Revenge of the Bleeding Heart

Disclaimer: I only own anything you don't recognize from "Pirates of the Caribbean". This is the sequel to "A Halloween Wish", so suggest you read that first...or you won't understand this.

Author's Note: Okay, I am so sorry I haven't updated in a while. I've been on vacation the whole month of August and I lost all the pages I had written for most of my stories. Grr... Anyway, I hope you all can forgive me. I will personally thank all my reviewers when I update again. Enjoy Chapter 10...even though it's a bit short.

By the way...school started again, so I'll update when I can. I have to focus on my schoolwork first though...being a senior now. sigh I always focused on it...but now it's crucial.

Chapter 10: Forget It

My eyes slowly fluttered open to what I believed to be the morning light. I groaned as the light was somewhat blinding, but I knew I had to get up sooner or later. When I sat up and looked around the room, I almost screamed. I was in JACK'S CABIN! "What the-oh no..." My voice faded away as I looked down at myself and realized that I was clad in only the sheets of Jack's bed. What had I done? Well...I knew what had happened, but why did I do this?

"This was such a mistake," I said as I went to stand up. As my bare feet met the floor, I heard Jack shouting from outside the door. "Shit," I muttered as I got back into bed and snuggled under the covers. I closed my eyes and pretended to be sleeping as I heard the cabin door open and close softly. I could hear footsteps slowly making their way toward me and my heart was pounding. What was I going to do? Jack would never let me live this down.

I felt Jack's rough hand glide across my cheek and down my neck, slowly pulling the blanket away. "Time to wake up, love," he whispered as he brought the blanket down so it touched the top of my cleavage. I groaned and opened my eyes to see Jack hovering over me with a sly grin on his face. He seemed satisfied with his deed now that he was clothed and the only thing separating my skin from the air was a sheet. I would make this one morning he would never forget.

"Jack," I said drowsily, "Why are you in my room?"

"I'm afraid you've got it all wrong, darling," he replied with a slight laugh, "Yer in my bed...in my cabin." A sweet smile crossed my face and Jack took that as the initiative. He brought one hand to my cheek and went to kiss me, but received a hard slap to his cheek. He backed up a few steps, clutching his cheek. "Why the hell did ye do that?"

"How dare you!" I yelled as I pulled the sheet around my body like a towel and stood up, "How dare you do this to me!"

"Me? Ye were the one who gave in." I walked toward him, grasping the sheet tightly around me, covering up every part of my body that I could. Jack gave me another sly smile but I just glared back.

"Where the fuck are my clothes?" I asked, keeping my voice even.

"Oh," Jack said as he backed over to a corner and picked up the clothes, "Ye mean these?" I reached my hand out to grab them, but Jack ran out the door of the cabin.

"HEY!" I shouted as I ran to the door and peeked my head out.

"Looks like you'll have to come and get them!" he yelled back. I glared at Jack as I watched him stand by the mast, dangling the clothes in front of me. "Come and get 'em," he said with that all too familiar glint in his eye. I looked around and noticed that no one was on deck, so walked back into Jack's cabin and grabbed one of his white shirts and pants. I quickly changed and then realized how stupid this was going to be. The pants could fall off if I got caught on something and the shirt was showing off most of my cleavage. The crew was going to find out one way or another.

I darted out onto the deck toward him, but all he did was climb up the mast at his lighting speed. DAMN! I looked up at him and watched as the sick bastard smirked down at me and climbed up farther. "You expect me to come and get them now?" I yelled up. He simply nodded and pulled himself up into the rigging. I immediately grabbed hold of the rigging and began to climb, occasionally letting my foot slip through the holes. Surprisingly, I caught up with the bastard pretty quickly. He didn't climb any higher, which I thanked God for. He only moved into the crow's nest and sat down. What was he trying to do to me?

As I finally pulled myself onto the platform, I looked down at Jack and say him smiling, showing off his gold and platinum teeth in the sunlight. "Thought ye'd never get here, love," he said sweetly.

"Give me my clothes," I ordered with my hand out.

"Why? Ye look so much better in mine."

"Give me my clothes," I said again, my voice rising.

"Natalie, ye used to like staying in my clothes." That was the last straw! I tackled Jack against the platform and snatched the clothes from his hands, but before I could stand, he pulled me back down and rolled over so I was below him.

"Let me go," I stated calmly.

"But ye look so adorable when yer angry."

"Let go," I said again. Jack, on the other hand, began to caress my cheek with his knuckles ever so slowly. Now...normally I wouldn't have cared, but I slept with him last night and all he could do was gloat about it...son-of-a-bitch. "I'm warning you..."

"Are ye gonna kiss me again, love? Better yet, we could relive last night up here or in me cabin. The crew's below eating." I quickly pushed Jack off me and stood up, brushing myself off as I stared out at the beautiful horizon line. God, I missed Chris. Was I ever going to see him again? He was the one man I truly loved. I'd do anything for him...even die.

My thoughts were broken when I felt a rough hand running along the groove in my neck. I sighed contently at the feeling and took in a small breath. It was an amazing sensation that seemed to spread from that one spot to every single inch of my body. I softly moaned and closed my eyes only to feel someone kissing the same spot. Shit...it felt nice. As I leaned my head back, the lips moved to my jaw line and I heard something clink together.

My eyes shot open and I noticed that Jack was the one who had been kissing and touching me. I quickly moved away and looked at him, my heart still racing from the feelings he had stirred in me. "D-Don't ever touch me like that again, Jack...EVER!"

"I don't know...ye seemed to enjoy it." I lowered my gaze and thought about it. No...I didn't enjoy it...I LOVED it! He had the most comforting touch when it came to love and that was my one weakness. "Well?" he asked. I looked back into the pirate's eyes and smiled slightly before climbing off the platform and grabbing onto the rigging. "Where are ye going?" he asked.

"To my room," I said with a smile as I started climbing down.

"Why?"

"To get away from you!" I shouted back up. He didn't respond right away, so I felt relief for that one moment when my feet met the deck of the Pearl again. Just then, the crew all came out from below and went about their business. I sighed when they didn't notice me and walked toward the stairs, only to stop dead in my tracks.

"NATALIE, I THOUGHT YE WANTED MORE THAN LAST NIGHT!" Jack yelled from the crow's nest. I heard the crew gasp and when I turned around, I saw them all staring at me with their mouths gaping. I simply smiled and looked back up at Jack who I could tell was smirking. I nodded my head once and then calmly walked down the stairs to the lower decks.

As I rounded a corner, I felt a pair of arms grab me as I toppled forward into the person. When I looked down, I realized that I was lying atop Will. "Sorry," I said softly as I stood up and extended my hand to him, which he took and stood up.

"No problem, but what was that I just heard from down here?" he asked.

"What?"

"I heard Jack yelling about 'last night' and 'you wanting more' I think it was. What was that about?" My heart just about stopped and I leaned against the wall. "What did you do?" Will asked accusingly.

"Nothing...I just...I have to go," I said as I walked past the blacksmith and into my cabin. When I shut the door, it opened again and Will came in, shutting and locking it behind him. "What do you want, Will?" I asked.

"You're worrying me. I've never seen you act like this."

"Sure you have...a few weeks ago, remember?" I sat down on my bed and folded my hands in my lap, keeping my eyes on the floor. I felt the bed shift and I looked up to see Will sitting next to me. He raised a hand to my face and brushed a stray hair away before cupping my cheek with one hand. I felt a tear prick my eyes, but I held it back and averted my eyes.

"What happened?" I looked back at the blacksmith and suddenly found myself in his embrace, his hands gently rubbing my back. It was comforting to have a friend who wouldn't ridicule me like the rest of the crew. "If you need to cry, you're allowed to," he whispered.

"I won't do that, Mr. Turner. I'm an adult and a pirate. I don't cry."

"Why not?" he asked gently as he soothingly rubbed my back.

"Because I just don't!" I shouted as I stood to my feet and walked over to the nearest wall. I braced both of my hands against it. This was ridiculous! I couldn't bear any of it anymore. I wanted off this ship and I wanted it now. One more minute with Jack and I would murder myself...and one more minute with Will and I would break down in his arms.

Why did life have to be so complicated? I had to just...forget it...
