The school year passed slowly for Kenny and Wendy. Bebe hadn't been on either of their minds. She sulked around school and faded into the background of both of their lives as their relationship flourished.
Every day Kenny and Wendy fell more in love. Now the summer was here. Right in the dog days, which meant a balmy 70 degrees for South Park.
Kenny and Wendy had planned a date, though it was nothing special. Wendy had made a picnic and they were going to drive up the mountains. The pair had found a favorite spot that overlooked the whole town, but it was only accessible in the summer when all the snow melted for a brief moment.
Kenny was waiting outside of Wendy's house in his truck, he had finally gotten around to changing the CD aim in his truck. He hadn't changed it, Wendy had put something else in, this time it was a Blink-182 album. Kenny thought it was a nice change from the blaring Judas Priest he had lived with for so many years, and it makes Wendy happy.
Wendy's front door opened and she walked outside. She held a bag in her hand and had a blanket tucked on her arm. She was wearing a yellow sundress that went just past he knees.
Kenny got out of the truck and opened the passenger door for her. "Hey, good looking." He said cheekily as she walked over to the car. They kissed softly and went handed him the blanket.
"I'm so excited for our date today." She climbed into the truck as Kenny walked back around to the other side.
He got in, "Let's get going then. There's nothing better than spending an afternoon with you." He replied.
Wendy cranked up the car's stereo as they pulled away from her house. The song Going Away to College was playing, the pair both singing along.
When it got to the chorus they both turned to each other, "The world's an ugly place, but you're so beautiful to me!" They both sang at the same time.
"I mean it too," Kenny added, laughing as he navigated his way up the canyon roads. The mountains were always beautiful, but today they looked a little more beautiful than Kenny remembered.
Once they had gotten to their spot, they had listened to the whole album. "Do you think it's almost time to put the Judas Priest CD back in?" Kenny asked as he turned off his car.
Wendy just laughed at him and she grabbed the blanket and climbed out of the car. Wendy spread the blanket over the soft, fresh grass and Kenny grabbed the bag containing their food.
He walked over and flopped down on the blanket laying on his back. Wendy was soon curled up next to him, resting her head softly on his chest. He put his arm around her and closed his eyes.
"You know I love you, right?" Kenny rubbed her back.
"I love you more," Wendy replied rubbing his chest. "Things are so peaceful when I'm with you."
"I wish summer could last forever." Kenny opened his eyes, "Summer is way too short here. When we're older, we've gotta go someplace warm."
"When we're older..." Wendy repeated back to him, in thought. "That's the first time you've ever made plans with me included in the future."
Kenny chuckled, "Surprised it took that long." He said back, "Don't you want it? Someplace nice and warm, a beach maybe. Imagine we're doing this and we can wharf the ocean waves crashing next to us. Simply paradise."
"I'd love that." Wendy smiled to herself, "Maybe we could get a beach house. You know those with private beaches. Our bedroom could be facing the ocean and every morning we could watch the sunset on the horizon."
"While fucking." Kenny added, Wendy snorted. "Was having sex, not in the future plans? Not just any sex, sunset set inside our beach house next to the water sex. Now that sounds like paradise."
"I guess it does sound nice." Wendy mused, kissing Kenny on the cheek softly. "But until then we have to create our paradise somewhere else."
"I think I've found my paradise," Kenny replied, turning on her side and kissing her softly. "It's whenever I'm with you."
Wendy just smiled as she pulled him back in for another kiss. The window blew softly through the trees as a summer breeze rustled the leaves. For Kenny and Wendy, all was right in the world.

HOLY SHIT IT"S THE END. I gotta be honest with you guys, I was gonna give up on this story a long time ago but thanks to my dear friend Skylar I decided to keep going and finish this story.
I started it when I was 15 and now I'm 21, I don't even watch South Park anymore (I hope it doesn't show in this fic too bad!) I've had so much fun going back and revisiting this story and giving it a proper ending.
To everyone who read, old and new, I wanna say thank you for taking the time. I know some of you guys have been here for the whole five years. At 89K words and 6 years of on and off again work, it was finally time for the story to come to a close. It's kind of like the end of an era, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't sad. Kenny and Wendy are like my babies.
I even made this playlist of Kendy songs I'd like to share with all of you (YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE SPACES TO GET THE LINK TO WRK, SORRY FANFICTION KINDA SUCKS): youtube . com playlist?list=PLz7DwTbGVEfjyYPaTuYRsyudd4ukhJypQ
I don't know if I'll be back on ever again or any time soon, but if you ever wanna check me out at mcwhoredick (Yes, just "mcwhoredick") on Instagram is always around. Thanks for coming on this journey with me, peace out!
