Chapter 2~ Tortuga

I stood in the busy streets of Tortuga. My crew had all gone off to get drinks and spend time in the whorehouses and Chris stayed on the ship to keep watch with Bowen. I didn't think it wise for the cabin boy to be exposed to a town like this and Chris didn't like being tempted by the prostitutes. They were always hanging all over him.

Will and I were hiding in an alley next to the Faithful Bride. I remembered this place far too well. The one huge difference between Tortuga and Port Royal was that this place seemed to only get worse after six years. My eyes scanned the streets, searching for any sign of Jack. "Are you sure he's here, Will?" I asked.

"This is where he said he was going. He was only in Port Royal a few days before you arrived. Knowing him, he's in the Faithful Bride with whores sitting in his lap." I nodded. That was a total giveaway. Jack had always been a charmer with the women...and they bought every last bit of it. "Do you think he'll think of my as a whore?" I asked the blacksmith as I gestured to my dress. It was so low-cut that half of my breasts were revealed and the corset I wore beneath the red and gold dress made my waist about twenty inches wide and pressed my breast closer together. My hair was pulled up in a messy bun and I wore bright makeup to make my features stand out. "Jack may be smart...but he's a fool when it comes to women," Will told me.

"You're right. He's the one who does the stupid things...not you. Now...you go in and distract Jack. Talk to him and in about five to ten minutes, I'll go in and get him. I just need to go and tell Chris a few more things." Will just nodded and walked into the tavern.

I casually walked up the gangplank and onto my ship. I looked around the deck and saw Chris sitting on the railing with a bottle of rum in his hand. I strolled up to him and wrapped my arms around his neck from behind. "Hi Morgan," he whispered. I could clearly recognize sadness in his voice. I quickly sat down next to him and let my feet dangle over the sea. "You okay?" I asked gently. He only nodded. "Stop playing and just tell me the truth. I can tell you're lying to me."

"Do I have to tell you everything?" he asked as he turned to look at me. I crossed my arms and raised an eyebrow. "Normally I would say no...but in this case...I order you as your Captain to tell me."

"Fine, you don't have to be so cruel about it," he said with a fake pout. I gently kissed his lips and held his face in my hands. Whenever he acted like this, it was just too cute to pass up. I would always have to kiss him. When I broke the kiss, he just stared at me wide eyed. "What?" I asked.

"Aren't you supposed to be with Jack Sparrow?" That did it. He finally made sense to me. I realized that he was afraid that I would leave him, so I gently stroked his cheek. "Don't worry about me and Jack. There are no sparks between us anymore. I'm in love with you, Chris."

"I love you too," he whispered as he ran a rough hand across my face and cupped my chin, "I just don't want to lose you."

"You'll never lose me. It's not like I'm going to fall back in love with Sparrow. He could easily give me the slip again. All I'm going to do is capture and torture him. He can suffer in the brig for the next few years of his life."

"What happened to you? Were you like this before I met you?" he asked as his fingers slowly brushed down my neck and rested on my shoulders.

"Actually, I was a sweet little angel," I whispered seductively in his ear. His grip on my shoulders tightened and I laughed lightly as I stood up and placed my hands on my hips. "Listen, I promise I'll spend tonight with just you...after we get Sparrow locked up." I smiled gently and then strolled down the gangplank and back onto shore.

Just then, my eyes caught sight of a ship next to mine. I couldn't tell what color it was, but my heart stopped when I saw the black sails through the darkness. The Black Pearl...so Jack was really here. "Time for a lesson in revenge, Sparrow," I whispered to myself as I walked down the streets toward the Faithful Bride.

"Two mugs of rum over here!" I heard someone yell as I entered the tavern. I slightly cringed at the smell. It was still as disgusting as it was the last time I had been here. Whores were running around, either being chased by men or vice versa. "It's nice to see ya again, whelp!" I heard the same voice yell.

"Jack, I told you never to call me that in public," Will's voice said calmly. I glanced toward the back of the tavern and saw Will sitting across from a man who had two prostitutes sitting on his lap. There he was...Jack Sparrow. He wore the same tri-corner hat and red bandage over his dark hair. The trinkets and dreadlocks were still in his hair and his beard was braided.

"This is it..." I mumbled as I put on a seductive face and slowly walked over to them, my hips swaying sexily with each step I took. "It's been six years, Will. Do you think she's coming back?" Jack asked him.

"I'm not sure, Jack. What exactly happened?" Will replied.

"Well-"

"Excuse me, ladies. I believe you've both spent enough time with Mr. Sparrow. It's my turn," I said with a smile as I looked upon Jack. His eyes were focused on my breast as he gently pushed the other ladies off him and patted his knee. I reluctantly sat down and gave him a seductive smile as I wrapped my right arm around his neck. I couldn't let him see my brand and tattoo. That would only lead to trouble. "So, what be your name, love?" he asked innocently.

"The name's Kelly," I said as I bat my eyes and ran my left hand down his chest. I could clearly see that Will was having trouble watching this. He knew I was going to hurt Jack...and Jack was his best friend. I didn't want to upset the blacksmith, but he knew about what Jack had done to me. He shouldn't have been offended. Sparrow, on the other hand, was enjoying every moment of me touching him and cuddling in his lap. I found this horrid. Jack Sparrow was a pathetic asshole. There was no way I was going to fall for him again. Plus, I was in love with Chris.

"Jack, would you tell me what happened?" Will asked him. My eyes snapped up at Will and I gave him a glare. Luckily, Jack didn't notice. "Glad to, Will," he replied, "Well, her name was Natalie. You remember her, don't ye mate?" Will nodded while I kept up my "whore act". On the inside, I cringed at the thought of my old name...and my past with him. "Anyway I brought her here to have a little 'fun'...and I left the next day because-" I wasn't going to give him a chance to finish that sentence. "Captain Sparrow, may I please see you outside?" I asked seductively, a false spark in my eye.

"Happy to, love," he replied as he stood up and placed an arm around my waist as we started to leave the tavern. I looked over my shoulder and saw Will sitting at the table with his arms crossed. He obviously wasn't joyous about the fact that I was lying to Jack...using his weaknesses as my own advantage. That was the only way to win this battle though.

As soon as we were out the door, my body was shoved hard against a stone wall and Jack's strong lips was ravishing my mouth. I almost froze, but I knew I had to make Jack believe I was just a whore from Tortuga. I ran my hands up to his face and pulled him as close as I could. His tongue ran along my lips as I slowly let my arms drop to my sides. He didn't even seem to notice. All he did was continue his assault on my mouth and run his hands up to my neck to pull me closer.

On the inside, I was smirking. I knew my plan was working. He believed I was some average whore who was willing to give him some pleasurable company. Well, I'd give him "pleasurable company" alright. As I carefully brought my hands down to the bottom of my dress, I felt Jack grab my wrist. He broke the kiss and stared into my eyes. "Easy there, love. You do want this to be slow and memorable," he whispered seductively in my ear. I felt a chill run through my entire body. It appeared he still had this effect on me. NO! I was not going to let this happen! Never again! "But Captain," I said with a pout, "I..."

"I know...you need me so badly," he interrupted. Eww! That's so gross! I was absolutely repulsed by his arrogance. What had I seen in this man? I must have been crazy. "Very well then," he said seductively as he propped me up onto his knee. Jack immediately kissed me again, but stopped as his hand reached my upper thigh. Crap! I forgot that I had my daggers on. That's why I was the one who needed to lift up my dress. When my gaze met Jack's, I could see rage running through his soul. He knew...he had to know. "You're not a whore!" he shouted as he stepped back.

"What are you talking about?" I asked innocently as I placed my arms behind my back.

"Ye have daggers under there!" he shouted, pointing at my dress, "A whore wouldn't have daggers like that."

"I...I use them to protect myself from men that I DON'T want sleeping with me. You...are an exception. I know how passionate you are...and you're what I want." I couldn't believe what I was saying. I felt disgusted saying these words to the man who broke my heart...made it bleed. "I know that whores wouldn't carry daggers! Now, who are ye?" he asked as he took out his pistol and brought it to my temple. His body was pressed against mine and I could feel the cold steel of the gun against my head. "I'll ask ye again...who the hell are ye?"

I felt helpless. Jack Sparrow was a much smarter man than I thought he was. I should have put those daggers on the back of my legs...stupid me! "Tell me," he ordered as he cocked his gun. My hands were behind my back and I was every so slightly pulling up the back of my dress. I had kept my gun strapped there and I was sure he didn't notice. At least, that's what I was hoping for. My fingers felt the hem of my dress and I began to move my hand up the back. "Whatcha doing, love?" Jack asked as he pushed me farther against the wall and the gun closer to my head.

"Nothing," I retorted as I continued to fiddle with my dress. I had a grip on the handle of my gun. At last! "Ye doing something!" he yelled as he dragged me away from the wall and pushed me to the ground. I dropped the pistol from my hand as my head hit the dirt. I cried out in pain and closed my eyes. "Well, well, well," Jack said, "Looks like ye had a gun too!" My eyes shot open and I looked to my right. My gun was within an arm's reach. I tried to grab it, but it was kicked from my reach by Sparrow's boot.

"You bastard!" I shouted as I began to back away. My eyes were on Jack as he began to advance on me. His eyes were boring into mine, making terror rise within me. "Ye shouldn't lie to ol' Captain Sparrow, love..."

"Wanna bet?" I asked as I positioned all my weight on my arms and kicked up onto my feet. I almost lost my footing and felt my feet slip, but I was able to stay up straight. I crossed my arms and glared at the pirate that stood before me. He still had his pistol pointed in my direction. As I began to lift my dress to grab a dagger, he shook his head. "I wouldn't be doing that, love," he said innocently, "I'm the one with the gun."

"I don't give a fucking shit!" I shouted as I unsheathed the both of them. He suddenly began laughing, an evil smile crossing his face. "What's so funny?" I asked him.

"Do ye honestly think ye can beat me?" he asked, "I'm Captain Jack Sparrow!"

"And I'm Captain Morgan Kelly!" I yelled back as I threw a dagger at him. It missed his face and got stuck in his hat. A laugh almost escaped my lips, but I held back thankfully. Jack just looked up at his hat and shook his head before snapping his fingers. A shot of pain went through my head and I watched as Jack turned into a blur of color and everything went dark.

A/N: Well, there's another chapter. I loved writing this one. I would so pull a stunt like Morgan did. I mean...what girl wouldn't?

Jack: Love, where's me rum?

Jack-Sparrow-Lover: In the cabinet...but I locked it.

Jack: WHAT?

Jack-Sparrow-Lover: Excuse me, mates... *walks into the kitchen* Jack, how many times do I have to tell you...
