The trio flew above the path made by the Highbreed had cut through the fields like before, leading right where they need to be at. "Y'know, they might wreck the environment but at least they could make great roads.", Alex says with a chuckle as Charmcaster pointed ahead.

"There's some DNAliens down there, check it.", Charmcaster says as she was correct, there were at least a few of them. She then pointed away from the path to the array. "And I'm sensing that Highbreed over there."

"I'll deal with these guys and the Highbreed, you two go to the array. I'll continue on foot.", Alex says as he activated the Omnitrix and scrolled through his arsenal.

Charmcaster pinched the nape of his neck. "Absolutely not. You're still not completely recovered!", she says with worry evident in her tone.

"I'll be fine. Promise.", Alex says with a confident smile, Charmcaster looked at Tetrax who just nodded in silent agreement.

"Don't pass out in the middle of a fight.", Charmcaster remarks as Alex just shrugged.

"YEEYEE!", Alex yelled out with a southern accent as he leapt down, erupting in a green flash as the DNAliens lunged at him only to be knocked out by a steam of fire that caused them to scream in pain and drop to the floor as the two zipped away. "I'm hot and smelly motherfuckers!"

Blazemash just walked past the bodies writhing in pain as he perked up, he stood still for what seemed like forever before burrowing into the ground as a massive creature came leaping at him. He quickly poked his head out and immediately recognized the general species.

This was a Vulpinmancer, like his Watchdog transformation except... larger. It was long infected by a Xenocite, transforming it into a monstrous DNAlien on all fours, the quills that were once there had morphed into dangerously sharp spines. It let out a guttural roar as green saliva drips from its jaws.

"Looks like they had more than the overgrown tumor.", Blazemash ducked back down as the DNAlien-Vulpinmancer lunged at him before being launched high into the air by a massive pillar made of thick vines interwoven with each other.

Blazemash crawled out and propelled himself with a torrent of fire, he quickly dodged as the DNAlien leapt down snarling. As he moved he kicked its gills as hard as he could to disrupt its eye-less vision, the DNAlien screeched in pain as it collided head first into the hard ground.

Blazemash lowered himself down as his thick vines sunk back into the ground. "Even if it's a DNAlien, as long as it's the same species as Watchdog I can still fuck up your radar!", he flipped off the DNAliens before he strode off towards the direction of the Highbreed, or at least he thought so.

"Looks like aliens like Watchdog aren't as hard to control like Extinction's size growth ability. Thank god I didn't go through that at least.", Alex thought to himself as he bursted through a wooden gate with little effort, shortly after he found spines lodged in his stomach. "Ah shit."

Unsurprisingly, there were more Vulpinmancer-DNAliens, and apparently they can shoot out their spines like projectiles. "Neat.", Blazemash popped the quills out of his stomach as he jumped over a charging DNAlien, using their back as a springboard for him to jump over and drop kick the animalistic DNAlien.

Blazemash was suddenly frozen still in suspended animation by a DNAlien wielding that same device from before. Within a flash of green light he broke through, the DNAlien couldn't retaliate by freezing him again as it was sent flying with a light speed shoulder tackle. With two stabs to their stomachs each, the other two DNAliens were quickly taken out.

"I don't have time for this!", Drag Racer used his incredible speed to rush past the unconscious body, the sheer speed he was moving at made it impossible for any DNAlien to actually perceive him let alone touch him before they were incapacitated by the speeding blue blur. He followed stone path after stone path before arriving to a peak, his visor allowing him to see just the small bit of light radiating from some large object in the distance.

"I found it!", Drag Racer internally celebrated as he had located the ship, which appeared to look like the same one he dealt with a while back. He turned only to see a fruit bomb being thrown at him, he effortlessly dodged this by moving his head as he quickly found his legs were restrained by vines.

"FE-EEEED!", a new DNAlien type roared out, this one it looked a bit... different. He could recognize the Venus Flytrap-like collar from anywhere, this DNAlien was possessing a Florauna. It resembles the previous ones, having black flesh, a single eye and an exposed brain, unlike them it's body was shaped similar to a pitcher plant with massive fruits growing from its back, it had far more tendrils than ever along with gangly arms that had fruits growing from them.

"Looks like they're getting creative with the DNAlien types at least.", Drag Racer used his claws and sliced away at the vines by moving at super speed. He sped away the moment an explosive fruit was thrown at him again. The DNAlien roared and dug its tendrils into the ground, they emerged right in front of Drag Racer, causing him to slam into the surprisingly hard vines and stagger back.

Drag Racer saw the black flesh ripping as a mouth shot towards him, he quickly dodged and scowled underneath his visor. "Change of plans!", he erupted in a green flash, Sunburn taking his place as he unleashed a torrent of fire from his mouth at the DNAlien.

The plant-like alien's already existing weakness to fire combined with the Xenocite's aversion to fire made this attack especially deadly. It may be dumb, but it wasn't going to stick around for long to get fried and made its escape. "Ahhh I love me some Cajun cooking."

Adjusting his stance, Sunburn stopped on the ground and rocketed forward with that chunk underneath him surrounded by a fiery aura. Once he got into the air he spotted a crowd of DNAliens marching away from the ship. His fire burned not as he stood straight and got his feet to shoulder width, drawing his right arm back and bringing his left forward.

His fire morphed, sharpening and reshaping itself to resemble that of an arrow. And did a specific finger gesture that triggered it to go flying off, the ignited arrow soared through the air and crashed down in the middle of the DNAliens creating a massive and fiery explosion. The DNAliens that survived that sudden attack were quickly met with the same fate as another arrow crashed down and erupted in a violent burst of fire.

Admiring his handiwork from above, Sunburn descended and jumped off his rock platform. As he absorbed the excess fire he erupted in a red flash of light, pulling out his communicator he activated it. "I found the Highbreed Command Ship."

{{"Did you find the Highbreed?"}} Asked Tetrax from the other end.

"Not yet, but you can guess where he is.", Alex looked around the command ship and noticed something peculiar. "Looks like it's the focal point of the circuit patterns, maybe if I get it to take off maybe it'll breaks the circuit board and shut the whole thing down!"

{{"You're planning on taking an entire Highbreed Command Ship by yourself? Forgive me but thats not the best idea."}}, Tetrax says with concern.

"How so?"

{{"You've barely rested since that fight you had with Kolar, not to mention the fight with Tetrax you had before that one. Just come over to the Array, please."}}, Charmcaster remarks, her voice was tense but also stern.

"I know, if this doesn't work you'll still need to take down that Array.", Alex says as he slides down the slope and towards the Command Ship, thanks to the fact he already dealt with any guards he was pretty much free to find the entrance, and that he did. He was about to enter but heard a static crackle, Alex pulls out his communicator quickly and activated it. "Wassup?"

{{"Alex- go inside- Probably a trap-"}}, Tetrax's voice was continually interrupted by static.

"Must be interference from the ship." "Sorry Tetrax, but I can't hear you. I'll contact you as soon as I can.", Alex shoved the communicator into his pocket as the Omnitrix beeped to life. "Okay, now all I gotta do is find the controls, activate them with Kracklescean and get out before the ship takes off. Piece of cake!"

"Alex, do you copy! Do not go in! I repeat, do not go on!", Tetrax could barely hear Alex's voice before the communicator shut off. "Dammit.", Charmcaster patted Tetrax's back as he sighed.

"Should we help him?"

"No... if he can survive Kolar then he'll be fine.", Tetrax says as he pointed at the array which had a sort of prism shaped object floating in the center with energy sprouting from it. "The Array is nearly at full power, if we go now we won't be able to stop it. The control room is the thing floating above the array."

"How do we go about this?", Charmcaster asked as it had begun snowing already. "I can fly us up there.", she says as she began to hover with the aid of a pinkish blue aura surrounding her.

"That could work, but we would need to split up and destroy the force fields defending each one.", Tetrax pointed west. "Divide and conquer, you'll take down the one in the west while I go east. Circle around the nearest tower and destroy any equipment generating the forcefield and meet on the other side."

Charmcasters eyes glowed, she could sense Alex from her position. She let out a sigh and pinched the sore muscle that had long since healed. "He can take care of himself... let's go!"

Back within the confines of the Command Ship, Alex used Trench Monkey and his venomous bite to stun and subsequently trap any DNAliens he saw in his path. Whenever it was empty with not a single other thing in sight he'd transform back for a minute or two.

During one of his minute periods he walked into a... empty room, a surprisingly empty room with just crates along with control panel. "Huh... sweet!", Alex finally found a place to at least save up on more of his energy before moving on to the next set of DNAliens.

The moment he stepped in he had a gut feeling that he'd need to prepare for something he couldn't see, the hairs on the back of his head stood up as he stayed completely still. Focusing his hearing to at least pick up footsteps or something breathing, he took a few more steps before jumping away from his spot as a large creature landed down.

"CRUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHRRRUGH!!!", the newest alien roared out. Like the other two, he could recognize it's species. It had the build and height of Muscle Bound along with a set of arms baring dangerously sharp spikes, it possesses two pupils in one eye while also donning a wide tooth smile. "Come here, Alex.", the DNAlien goaded him with a warped voice as its tongue hanged out.

"Shit!", Alex quickly jumped out of the way as the creature launched itself towards him. He activated the Omnitrix and quickly slammed down before the brute could even attack him again, the moment it turned it was met with powerful green electricity.

Deadbolt held his fist up as he smirked, electricity crackling around him. "Don't looked too shocked!", the DNAlien let out a horrific roar as it's arms began to grow in size, the spikes growing along with them.

"Muscle Bound and his species are much more vulnerable to certain electrical attacks, my electricity would only slow it down.", Alex's thoughts raced as Deadbolt's accelerated synaptic activity took effect quickly. Before he could follow up he was hit in the back by a ball of fire, the brief moment of pause was enough for the DNAlien to rush forward and him square in the jaw and flying into the wall.

"Huh?!", His eyes widened as his jaw reattached itself, he looked down as his coils were magnetizing him to the metallic interior. This new DNAlien was by far the strangest, it looked like a regular DNAlien but gangly, it's body riddled with magma cracks and a head surrounded by flames. "How the hell..."

Before his confusion could settle in the massive DNAlien leapt up and tackled him through the hard metal that made of the walls and crashing onto a large platform attached to a pillar. Wind rushed past him as the two DNAliens landed in front of him, waiting for... something.

"They're... getting smarter? First Tetrax as one of them could speak perfectly fine, that house plant outside was smart enough to ambush me and these two are coordinated enough to do that shit... either the Highbreeds are doing something different or the Symbiotes are gaining some higher form of comprehension.", Alex didn't completely understand it but Deadbolt most definitely did, electricity surged around his arms and began shocking his muscles. The disgusting veins pulsed as his muscles tensed up.

The larger DNAlien lunged forward the moment it saw an opening, Deadbolt kept zapping his muscles before stopping and dodging a left hook to counter with an electrically charged punch to its gut. The combined result of his strengthened muscles and charged punch knocked the wind out of it, Deadbolt held it up to use as a shield the moment the fiery DNAlien began to unleash an endless stream of fire balls.

The DNAlien-Pyronite let out a demonic scream as it unleashed a torrent of flames from its mouth. Traces of blue fire were present as Deadbolt charged forward before blasting the infected Tetramand at the creature with thunderous force to knock the fiery creature into the large pit below.

The fans or engines raged on as Deadbolt's electricity ceased, his muscles relaxing finally. He looked down and could barely see the flames before it was consumed by darkness along with a loud metal thud after. "Good luck flying up with a thousand pounds of dude on your ass!-"

"That didn't come out right.", Deadbolt says as he looks over to the what he might think are jet engines, he slapped the Omnitrix on his shoulder and flew off as Cold Soar. He decided to keep going in his intangible state, as he was hard to spot without paying attention it was a lot easier.

Cold Soar landed in front of a blue column with a hollow interior along with a glowing blue vent as he had briefly noticed a DNAlien crawling out. He stepped in what he thought was an elevator but actually teleported to the control room.

"Ooooh, I'm gonna make sure Earth gets these things. Way better than elevators.", Cold Soar says as he erupted in a green flash and trotted forward as Kracklscean. "Now to activate the automatic piloting systems.", he says as he snapped his claws shut to begin his work.

Thanks to his vast intelligence he quickly figured out how to work the Highbreeds strange control console then almost instantly knew how to activate the autopilot. "Hmm... with intellect like this, this technology isn't that poor. Could use some modifications.", in order to activate the autopilot he would need to flip the panels on the ceiling, which can be achieved through Anti Gravity.

"YOU!", Kracklescean turned to the Highbreed that had appeared in the same teleporter. "It is you that has been has been tampering with our vessel! The umpire creatures of this planet chase much trouble for such an obviously inferior race, and you are by far the most troublesome of them all!"

Kracklescean simply chuckled as he snapped his claw at him. "That's what the teaching staff of my learning facility tells me. But I am remarkably charming once you get to know me.", a smug smirk formed on his face as he says this.

"Insolence!", the Highbreed charged forward, cocking his fist back and lunging it forward into a straight punch to his skill but was blocked by an electrical forcefield. "You shall suffer the consequences of meddling with the affairs of superior specimen!"

"Oh really, that's twice this night I've received similar threats.", Kracklescean quipped as his brain immediately went into calculating, his eyes drifted to three large tubes that were located on both sides of the control room. "Heat Exchanging Columns make sure to keep hotter air out of the ship to maintain the freezing temperatures. Expose Highbreed to heat for momentary weakness. Downloading plan to other forms..."

Kracklescean bursted his shield forward to knock the Highbreed back. Quickly imputing a code the Omnitrix flashed green, within that green flash the Highbreed began shooting its fingers at him rapidly. "No species in the universe is no match for the Highbreed!"

"Oh yeah?!", Sunburn bursted forward with a flying knee kick to its face. "Then prove it!", The Highbreed swatted the fiery alien away who quickly caught himself by flying.

"How- How dare you!", The Highbreed roared out as Sunburn simply moved out the way, forcing him to crash into the column and be blasted with heated air. Sunburn flew over and flicked the lever with a smirk on his face. "Keep your filthy hands off that!"

Sunburn simply lifted his leg up and unleashed a brief stream of fire as he gravitated to the ceiling. With two finger flicks he activated two panels before it quickly sent him back down. "Vile monkey! You will be exterminated.

"Eh you're close at least.", Sunburn scratched his head as he hovered in front of him, the Highbreed charged over and swung at him. Sunburn quickly sped out of the way and returned with a kick to its side, sending it staggering back before he followed it with another drop kick into a heat exchange column.

"Two to go!", Sunburn didn't even wait and just flicked a fire ball at another panel before he was tackled by the Highbreed, he was grabbed by his foot and slammed repeatedly into the ground.

"Soon we will rid this planet of your kind!", the Highbreed roared with anger as his body was steaming, Sunburn simply rolled his eyes as he fired at the rest of the columns while also raising his temperature to force him off.

"Graaah! You-! Inferior insect!", the Highbreed felt as if it was being burned alive, the heat was quickly getting to him as he heard another beep.

Sunburn stood in front of the control panel as a red flash erupted from Alex. "You're outta here, and as soon as you're out the Weather Array goes too."

"Keh... GHAAHAHAHA!!", The Highbreed began laughing maniacally as he stood straight, the cool air being enough to cool down his body despite the heat. "Your primitive Cerebrocrustacean form would've seen this coming. That inferior brain function of yours only proves further why you need to be extinct! Removing this vessel from the circuit grid does not deactivate the Weather Array, instead... it initiates once it departs!",

If the Highbreed had lips he would be grinning ear to ear as he activated a screen showing the outside perspective of the ship taking off. Alex felt rage boil inside him as he fell right into his hands.

"The last time we encountered you, you set our plans back months, years even! But now, it is you who have set our plans in motion!", the Highbreed towered over Alex as his claws sharpened. "You gathered the components needed for our weather array, made sure the array was activated in a timely manner... and you even dispatched of that Tetramand filth for us! And now-", he slammed a button on the console as Alex jumped back a bit the moment he did so but also heard something open from behind him. "Now you will watch your people freeze to death as our Array makes this portion of your planet suitable habitation for the one true race!"

The Highbreed snatched up Alex and threw him out of the open port he made. Alex plummeted to the solid dirt below rapidly as the ship soared into the sky, he looked at the recharging Omnitrix. "C'mon you stupid junk! Recharge already!", as if on cue the Omnitrix sounded its alert that it had recharge, but shortly after he erupted in a green light.

A crash was heard as he collided with the ground, deep groaning was heard as Wrecking Ball uncurled from his sphere form. "Ugh... well that works.", he looks over to the Weather Array with a scowl. "I screwed up big time... I gotta get over there and help destroy it before it's too late!", he leapt forward and sped off in his ball form, charging through the forest and towards the Weather Array.

Speaking of the Array, Charmcaster was using a speed enhancing spell to dispatch of the endless onslaught of DNAliens that came from seemingly nowhere. The ones she was used to and even some resembling Alex's aliens like Weedstalk, Muscle Bound, Watchdog and even Sunburn.

"ERADICO!", her hand lunged forward as a collection of them were blasted back by a powerful energy explosion. The four armed DNAlien was unbothered as it charged forward, she heard something charging up and sped out the way as a rapid fire of blue energy beams shot forward and into the DNAlien.

"Facio Gravis!", Charmcaster yelled out as blood was leaking from her nose, the Tetramand was sent into the ground by some unseen force. "Hah... now for the torrent!", she quickly zipped out of the way and used a shield to block any beams that managed to catch up.

"What would Uncle do?God I wish he was here...", Charmcaster couldn't go on, the spell had worn off and now she was simply shielding herself from the rapid fire, the DNAlien onslaught had ended for the time being which gave her enough time to catch her breath. "Wait... what would Gwen do?"

The thought of Gwen being there was something she didn't like all too much, her improvement rate was mediocre at best but her natural talent was incredible. The way she uses mana is also something she never thought of before, constructs ranging in complexity.

"Okay... let's try it.", Charmcasters shield began to expand and alter into a sort of prism, the beams hit this newly constructed shield and were immediately sent right back into the turret, blowing it to pieces. "Hmm?", she looks up as she could sense Alex approaching rapidly. "Thank Zoraster...",

She looked at the last generator that maintained the forcefield and sent one stream of directly mana an destroyed it. "Okay... that's done.", she pulled out her communicator and held it to her ear. "Tetrax, I've destroyed all the generators, guards and torrents that were protecting em. I'm heading to the rendezvous point."

{{"Understood, I'm nearly done here. I'll be there as quickly as I canafford."}}

"Gotcha.", she says as she wiped the blood from her nose and continued to the rendezvous point.

Towards the east, Tetrax used a combination of his natural abilities, weapons and skills to defend against the horde of DNAliens. Quickly unsheathing his glove he sent out a rapid fire at the turrets above, grazing one of the DNAliens as he rolled out the way of a slam from a Tetramand-DNAlien along with a tackle from a Vulpinmancer, the two met up at the middle and ended up knocking the other out.

Pulling out a grenade, he pulled the pin and threw it at a group of them. As it exploded he used the blinding light to destroy the generators, throwing his hoverboard down he flew up and withdrew his gun. As the DNAliens roared and attempted to attack they were quickly met with a massive explosion made by Tetrax's blaster.

Noticing one generator was missed, he quickly rectified that mistake and destroyed it. Sliding up his visor he detected another one very close, he sped towards it and as he passed by he unleashed a barrage of crystals that destroyed it. With that, the forcefield sputtered for a few seconds before vanishing completely.

He zipped past and noticed someone wearing purple in the distance, he went quicker and jumped down next to Charmcaster. "We've destroyed the forcefields on one of them at least."

"Yeah, but if that's the case there's still no way to get into that control room.", Charmcaster said pointing up at the prism shaped control room. "With the forcefield down, maybe we can destroy it."

"Possibly, but the sheer size of it would require both of our efforts to take down at least one of those towers.", Tetrax says as they looked behind them to see a familiar yellow orb roll up to them before unrolling. "Excellent timing, can you-"

Wrecking Ball held up his massive hand which gestured Tetrax to stop short of his incoming order. "I know exactly what to do."

"Really?", both Charmcaster and Tetrax asked as he simply smirked.

Wrecking Ball raised his fat hand and slammed down on the Omnitrix, shortly after the green flash Extinction stood there and grew to his full height. "I'm gonna hit it really fucking hard!", his voice boomed as he charged forward, his footsteps shaking the ground around him.

Charmcaster looked at Tetrax. "Well... it's not a bad plan.", Tetrax says as he didn't really see any fault with that besides the fact he'd need to go through them one by one.

Extinction rammed into one of the weather towers, denting it with his large head as he stepped on any DNAlien in his path. He climbed up the platforms, ripping through any turrets in his way as he made it to the top surprisingly quick. He looked over at the other Weather Towers and smirked, flashing sharp teeth as he crushed the ball like points of the tower which stopped a steam of energy keeping the control room stationary.

"Looks like I gotta hit em really REALLY fucking hard! I'm game.", Extinction comments to no one in particular jumped off as his weight crumpled the tower he stood on, as he was in mid air he shrunk back down to descend faster. The moment he reached the ground he charged through the forcefield generators and towards the second weather tower.

The turrets energy blasts along with the super powered DNAliens did little to stop his rampage as he simply smacked them aside with his mace-like tail. He let out a roar as he smashed right through the pillar that held up the platforms, it tilted before falling down directly onto the orb like structures and shattered them. "Two down!"

"Now for the grand finale!", instead of continuing his rampage he jumped up and transformed into Polar Opposite, flying up high into the air he aimed his claws at him. "Let's see if you can handle my magnetic personality!", ripples between his hands could be seen as he used his magnetic ability to lift it up completely.

With a smirk on his face, he tore the tower apart completely, breaking everything it had on there and slamming it into the ground along with the control room. He descended slowly and once he had his feet on the ground he detransformed. "There, alls well that ends well... or something."

"Don't be so hasty, the control room is still up and running.", Tetrax says as he walks past him, Charmcaster grabbed Alex by the arm and pulled him along. "We have to make sure this tech doesn't get back into their hands or anyone worse."

As he said this, they entered the now open control room and he began typing away at the controls. "Can you access the shutdown sequence from here?", Alex asked.

"I can do something better.", Tetrax says as he accidentally pulled up an image of blueprints showcasing an arch.

"Wait...", the sorceress narrowed her eyes as she recognized that shape. "That's that arch from Los Soledad. What's that gotta do with anything?"

"From what I've heard it's a Hyper Space Jumpgate.", Tetrax says as he pressed one last button, the glowing green turned into an ominous red as a countdown began. "Let's go!", the three quickly ran out of the control room as it neared its end.

The moment they stepped out it erupted, the shockwave was so powerful it sent them flying forward. "Maybe... just maybe, tell us you're gonna destroy something first next time!", Charmcaster shot up with an angered expression.

"Apologies.", was all Tetrax responded with as he stood up with Alex following him after.

Despite this, Alex just smiled. "Welp, how we don't have to worry about the alien tech for the most part! What day we call it a day and go grab something to ea-...", Alex stumbled for a second... before falling forward.

Charmcaster was quick to catch him in her arms, she used her magic to telekinetically lift him up. "Looks like all that action came back to bite him in the ass. I'll bring him home, you go back to the ship.", she says as they walked off. "Oh yeah... what do you think their up to anyways? They had super powerful DNAliens swarming the place."

"Considering it involves a Jumpgate like that?... nothing good.", Tetrax ominously states as he slid his helmet back over and teleported in a red light.

"Ugh... so much for conversation.", Charmcaster sighs as she and the passed out Alex vanished in a pink light.

The same pink light flashed in Alex's bedroom, startling his sleeping dog that immediately stood up but relaxed just as fast the moment he identified her scent. The large canine trotted over and licked her hand, she smiles and pets him in return.

Using her same telekinetic magic she slowly shut his still open door, still using this spell she took off both his jacket and shirt and tossed them aside. "Not a bad room honestly.", even though it was dark the moon shone through cracks of the blinds.

She carefully sets him on the bed, tilting her head in contemplation before taking off her robe and shortening her black suit into a tank top and a pair of shorts. Hope tied her hair up and laid down right next to him, smiling to herself.

"... Maybe Uncle Hex wouldn't mind me sleeping over once and a while."
