. Not RWBY related, but def a fanfic.
Also my bad for uploading the wrong chapter, but lol false hope.
A few weeks passed and Blake was once more waiting on the landing pad for Velvet. Who'd gone off on another mission with her team to the outskirts of Vale's territory. She had been studying nonstop and working out non-stop, surprisingly she'd gone up a few pounds, happy to admit to Yang that it was all Muscle.
She smiled smugly to herself , wondering if Velvet would notice her more toned physique. Her ears twitched to the sound of the approaching airship, she bought out her scroll and took a photo of the distant airship.
Although she was excited she had to keep it mostly contained, she was the only person on the platform, but there were still the people in the towers. She felt a little self conscious but pushed it aside once the ship began to land. The door opened and out came Velvet, who was holding a duffle bag, which was roughly three quarters of Velvet's height.
She happily made her way to Blake, dropping the bag to embrace her. They hadn't seen the other in over four weeks with very little communication. Only having minutes to talk every few days. Due to larger waves of grim making their way towards Vale, with only the help of one other team.
Velvet definitely noticed Blake's toned arms as she was held in them. They shared a long, warm and silent hug. Just basking in each other's grasps, but after a minute they pulled apart. Only to come back together for a sweet languid kiss. Which would've gotten quite heated if Velvet wasn't so tired.
She almost went limp in Blakes strong arms, "Sorry! I guess the air travel took a larger toll than I thought", Velvet clumsily apologized as she regained her balance.
Blake was quick to pick up Velvet's bag, "That's okay! I understand sleep is urgent and imminent" She joked kissing Velvet's cheek and taking hold of her hand. "Let's get you to bed" she winked, causing Velvet to blush, she wordlessly let Blake pull her along to the dorms.
…
Weiss and Yang had been on their way to the library when they ran into Aero, who was sitting suspiciously on a tree. Although it seemed she was actually playing a game on her phone. Weiss hadn't actually noticed the smaller girl, even with her tail swinging wildly from the tree.
"Hey Aero!" Yang stopped and waved up at the girl. She stopped her game and stared at the two blondes. Weiss raised an eyebrow but was quick with a greeting once she saw who Yang was talking to in the tree. "Hello as well, Aero" she smiled and waved with her free hand.
Aero continued to stare for another few seconds, before she jumped down from the tree and approached them. She got a little too close for comfort, yet kept a distance. This made Weiss slightly uncomfortable and somewhat confused, as Aero had not said a word yet.
She seemed to be studying them, "Hello, Yang.. Weiss" she looked deep into their eyes. Yang could do nothing but let those intimidating Hazel eyes search away. Weiss was the same, standing still and letting the gaze of the smaller girl bore into her soul.
…
Across the sidewalk by the second year dorm, the trio of blondes caught the eyes of Blake and Velvet. The sight of the three girls just staring at each other was rather odd.
"What do you suppose they're doing?" Velvet whispered, Blake quickly turned into the dorm. "I don't want to know" She smiled sweetly at Velvet, "Let's just hope it's all done by dinner" Velvet giggled slightly and walked happily with Blake.
…
"So are you two going to the library?" Aero spoke up, shaking the girls out of the stare down trance.
"Yes, we are! You're welcome to join us" Weiss smiled warmly, Yang nodded cheerfully, "You can come with us to dinner too".
This was unexpected by Aero, she assumed they'd try to leave after being stared down. "Okay" she turned around, slightly hitting the two with her tail. They didn't mind at all, sharing a look as they followed Aero along the path to the library.
.
It was as if they completely understood Aero now, Weiss who was hesitant at first was now happily listening to Aero's insight as a second year. Yang was listening as well but was working on an essay at the same time.
They'd been at the library for about an hour and a half, then Weiss' dinner alarm rang. "Ah- dinner time" Yang stretched in her seat, closing her book with her paper inside.
"Are you joining us for dinner?" Weiss asked as she gathered her books in alphabetical order. "I'm afraid not" Aero spoke softly, Weiss frowned and turned to her, but before she could ask why she was stopped.
Suddenly she felt a presence behind her, "Hey Aero, you ready?" Weiss spun around coly to see Imato. She was dressed in booty shorts and a tight fitting tank top hidden recklessly under a hot pink towel.
"Sup Ice Cream" she nodded and looked at Yang "Hey there.. Firecracker" She smirked. Aero's face held a blush but she seemed put off at the same time. Without letting Imato speak anymore, Aero quickly stopped a conversation from starting by pulling Imato into the stacks.
As the two disappeared Imato turned around to wave happily at the two blondes. 'Well.." Weiss looked menacingly at Yang warning her, "- that was a thing" she chuckled as Weiss groaned picking up her books. Making her way to the door, she smiled in secret.
