Around noon, Scarabella and I stopped bad guys at the store. Alya has been doing well with taking Ladybug's place temporarily for the past few months. Our work is done but we heard someone in the store and I know who it is. My father trying to get my attention. I pulled a gun and loaded a magazine in it as it clicked.

"Cat Noir, no! That's totally insane!" Scarabella thought I'm gonna shoot someone.

"I'm not gonna shoot. Not unless I have to for self-defense. Anubis, show your ugly face right now!" I shouted, where ever he is as I aimed my gun anywhere.

He showed and I held my gun at him, "Don't even try anything or I will shoot! I don't obey you anymore!" I said coldly.

"You wouldn't dare shoot me here, Cat Noir. I'm surprised you would use firearms" Anubis said.

I shot him in the toe to stun him, kicking him against the wall as I put my gun near his forehead, "I spent my whole life obeying you! All you care about what's best for yourself! You never remember my birthday, my well-being, my feelings! You were never there for me! You only sent Nathalie!" I was this close to shooting him but I don't have the guts to pull the trigger.

"Cat Noir don't do this!" Scarabella begged.

"Why? He's not even more human! He's a corrupted madman! Do you have any idea how many suffer from being akumatized and forced to live with that trauma?!" I still held my gun near his forehead.

"Killing him won't make you any better than him," Scarabella said.

"She's right, and there will be consequences for you if you kill me," Anubis said.

"Consequences?!" I glared at him, "Since when do you know about consequences?! Stop playing a victim!"

"If you kill me, your actions will haunt you. You can't do it" Anubis said. In my frustration, I just fired near his head.

I nearly almost hit him but I listened to what Scarabella said to me, "You don't know me, father. I may not like that liar but beating her was way too far!"

"Pity, she was helpful but naive," Anubis said.

"And another thing, stay away from my family, for next time you're not so fortunate" I warned him.

I whacked the gun at his head to knock him out, "Let's go. We are not ready to face that monster. Let him escape for now" I said to Scarabella as we left the place.

"Sounds good to me because I can't stand seeing the brains on the floor," Scarabella said.

I put my gun back in my catsuit pocket, "There's a reason why I wanted to kill him"

"He neglected you, akumatized people, used you, and tried to kill you twice" Scarabella counted up.

"That's four reasons, Scarabella." I pole-vaulted to the roof with her, "Yes but that's not my real reason. The reason why is because if he lives, he'll go after miraculous. Remember in New York?"

"Yeah but we'll prevent it from repeating itself here," Scarabella said.

"Scarabella, the asylum didn't work. I let him live because I thought it was the right thing. Death, the truth does with it. Alive, you're free. But this time, everyone knows he's a terrorist all along. Death, he'll be punished in Hell. If he remains alive, he'll cause madness" I explained it to her.

"It sounds crazy but if he's supposed to die let it be in self-defense than in cold blood," Scarabella said.

"Very well" I nodded reluctantly.

Later, we came to an Akuma Nightclub. It's still daylight so there's no partying here. Just pole dancers and bad guys just chilling out.

"One glass of milk for me" I ordered.

"Just some water for me," Scarabella said.

"Coming up" The bartender made their drinks.

"I always thought you had a great life but I didn't know your father made you do all those things against your will," Scarabella said.

"I'm just ashamed I didn't tell Ladybug before I went rogue two years ago," I said.

"We've forgiven you already for your actions, you had to survive," Scarabella said.

"And the cost of my reputation too," I said.

"Yeah, that too," Scarabella said.

"And also, all the things I said to you all when fighting both you and Ladybug" I added, feeling guilty.

"You were just angry that we were insensitive," Scarabella said.

"Ladybug was right, I was just a fool to not tell her my own father was the villain we were looking for," I said.

"I take it you were too scared to tell her," Scarabella said.

"Yes, that memory still stings in me," I said.

"What was it like being a criminal? Was it more than being free?" Scarabella asked.

I finished my glass of milk and walked up to the dancing pole on stage to explain to her, "It was a bit tough but I could never let go of my heroic side like stopping people with guns" I said.

"And stealing?" Scarabella said.

I wrapped my left leg around the pole and spun around, "Well to afford getting food and drink and some furniture as Aiden" I said.

"And the new fashion style?" She asked about why I became a goth.

"Simple, I wanted to ditch the old me," I said and spun around to get higher and hung upside down.

"And the tattoo?" Scarabella asked more.

"Just felt like getting one, though I had to intimidate the tattoo artist to get one," I said.

"You really are a bad boy" Scarabella chuckled.

"Yeah, I am" I chuckled and slowly spun around.

"Hey, kitty cat! Go do that somewhere else" A thug sat down next to Scarabella about to harass her and put his feet on the table.

Seriously? These thugs are gonna have to pay health insurance for that, "How about here?" I taunted and stomped on his legs with a loud bone crunch.

"AAAAGH!" He screamed.

I laughed like a villain and sat sideways on his lap, "Looks like you run out of health insurance. Good luck being on a wheelchair"

"God almighty" Scarabella winced.

"I do that all the time when a cat feels threatened at the nightclub" I got off the thug's lap.

"AGH! You damn cat!" The thug screamed and could not move his bent legs.

"Oh, boohoo! Already damned" I laughed and went back up on the pole, "See, Scarabella? That's how I do as a criminal. I show no fear or hesitation"

"Ok, pole dancing cat," Scarabella said, blushing at me pole dancing.

"Cat got your tongue?" I chuckled at her reaction.

"Never seen you pole dancing before," Scarabella said.

I hear the thug whining like a baby again from his bent legs. I jumped down and gave him a Vulcan neck pinch to knock him unconscious, "It's because I have practice of being an anti-villain on the streets. I was free"

"Alright then. I can imagine Carapace doing that" Scarabella joked.

"Hilarious. But still, I don't wanna relapse again. My father was the cause of this from the beginning I found out who he really was. I was living a lie" I sat next to her.

"I don't blame you. But we'll stop him sooner or later" Scarabella said.

"Yes, even if it means his demise," I said.

(Marinette's POV)

I hope Adrien is soon back here with Alya, with Gabriel as the new Wolf-holder he's even a match for them. Felix is looking after me so that I'm not defenseless. He really does look a lot like Adrien. Well, except he has more of a combed hairstyle. Since he became Bat Noir last year, he changed a lot. Adrien's cats meowed and purred around me, being very protective of my baby bump.

"Don't worry, your boyfriend will be back. I've seen how very protective he is for you" Felix said.

"Thanks, Felix. I just hope that Gabriel does not try to get into the mansion" I said.

"He won't. Trust me, he's afraid of me. In fact, I think he's afraid of bats like me" Felix smirked.

"Heh, Ladybug really deemed you worthy" I chuckled.

"Yup, I promised him I won't eat his favorite bug" Felix chuckled.

"Yeah. And I wonder if my baby might become a heroine like her father" I rubbed my belly.

Just then Adrien and Alya arrived, still as Cat Noir and Scarabella.

"Hey, Milady" Cat Noir walks up to me.

"Milady?" Felix raised a brow.

"I used it for Ladybug before but now for Marinette" Cat Noir explained.

"Anyways, no sign of that big bad wolf but I hope the former wolf is okay at the hospital," Felix said.

"She's recovering well but won't come here again," Cat Noir said.

"Don't be so harsh on her, kitty cat. We know she's a liar but getting beaten is not okay" Scarabella said.

"She shouldn't have trusted my father into releasing him but I gotta admit she was a great opponent," Cat Noir said.

"Let's not forget you said she helped you fight thugs on the road," I said.

"Yes, but I realized she was trying to make me gain her trust. It did not work" Cat Noir said.
