Robin took an abnormally large chunk out of his first slice of pizza, bringing his drink to his lips. Finally. The best thing that had happened to him in the last 24 hours: pizza. His face was covered in sauce, and he definitely had cheese stuck between his teeth, but he couldn't care less. There were very few things in this world that made him this happy, and he was going to enjoy himself as much as he possibly could.

The rest of the Titans seemed equally excited about their meal, eating in absolute silence. Everyone really needed this, he figured, after everything that had happened last night.

"Robin, yes?" The gruff looking man that had approached Robin asked. He had a bit of a southern tang to his accent. He had a bronze tinge to his light skin and dark blonde hair. When Robin nodded, the man stuck out a hand. "Director Agent W, Head of the GiW. My pleasure."

"You're a little late," Robin replied, shaking the agent's hand. "The... giant hound is gone. He was taken by that ghost kid."

The agent sighed, crossing his hands behind his back and shaking his head. "An unfortunate missed opportunity on our part. Though, I suppose we would have been successful if we'd been notified sooner." He shook his head, clapping a hand on Robin's shoulder. "But it doesn't matter. All is forgiven. It isn't your fault - you kids are trying your best for a bunch of eccentric teenagers, after all."

"Sure," Robin grumbled. He knew when he was being mocked. He held his tongue nonetheless, clenching his hands. "But in case something like this happens again, we'd appreciate a little more information on these ghosts, Director. Anything you have on restraining them, at least until we -"

"Oh, no need." Robin nearly got swatted in the face by the dismissive hand. "We'll have more surveillance throughout the city. We heard stories of your team's response time and ability, but I suppose… stories are stories, hmm?" He sniffed. "Well. That's no issue for us. Why don't you and your little "Titans" give your statements to our investigators? I have things to do, people to see…"

The rest of the night wasn't any better - Robin, Cyborg, and Raven were swarmed by reporters loaded with leading questions, and by the time they managed to escape, the sun was creeping up. Worse still, the convention started at 7:30 AM, and the mayor had insisted that all five of them should show up a half hour early. Needless to say, the three of them didn't get much sleep - this lunch break was the first break they'd gotten.

Robin sighed. Now wasn't the time to be thinking about that. What mattered was finding out what they could do now. He set his drink down with a clap on the table, bringing the attention of the four Titans. "Alright, guys. Anything to report?"

"I actually found something potentially useful!" Starfire replied cheerfully, waving a hand in the air and vibrating in her seat. "I was looking atsome of the displays and found one regarding the Phantom boy you encountered last night."

"Oh, good," Robin said, leaning in. Cyborg and Raven followed suit. "What did you find out?"

"Well, he is considered a public enemy by the media and the officials," Starfire said slowly. "But most witnesses say he can be nice. Many people in Amity Park believe he is a hero, like us. He has saved them many times from big evil ghosts. The poster I saw was list of all of the good things he's done."

"Do you know who made the poster?"

"It was made by some students at Casper High School. He seems to be popular among the students there."

"Nothing we didn't already know then. Some people like him, some people hate him." Robin scratched his chin. "What'd you get, Cy? Anything about equipment?"

"Nada on that," Cyborg replied with a pout. "I'm already sick of all these damn ghost hunters, man. All they care about is either getting me to join their weird cult or making me pay a ton for their gear. Hopefully I'll find someone who'd be willing to just let me tinker with their stuff for a bit so that I can make one of those portable cages Phantom had on him."

"Hmmm. Keep looking," Robin encouraged.

Cyborg poked Beast Boy in the head, who was unusually silent. Robin leaned over to get a good look - and groaned when he saw a game console clutched between his sauce-covered hands. "What were you up to this whole time, huh?" Cyborg asked. "I didn't see you all morning. Hey! Earth to BB!"

When he got no answer, Cyborg swiped the game from Beast Boy's hands, grimacing at the sauce caked on the buttons. There was an indignant cry, and Beast Boy was on his feet, reaching for it over Cyborg's head. "Hey! Give that back!" He turned his head, giving Robin a pleading look. "Come on, dude, I swear, I was - researching! And covering… ground -"

"Covering more levels in Doom, more like," Raven said, rolling her eyes. "Anyway. I sorta found a lead. There's these two -" She stopped mid-sentence, something catching her eye. Her eyebrows shot up. "Actually… here, wait. I can just show you."

Robin watched Raven stand and glide across the balcony seating towards two people their age. One of them was a taller girl with bright auburn hair, much like Starfire's. She had bright blue eyes and a pretty face, and she was wearing a blue dress. She seemed to be arguing with another boy. As soon as they noticed Raven, the girl practically squealed. The shorter kid didn't look much older than Robin himself. He had tousled black hair and blue eyes, and he was wearing a white collared shirt with a red tie and black pants. Unlike the girl, he looked completely drained and a little more wary. After a few moments, Raven motioned to their table, and the three of them made their way over.

"I brought some guests," Raven said, gesturing to the two of them.

The auburn haired girl instantly perked up. "I'm Jasmine, but you can call me Jazz!" She rushed out, breathless with excitement. She reached for Beast Boy and Starfire's hands and shook them firmly. "Oh! And this is Danny - he's my little brother." She nudged him like a mother would her child.

Danny blinked a few times, his face blank, but he managed a small smile, raising a hesitant hand in a half-hearted wave. "Nice to meet you," he said quietly, almost drowned out by the background voices. "Big fan."

"It's wonderful to meet you too!" Starfire replied with enthusiasm equivalent to Jazz's. She clasped their hands together when Jazz reached to shake it. "You are most welcome to join us! It's not every day Raven brings over new friends!"

Cyborg had already pushed his chair and Raven's to either side, filling the gap with two new ones from another table. They took their seats and joined the circle table. "I'll put in another order for a pie," Cyborg said, stepping back. "What do you guys want?"

"Just plain is fine," Jazz said. She reached for her wallet. "Here, let me -"

"You're good," Cyborg said, shooting her a wink. "This one's on us."

Robin did some math in his head. He was in charge of keeping track of finances, and a good chunk of their earnings went straight to this establishment. The manager of this pizza joint always made sure they'd get their "saving the world" discount, or else they'd be paying a fortune every single time they went out. They definitely had enough to cover these two

Jazz gave him a grateful grin as he stepped off. "Wow, thank you! You guys are really sweet!" She glanced back in the direction Cyborg had gone before turning her attention to the table. "I'm surprised people don't swarm you guys all the time out in the open like this. Aren't you celebrities here?"

"We might be famous, but most people are afraid of us," Robin said. "We still don't really fit in."

"They're just intimidated by how cool we are," Beast Boy said, wearing an overconfident smirk. He leaned over, invading Jazz's space with a twitch of his eyebrows. "I think we're just on another level, you know?"

Beast Boy earned a shove from a now less patient Raven. "No. You're definitely just weird, Beast Boy. We all are."

Jazz blinked a few times, giving Beast Boy a hesitant smile. "Oh. Well. I guess I never saw it that way. Danny and I have been around enough "weird", though, so I guess it doesn't really matter as much to us. Back in Amity, we'd be stepping over each other to meet you."

Robin looked at Raven as soon as Jazz mentioned Amity. Raven gave him a nod, so he turned to Jazz. "Are you guys… here for the convention?"

"Yes! Our parents are crazy about ghosts - they're the ones who started the whole ectology thing in the first place, Jack and Maddie Fenton. We thought they were insane until ghosts actually started showing up two years ago, and now...well, we both got wrapped up in it, too."

Starfire tilted her head questioningly. "Are you both ghost hunters as well?"

Jazz and Danny both seemed to do a double take at the question. They exchanged a look. "Uh… not really," Jazz said finally, slowly turning her head towards Starfire. "Our parents sort of just dragged us along. We've had some… pretty bad run-ins. We know a lot about that stuff, though, if you guys want to learn more about it."

Cyborg chose that moment to return with the new pizza for the two siblings. He set it in front of them, moving his own box away to make room. Raven telekinetically moved her empty one into the trash can beside them. "There you go," he said. "One plain pizza."

"Actually…" Robin started. "Cyborg here wanted some equipment to look at. We want to be prepared in case more ghost attacks happen, and if we could get an idea of how the technology works, he'd be able to build some, too."

Cyborg's eyes widened. "Wait… you guys have that sort of thing?"

"Yeah, of course!" Jazz smiled. "My parents don't mind sharing. I'm sure we can find you guys some random equipment to work on - we have a whole stash rotting in the back of the Fenton Family Ghost Assault Veh - I-I mean the RV," she stuttered out when Danny nudged her halfway through that mouthful. She reached for a piece of pizza, handing one over to her brother before taking one for herself. "But yeah. If you guys need anything, we can get it for you."

"You have no idea how awesome that would be," Cyborg said, looking relieved. "I was about to spend a whole arm and a leg for even one of those ecto guns at the convention. No one is willing to hand over a single bit of their technology for me to even look at."

"Don't worry. Even if we didn't tell them, my dad loses equipment so often I doubt he'd notice it was missing."

"Thank you. Really. After last night's run-in with ghosts, this is a blessing."

"Yeah," Raven said. "Even Phantom has better upgraded tech than we do to catch ghosts. And he's one himself."

"Yeah," Jazz said, scratching her neck. "No idea how he got his hands on it, that's for… sure."

"This Mr. Phantom… he is strange, is he not?" Starfire asked. "I don't understand why he would hunt his own kind."

Danny, who had been quiet up until this point, finally spoke up, taking a bite out of his pizza. "Well, he isn't the first." When he realized all five Titans were staring at him, he coughed, swallowing too hard. "I-I mean. There's another hunter ghost that we've met who has terrorized Amity before, so. He likes mounting them on his walls or whatever."

The Titans all mirrored faces of disgust. "That's creepy, dude," Beast Boy said, shuddering.

"Does Phantom too like to mount his hunt on his walls?" Starfire asked, horrified.

"No!" Jazz and Danny yelled out at the same time. "No," Danny said again. "He just sends them back so that they stop harassing people and destroying Amity."

"They all have different reasons for doing it," Jazz piped up, trying to give Beast Boy a reassuring smile. "Phantom does it because he wants to protect people."

Robin leaned back and crossed his arms. "So you support Phantom, then?"

"Of course! I mean," Jazz rolled her eyes, giving Danny a side-long glance, "I may be a little biased considering he's saved me and my family more than a couple times, but I think that speaks for itself. He's one of the good guys. Take it from someone who has a lot of experience with unfriendly ghosts." She grinned. "My parents don't agree with me, though. They're always saying they want to rip him up, molecule by molecule." She said the last bit with a deeper voice, puffing out her chest.

Robin blinked. That phrasing… Phantom had used it, too.

"Not to be a downer, but like… didn't he kidnap a mayor, or something?" Beast Boy asked. They all turned to him, surprised. "Hey! What? I told you I did some research!"

"That… turned out to be more complicated," Jazz said. "I mean, turns out a lot of people were getting possessed by ghosts that night. It's hard to say who was attacking who."

"It's easier to blame a ghost than it is a political figure," Danny said pointedly.

"I… I see," Robin murmured. Then it was true - Phantom just wanted to stay out of the limelight if only to avoid getting attacked by hunters or further getting misunderstood. That would explain why he was so adamant about leaving the other night.

"Well, all heroes are misunderstood at some point," Cyborg said, shooting Robin with that same weighted look. "Maybe we just don't know the whole story."

Robin glared back, but after a silent stare off with his best friend, he sighed, his shoulders drooping. Robin knew what it was like to be a misunderstood hero. How many times had the Titans' reputation been messed with? How many times had they painstakingly fixed it while saving the world to maintain their place? "I guess I could've given him a chance to explain."

Cyborg shot him a smug look before looking at Jazz. "So is that big dog supposed to be a good one, too? He was the one who attacked the park last night, in case you didn't hear."

"Oh, no, trust me, we didn't hear the last of it." Jazz turned to Danny. "Your friend Valerie got attacked by Cujo, right?"

Danny gave her what looked to be an annoyed frown before turning to Robin. "Yeah. He's a… dog from Axion - that's the lab Valerie's dad worked at. He follows me - people, around sometimes. If he likes you, he gets attached. If he gets excited, he kinda… turns into a big dog thing. He accidentally destroyed Valerie's house."

"He sure does," Cyborg said, shooting Robin an amused look. Robin felt panic shoot up his spine - no, don't - don't tell them! "That dog was all over Robin last night. He isn't much of a dog person, but you couldn't tell from how Cujo was sticking to him."

"Ohhh!" Starfire shot out of her seat and floated, startling the Fentons. She paid them no mind, reaching over and placing a gentle hand on Cyborg's shoulder. "You must show them the pictures! Those were adorable!"

"Wait - maybe we don't need to do that," Robin started, but everyone ignored him. He groaned when Cyborg pressed a few buttons on his arm and a holographic image appeared for the Fentons to look at. "No - guys, really -"

Jazz giggled at the short video of Robin gurgling as the small puppy attacked him with licks. "Oh my Gosh," she managed between breaths. "That's going to be in my head for a while, now. Not so serious after all, huh, Boy Wonder?"

Everyone burst out laughing at Robin's expense, who dropped his head against the round table in defeat.

Oddly enough, though, Danny wasn't laughing - if anything, he looked just as embarrassed, his eyes widening before he clapped a hand against his forehead.

"You good, dude?" Beast Boy asked between laughs.

Danny met his eyes before giving him a tired smile. "Yeah, fine. It's funny. Just - second hand embarrassment. Jazz shows awful pictures of me off all the ti - Hey!" He tried and failed miserably at tackling Jazz as she reached for her own phone. "That wasn't permission to show them -"

"You asked for it," she said just as deviously. "Look, I have this one of Danny - this one school lunch lady ghost covered him in meat - oh, and this other one, when the box ghost attacked him with a box of Guys and Dolls costumes -"

The next few minutes were absolute agony for Robin - though, he felt just as bad for Danny, who sank further and further into the collar of his shirt until only his eyes peered out. Cyborg and Jazz had no problem putting out a bunch of pictures and small videos out for everyone to see like it was some sort of competition over who had better blackmail material on their teammate/sibling.

Eventually, Cyborg showed mercy and moved onto showing off an entire photo album of Beast Boy curled up in dumpsters, turning the attention away from the two of them.

"What? They're warm, especially when I'm patrolling in the winter!" Came Beast Boy's squeaky yell.

"Whatever you say, Alley Cat," Cyborg teased back. "Still a weird place to hibernate."

"Alright, guys," Robin said, piling together the empty pizza boxes. "That's enough. We have work to do." Robin pulled out his communicator, checking the time. It was almost past 2 - which meant th should've been back on patrol a half hour ago. Robin looked up at Danny and Jazz, shooting them both a grin. "It was nice meeting you. We'll be in touch."

Raven floated over to Jazz, holding her phone against her chest. "Here," she said quietly, turning her head away. "Give me a call after the convention. We'll talk."

Jazz took the phone with shaky hands and punched in her number. "Sure," Jazz said, looking absolutely starstruck. "I'll… I'll call you. See you, Raven."

The Titans waved them off after cleaning up, jumping from the balcony seating as they always did. As soon as they were out of sight, Starfire squealed. "That was so much fun!" She cried, twirling in the air. "It's been so long since we've spent time with new friends!"

"Some of us were getting a little more than friendly, though, hmm?" Cyborg nudged Raven, a teasing smirk on his lips.

"You really think I have a shot?" Beast Boy asked, his eyes shooting up from his game that he'd somehow gotten back.

"Not you, BB." Cyborg instead turned to Raven, leaning down to her level. "Look at you, giving out your number to someone you just met."

Robin blanched. "Wait - Raven, do you really -" He hadn't really noticed. But then again, Cyborg was better at picking up on these things. "Jazz?"

"Shut up," Raven said abruptly, shoving Cyborg's face. "We needed some way to contact her. And I'm the one who brought her over." She pulled her hood over face though - her telltale sign of hiding embarrassment. "Besides. I was more curious about the younger guy, Danny."

"The quiet kid?" Cyborg asked. "What about him?"

"He's…" Raven shrugged, rubbing her forehead. "Now I'm thinking it's nothing, but his aura is… cold. And he has some sort of weird energy. I can't quite place it, but there's something strange about him. I overheard them talking about the convention and the Guys in White, so I followed them, and he sensed me." She sighed. "When I touched him, though, he felt normal. Or maybe it was some sort of block - I don't know."

"You used your powers on him?" Robin asked incredulously.

"Only for a moment. I ended up scaring the life out of him," she said quietly, looking down at the floor. "But I needed to know if my instinct was right. That's how I met the two of them in the first place."

"Some people do have a stronger sixth sense," Cyborg reasoned, patting her shoulder. "And they did mention they'd had bad experiences with ghosts; maybe he's more observant than most."

"That boy looked very tired, yes?" Starfire said, looking concerned. "Perhaps being at a convention all about something he is scared of is most stressful."

Robin turned to Raven. "It's good that you ended up running into them, so don't worry about it," he added. "We should have some friends from that place. Maybe we won't need the GiW's help anymore."

"We should ask those two about those guys, too," Cyborg said, crossing his arms. "Something tells me that if they like Phantom, they probably aren't huge fans of the GiW."

Robin nodded, about to say something back, and then -

BOOM.

The Titans whirled on instinct. A cloud of smoke reached up towards the clear sky, sparks flashing.

"Titans!" Robin yelled turning on his heel, but his teammates were faster. Raven had melted into the ground in an instant, Beast Boy letting out a screech as him and Starfire leapt into the air. Cyborg and Robin ran in sync to the car, peeling after the other three.

"That's… the bank, isn't it?" Cyborg said, his head halfway out the window as he swerved. "In broad daylight? With us around?'

"Them attacking at night isn't much of a difference because we're around," Raven's voice crackled through the radio. "But it looks like this won't be an easy one," she said warily.

"You know, she may be stealing cash and terrorizing people, but I do dig the whole mohawk and tattoo thing," Beast Boy said. "Oh. Oh no. Wait, I take it back. Dude, those aren't tattoos, they're -"

"Ghosts!" Starfire gasped. "She is a ghost! And the drawings on her body, they're coming to life! And they - urgh!" They heard a whoosh, followed by a crash and Starfire's groan of pain three seconds later.

"Star, are you okay?" Robin asked, trying not to sound panicked.

"I - I went right through!" She said, her voice sounding muffled. "Robin, I - I think we need ghost hunter help!"

"I can call Jazz," Raven said. "Give me a second."

By then, Robin and Cyborg were pulling up. They jumped out of the car and headed for the building, only to stop in their tracks as a hunk of concrete whizzed past them.

"Hey - Robin?!" Beast Boy hollered, rolling on the ground outside a shattered window, swarmed by a bunch of green bats. "You're more experienced with bats than I am, aren't you?'

Robin ignored the joke and pulled out his staff, whirling it like a fan as Beast Boy rolled away. As soon as his hits landed, the bats poofed, disappearing. He helped Beast Boy up with a hand and jumped through the window, watching Starfire and Raven fighting the green woman. She had a large mohawk and a red cape. When she turned to face him, her eyes shined a deep red. She was dressed in a leather garter, fishnets, and leather boots. He grudgingly had to agree with Beast Boy. She was kinda hot, without the whole robbing a bank and destroying a building thing.

Suddenly, there was a shine on the floor. He looked down. A metal cylinder rolled towards him, clanging against the metal rim of his boot. Robin reached down and picked it up, wincing from the papercut he gave himself from the sticky note that brushed against his fingers. There was a note scribbled in rushed handwriting.

"Just open the cap, point, and press the green button towards the front. Once the ghost is in, close the lid to turn it off. DO NOT turn the knob to release, or Cujo will be eating the rest of the cash, and you'll be left with two ghosts to deal with. Have fun!"

It was signed with a weird looking D - no, Robin thought. It was a very badly drawn P, probably.

"Uh, Robin?" Beast Boy said, frowning, derailing his train of thought. "Where did that weird looking thermos come from?"

"Doesn't matter," he said, already uncapping it. If he was right, and Phantom had used this the night before… This was exactly what he needed right now.

He pointed it at the ghost, pressing the green button. "Hey!" He yelled, getting her attention, as a blast of green light erupted at the end of thermos.

The woman seemed to recognize the thermos, but it was already too late - the beam hit her square in the chest, and she screamed as she was yanked from where she stood, swirling into the opening.

A distant memory came back to Robin in a flash - Halloween, back from Before. He'd watched the Ghostbusters movie for the first time, and he was wearing that big old backpack with the tube his mother had made him from scraps of props from one of their performances. He had spent the night running around in the dark, chasing rustling leaves and his friends dressed like aliens. Somehow, he felt a little fulfilled as he brought the cap over the thermos, turning it in his hands in wonder.

"Whoa!" Cyborg yelled. "No way! That's - that's ghost tech!" Cyborg came bounding over from outside, having moved some civilians out of the building. "Where did you get that?"

"I don't know," Robin said, staring at it. He blinked when he saw a word etched into one of the plates: FENTON. "I think… I think it belongs to Phantom."

"Does that mean he was here?" Raven asked, walking over.

Starfire floated alongside her, looking a little upset. "I believe so. He didn't even stop to say hello."

Robin shook his head. "Why would this have Fenton on it? Are those guys helping him?"

"I don't know," Cyborg said, pulling the note off. "It could be that he stole it. Jazz said her father loses these things on the regular. But then again… maybe they're bigger fans of Phantom than they said. Hey, Raven, did Jazz get back to you?"

"Um… she said she was just reaching the convention center. By the time she started heading over, you got it covered with that metal thing. I told her she didn't need to show and hung up."

"Hmmm." Cyborg flipped the note, blinking. "Oh, there's more on here. "P.S. If you see me again, please don't… point it at me."" Cyborg squinted. "Is that supposed to be a D?"

"D for what?" Beast Boy asked, quirking an amused brow. That earned him a swat from Raven.

"I think it's a P, for Phantom," Starfire replied, floating over to look at it.

"That's a weird way to draw it," Cyborg said.

"Do you… do you guys hear that?" Beast Boy asked. He strode over to the broken window. "Hey - I think the GiW's pulling in! They got these weird white cop cars, man, you gotta see!"

"Cyborg," Robin said, tensing. "Hide the thermos."

"Don't have to tell me twice," he said. He turned, hitting a button on his arm, opening a small hollow space in his back. He handed Robin the thermos, who stowed it away.

"I'm never gonna get used to that," Beast Boy said, grimacing at the sight.

Just as the hatch shut, a bunch of men blasted the door open. "GiW! Put your hands up! Secure the perimeter, men!"

"Not this again," Raven groaned.

"Teen Titans!" They all turned their heads towards Chief Agent W, who came tearing into the room. "I thought I told you kids to stay out of our way."

"The threat has been dealt with," Robin said. "We just showed up first. Your men weren't fast enough."

"So you were able to deal with the ghost? Odd, considering you haven't acquired the equipment yet."

"We didn't!" Starfire piped up. "Phantom did. He stopped the ghost."

The other four looked at her in surprise, but Starfire stayed resolute, glaring at the Chief, who looked at her with annoyance. His eyes trailed between them.

"Phantom stopped it." They nodded. "And you let him get away again? Conveniently?"

When none of them responded, he leaned in, suddenly looking angry. "Listen, Titans. I have been kind. This is my limit for kindness. If I find out you all are withholding information about Phantom, a class 1 threat to Amity Park and now Jump City, there will be legal action. You understand?"

"Perfectly, sir," Cyborg responded, his face pulled into a scowl.

"I'm sure you do," he growled, before stomping away.

"Well. That went well." Raven said.

"Yeah." Robin sighed. "Let's get out of here."

They all piled into the car, driving off towards the shoreline. Once they finally got out of earshot of the investigation, Beast Boy spoke. "So, just to make sure we're all on the same page here - Phantom's a good guy? We're trusting him?"

"I don't know," Robin said. "There's still a part of me that wonders about his intentions."

"Oh, come on, man! You said you'd give him the benefit of doubt, right?" Cyborg said. "This guy could really help us - especially in something we have no experience in!"

"That doesn't make him a friend," Raven shot back. "He could be using us. It's happened before."

"She's right," Robin said. "He may really be exactly what you think of him, Cyborg. But I don't want you to get your hopes up. I'm sorry."

Cyborg sighed, softly slapping the steering wheel. "Yeah," he grumbled. "Fine. It just… he seems kinda normal, you know? The other people we met who turned out to be awful people were quirky or edgy. This guy doesn't give me that same feeling."

"Cyborg," Robin said warily.

"At least if he comes out, give him a chance," Cyborg said.

"If he comes out. I think you kinda scared him off the first time, Rob," Beast Boy said with a laugh.

"Fine. Deal. I'lll… be the nice," he said, looking back at Starfire, who gave him a twinkling smile. He had to look away before he got too distracted. "All we can do is hope you're right. But first… we need to figure out how much more that the Fentons are involved in this."

I'M ALIVE! Crazy that the reason I came back five years later with a new chapter is because I saw a Tumblr post with a story line eerily similar to the first chapter of this story. They'd changed a couple things, like making it about soulmarks and instead of the Titans it was the Bat family, but I think you definitely know your own ideas and writing when you see it. So to spite them (even though they'll likely never see this and I really shouldn't be motivated by dumb posts on silly sites about kid shows) I'm finishing this damn story. Hopefully. (I don't know. I'm bad at promises to strangers on the internet.)

Anyway, enjoy! I'm gonna update the past couple chapters to fix a couple of typos that the comments caught (thank you for that,) but otherwise they'll remain the same. Hopefully I'll see you all with another one sooner than in five years!
