Happy New Year!
22nd December. Three days until Christmas.
"No's, no's, no's!" Lily-Rose shouted as she looked to her uncle, blocking him from coming inside as he and her aunt Kate arrived. "Yous not allowed in my house. Yous on Taylors list!" She told him pointing to him. "And if yous on the list, yous not alloweds in."
Elliot looked to his niece. He didn't know if he should take her seriously or burst into laughter. Mainly because she was dressed up in her unicorn onesie, her trusted unicorn teddy that Christian bought her tucked under arm. Looking to his brother, Elliot laughed. "Is she serious?"
"Deadly." Ana replied as she came into view and smirked at Elliot. This exchange was going to be interesting to say the least. She'd step in when or if need be, but at the same time she wanted her baby girl to be independent and stand on her own two feet, which she was very good at already.
Kate laughed as she looked to her husband. "Oh dear. What have you done to our niece?" She asked him.
Elliot scoffed as he looked to his wife. "I haven't done anything."
"Yeah right." Came Luke's voice from behind them, popcorn tucked under his arm. "You've done something wrong if she's banned you from the house." He chuckled and shook his head as he walked through, ruffling his niece's hair as he passed her before putting her unicorn hood up on her onesie, Kate following behind him to the kitchen.
Elliot sighed as he looked to his niece. "Kiddo…"
"I's Lily-Rose. Nots kiddo." She told him firmly.
Christian had to bite back a laugh. Oh, his baby girl was feisty! And Lily-Rose is currently one pissed off three-year-old.
"I'm sorry. Lily-Rose…what have I done wrong?" Elliot asked her softly.
"You's a liar! And you's teached me silly songs that I can'ts sings in daycares."
Elliot looked to her completely confused. "What did I lie about? And what song?"
"You tolds me Santy can do anythings."
"He can." Elliot defended glancing to his brother. He could do anything!
"He can't cooks my brother's more quickly so he's cants be here for Christmas!" She told him stomping her little foot at him. "And Jingle Bells, batman smells." She finished glaring at him. "I knews you talks too much." She shook her head and folded her arms across her little chest. "We's not friends anymores. Yous on Taylors list." She told him firmly with a nod of the head before looking to Taylor as he came into the room. "Taylors. Removes him." She told him pointing to Elliot.
Taylor opened his mouth then closed it again before he looked to his boss unsure of what he should actually do. He only came to drop some things off in the kitchen. Gail's orders!
Christian looked to Ana who shook her head before he shook his head slightly at Taylor, indicating for him to carry on whatever he was doing.
"Baby." Came Ana's voice knowing she needed to step in now before Elliot ended up completely disowned by her anger unicorn. Moving over to her daughter and knelt down in front of her. Damn if looks could kill Elliot would be dead. "Baby." Ana called once more to try and get her daughter's attention.
Lily-Rose tore her eyes from her uncle and looked to her mother, her features instantly softening. "Yes mommy?"
"Remember what we talked about? Uncle Elliot isn't a liar…"
"But…"
"No." Ana cut in looking to her. "He's right. Santa can make most things happen. Just not babies. You could ask for anything else and he could make it happen. But not babies. Remember babies need to grow properly in mommy's tummy. No short cuts. Not even from Santa."
Lily-Rose's jaw tensed as she glared at her uncle once more before looking to her mother. "But the silly songs he teached me. If I sings that in daycares I coulds be on a timesout!"
"Okay yes, he shouldn't have done that, that was uncle Elliot being a silly clown like daddy said he was…but baby you can't ban him from the house…"
"Whys not? Daddy bans peoples all the time from the house and from his workies."
Ana's head craned towards Christian.
Christian looked to Ana before he knelt down beside her as well. "Yes, daddy does do that. But that's because daddy is a boss and I have to look after lots of people…"
"I's boss." She told him. "Wos said so!"
"I know baby. And one day you are going to be an amazing boss just like you will be an amazing big sister…but how about we give Uncle Elliot a break and let him come in? He wants to join in on our movie night. Plus, Uncle Lelliot is family. We are stuck with him."
Looking to both of her parents, she then looked to her uncle before she sighed. "Fines. You cans come in." She looked him up and down. "Buts you must be on yours best behaviours or you wills be throwns out."
Elliot held up his hands. "I promise I'll be extra good." He smiled to her before sighing. "And Lily-Rose? I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to upset you. I know you're super excited to be a big sister, and hey, next Christmas your baby brother will be here and we can start planning about all the different things we want to plan for him to make his first Christmas extra special!"
"Hows?" She asked curiously tilted her head to him.
"Well, we got all year to plan the best Christmas ever." He told her with a smile before he then held out his arms to her. "Are we friends now?" He asked hopefully.
Lily-Rose looked to him before she sighed a little and nodded as she moved into his embrace and moved her arms around him. "We's friends. But no mores funny business." She told him firmly.
Elliot smiled and kissed her head. "I promise. No more funny business."
"Munchkin! Come and get your seat before the movie starts!" Luke called from the media room, happily settled in his spit in front of the television. He knew he had to get a good seat. Mainly because Lily-Rose would be on his lap for the majority of the movie. It was their thing.
"Otays!" She called. Smiling to her uncle she then ran off in search of her other uncle.
"Careful baby!" Ana shouted after her before she then smirked as she looked to Elliot. "Well done."
Elliot looked to her and frowned slightly. "For what?"
"Surviving." She smirked and shook her head before heading off to find her sister in the kitchen.
Elliot looked to his brother. "Your kid is scary as fuck." He whispered to him taking a sigh of relief.
Christian laughed. "I know." He shook his head. "Consider yourself lucky. Yesterday she was fully on board with disowning your ass and had Taylor put you on the banned list. When she went to bed, I had to explain to him what the hell was going on."
Elliot shook his head running his fingers through his hair. "I didn't think she'd ask for her brother for Christmas."
Christian sighed. "I know. I was shocked myself when she said. I was even up at stupid o'clock trying to find solutions."
"Did you find any?"
"She's asked for a pram for Christmas so we are getting her that as we will buy her a doll for her to use it with but it's not her brother. She wants her brother."
"Haven't you only just found out it was a boy?"
Christian nodded. "She's not due until June. We've got a long way to go yet."
"I'm sure it will fly by." Elliot reassured him with a smile.
"I hope so." He smiled. "I'm excited for our next scan."
Elliot's eyes lit up. "I've got an idea…"
"Jesus that doesn't sound good."
"No, it's a good one. Let me consult with mom first to see if it's doable. That kid is going to love me."
"Care to elaborate?"
"Hell no. This is my gift."
"Daddy! Uncle Lelliot! Comes on! The film is startings!"
Christian looked to his brother. "This conversation isn't over. I want to know what you got planned in that little head of yours."
"No way. This is from me to my beautiful niece." He mused with a smile to him before heading to the media room where everyone was waiting for them.
Christian watched his brother before shaking his head and following him. He had no idea what his brother was up to, but he sure as hell was determined to find out.
