Chapter 34 the Mandolore Plot
Kenobi was arriving at the Planet Mandolore to talk to the Duchess.
A couple days ago a man in Mandolorian armor had attacked a Legion cruiser before taking his own life rather than be captured.
While Many Mandolorians were part of the Legion who fought in the Clone wars no one knew who this one was.
Tarkin had speculated that the empire was behind this and believed perhaps Mandolore's leader was behind this.
No one had forgotten what happened years ago when she demanded Sean be executed when Krennic had revealed his identity as the son of Revan years ago.
Sean had suggested without hesitation she be arrested and brought back for questioning having a grudge against her for what happened.
However the Jedi council believed that sending Kenobi was a better option first to get some answers without having an incident.
Arriving at the palace Kenobi was greeted by the Prime Minister.
"Master Kenobi." Almec said.
"Prime Minister Almec." Kenobi said.
"I welcome you as a servant of the people. But I am troubled by the false rumors that brought you here." Almec said.
"You mean about her joining the empire?" Kenobi asked.
"Mandalore would never engage in such violence. The Duchess Satine values peace more than her own life." Almec said.
"Oh I'm aware of her views." Obi-Wan said.
"Master Kenobi, Mandalore's violent past is behind us. All of our warriors now technically serve the Legion because of Kruger's father. None would oppose you." Almec said.
"Are you so sure of that. Sean recently fought against a man in Mandalorian armor. Jango Fett." Obi-Wan said.
"Jango Fett was a common bounty hunter. How he acquired that armor is beyond me." Almec said.
"Well, Master Kenobi." Satine said making her presence known. "My shinning Jedi Knight to the Rescue once again." Satine as she sat down.
"After all these years, you're even more beautiful than ever." Obi-Wan said.
"Kind words from a man who accuses me of treachery." Satine said.
"I would never accuse you of anything. But a Saboteur attacked one of our cruisers. Wearing Mandalorian armor." Kenobi said showing the security tape in hologram form making her narrow her eyes.
"You must be mistaken. No Mandalorian would engage in such violence against the Jedi, Not anymore. Where is this prisoner?" Armec asked.
"He took his own life rather than face the Task force." Kenobi said.
"Every one of my people are as trustworthy as I am. Clearly your investigation was ordered because The Legion Senate is eager to intervene in our affairs." Satine said.
"The senate has little power these days. And this investigation was ordered by the Jedi council to prevent...Further issues." Kenobi said.
"I stand corrected. General Kenobi, Perhaps you would like to join me on a walk through the city." Satine said extending her arm before they left.
Soon the two were out walking through the city.
"Its so good to see you again, Obi-Wan, despite the circumstances." Satine said.
"Your peaceful ways have paid off. Mandalore has prospered since I was last here." Obi-Wan said.
"Not everyone on Mandalore believes that our commitment to peace is a sign of progress. There is a group that calls itself Death Watch. I imagine these are the ones who attacked your men." Satine said.
"So there are those who still fight against the Jedi." Kenobi said.
"Indeed. There those among us working to stop them." Satine said.
"How widespread is this Death Watch movement?" Obi-Wan asked.
"It's hardly a movement. Its just a small band of hooligans who vandalize public Property. We shall soon have them in custody." Satine said before looking guilty. "I don't suppose Kruger has forgiven me for what I said six years ago." Satine said.
"He wanted you arrested the second he heard of this." Kenobi said making her sigh.
"I should have known. Not that I blame him for his anger towards me." Satine said.
"What were you thinking when you barged in and said all that. To a child no less?" Kenobi asked making her sigh.
"I was so worried that when Mandolore learned that the one Jedi they respected and admired had a son they would flock to fight beside him and history would repeat itself. And in some ways I was right. The Clans of Mandolore did come to his vast growing army. Just not starting the war part. That I blame the Sith and Hiroshi for." Satine said.
"You can't just view someone for the sins of their parents. Thats unfair and in the end you may end up creating someone worse than the parents before them because you think they'll end up the same." Kenobi said.
"I know. And I know he may never forgive me." Satine said.
Meanwhile
A man In Mandalorian armor was talking to Malak through a hologram.
"I don't understand why the arrival of this Jedi doesn't upset you. You promised to Support the Death Watch forces so we could overthrow the Duchess Satine and her weak peace-loving government."
"And I intend to keep my promise." Malak said.
"But how? If the Legion interferes now, Death Watch will not be able to take over the planet."
"Consider, once the legion orders peacekeeping troops to Mandalore, the people will be surrounded by a military presence. Most Distasteful. They will rebel." Malak said.
"And rally to Death Watch. Our insurgency will grow stronger."
Meanwhile
"A peace keeper belongs on the front lines. Otherwise he wouldn't be able to do his job." Obi-Wan said.
"The work of a peace keeper is to make sure that conflict does not arise." Satine said.
"A noble description but not a realistic one." Obi-Wan said before an explosion went off.
"You all right?" Kenobi asked.
"Yes." Satine said before they checked to see if the people were safe.
"Hooligans couldn't have arranged an attack of this scale." Obi-Wan said.
"Then this must be the work of an offworlder." Satine said before Obi-Wan saw something.
"I wouldn't be so sure." Kenobi said seeing a holographic symbol floating.
"The sign of the Death Watch." Satine said.
"This goes beyond vandalism." Obi-Wan said before someone bolted and he followed.
Satine arrived in time to see the man just fall to his death willingly.
Arriving the man was muttering something in a dialect Kenobi were unfamiliar.
"What did he say?" Kenobi asked.
"He was whispering in the Concordian Dialect. Our moon." Satine said.
"I should very much like to visit this moon of yours. Perhaps I could accompany the body." Obi-Wan said.
"The Concordian moon is a province with its own governor. You'll need me to escort you there." Satine said.
"That won't be necessary." Obi-Wan said.
"Actually, it will. You won't get far without me there, especially since you've just been involved with the death of a Concordian." Satine said.
"I didn't kill him." Obi-Wan said.
"I know. Thats why I'm still talking to you." Satine said walking away making him sigh.
Later
Soon the three were traveling with the body to the moon.
"I thought Concordia was an agricultural settlement." Obi-Wan said.
"Before the end of our wars, they turned it into a mining base. The sheer number of mining facilities here nearly destroyed our forests. They're finally growing back." Satine said before they landed to drop off the body before a man known as Governor Vizsla.
"Duchess Satine. You are most welcome." Vizsla said.
"Thank you, governor. May I present to you Master Obi-Wan Kenobi of the Legion." Satine said.
"I take it you've heard of the rumors about Satine. About who she's supposedly leading Mandalore into an alliance with the Separatists." Vizsla said.
"My only intentions are to seek the Truth." Obi-Wan said as the body was carried in.
"This is the man who bombed the memorial Shrine?" Vizsla asked.
"Yes. He was apparently part of Death Watch." Obi-Wan said.
"A worrisome prospect. If you'll pardon me, we must attend to the body." Vizsla said before another ship landed inside.
"Oh dear." Kenobi said as Canderous soon walked off.
"Commander Canderous. A please to meet you." Vizsla said.
"Likewise. I'm only here to investigate since Sean felt Kenobi was going too slow. Or maybe it was because someone is stalling him." Canderous said narrowing his eyes at Satine making her sigh before Vizsla walked away.
"I need a favor from you. Please keep Governor Vizsla occupied at Dinner." Obi-Wan said to Satine and Sean.
"Where are you going?" Satine asked.
"I want to make sure these mines are truly offline." Kenobi said leaving.
"Why do I get the feeling we're gonna have to end up saving him?" Canderous asked.
Later.
"And I was right." Canderous said seeing Kenobi held upside down by ray shield. "So this is where Anakin gets it from. No wonder he needs to be rescued so much. He gets it from you." Canderous said making Satine giggle.
"Hardly." Kenobi said unamused.
"Oh I think so. After all you fell into a pit of Vicious animals once and he had to save you. Then theres the time you almost ended up as Sarlac food and same thing happened again. And then..." Canderous said.
"Ok I get it." Kenobi said as he was set free.
"So did you find anything Besides the obvious?" Canderous asked.
"The Death Watch us using the mines. And they are in league with the empire." Kenobi said before they went up an Elevator.
Only to come face to face with Death Watch.
"Shit." Canderous said before the Leader took off his helmet revealing him to be Vizsla.
"Governor?" Satine asked.
"For Generations my ancestors fought proudly as warriors agains the Jedi. Now that woman tarnishes the very name of our people." Vizsla said before pulling out a lightsaber of unique design. "This lightsaber was stolen from your Jedi temple by my ancestors during the fall of the old Republic long after Revan vanished. And I'll be using it to take down his sons." Vizsla said.
"Some other time." Canderous said pressing a button making them go down.
Later
"It's clear the Empire is backing the Death Watch. No doubt their trying to make up for losing Hiroshi." Canderous said.
"In which case the Legion will have to send some troops to keep the people safe." Kenobi said.
"I disagree. I don't want anything to do with this conflict." Satine said.
"I don't care what you want." Sean said walking to them with Korra, Sabine, Cara, Jade and Ghislaine.
"Kruger." Satine said.
"Consider yourself lucky that this predicament proved you're innocence. Otherwise you'd be in a small cell. Not like you don't deserve to be in one." Sean said making her frown as they walked to a cruiser.
"I can't say I didn't deserve that." Satine said.
"Give it time." Kenobi said before she spotted someone she wasn't expecting.
"Bo?" Satine asked making her look at her with a glare.
"I have nothing to say to you. Coward." Bo-Katan said walking to David.
"I didn't know you knew each other." Kenobi said.
"She's my sister." Satine said.
Later
The Cruiser was heading back to Coruscant to discuss Mandalore's place in this war.
Down below Mutant Sean was leading the troops incase the Empire decided to pull something.
"We all know our job. Make sure the Duchess reaches her destination. Death Watch will stop at nothing till she's either dead or captured." Mutant Sean said.
"Don't worry. My men are the best. They'll make sure nothing happens." Sandman said.
"I know." Mutant Sean said.
Up above
"War in intolerable. We have been deceived into thinking we must be a part of it. I say the moment we committed to fighting, We already lost." Satine said making Sean scoff.
"Excuse me, Your Grace, are you suggesting we oppose the war on humanitarian ground?" Merrick asked.
"I'm going to oppose it as an affront to life itself." Satine said.
"So what?" Sean asked getting her attention. "We should just roll over and let the Sith do whatever they please? Yeah. Thats what I expect from you." Sean said glaring at her from behind his mask making her flinch.
"Thats not what I meant. I simply mean that this war does nothing but take lives away." Satine said.
"All wars do that. You may think your ideals could solve everything easily because of your Delusions. But heres a true and harsh fact. Ideals are peaceful...History is Violent." Sean said.
"I know that." Satine said.
"Just keep your mouth shut. Probably the only thing you can do thats actually right." Korra said.
"Thats enough." Avatar Sean said stopping them as they left.
"What the hell did you do to piss them off?" David asked making Bo scoff.
"When your brother's identity was revealed she demanded he be executed." Bo-Katan said making him glare.
"Excuse me?" David asked.
"I wasn't thinking straight. I was worried history would repeat itself. I didn't want that so I acted on fear. I've long since known after I was wrong." Satine said.
"Hollow words from you the Coward. Remind me again. Why is our Sister not here?" Bo-Katan asked making her hold her head down in shame before she and David left.
"What did that mean? Other Sister?" David asked.
"A civil war broke out on our home world years ago. Most of our people were killed. Our Sister was a casualty from both it and her." Bo-Katan said.
"I don't follow." David said.
"A man had her at gun point and Satine had one aimed at him. But she refused to pull the trigger. Our Sister died because she wouldn't break her beliefs or be seen as a Hypocrite. So our Nephew has to grow up without both parents. And it is all her fault." Bo-Katan said.
"I see. I suppose I can see where that anger comes from. You blame her and rightfully so for not saving her sister." David said.
"Yeah. And she thinks her ideals will lead to peace. I know differently. Ideals are just ideals. You need to be realistic about life. Your Chairman makes his ideals Realistic because he's not afraid to do whats needed to keep people safe." Bo-Katan said.
Sean and Korra walked the halls to clear their heads.
"She hasn't changed at all. If I was anyone else I would leave her to die." Sean said.
"I know you still hold a grudge because of what happened 6 years ago but even you wouldn't let her stop you from doing whats right." Korra said.
"Maybe so. If my identity had been revealed when the Twins were born she would have just asked the same thing for them. She has no courage at all." Sean said as they made it back into the room with the others.
"And yet some might argue that the strongest defense is a swift and decisive offense." Obi-Wan said.
"You are quite the general now, aren't you, Master Kenobi?" Satine said.
"Forgive me for interrupting, Your highness, I meant no disrespect." Obi-Wan said.
"Really? Senators, I presume you are acquainted with the collection of half truths and hyperbole known as Obi-Wan Kenobi?" Satine asked.
"Your Highness is too kind." Obi-Wan said hiding his annoyance.
"You're right. I am." Satine said.
"Allow me to introduce my fellow Jedi, Anakin Skywalker." Obi-Wan said introducing his friend and former student.
"I remember a time when Jedi were not Generals, but Peacekeepers." Satine said.
"We are protectors, highness. Yours at the moment. We fight for peace." Anakin said making her chuckle.
"What an amusing contradiction." Satine said.
"What Master Skywalker means is that we are acting at the Behest of your Highness to protect you from the Death watch and the Separatists, who don't share your point of view." Obi-Wan said.
"I asked for no such thing." Satine said.
"That may be so, but a majority of your court did." Obi-Wan said.
"I do not remember you as one to hide behind excuses." Satine said.
"I do not remember you as one to shrink away from responsibilities." Obi-Wan fired back.
"She wouldn't know responsibility if it bit her in the ass." Korra said making Sean scoff.
"Oh and you two know perfect responsibility?" Satine asked making him glare.
"Perfect? No. I'm just as flawed as everyone in this room. Only difference between the two of us is I'm more than willing to admit my flaws. You hide behind your ideals to conceal what you are. A coward who refused to save her own sister when she had the chance." Sean said shocking her.
"Sean, thats enough." Kenobi said.
"No. She needs to hear this. You let your sister die instead of doing what anyone would do. Save her. But you did nothing. Tell me, Does your nephew know you're responsible for her death? That you had a chance to safe her but refused to do so?" Sean asked making her look away. "I didn't think so. How someone as pathetic as you ended up being the Leader of your people is beyond me. If your world was under attack you would do nothing. Thinking you could be peaceful instead of fighting back. You Disgust me." Sean said before he and Korra left as she let out a shuddering breath while Kenobi frowned.
Later
"That was truly unnecessary." Kenobi said to Sean.
"Do I look like I care?" Sean asked.
"I know you hold a grudge against her for what she said but..." Kenobi asked.
"Need I remind you she said I was going be nothing but a murdering monster like the Sith. Said my father was a vile beast despite the fact is the reason any of that happened was because another Sith was responsible for it. Claimed he raped my mother just to conceive an heir. You think I'm just gonna let that go?" Sean asked making him sigh. "I don't approve of Death Watch or their motives and I will make sure the people aren't subjected to a Military presence because I know it would cause problems. But I'm not doing it for her. I'm doing it for the people and those of the clans who fight beside us every day." Sean said walking into his quarters making Kenobi sigh.
Sean sighed as he sat down on his bed.
"You know it's kind of a turn on seeing you all mad." Sabin said.
"Wha?" Sean asked turning seeing her on the side grinning at him. "I'm not in the mood Sabine." Sean said before she took his mask off.
"I know. Wanna tell me whats going on between you two?" Sabine asked.
"When my identity was revealed because of Krennic...She barged into the Senate and demanded I be executed and went on a rant about a whole other bout of nonsense about him. Pissed me the hell off." Sean said.
"Oh. I remember that first part. But not the rest. So you hold a grudge against her for saying all that. But yet here you are helping her and her people. My People." Sabine said making him sigh.
"I'm doing this for the people not her." Sean said.
"It's the same and you know it. Try being in her position. Your whole world was destroyed because of a civil war and you were left to rebuild it. And then you learn the one person who the people respected and yet caused so much destruction had a son. How would you feel?" Sabine asked.
"I wouldn't care. I would just focus on the here and now and worry less about something that may not even happen. If you worry about the future so much your bound to make it happen if you can't see someone for someone they aren't. Making blind accusations against someone because of their parents...Always dooms you to make what you fear...And then regrets it forever. I don't do that." Sean said before an alert came in. "What?" Sean asked.
"We got a situation here. There are assassin droids on board." Anakin said shocking him.
"How?" Sean asked.
"I don't know. We stopped one but another made it up the lift." Anakin said making them rush off.
In the dinning hall everyone was eating when it barged in before Sean threw his lightsaber at it cutting it in half.
"Thats the end of that." Sabine said before smaller ones came out.
Only for Sean to use force lightning on them.
"Insects." Sean said before another communication came through. "What?" Sean asked.
"We just got some information from the Cargo droid. One of our Senators is a traitor." Anakin said.
"Hmm." Sean said before spotting one left alive before picking it up. "I got an idea for that one." Sean said walking to the Senators with it.
"What do you think you're doing?" Satine asked in shock as it reacted violently towards Carrera.
"Now love, is this some new Torture kink you have?" Carrera asked sexually making him groan.
"Thats just wrong. NO! I'm trying to expose a traitor. One of you is the traitor who smuggled those things in." Sean said before it really acted violently to Satine making her frown. "Not surprised on that reaction." Sean said before it acted calm to one and only one.
"Senator Merrik." Sean said.
"Really, Commander...You're quite clever!" Merrick said smacking it up releasing the droid before Sean stomped on it. Merrick put Satine into headlock.
"Your coming with me." Merrick said making his escape.
"Well, that just figures." Sean said before activating the comms. "Tal Merrick is the traitor. He's taken Duchess Satine hostage." Sean said on the comms.
"We've just finished our sweep down here. We'll be up in a minute." Anakin said.
Merrick made his way to the control room before firing on all the crew.
"Monster! You're a horrid monster!" Satine yelled.
"Get used to it." Merrik said before using the comms before Vizsla appeared. "Commander I have the Duchess but I'll need help getting off." Merrick said.
"Reinforcements are on their way." Vizsla said.
Suddenly Droid boarding parties hit the ship sending in Super Battle Droids.
"Why am I not surprised." Sean said as the remaining troops got armed as Obi-Wan ran to him. "You go find your dumb girlfriend and I'll handle this." Sean said leading the troops.
"Right...No, Sean, She's not my..." Obi-Wan tried to say but sighed and went to find her.
Obi-Wan entered the control room seeing Merrik with Satine.
"Tal Merrik, you are under arrest. Release the Duchess." Obi-Wan said.
"Oh I don't think so. I took the liberty of wiring the engines to explode. I press this remote and we all die." Merrik said.
"Obi, if you any respect for me, you will not put so many lives at risk." Satine said as Merrik dragged her out to the pods that brought the Droids.
Merrik made his way back to the pods with Obi-Wan following.
"Say farewell, Duchess." Merrik said.
"Obi-Wan, it looks like I may never see you again. I don't know quite how to say this, but I've loved you. From the moment you came to my aid all those years ago." Satine said.
"I don't believe this." Merrik said in disgust.
"Satine, this is hardly the time or place for..." Obi-Wan said before looking at her. "All right. Had you said the word, I would have left the Jedi order." Obi-Wan said.
"This is making me sick." Merrik said making Satine scoff.
"You have the romantic soul of a slug...Merrik!" Satine yelled stomping on his foot making him yell in pain. "And Slugs are so frowned upon."
"Interesting turn of events. But even if I don't return with the Duchess I still win. The second I'm away I'll destroy this ship and everyone on it." Merrik said.
"I will not allow that!" Satine said.
"I'm supposed to believe you would shoot me? You couldn't even pull the trigger to save your own sister. You can't do it now." Merrick said before aiming at her.
"She won't. But I will." Sean said behind him before snapping his neck as Satine threw the gun away.
"I'm surprised you would save me." Satine said making him sigh.
"Satine, let me make this clear. I hate your guts for the shit you said six years ago. But...I don't want you dead cause your people do need a leader. And despite your dumb ideals that are just ideals...You do look after your people. And thats good enough." Sean said leaving making her sigh.
Later
The cruiser soon landed where Organ and Tarkin were waiting for them as they got off.
"A job well done my friend." Organa said.
"I do my best." Sean said walking away seeing Satine with Obi-Wan.
"How Ironic to meet again only to find we're on opposing sides." Satine said.
"The needs of your people are all that matter. They couldn't be in better hands with you to guid their future." Obi-Wan said.
"Kind words indeed from a mindful and committed Jedi. And yet...I'm still not sure about the beard." Satine said. (Oh good lord)
"Why? Whats wrong with it?" Obi-Wan asked.
"It hides too much of your handsome face." Satine said before walking to the others.
"A remarkable woman." Anakin said.
"Indeed." Obi-Wan said.
Later
"Though I know Mandolore has no official ties to the Sith Empire It is clear that Death Watch has become a great threat." Organa said.
"Mandalore is making great strides to find the leaders of this terrorist movement. They are not powerful enough to destabilizes our government. We will resolve this without conflict. If the Legion gets involved in our affairs it will only lead to further violence. Thus I shall reassert our position of neutrality." Satine said.
"The simple words of an idealist." Tarkin said.
"No, those are the words of a pacifist and a people who have chosen non-violent action." Satine said.
"That may be true. But this on the other hand makes things very concerning." Organa said playing a message from someone from Mandolore.
"Who is that?" Sean asked.
"Minister Jerec. He's an old friend and he would never say such lies for the record." Satine said.
"Legion intervention is beyond required." Jerec said.
"No, something here isn't right. I wish to speak to Jerec at once." Satine said.
"Sadly however I'm afraid thats not possible." Organa said.
"Why not?" Satine asked.
"He was killed in a Death Watch bombing shortly before this was delivered." Thrawn said shocking her.
"That is rather suspicious I'll admit. He dies shortly before this was delivered." Sean said.
"I happen to agree." Tarkin said.
"While this message is concerning it does raise questions since the timing is too close. Therefore I can hold off the Senate vote until we can determine if this is a fake...Or the real message." Organa said.
Later
Sean was in his home before seeing Junior taking his first steps to him making him smile as he picked him up.
"Hey buddy." Sean said.
"Dada." Junior said making him chuckle before his communicator went off.
"Yeah?" Sean asked.
"Kruger. I need your help." Satine said in urgency.
"What do you want?" Sean asked not in the mood.
"I need your help. I can't explain at the moment." Satine said.
"Call someone else. I don't have anything to gain by helping you." Sean said.
"Listen to me. I know you hold a grudge and rightfully so. But the last thing I know you'd ever want to do is turn away from someone in need of help." Satine said making him sigh.
"True. Where are you?" Sean asked.
Later
Sean had Met up with Satine in an alleyway.
"Whats going on?" Sean asked before she showed him a recording of Jerec. This one was the real recording. "Where did you get that?" Sean asked.
"An old friend found it buried. He claims Someone in the Legion edited the fake one to get the Legion to send troops to Mandolore. And before you deny it you clearly know there are questionable people there." Satine said.
"I wasn't gonna deny anything since even I know no government is perfect. Hmm. Why would someone make a fake recording to make us send troops?" Sean asked.
"I was wondering the same thing since it doesn't make much sense. It divides Legion forces." Satine said.
"Hold up. Beskar Ore." Sean said.
"The old metal used for Mandolorian armor. What of it?" Satine asked.
"It's one of the most powerful metals in the Galaxy. Only one other Metal from another Universe is stronger than it. Adamantium. But Mandolore is full of it. What if someone wants to use the occupation as a smokescreen to steal as much as possible?" Sean asked making her frown.
"You really think so?" Satine asked.
"Oh yeah and...Son of a bitch! I know who's behind this!" Sean yelled pissed off.
Later
Krennic grunted as he was punched in the face hard into a wall.
"You have crossed the fucking line." Sean said.
"I don't know what your talking about!" Krennic yelled.
"SHUT IT! You edited that recording when you learned Jerec had been killed knowing you could use this to your own means. You wanted to invade Mandolore just so you could pay some of the men off to steal as much Beskar metal as possible!" Sean yelled as everyone glared at him.
"So what? We could do whatever we wanted if only you had the spine to do so. We could have just drafted millions of people into our armies but no. You're too soft." Krennic said before grunting as Sean punched him in the stomach.
"I've had it up to here with your bullshit. After your last punishment I thought you would have learned your lesson. But I guess your incapable of learning. You are officially no longer part of the Legion." Sean said shocking him.
"NO! YOU CAN'T DO THIS!" Krennic roared as he was dragged out.
"I am truly sorry about all this. There will be no occupation of Mandolore." Organa said to Satine.
"Thank you." Satine said as everyone but Sean and Satine left.
"Your committed to keeping your people safe. I'll say that much." Sean said about to leave.
"Wait. Can we at least talk?" Satine asked making him sigh before sitting down. "When I barged in the Sante all those years ago...I acted out of fear. I kept having the worst ideas that history was going to repeat like his days. And I wasn't thinking straight till after it happened. And my actions have haunted me for many years." Satine said.
"Maybe so. But if you let your fears consume you...You'll eventually make them real if you keep thinking the worst. It's happened several times in the past. We need to see the better in people...Otherwise what you fear will come to pass." Sean said leaving.
Later
After Krennic was sentenced to life in prison Mandolore was allowed to remain neutral within the War.
"So Krennic wanted troops to go to Mandolore and to have some paid off to take as much of this metal as possible?" Shepherd asked.
"So it would seem. I can't say I'm surprised he would pull this. After that stunt on Geonosis I thought he learned his lesson but clearly he can't think about anyone but himself." Sean said.
"What about the Metal? Is there any chance it could be manufactured in the Star Forge?" Odin asked.
"If we had samples of it in raw form but..." Sean tried to say before an alert came through. "What is it?" Sean asked.
"We have a delivery from Mandolore from the Duchess." A clone trooper said.
"Send it in." Sean said before it arrived showing a large chunk of said Raw Metal before seeing a note with it.
'I know This probably doesn't fully make up for my actions all those years ago but Perhaps this could be a start to repair the damage. I have faith you can use it well.' The Note read making him grin.
"Apology greatly accepted." Sean said.
"Is more than enough to make more?" Shepherd asked.
"Oh yeah. Have it delivered to the forge. They'll make more of it with this amount." Sean said.
