24th December. 1 day until Christmas.

"Oh, will you stop sulking." Laughed Ana with a shake of her head as she sipped her tea and looked to Christian. He had been sat there for five minutes, pouting and sulking. Luke had taken Lily-Rose out for their annual Christmas Eve hot chocolate. This was when Ana would wrap all the presents and make sure she had everything for the big day tomorrow. This year, thanks to Gail they were more than on top of things, especially considering how exhausted she had been lately.

"But it's not fair. Why can't I know?" He asked with a huff.

"Because it's Elliot's gift to Lily-Rose. He wants it to be a surprise."

"More like he doesn't want me to outdo him and he wants to shine on the big day taking all the attention away from me."

Ana stared at him gobsmacked. Putting her cup down at the table she looked to him. "Christian. I say this because I love you. Stop acting like a spoilt brat." She told him firmly. "Christmas isn't about you outdoing your brother. It's about family and making sure our daughter has the most magical day ever. Now tell your ego to go and do one before sex is completely off the menu." She stated before grabbing her tea and taking another sip.

Christian pouted to her. "But…"

"No buts." She cut in. "It's about Lily-Rose. Not you. You better be on your best behaviour tomorrow. We have a lot of people coming over tomorrow and everything must go perfectly."

Christian sighed and nodded. "You're right. It's just our first Christmas as a family. I wanted it to be the best day ever."

"And it will be." Ana told him with a smile. "Just don't let Elliot wind you up. I doubt you want to make a fool of yourself."

"Never going to happen."

"Good." Ana smiled before she finished off her tea. "Though I do feel like we've gone really overboard on the presents."

"I know…but her little face… I can't help it. Just seeing it all happy…."

Ana smiled. "You're an amazing father."

Christian blushed a little. "I want to be the best. I want my children to be proud of me. You to be proud of me."

"You are." Ana confirmed to him. "And we are."

Leaning over, Christian pressed a kiss to her lips.

Ana smiled as she happily kissed him back. These moments were rare as they were normally interrupted by their three-year-old.

"I's home!" Came said three-year old's voice as she skipped though the house. "Mommy! Daddy! Gails! Taylors! Where are yous?" She called.

Ana smiled against Christian's lips. "We will continue this later." She whispered against his lips before pulling away and turning and smiling seeing Lily-Rose come into view. "Hey baby."

Running over to her mother, Lily-Rose grinned as she was scooped up. Smothering her mother in kisses she sighed happily. "Me missed you mommy." Lily-Rose looked to Christian. "Me missed you too daddy."

"We missed you too princess." Ana told her as she kissed her head before she smiled to Luke. "You two have fun?"

"We did." Luke confirmed with a smile. "Found this awesome coffee shop a few blocks from here actually. Best hot chocolate ever ey kiddo?"

"The bestest." Lily-Rose grinned. "They's gaves me lots of marshimallows!"

"They did? You're a very lucky girl."

Lily-Rose smiled before gesturing for Christian to take her. As he did, she grinned and smothered him in kisses just like she did her mother before snuggling into him.

Christian held her close and smiled. He really did love moments like this. Just to hold her and treasure these small moments because before he knows it, she'll be grown up and off to college.

"What else did you have?" Ana asked curiously to her daughter.

"Urms, a cheese and ham panini with somes cucumbers sticks and thens we hads a blueberries muffins. Its was scrummy."

"Sounds it. What do you say to Uncle Luke?"

"Thank yous Uncle Lukey." Lily-Rose grinned to him before letting a yawn pass her lips.

"I think someone needs a nap." Christian smiled. "Shall I take you up?"

"Yes pwease daddy." She mumbled curling into him more.

"Say goodbye to Uncle Luke."

"Bye byes Uncle Lukey. Sees yous tomorrow."

"See you tomorrow kiddo. Don't forget. Cookies for Santa. Carrots for Rudolph."

"Rights." Lily-Rose nodded before yawning once more and closing her eyes on her father's shoulder.

Christian smiled as he headed up to her room.

Watching them go, Ana then smiled to her brother. "Thank you for taking her."

Luke smiled sitting down. "Don't sweat it. You know I love my annual Christmas eve hot chocolate with her. I know she's only 3…but I love it."

Ana smiled. "She loves it too. And you. She loves spending time with her Uncle Lukey."

Luke chuckled. "I love her to bits. She's such a character." He smiled to his sister. "You've done an amazing job raising her."

"With help from you and everyone else. It hasn't been easy…. but I'm glad Christian is here now. And he's here for this pregnancy." She smiled tapping her bump.

"How is little man in there?"

"Cooking nicely." She smiled. "Though he is making me exhausted. Didn't think I'd ever sleep so much."

"Better than morning sickness though yeah?"

"I don't know." Sighed Ana. "At least when the morning sickness was happening, I was sick and then I'd be fine, but I'm just tired all the time…I don't know what is going to happen tomorrow."

"You're going to let Gail and our mother's deal with it." Came Christian's voice as he entered the room and took a seat next to Ana. "Gail runs a tight ship in the kitchen. She'll have everything organised before we even finish breakfast." Leaning over he kissed Ana's head.

"Maybe I should marry Gail." Luke chuckled with a shake of his head.

"How's Katy?" Ana then asked with a smirk.

"She's fine." Luke laughed. "She's with her family for Christmas."

"She still living in California?"

Luke nodded. "It sucks but we are making it work." He shrugged and smiled. "We care too much about each other to short of stop things."

Ana smiled. "Everything will fall into place when the time is right."

"I know. Lily-Rose asked about her while we were out. I would have Facetimed her but she's finishing up work in the office so we sent her a selfie and I let Lily-Rose 'write' a message to her and I had to promise her that I would call her when Katy answered."

"Our little diva." Laughed Ana with a shake of her head.

"Indeed. Anyway. I have some last-minute things to pick up."

"Naturally. Always a last-minute shopper."

"You know it." He laughed getting up. "I'll give missy a call later. What time is everyone arriving tomorrow?"

"I think people are arriving from eleven. You coming with dad?"

"I'm staying with them." He chuckled. "Your mom insisted. She didn't want me to be alone on Christmas."

"Good. Might keep you sober and not go on a bendser." She mused with a smirk.

Luke groaned. "Never going to live that down."

"Never. Lily-Rose often asks if you are 'outs ons a bendser.'"

"Damn I love that kid." He chuckled. "Anyway. See you all tomorrow. Take it easy." He warned his sister before he headed out.

Seeing her brother out, Ana then headed over to the living room area and plonked herself down, smiling as Christian joined her.

"Tired?"

"Always." Ana smiled. "But it's okay." She rubbed her bump. "I can live with it as long as he is cooking nicely."

"When's our next scan?"

"Third week of January. I put it on the calendar. I was hoping for an earlier one but they're jammed packed but she said any concerns over the holidays and to ring the ward at the hospital and there should be a midwife and doctor on call."

Moving his hand to her bump he gently rubbed it. "You two will be perfectly fine." He promised. "I'm going to take care of both of you. And our little miss diva."

Ana smiled. "I have no doubt." Moving closer to him she happily snuggled into him and closed her eyes briefly. "Last Christmas was so crazy. I wanted it to be perfect for her because it was the first Christmas where she sort of understood what was going on."

"And this year it will be even more perfect." He promised kissing her head as he held her close to him. "For now, you just rest. We have a good hour before missy wakes up." Kissing her head, he smiled. "Let's just enjoy the moment."

"I like the sound of that." Ana smiled staying happily content in his arms. She was going to make the most of this because she knew come tomorrow, it would be all hands-on deck. It was going to be one fun filled, crazy day with the ones she loved most. Christmas was finally here and she couldn't wait to see their little girls face in the morning.
