Back at the party, Flim Flam and Cheryl were being served more sodas and meals as well, while still waiting for Jayden to return.

"It's been over an hour now, should we go look for him?" Flim Flam asked.

"I'll just call him," Cheryl said.

She pulled out her phone from her purse and dialed his number.

Meanwhile, Jayden, still caught up in a conversation between him and the kids from his school, started to hear his phone ring.

"Sorry guys, I gotta take this. I'll be right back," he said to them, slowly walking away.

He then took out his phone and answered the call.

"Thank goodness you called me! What's up?"

"Jay, what's going on? Where did you go?" she asked, lowering her eyebrows in confusion. "We thought that you would be back by now."

"I was going to, but they won't leave me alone," he told her.

"What? What do you mean 'they won't leave you alone?'"

"They won't stop talking to me and even forced me to dance with them, despite me saying no multiple times," he explained. "Every time I've tried to end the conversation with them, they keep going on and on." He then let out a sigh of frustration. "It's just so exhausting. Cheryl, I think something might be wrong here."

"Well yeah obviously, there is something wrong with them," Cheryl commented.

"I know that, but what I'm trying to say is that there might be something wrong with the party. They never acted like this before tonight, and I don't know… I'm starting to get a bad vibe from this party. Between this and no adult supervisors showing up despite the fact that one of your friends said there was going to be…"

She sighed for a moment and nodded.

"Okay yes, I do think you're right," she agreed. "Something might be going on at this party, but-"

She was then interrupted by people gasping loudly behind her, and she turned around and stood up to see two teenage boys punching and fighting with each other.

"I told you to stay out of my way!" one of them exclaimed, and threw another punch at the other.

"Oh my gosh," Cheryl breathed.

"Hey, stop it you guys! Break it up!" Flim Flam exclaimed.

He then quickly ran over to the two teens and pushed them away from each other to stop the fight.

Jayden, meanwhile, made his way through the crowd and ran over next to Cheryl, gasping in horror as soon as he saw what was happening.

Flim Flam looked into one of the teenagers eyes for a moment, noticing that they were dangerously dull, and had blank looks in them.

That was it, as soon as he saw those eyes, he knew what this had to mean.

That they were falling under some sort of spell…

He then backed away from him in fear and went straight over to Cheryl and Jayden.

"I think they're under some sort of spell," he whispered.

"What!? Wait, how do you know?" Cheryl asked.

"They've got those blank and completely dull looks in their eyes. Jayden, you were right, something is wrong with this party, and I think this might have something to do with a demon."

"A demon possibly from the Chest Of Demons," Jayden said. "But wait a minute, none of us have the chest on us right now. So, how are we going to-"

He was cut off when everyone gasped loudly again as one of the teen boys tried to throw another punch, but at the three of them this time, only missing them by just a few inches.

"Alright, you know what? We can't deal with that right now. We've gotta get out of here, come on!" Cheryl told them.

They ran through the crowd together, stopping at the front doors. All 3 of them tried to open them multiple times, and yet, nothing was happening.

"We can't get out!" Flim Flam exclaimed. "Guys, what are we going to do?" he then sighed.

The others did not answer. They could only look around the room in uncertainty.

Phantazmo's spell was slowly being cast now, and it was only a matter of time before it would eventually get to everyone…

The midnight hour was getting closer at hand now as Velma, Shaggy, Scooby, and Asamad had successfully teleported onto the streets of LA.

"Alright, we're here," Asamad said.

"So, where do we find the party?" Shaggy asked, looking around, starting to shiver from the chill of the autumn air.

"Well, it can't be far from where we just teleported to now," Velma told him.

She then looked over at an empty street from around the corner.

"Maybe we should look down this block first," she suggested, pointing to it.

Shaggy and Scooby trembled, seeing how creepy the street looked in the darkness of the night.

"I suppose we should. Those 3 could be anywhere, and so could Phantazmo," Asamad agreed, turning to go in the direction of the empty street.

"Like, do we have to do that?" Shaggy gulped, as he stopped shivering for a moment to look up at him.

"Well, you both decided to come with us after all," he pointed out, looking back at them.

"Reah, we rid," Scooby shrugged.

Velma and Shaggy turned on their flashlights and Asamad used the crystal as a light source as they began to make their way down the street now.

They spent a few moments searching before Scooby started to pick up a scent from a few miles away.

"Hey, I think Scoob just picked up something!" Shaggy exclaimed.

"Is it Flim Flam, Cheryl, and Jayden's scent?" Velma asked.

"Rit is!" the great dane confirmed.

"This is great news! Which direction is it coming from?"

Scooby sniffed around in an effort to focus on the scent for another moment before raising his head.

"Rhat way!" he exclaimed, pointing straight ahead of them.

He started running, and the others immediately followed after him.
