Hello again everyone, remember me? Thought not... But here's an episode anyways, hope you have fun reading it.
Episode Review Reply time!
SoSincity (Formerly TurboTheRaichu): Morgan's elimination genuinely could not be stopped, I'm really sorry about this. You seem to have really bad luck with whoever you go for, sorry about that.
I'm happy you're enjoying Lauren, she's a character I've been excited to show more of the villainous side of (Well, a proper villainous act anyways,)
We'll just have to wait and see if your luck comes into play here at elimination lol.
Hope you enjoy this episode.
Let's begin the episode now!
The camera fades to Chris smirking on the docks of Earth Island. "Last time on Total! Drama! Elemental Islands! The remaining campers took to the skies on Fire Island, dodging hoops and attempting to knock their fellow contestants off the platform." As Chris says this, clips show the remaining fourteen campers at Fire Island and the clash between Katrina, Nadia and Jake.
"Bob and Susan both had to deal with blackmail levied against them by other campers and both of them did so in different ways," The example used for Bob is a short montage of all the members of the Electric Tigers he took out in the challenge, while Susan's is her talking with Jake and Nadia after the challenge.
"Bob's vote against Megan was revealed when Tegan confronted him and he accidentally outed himself in front of Jemma."
"Tensions on the Tigers boiled over after they lost the challenge and even though they mostly agreed on sending home Morgan, he left them with a gift that broke the friendships on the team. Telling them about Susan's old plan to trick some of the members into an alliance. This, alongside some previous nudging from Lauren, caused the team to turn against Susan, putting her from near the top, to the bottom." The last episode's elimination is then shown, with the gasps from Morgan, Myron and Carol, Morgan's reveal and Lauren's subsequent waterworks, and then Susan sitting on the beach.
"With everything that's happening, who will go home today? Will Bob be somehow able to explain his side to Jemma? Will Susan be able to get the team back on her side? Find out today on TOTAL! DRAMA! ELEMENTAL ISLANDS!"
Opening Guitar Riff:
The intro starts with the rock theme that is known so well to Total Drama fans, before a camera pops out from under some water, a microphone comes from the side towards some ground that hasn't been touched by raging fire around it. A light turns on from the side of a cave, illuminating it and a second camera pops from the bottom of a chunk of land floating, with a gopher holding on to it.
Dear Mom and Dad I'm doin' fine,
The camera zooms past the dock speeding through the elimination area and the cabins before it goes towards one end of the island.
You guys are on my mind.
The camera goes past Chris arguing with Don before it zooms into the sky showing all five islands and zooms to Water Island.
You asked me what I wanted to be
On Water Island, Hannah and Tegan, both in Scuba gear, attack each other angrily. Meanwhile Jake and Nadia find a yellow rock before Nadia turns around and angrily yells at the two fighting above.
and now I think the answer is plain to see,
Inside a cave on Earth Island, Myron, Megan and Carol walk inside, with Carol holding up a comic book and excitedly commenting on it to a not interested Myron and Megan, who look at each other worried about the cave.
I wanna be famous.
Susan writes in a small notebook furiously while making a small smile before she looks at the camera and smiles and waves at the camera.
I wanna live close to the sun,
Inside the confessional, Lauren looks around excited before she looks at the camera and makes a determined smile to the camera.
Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won,
On Air Island, Bob punches a punching bag clean off what was being hanged, while Jemma watches and writes something on her notepad before a bear comes out of the bushes and prepares to attack them, which scares both of them.
Everything to prove, nothing in my way
Xavier is seen showing Gary a few costumes, first a cowboy costume where he's swinging his hat on his finger, then a 1930s mobster suit and making finger guns and finally a rapper costume where he pretends to rap. Gary isn't paying attention and instead makes a small smirk
I'll get there one day.
Fire Island appears with Richard standing there bored before he looks at the camera
Cause, I wanna be famous!
Morgan then runs over and pushes him over so he can appear in the camera lens. An angry Rory then runs over and helps up Richard, who just sighs and shrugs.
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!
Back at the dock of Base camp, Alfred looks at the camera, a smug smile plastered on his face before he starts bossing around a couple of interns, including Katrina who was chatting with them before. Katrina and the interns get annoyed and push him into the water, the resulting splash of water covers the camera and the time changes to night.
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous (Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!)
Rory and Susan look at each other lovingly before they lean forwards, only for Chris to get up and blast his megaphone, making them jump back in surprise, Susan puts her hand on her heart in shock and Rory holds his head, as the camera zooms out to the rest of the campers whistling the closing notes of the song.
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
The episode begins where the last episode ended off, Bob and Carol having walked a decent distance away from the cabins. Both campers sit down at a bench before Bob opens his mouth and begins.
"Sorry about being so distant last challenge," he admits, "Things got a bit weird and I just want to say I'm sorry for getting mad,"
"All good, at least you apologised right? Takes a strong person to admit they did something wrong." She says before under her breath she bitterly comments, "A very strong person indeed,"
"I guess," Bob comments, looking conflicted, Carol does notice this when she looks up and says,
"What's wrong?" Bob looks over and thinks for a second before saying,
"Alright, you're trustworthy, I'll tell you… But you have to promise, nobody can know about this."
"Of course!" Carol says, putting her hand out to shake, Bob complies,
"So… You know how you have all the superhero stuff and how people say you're weird because of it?"
"Definitely," Carol says, unsure where this is going,
"I have my own thing too, give me a second," He then runs back towards the Frozen Lion's cabins. About a minute later he comes back, showing a plush giraffe. "This is Melvan," he comments, to Carol's momentary surprised face,
"A plush?" Carol asks before her face goes back to neutral and she shrugs. "Yeah that's fine," she says, "I don't think anyone's gonna start making fun of you for having one, DJ had one when he competed."
"I talk to them," Bob replies, "Guess that makes me a child or something," he replies,
"That's not all that bad, look, people may treat you like jerks because of it, but you really shouldn't want to be friends with those kinds of people anyways," she states,
"I guess," Bob replies, "You've made friends with people in the game though and they could be using you to get further,"
"Please… Please don't mention that kind of thing," Carol quickly says, to which Bob's eyes go wide.
"My bad," he says, "Look, I just want to tell you about a hypothetical situation, and I want your thoughts,"
"Alright then," the Comic Reader replies.
"Okay, so let's say you're me, some jerk from your school stole one of them and threatened to destroy it if you don't help him with his assignment. How would you approach that?"
"I'd say think up good places to look at for where they're hiding it and then try to find it. I remember in Scorpion-Man issue #492 Professor Squid kidnapped Perry Parker's Aunt and told him to work with him or she'd get whacked. Perry agreed but did some investigating before the first crime he was forced to do and saved his Aunt right when the Bank would have been robbed. Then managed to stop Professor Squid before he succeeded in robbing the bank!"
"Okay," Bob replies, eyebrow raised,
"I uh, I mean don't do the punching bit obviously, you'd probably be kicked out if you attack someone too many times or brutally enough."
"Fair," Bob replies, "I think I do get what you mean,"
"That's a relief… I was kinda worried the comic example would be a bit obscure or something," she then chuckles.
"It's fine," Bob says with a small smirk. The giant looks over at the Superhero Nerd and after she sighs, Bob replies.
"What's wrong with your side of things?"
"Nothing much. I'm just kinda sad about last elimination, but it's alright."
"Well alright, if you want to talk about it then I'm here to listen."
"Cool." Both stare at each other for a few moments before Bob starts to walk away.
"Okay, sorry for waking you up, just had to get that off my chest."
"It's fine!" Carol replies smiling, "Just like you just said, if you want to talk to me about anything then I'll listen to you."
"Cool," Bob says, "We should probably get to sleep though."
"I mean, I'd be alright staying here the whole night," Carol replies looking downwards with a smile.
"I'll go back to bed now," Bob replies, somewhat confused, "Good luck in the next challenge,"
"Right back at ya!" Carol replies, her face making a small, smirk. "Remember, we have more team members than you!"
"I mean, we did win the last challenge, it's only a matter of time before we tie," Bob replies smirking right back.
"Sure! Keep telling yourself that!" Carol winks. As they start to walk off from each other, Bob looks up.
"And Carol…" The Giant quickly says, turning around to look at the superhero fan.
"Yeah?" Carol replies quickly, leading to an awkward couple second silence from the duo.
"Thank you for listening to me…" The giant turns around and walks away.
"N-no worries," Carol replies, her face going red, with a small smile. She then turns around and speed walks back towards the hotel. Bob thinks for a second.
Confessional:
"First of all, I'm just going to say it now just in case things start being said but Gary doesn't go to my school," Bob comments, "But telling Carol about the situation without actually mentioning the situation that is currently actually happening did help clear my head, gotta think of potential hiding spots Gary's got him in. Can't focus on feeling too bad or mad for now,"
Confessional Ends:
The scene changes to the next day, with Susan eating breakfast by herself, Myron walks downstairs and notices her,
"What are you doing down here so early?" Myron asks in an accusatory tone, before switching to a smirk, "What? Here to poison our drinks or something?" He chuckles to himself as Susan shakes her head and sighs,
"And why would I do something like that?" The Brainiac replies, more confused than anything else.
"I mean, with everything else you've done so far this season, seems par for the course." Myron's sly reply causes a look of disgust from Susan.
"Do you honestly believe I would do something that dumb? Seriously, what would compel me to do that?"
"Less competition?" The Nerd replies with a shrug, Susan simply says,
"Seriously? One mess up and you guys seriously think I'd do something like THAT!?"
"Mess up, you're funny," Myron sarcastically laughs.
"Do you really hate me this much? I mean, seriously?"
"For someone smart like you, I'd expect you to actually y'know… Know what sarcasm is?" Myron replies, somewhat annoyed.
"Alright fine, I get it…" She says.
"I doubt you would this fast." Myron replies, "Anyways, even if you did that doesn't really make what you did forgivable in any way."
"Alright then…" Susan says, focusing back on her breakfast and finishing the last couple spoonfuls before standing up to leave.
As Susan is finishing, Carol, Lauren and Nadia arrive downstairs. "Uh, hey," Susan quickly says.
"Yeah, hi," Nadia comments, though Carol and Lauren both just look on with sad expressions. Susan sighs and walks away, with nobody watching her. As she walks away, Lauren's frown drops and she turns her head and smirks at the Brainiac, causing her to stop for a second and look annoyed for a moment. This is stopped when she looks over to see Rory travelling down with a tired expression on his face and slumping onto a chair to get himself breakfast.
Since last night Rory's knuckles have been bandaged and noticing that and his sad expression, Susan simply looks down sadly and walks out the front door of the spa hotel. Rory simply sighs.
Confessional:
"Last night I was angry," Rory admits in a flat voice, "Today? I just feel like I have a hole in my heart…" He then sighs again.
Confessional Ends:
"Hey dude, how's it going?" Myron asks,
"I… Don't really feel like talking right now," Rory replies before he pulls over a bowl of gruel and starts putting some on his plate." Myron simply looks down sad as Nadia walks over and pats Rory on the back before looking at Myron and saying,
"Hey, over here,"
Myron and Nadia travel to a corner of the room before Nadia quickly says,
"Wanna be in an alliance with me and Jake? Susan's our first target"
"Definitely," Myron replies, before he quickly says, "On one condition,"
"Alright, what?" The Hot-Blooded replies with a shrug,
"If we somehow go on a losing streak, Rory stays until our team's final four." Nadia pauses for a second, looks back to the forlorn jock and turns back.
"Sure," she says, holding her hand, Myron takes it and they shake. Both then walk away with Nadia sighing in relief several feet away.
Confessional:
"In all honesty, while I don't like Susan, and I do think Morgan's points were true," Nadia starts, "Lauren's stuff was probably bull. However, I know that defending the unpopular one sinks your popularity as well, and if I can make sure I survive the next elimination by making sure to get Susan out, then I consider that a win in my books." She folds her arms and says, "Look, outside of a very specific few challenge-performance based eliminations, Total Drama is pretty much a popularity contest, and if I can be in the best position socially then that pretty much gives me a ticket to the finale with hopefully Jake."
Confessional Ends:
Jake walks down the stairs next with a stretch, "I'm just going to go on a walk, I'm a bit more tired than normal,"
"Yeah,"
"Cool,"
"Sure,"
Carol, Myron and Lauren all reply in unison in uninterested tones.
Jake continues to stretch and yawn before stepping outside, taking a few steps away from the cabin, and slipping away.
Walking down the campsite, the Leader looks around before noticing Susan, simply sitting down in a field with a few blades of grass in her hands looking out at the sky. Jake comments "Bingo," before jogging over to the Brainiac. After noticing him, Susan folds her arms in annoyance and quickly and sarcastically comments.
"What? Are you going to make a joke at my expense? Tell me that I'm going home? Or just tell me how disappointed you are in me, lets get this over with fast."
"None of them actually," Jake shrugs, "Look, something seems weird about last night's elimination, and I want your side of the story,"
"Seriously? Or are you turning this into a way to have a go at me?" Jake accepts her annoyance before continuing to talk.
"Nope, I'm going to hear you out and make up my mind on how this situation went," The leader smiles, "It's important to get both sides."
"Okay then," Susan replies with her arms folded, "Sorry, I'm not used to a person on this team listening to what I have to say," Jake nods at her comment. "Firstly, thanks for being the first person to actually listen."
"No worries," Jake replies before Susan continues.
"I'm not going to sugarcoat it, but originally I was playing Rory and Carol, but that was for a whole one episode. After the bear hunt, the friendship was genuine on my end too."
"Hmm," Jake replies slowly with an eyebrow raised, "That's given you a few points, but still, playing them at all is pretty bad. What about the stuff with Lauren?"
"I was considering forming an alliance with her, but she came to me first and asked, this was right before Richard's elimination if you're wondering. We never really met up after that but our alliance was still a thing and she wasn't my main target for the moment. The whole point about me playing her is completely false."
"Alright then…" Jake replies stroking his chin, "In that case, I want to hear more about the Morgan situation, what happened with him?"
"Ok, so he was blackmailing me, but he wanted me to target Carol, and I wasn't going to do that."
"Yeah?" Jake begins, "Because of your friendship I'm guessing?"
"Exactly," Susan continues, "I honestly thought she was my best friend in this season, at least so far. I still want that to be the case, but yeah…" Jake looks at her before saying
"I do appreciate your seeming honesty, but I want to know, why should I completely believe you're telling the truth after everything that came out last night?"
"Because I can only really be honest," Susan replies with a conflicted face and a look to the side, "the rest of the team hates me now, why would I risk alienating you too if you catch me lying considering you're the only one so far that actually wants to hear me out?"
"Alright, good point," Jake replies with a nod, "I'll think about it, then I'll get back to you after the challenge with my thoughts,"
"Alright then," The Brainiac replies with a nod.
Confessional:
"In all honesty, I could have lied to him," Susan replies, a dull expression on her face. "He might have even believed the lie I gave. Keyword, might. I'm not taking that risk."
"That's given me a decent amount to think about," Jake replies, "Plus now I don't have to think of the Xavier situation for a bit!" He smiles but continues, "In all seriousness, I do think she was dealt a bad hand at elimination and her side can help me figure out what to do next."
Confessionals End:
Over with the Lions, Xavier stands back, taking a sip of a cup of coffee and simply watching the team exiting after waking up. Katrina's already eating breakfast and an angry Jemma and Tegan are exiting the cabins.
Gary also leaves the cabin and walks over to Xavier, not even bothering to whisper and saying, "Alright, so just to make sure you know, it's Jemma next time we lose."
"Well, maybe we should focus on winning the challenge fi-" Xavier is cut off by Gary
"Yeah, yeah whatever, just make sure to vote Jemma alright? Cool, thanks!"
Xavier opens his mouth and starts to say "Actually, I-"
"Yeah, cool. Glad we could agree on this." Gary then walks off with a smirk.
The method actor leans against the wall of the cabin, deep in thought.
Confessional:
"Okay." Xavier begins, "Gary is starting to get on my nerves a little. He's just starting to be this massive, self-righteous jerk and it feels like he's only aligned with me because I'm an extra vote. I mean, getting overconfident is one thing, he's pretty much got control of the team, but ever since he got it he's just been a full-on jerk! I was gonna say stuff that might help, but did he even let me finish? Nope!"
Confessional Ends:
Xavier's attention is then drawn to Bob, who starts walking behind the cabins. Unfortunately for the giant, a voice calls out to him. "Bob, we need to talk." Bob puts his hands in his pockets and takes a deep sigh before he turns around to see a furious Jemma walking up, a very smug Tegan in tow. The journalist asks, "So? Do you have anything to say to defend yourself?" Bob seemingly shrinks,
"What for…" The giant replies, already knowing and dreading the answer.
"You know exactly what," Jemma replies, "Why did you flip on us? I thought we were friends!" Bob cringes at her reply and says,
"Believe me, I want us to be… But I was forced into it…"
"Forced into it?" Jemma's responds, voice filled with venom, "People aren't forced to betray their friends."
"I was," Bob replies with a slightly annoyed frown, "I had no choice."
"THERE IS ALWAYS A CHOICE!" Jemma yells furiously, "EVERYONE HAS A CHANCE TO BACK DOWN FROM ANYTHING!"
"Not for me…" Bob's stony expression fades, "Jemma… He took Floof." Jemma is taken aback by his reveal, but she quickly gets her composure back and angrily states.
"Floof? The plush dog? You flipped on us for a stuffed animal? H-he wasn't even your favourite one!"
"He owns a plush dog?" Tegan quickly asks in confusion, but she is cut off by Bob.
"Gary threatened to burn him!" Bob calls out, "I was forced to vote Megan or else I would NEVER see him again,"
"IT'S A STUFFED ANIMAL!" Jemma yells indignantly, "YOU CAN BUY ALL THE STUFFED ANIMALS YOU WANT WITH THE MILLION BUCKS! ANY OF US WOULD HAVE BOUGHT YOU A REPLACEMENT IF WE WON INSTEAD!"
"But you don't realise, you can't buy the memories they give you," the Giant replies. Jemma looks at Bob with an upset face, before it turns into a glare and she shakes her head,
"Good luck in the game Bob, 'cause you won't be getting any more help from me." Jemma turns around and leaves, Tegan stays behind and says.
"Good job on that Bob, real smart of you. I'm sure being a flipper won't come back at you at any point soon. Anyways, have fun Protein for brains." The Complainer then walks off with a smirk.
In response to this, the giant sits down and groan in annoyance with a hand on his head. From around the corner, Xavier pokes his head out from behind the cabins and looks ahead with his mouth agape.
Confessional:
"For right now, my initial game plan is ruined…" Bob states sadly before he slumps for a moment. He then looks angry and straightens up. "But I can't just spend the rest of my time feeling sorry for myself… I'm going to try to salvage it, even if that's going to be easier said than done."
"Took Floof? Xavier asks confused, "Plush?" The Method Actor thinks before he says, "Hang on a sec…" Xavier comes to a realisation causing his eyes to go wide, "Crap… Did- did Gary blackmail Bob?" The Method Actor asks, still shocked. "That makes sense considering Bob joining the alliance and Gary sayi-" he cuts himself off too shocked to keep speaking… "I'm an idiot," he says quietly before he sighs, turns to the camera and says, "I said to myself before the game, alliances are fine, but not EVIL ones… I need to learn the whole truth, and if that means Bob is blackmailed, then I need to help him to make up for my involvement."
Confessionals End
Katrina watches Jemma and Tegan walk out from behind the cabins and sarcastically says, "Oh no, looks like that group's going up in smoke! Anyways." She then goes back to eating her cereal. She then comes to a realisation.
Confessional:
"Her only ally left is Tegan, who owes me. Make Tegan betray her and boom, she doesn't trust anyone and is desperate, I can just act honestly, swoop in and hopefully get her to help me get rid of someone like Gary. Wait, no that won't work, who could I flip them against?"
Confessional Ends:
Jemma walks over to a bench and sits down. She puts her hands onto her head and groans in annoyance.
"So Bob owns plushies? Why didn't you tell me?" Tegan chuckles, sitting across from her.
Jemma sighs before she says, "Did I do anything to make me more likely to get betrayed?"
"Eh, not really." Tegan begins, "Maybe having the most votes scared people, but that's not a reason to be betrayed like that."
"Exactly right? This sucks so much. I'm not even really mad at the game. I just thought we were friends or something, right now," The journalist then sighs. "Just watch a new challenge will start in 3, 2-".
Suddenly, Chris's voice calls out over the loudspeaker. "Alright, Campers! report to Earth Island for our next challenge! And make sure to watch your heartrates if you feel like that sort of thing!"
"Wow, you're psychic!" Tegan comments with a smirk.
"Okay, let's just do this one then." Jemma stands up and starts to walk away. The rest of the Lions stand up to walk over, soon being met by the Tigers.
Rory walks separately from the rest of his team. Susan starts to walk toward him and puts her hand up as if to say something, before putting it back down again, Rory notices this but he simply closes his eyes and walks faster.
Myron stands near Rory and says, "We'll vote her off, don't worry," Rory shrugs and says,
"It's better to win every challenge." To which Myron nods,
"Oh yeah don't worry, just letting you know you won't have to deal with her after next time we lose."
"Eh sure." Rory replies, "Look, can I just be antisocial for the day?"
"Oh yeah, that's fine, sorry if I was being pushy or anything!" The Nerd replies.
"It's fine," Rory says as he speeds up his walk. The campers get to the boats and start to row over. Before Jemma and Tegan go to row together, Katrina goes over to the complainer and pokes her on the shoulder.
"What?" Tegan asks, sort of annoyed.
"Wanna row to the island?" Katrina's face forms a smirk.
"Nope, not particularly," Tegan replies with a shrug as both she and Jemma get in the boat and row away fast.
"I'm not even mad, that was smooth…" She says with a shrug before she points to Bob and says, "You, row over with me."
"Yeah, sure," Bob says before they get in and start to row. Gary and Xavier are left as the only two left for their team and travel together.
Xavier asks Gary, "So… Can you let me in on some of the strategies you have this season?" Gary looks over with a raised eyebrow and says.
"You know what I'm doing, we lead the team, we get to the final two and we both split from there and battle in the finale," Gary explains in a condescending voice.
"Sure, but what are you doing to lead the team?" Xavier asks, "How did you manage to get the votes?"
"Why are you so curious, just relax, I've got your back if you've got mine." Xavier rolls his eyes.
"Sure…" Xavier replies as they both row ahead.
As the contestants arrive at the dock of Earth Island, Chef waits, pointing at everyone and saying "Chris says you've got to follow me to the challenge location." The contestants all shrug and follow as they begin to discuss what the challenge could be about.
"Maybe it's an ice-based one? Tegan comments with a shrug, "Running through an ice room maybe? That could be why he said the heart rate stuff."
"It's more likely the Escaped Psycho Killer guy from season 1 was paid to capture us all and we have to make it to the end of some dumb course," Katrina replies with a shrug.
"Not going to lie," Lauren quickly says, "I'd love to meet the Escaped Psycho Killer with the Chainsaw and a Hook!"
As everyone turns around a corner and see Chris and Chef standing near a group of 18 identical doors, causing two campers, in particular, to look at each other and gulp.
Confessional:
This is a split-screen confessional with Bob on the left and Carol on the right, at the same time, both say, "Oh you have GOT to be kidding me." Carol's voice is filled with quiet fear, while Bob's is angry.
Confessional Ends
"Hello, campers! Welcome to both the most terrifying! But also the most fun to watch, challenge yet!"
"Great," Jemma replies, "What is it this time?" Lauren takes this moment to look around and notice Carol not walking with the rest of the campers. Turning around she sees Carol standing several feet away still with a horrified look on her face.
"Hey, Carol, what's wrong?" Lauren asks.
"Not this one…" Carol quickly says to herself quietly.
"This one? What is it? The doors?" The fangirl shrugs but starts to push the Superhero forwards which isn't easy as the Hero is frozen in place, digging her heels in the ground. Chris looks at his watch waiting for the duo to make it back. Once they do he continues.
"I've been waiting for this one!" The host comments with a smirk. He then walks over to a tub and points.
"In here, I have a pair of VR glasses for each of you. You each have to wear the pair with your name on it and then go into the matching door. In there, you will encounter, your biggest fear!" The campers all look up worried at this info. All except Gary, who quietly smirks.
"To pass this challenge, all you have to do is face your fear and make it to the end of the room. Oh and if any of you thought you could get away with lying on your applications about your biggest fear… We asked both asked your parents and friends, and got a psychologist to help note your reactions." This wipes the smirk off of Gary's face.
Confessional:
"Wait what?" Gary questions, showing fear.
Confessional Ends
"How do you know they actually work?" Susan asks,
"We've thoroughly tested them!" This then prompts a cutaway to Morgan, standing up and angry with the goggles on. He suddenly starts to whine, saying.
"Shut up… I didn't get second, I got first!" He then pauses for a second, before he yells out, "Wait no, don't give me the broccoli pizza, I hate that!"
Flashing back to the real world, Chris then says, "Besides, A couple of campers here found their way here a few episodes back, at least ONE of them knows how well they work."
Carol takes this moment to quickly call out, "And since I did this challenge already, can I sit this one out?"
"Hmm, let me think about that," Chris sarcastically states, "NOPE! Anyways, you didn't actually do it, he dragged you out," Chris points to Bob.
"How do you even get the footage? And what makes you think we can't just walk through them?" Myron comments, terrified but attempting to sound calm.
"The footage comes straight from the goggles, and each room's got a different design inside, catering to the fear you have. Oh yeah, and one last thing," Chris quickly adds on. "Everyone on your team has to finish the challenge, and if you take off the glasses at any point before you finish the challenge then not just you, but YOUR ENTIRE TEAM, will be disqualified and have to go to elimination." Almost all gasp at this info, but Katrina simply nods.
"Saw that coming," she admits. Chris simply looks at her with a glare.
"Alright, when I call your name, come on up and grab the goggles off of Chef. Jake…" The leader walks up with his eyes shifting fast. "Xavier…" The Method Actor is only able to make a pained smile while walking over before he tells Jake,
"Good luck?" Jake looks away from Xavier quickly, causing Xavier to look sad. The camera then moves towards Nadia and Bob, who look at each other.
"So… How about you?" Nadia asks with a shrug.
"Don't want to say it," Bob states, "How about you?"
"Crows, bad experience from when I was younger." The Hot-Blooded replies with a shrug,
"Not bad, at least it isn't something like lightning…" Lauren says walking past with a weak chuckle,
"Good luck with that one," Nadia replies to the fangirl before Chris states,
"Nadia…" The Hot-Blooded then walks off.
Confessional:
"Fear challenge?" Lauren comments, "Out of the challenges that could have been brought back they chose the fear challenge?" She then grumbles, "Aw man."
"A fear challenge as the sixth one in the season?" Nadia asks, "Wonder where I've heard of that one before…" She continues sarcastically.
Confessionals End
"And finally, Bob," Chris states, causing the giant to walk over annoyed before he snatches the goggles out of Chris's hand. After grabbing the goggles, Bob starts glaring at Chris for a solid couple of seconds, however, Chris refuses to back down, not breaking the stare-off for long enough to cause Bob to look away with an annoyed growl.
"Touchy," Chris replies with a look of disdain, "Well alright then, everyone stands in front of your door. The goggles only work in your specific room and I will know if you're faking." At the reveal of the goggles not working outside of certain doors, Carol looks up and says,
"Wait, wha-" however her concern is ignored as the scene cuts ahead to everyone standing in front of their doors.
Confessional:
"I entered my own room in the cave challenge?" Carol asks. "Really?"
Confessional Ends:
"On the count of three, all of you enter. THREE! TWO! ONE! GO!" The remaining thirteen campers all walk into their rooms, with varying levels of trepidation. Right after the last contestant enters the doors, they all shut.
Susan walks in, hands behind her back, as fog rolls in and surrounds her. She looks ahead and says, "Bring it on…" The fog then reveals a group of people standing and talking. Susan steps ahead with a raised eyebrow, "Alright… This is weird…" She quietly comments. She then walks over to join the group, "Hello?" She says, but she isn't noticed by anyone. She walks over to one member of the group and waves her hand in their face but he does not respond and continues to talk without any recognition. Susan looks to her left and right quickly and then turns back and yells in the figure's face, "HEY! Can you hear me?" After not getting any kind of response, Susan takes a step back, "Uhh…" She says, starting to sound kind of worried.
Confessional:
"Interacting with people is important for humans," Susan states, "My thinking is, Positive ones? Brilliant! That's great! Negative like today? I can deal with them, even if I get annoyed or sad… But being ignored? I-I don't think I can deal with that."
Confessional Ends
Jake walks into the room looking around worried. He stops as he sees the fog roll in and gulps, closing his eyes. Once he opens them he sees two figures approaching in the fog. As he takes a step back, he sees them step out. An exact copy of himself… And his father.
"Hey Jake," The other Jake says, "Don't be so surprised… We're what your brain and the goggles dreamed up because let's be honest… Your fear is not something that can be shown by a physical object." Hearing this, Jake gulps.
Bob walks along with his head up, stopping to let the fog roll in while saying, "So this is what Carol saw…" The fog then starts to clear, showing a scene in black and white.
"Great…" Bob says to himself sarcastically as the scene begins. An eight-year-old boy is shown walking home with a plush in his hand and a smile on his face. Bob walks over towards the scene but collides into what appears to be an invisible wall several metres in front of him. The child is then suddenly pushed over as three bullies' step from behind a wall, the leader with a mocking smirk.
"Well, lookie here, looks like it's little Bobby."
"No…" Bob states watching the scene, before he looks away and covers his ears, "I'm NOT listening to this!" He walks away towards the door to his room. He messes with the handle and when it doesn't open he goes to remove the glasses but puts his hand back down with a grunt.
As the fog clears up around Nadia, she sees a large group of trees. Closing her eyes after she gulps, Nadia says, "Okay… Don't, look, up…" After taking a few steps forward she hears a screech that causes her to glance upwards. Seeing an army of crows peering down at her.
Confessional:
"I was five…" Nadia starts, "I walked into the living room and uh… My parents were watching The Birds…" She shudders before continuing, "Specifically that scene with the crows… Five-year-old's shouldn't see scenes like that…"
Confessional Ends:
Seeing this, Nadia closes her eyes, lets out a worried sigh and attempts to look down, but her eyes can't seem to not glance up. The crows caw and fly down and Nadia leaps down with her arms over her head.
Katrina steps in, her arms folded, "Let's just get this over with…" With an annoyed grunt, she looks up to the fog peeling in. She closes her eyes as the fog reaches her before opening them a second later. To her surprise, nothing happens. "Well, that was anticlimactic…" She comments, shrugging before taking a step towards the door. She is stopped however when the ground seems to shake, causing her to stumble and look around.
As the ground shakes, it seems to open up as something rises out of it. Katrina looks up to see a large piece of paper with a quill getting sent out next to it, right before the ground reforms. Several words on the paper seem to be highlighted, with the Former Intern noticing them straight away.
'Intern'
'Contract'
'Signature'
Her eyes go wide.
Confessional:
"You have GOT to be kidding me… MY OLD CONTRACT!?" She says angrily with a slight twinge of fear in her voice.
"Heh, Katrina's literally scared of a piece of paper!" Chris chuckles, "That's probably the saddest one here. I'm already thinking of things I can tell her…" He then shrugs, but his smirk is still evident, and after letting out a couple of snorts of laughter he adds on, "Well, you know what they say… sheet happens." With that comment, Chris starts to cackle.
Confessional Ends
Rory is the next to be shown, with the fog closing in fast around him. He simply looks ahead with a melancholy expression. From the shadows, an arched stinger appears, which causes the jock to sigh.
"Great… I know where this is going…"
Confessional:
"I can deal with this..." Rory attempts to convince himself, "They're just like spiders, and I can deal with those… What's so bad about Scorpions in comparison?"
Confessional Ends:
A swarm of scorpions start to race out and towards the jock, who takes a few steps back worried before Running around panicking.
Xavier enters his room, commenting "Oh man… Do I have to deal with these?" His question is answered as something drops to the ground. The method actor looks down to see a Marionette. Puppet strings start to go float down from above and go into it, animating it.
The Puppet's mouth opens as its eyes go red, causing Xavier to freeze in place, shaking. "Well this is a ding darn diddly pickle," he says, attempting to put on a Southern United States accent, though he just starts speaking in a voice dripping with fear.
Gary enters with folded arms. "Hit me!" He yells, "I'll destroy whatever fear the goggles picked!" The Theatre Kid quickly clarifies, "You picked Clowns right? RIGHT!?" The fog surrounds him as he sees a group of people, similarly to Susan. "No…" He says, "These… Definitely, aren't clowns," He then realises, "Mom? Dad? Johnny? How are you involved in this?"
"Mom?" Gary's Mother questions, "Who are you?"
"What? But… No… How do they know?"
"Uh… You're going to have to clarify," Gary's father replies.
Confessional:
"WHO TOLD CHRIS!" Gary hollers in anger, "How DARE you tell them! You could have just said the clown, THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN BAD ENOUGH!" The theatre kid angrily yells in anger.
Confessional Ends:
Lauren enters her room, closing her eyes, "Okay… It's not going to be for long… You can do this…" As she says this, she hears large booming noises coming down, causing her to shudder. "Here it comes…" She comments to herself.
After she says that, a bolt of lightning strikes right in front of her, causing her to jump back in surprise.
Confessional:
"My fear happens to be the same name as the nickname of a Total Drama contestant of old…" The superfan comments before sighing, "The irony isn't lost on me, don't worry. Oh yeah and also the Electric Tigers, that's two layers of irony!"
Confessional Ends:
Bolts of electricity keep landing in places in the room several times, causing Lauren to retreat against the wall. "I… I can do this… J-just give me… Twenty years or so, heh," Lauren's attempted joke causes her to sigh in annoyance.
Jemma steps into her room and looks forward. "Just bring it out here already." From a hall in the wall, seven needles fly out and stay in one spot. "Ugh…" She says to herself.
Confessional:
"I get how useful they are, but like… They stab you…" She then groans. "I get them, but I need to psyche myself up… Which I wasn't able to… THANKS FOR THAT CHRIS!" She yells.
Confessional Ends:
"They're not real… Hell, they aren't even sentient… I can do it… Grabbing one needle, Jemma grits her teeth and puts it into her arm causing it to disappear in a puff of smoke. "Okay that wasn't too hard, let's just leave here…" The journalist looks up and doesn't see the door open.
Chris's voice comes through a loudspeaker. "Nice try, but you have to do all of them!" Jemma looks up with wide eyes. "Well uh… They're fake, I can just do all of them… Right?" Before she shudders and looks at the needles.
Tegan watches a swarm of rats barge into the room and says, "Ew… No. I am not dealing with this."
Myron walks in to see a bear standing, causing him to look around worried. "G-great… B-bears… and I'm by myself… Bear incident two, here I come." The bear stands on its hind legs causing Myron to shake like a leaf and step back to the closed door.
Carol steps in before quickly putting her hands up in a Karate stance. "M-maybe I can do better on the second attempt…" She comments as the fog rolls in and a group of gorillas reappear. "NOPE!" She says as she steps back. "Nope, nope, nopeity, nope!" As the gorilla starts to speed towards the Superhero she dashes away.
Back over with Nadia, the crows continue to swoop, and she stays crouched down with arms over her head before she thinks, "Stupid birds! Come on Nadia, do the stupid challenge!" This causes her to open her eyes angrily and quickly get up. The birds continue to swoop onto her but simply go through her body.
"Hologram stuff, duh! Should have guessed with the goggles." The hot-blooded replies with a facepalm. The door on the other side then opens and she runs over, jumping out. Chris stands there and simply claps before saying.
"That… Was actually pretty fast."
"Yeah… can I take these stupid goggles off now?" an angry Nadia calls out.
"Sure," Chris shrugs. Nadia pulls her goggles off and throws them on the ground, breaking one of the lenses. "What was that for!?" Chris asks incredulously as the girl stomps off. "That was about 300 bucks, now I have to deal with the producers!"
"GOOD!" Nadia yells back before sitting down against the wall. Chris grumbles in anger before picking up the goggles and putting them in a small bag.
Nadia then looks up and sees several monitors containing footage of the other contestants, albeit without the fear itself. Jake's monitor is front and centre.
"Hmm," Nadia comments, standing back up, "We get to see the others do the challenge?"
"Yep!" Chris replies, beaming, Nadia raises an eyebrow but starts to watch Jake's.
"Alright then…" She states
Jake stands with a worried expression, saying. "Look, I don't know what you're thinking, but I'm straight."
"Jake," the other Jake asks, "Is lying to yourself really going to help?" The Leader looks downwards.
"Look can you just open the door? I really need to finish this challenge."
"All three of us know that isn't happening right now," The hologram of Jake's Father replies.
"Worth a try," The leader replies.
The scene turns back to Nadia, who even only having heard Jake's comments, says, "That… Explains a bit."
Confessional:
"I kind of feel like I've been pushing a bit too much for Jake to do something like come out," Nadia replies awkwardly, "To be completely honest, I was panicking as much as he was when I initially came out, and it was very easy for me, so I probably pushed a bit too much of my scenario on his…" She then sighs and says, "Real smart move me."
Confessional Ends:
Xavier continues to step back from the marionette before its mouth opens and it starts to laugh in a distorted voice. Suddenly Xavier stops, saying to himself, "It's either it or me," before he gets himself away and in position for a western shootout. He then starts to monologue to the puppet, "I know what you'd be thinking if you were real… 'Is this guy going to attack me or run away from me scared? Well to tell you the truth, I'm terrified so I'm not too sure, but considering I'm the guy that's real and you're a stupid marionette, you've got to ask yourself one question… 'Do I feel lucky?' I mean do ya punk!?"
After several seconds of staring each other down, the marionette's mouth opens up wide and Xavier takes a step back with his eyes closed, before he opens them up angrily and runs over while bellowing out a war cry.
Xavier grabs the puppet in his hand, opens its mouth and yells out, "HEY LOOK IT'S ME! PERRY THE PUPPET!" Which causes the door to open. After seeing his exit, Xavier pulls the puppet off and throws it down on the ground, stomping on it for good measure. Chris and Nadia simply watch as the Method Actor attacks air before he leaves his room and slouches down in relief.
"Good job Xavier, you are the first member of your team to finish the challenge!" Xavier looks up excitedly before Chris says, "You can take your goggles off now too!"
"First one on the team done eh? Let's go! Hi Nadia!"
"Hey Xavier," the Hot Blooded girl replies with a smirk.
"Looks like it wasn't by much though," Chris comments, pointing at Jemma's monitor.
Jemma sticks another hologram needle in her arm, leaving only one left. "So… So many needles," She says to herself quietly. She shakily extends her hand out and grabs the needle, before putting it in her arm, causing the door to open and for her to hobble out with terrified eyes.
"Needles," Chris explains to the other two which causes them to understand.
"So many of them…" Jemma says before she faints.
"You alright Jemma?" Xavier asks concerned, with Nadia also looking worried.
"She's just fainted, it's all good." Chris shrugs.
"I mean yeah," Nadia starts, "But she could have hit her head in the fall! I'm pretty sure heads and rocks don't mix particularly well."
"Hmm, that is true," Chris states thinking, "Alright fine, Chef! Take her to a tent, let her wake up and check to see if she hurt herself. If she didn't bring her back here,"
"Eh, sure," Chef replies, grabbing the girl and beginning to carry her out. As Chef walks off Chris turns to the duo and says,
"There, happy?" Both campers nod causing Chris to say, "Alright then, let's keep watching the challenge."
Susan watches the group all not noticing her existence and starts to look for ways to try and get their attention. She walks over to one member of the group and claps her hands to try and draw attention, which is swiftly ignored. She listens in on the conversation, but when she tries to focus, she can't hear anything.
"Okay, Chris… You're evil," Susan comments.
Gary is also struggling currently, with his mother, father and brother all standing awkwardly watching him.
"Stop joking around…" Gary says, eyes wide, "Please, just stop it…"
"I don't know what we'd be joking about here," Gary's father states, confused before his brother adds in,
"He's weird," Gary goes pale,
"R-really Johnny?" The theatre kid asks, "You don't even know me?"
"Uh, no…" The child replies, somewhat annoyed. Gary walks over to the wall and sits down with his hands rubbing his head.
"Nonononononononononononononono," Gary says to himself quickly.
"Well okay, nice to meet you, we're going to uh, go…" Gary's Mother awkwardly says as the trio walk back off into the fog,
"Wait no!" Gary says putting his hand out, however, they're gone. "How am I going to finish the challenge now?" He says rhetorically, however his question is answered when his family walks back out from the other side.
"Hello, what's wrong?" Gary's mother asks.
"Oh…" Gary says before he quickly stops himself and continues with, "N-nothing…"
"Oh, ok." Gary's mother says back as the group stare at each other.
Lauren keeps hearing the lightning all around her, booming thunder making her jump and cover her ears.
"Need to think of a way out of this," Lauren quietly says. "How do AH-" Her voice is cut off by another lightning bolt and the sound of thunder, making her jump back. "Oh-okay…" She says louder. "What would make me feel better…" She says before she's caught off guard by another boom of thunder. "If this stupid thunder could go away I could probably deal with the light… ning…" She realises something while saying the last couple of words. After thinking for a moment she closes her eyes… "This is dumb enough to work, so it better do so," she comments. Chris, Xavier and Nadia watch Lauren's camera as she takes a deep breath. She then takes a step forward after hearing the thunder, quietly saying "sha."
"Huh?" Chris says, baffled, Xavier and Nadia look at each other just as confused.
"Sha," Lauren says as another crack of thunder comes down, "Sha!" The fangirl sounds more confident as she approaches where the lightning bolt is blasting down, "SHA!" She yells over the thunder near the lightning. Thunder starts to boom constantly as she is near the lightning bolt, causing her to yell "SHASHASHASHASHASHASHASHA!" As she steps into the lightning bolt. It disappears and the door near her opens, leaving her to cheer happily.
Confessional:
"It was kinda simple actually…" Lauren explains, "I imagined the Thunder was just Lightning doing anything and saying 'Sha' right after doing it! Go me!"
Confessional Ends:
Lauren walks out the door with a smirk, pulling off her goggles and handing them over to Chris.
"That's one way to overcome your fear," Xavier says.
"Oh no, I'm still terrified," Lauren admits, putting her arms behind her head as her smirk grows larger, "But I cleared the challenge!"
"Good job Lauren," Nadia says, "Not going to lie, didn't expect you to be the second finisher from the team,"
"I didn't either," Lauren starts smugly, "I thought I'd be first," Nadia replies by raising one eyebrow. "Anyways, what's that?" The fangirl points at the screens.
"Oh, we're watching the others do the challenge from there," Nadia replies, Lauren is very quick to jump in and watch.
"Does anyone have popcorn?" Lauren jokingly asks.
Inside Rory's room, the jock stands back from the scorpions, teeth gritted, before he says, "Okay, let's do this…" he steps forward as the scorpion arches its tail up, ready to strike.
Rory stops, but takes a deep breath and starts to walk ahead. The scorpions all arch up and start to make striking motions, but they all go through Rory's shoes as he leans down and attempts to pick a handful up, however, the scorpions then fade as his door opens.
Rory sighs in relief and starts to take a step towards the door when suddenly, more fog rolls in and a giant scorpion falls from the ceiling causing him to jump back and yelp in surprise
"SHI-" He yells out, "WHAT THE HELL!?" He quickly follows up. Rory then breathes out, taking a step. "Sure, that's more than enough for me to die, but it's fake, it's allllll fake…" The Soft-Spoken Jock jumps onto the scorpion, going through it and landing on the ground, before he rolls out the door, landing sprawled out.
"Darn," Chris starts, "I thought the giant scorpion would stop you for longer," He frowns. "That's already five, this challenge is going fast…"
"I'm happy finishing as fast as I did," Nadia smirks confidently, however that confidence disappears as she is caught off guard and jumps when a crow caw suddenly plays. Chris smirks as he sneaks a phone back into his pocket.
Bob continues to look away, glaring at the ground. However, he's still able to hear the audio of the scene in question.
"Well, lookie here, looks like it's little Bobby … Still as weak of a loser as ever I see," the leader of the trio says.
"You tell 'em, Ronnie!" One of his lackeys laughs out. Bob covers his ears even harder, turning his back to the scene,
"Shut uuuuuuuuup," Bob whispers to himself.
Katrina holds a pen in her hand, looking at it before looking back at the contract.
"What if he'll count that as me signing to become an intern again?" Katrina says before she sighs. "Well, I don't have any other choice… I swear Chris if this is some trick…" The girl closes her eyes… And signs her name. Running out, Katrina looks at Chris with wide eyes.
"What's wrong?" Chris sarcastically asks, "You don't wanna be an intern?"
"CHRIS, I SWEAR IF YOU'VE DONE THAT!"
"Well, you signed your signature," Katrina takes that moment to stomp over to Chris and grab him by the collar, causing the host to look genuinely worried and say, "Hey, hey, I'm kidding, you don't have to be so…" Chris then smirks, "im-paper-ent!" Katrina drops the host, making him fall over.
"You're not worth it…" She walks away from everyone else and leans against the wall.
Myron stands, back against and hands on the wall with wide eyes. "Nope, nope, nope, NOPE! Not dealing with this…" He then sees a tent starting to appear… "You evil jerk! What the heck!" The bear simply stands there for several seconds, before it starts to take steps to the terrified guy who pulls himself along the wall.
"What if I am?" Jake asks, looking downwards, "If I hypothetically was, then why is this my biggest fear?"
"You know perfectly well," The hologram of Jake's father says to him, "Nobody would accept you; I'd probably kick you out if you do come out. Heck, I might even disown you."
"Y-yeah…" Jake replies, slouching.
"So why don't you get it out of the way now?" The hologram Jake replies, "Let it out of your system,"
"I know this is filmed, it's kind of obvious…" Jake replies.
"Yeah… So?" The Fake Jake replies. The Real Jake leans against the wall,
"So, I'm going to say I'm not gay, I'm straight and that's final," Jake states,
"Okay," Fake Jake replies shrugging.
Susan watches the people around her, before sighing and sitting down. "So the challenge isn't to join the conversation, of course, it wouldn't… Duh. Guess I'm listening to this…" Susan picks up a rock and starts to throw it back and forth in her hands as she listens to the conversation. The voices start silent, but slowly start to fade back in, firstly unintelligible, next distant and finally, she hears the conversation.
"Oh yeah, and like, that girl over there," one of the people in the conversation asks, pointing at Susan who looks up.
"Yah, let's let her out!" The door then opens, with Susan stepping out and saying,
"Please tell me you can all hear me,"
"Yeah, don't worry," Xavier replies.
"Thank goodness," Susan replies as she steps towards the monitors Xavier, Lauren and Nadia are watching.
Gary wipes tears off his face as he makes a pained smile. After taking several deep breaths, he opens his eyes as his family walks back into the frame.
"Oh hi! What's wrong?" Gary's mother asks,
"N-nothing, just uh… Just broke up with a girl," Gary quickly says
"Oh, alright then. It'll get better over time, don't worry. I know it doesn't seem like it, but it will." Gary looks up with a smile.
"Thanks," Gary replies,
"Hope your day gets better than it's been," Gary's father adds in,
"I'll try," Gary replies.
"Yeah, can we just keep going? I wanna buy those Xbox One games." Johnny complains,
"Alright then," Gary's mother replies before she turns to Gary, "Look, we're going to have to go now, see you later!" The trio then walks off into the fog as it dissipates and his door opens. Gary steps out and walks over, sitting down as he starts to tear up. Xavier notices this and walks over to him.
"Hey Gary, you alright?" Gary quickly wipes the tears away and speaks.
"Obviously, yeah!"
"If you need to speak it's fine," Xavier adds to try and comfort
"Shut up!" Gary replies, sounding angry.
Confessional:
"I don't want my game to be a sob story," Gary says, "That's why I haven't mentioned them until now. But my family is really important to me, especially my younger brother Johnny. I want to go back there with the million so Mom, Dad, Johnny and I can share it…" After realising the sudden display of weakness, he just showed the Theatre Kid's suddenly glares. "Hey, I don't have to say this here!"
Confessional Ends:
Carol climbs up some rocks, trying to get away from the gorillas, as she climbs, some rocks crumble and fall, making her nearly fall, though she recovers and stays above the gorillas.
Bob continues to look away from the screen with his hands in his ears. Bob opens his eyes while still looking away before he sighs. "I hate you, McLean," Before he turns around to watch through the scene.
"Well, lookie here, looks like it's little Bobby … Still as weak of a loser as ever I see," relistening to that scene causes Bob to frown.
"You tell 'em, Ronnie!" One of the sidekicks says before Bob groans. Bobby's bag is pulled off of his back and the trio rifle in it. The minions each grab Bobby by the arms, pulling him up and forcing him to watch as a Stuffed Bear is pulled out.
"Bearris! Put him down!"
"Oh darn, put him down? Well, you two know what to do." The minions then push Bobby to the ground and make him watch as Ronnie grabs out a lighter and puts it up to the bear, setting it on fire. Bob watches the scene and starts to tear up.
"How… How did you even learn about this?" Bob asks before he continues to watch.
Ronnie walks up to a sobbing Bobby and says, "Imagine being this much of a loser, now go home and cry to mommy," Bobby is pulled up by the two bullies and then pushed forward as they walk off and laugh. Bobby looks at the burning plush as the scene fades and Bob's door opens.
The Giant walks out the door and says to Chris, "You're a jerk, I hope you realise that."
"It's one of my best qualities," Chris replies.
Xavier looks over at Bob
Confessional:
"Is now a good time to talk to him about this blackmail stuff?" Xavier asks… "Well, I guess so…"
Confessional Ends:
Bob then says to Chris, "Also, that kid looks nothing like me," Bob replies with his arms folded,
"Oh well, then why don't I hire you to find a low-cost VR headset and actors for this one specific challenge if you're going to be such a critic. Also, it was enough for you to react as much as you did," The host points to the monitors showing the challenge while speaking in an annoyed and sarcastic voice.
"Screw off Chris," Bob yells as he walks further into the cave, out of sight of everyone else, Xavier and Gary watch the scene, with Xavier standing up to follow. Gary keeps exhaling due to the stress of his challenge.
Jemma wakes up on a bed with a start, as Chef Sits bored, "What the?" She says,
"Finally woke up… Let's just get back to the challenge again," before he throws an ice pack at her and they walk off.
Bob stands in the dark, fists balled and breath exhaling, which is interrupted by a voice calling out,
"Bob! Where are you dude," Xavier walks into the frame before Bob turns to him angrily.
"What do you want?" The giant asks which causes Xavier to look at him and say.
"Tell me everything," Bob replies by raising an eyebrow and saying,
"Everything about what?"
"The blackmail, please, tell me what's happening. I heard about it this morning," Xavier's genuine response causes Bob to glare for a moment before saying,
"And how do I not know this isn't some test from Gary to see if I'm saying stuff to people?"
"It's not much at this point, but you have my word. Gary's starting to piss me off, so he's not going to hear about this." Bob stares him down for a bit before he says.
"I'm probably going to regret this, but how much more do I have to lose? Okay… A personal object of mine's been stolen by Gary and he's got me hook, line and sinker until I've found where he's got it. It's as simple as that."
Xavier thinks and says, "Alright, so you're only in the alliance because of that item?"
"You could say that," Bob replies curtly.
"In all honesty, I didn't know about any of this, I'm starting to find out Gary's kind of a jerk."
"Really? You didn't know up until this point?" Bob questions.
"Nope, probably a bit dumb of me, but I wanted him to be a good dude." Xavier's response causes Bob to shake his head. "I want to help you with this though," Xavier says.
"Sure, anywhere you know about where Gary could hide something?" Bob asks.
"Don't know for certain, he goes all over the place after challenges." Xavier admits, "Though I can help figure out some places he could put whatever it is."
Confessional:
"Is it risky trusting Xavier?" Bob rhetorically questions, "Obviously. But if I want to get out of the situation with Gary, then I just have to see if I can find it, and if Gary's closest friend to this point is offering to help me find him then I think I'm going to take that chance. Anyways, if I get screwed over in this then at least I'll get out of the blackmail, and I should be able to find Floof when I get back to the island in the finale. Though that does raise the point of him burning it if he found out… Shit."
"I'm kind of surprised he told me like that, but I'm happy anyways," Xavier comments. "I'm this close to leaving Gary's alliance and helping Bob to also be able to leave will help me feel better about my game this season."
Confessional Ends:
"Alright fine," Bob replies as they shake hands.
Tegan cringes at the swarm of rats, shaking her head and staying back before she looks at the camera, "If you really think I'm going to do this then uh, NO!"
Chef leads Jemma back in, who has the ice pack on her head, the journalist says, "I just fell over, it's not that bad," to everyone causing Nadia to do thumbs up. "Thanks for the concern though, how many are left in the challenge?"
"The Tigers have three that still need to finish and the Lions only have Tegan!"
"Aw man, I missed that much?" Jemma replies, frowning. "Ah well," She then stands to watch everything."
The next scene shows Myron, standing back and looking terrified, "I mean… I can lose the challenge right? I have the votes… But that means we tie members…" The nerd takes a step forward but quickly goes back against the wall. He then looks over at the tent, saying, "Aw man… They really are capturing the exact situation…"
Myron walks towards the tent, looking at the inside and climbing in. He rolls into a ball as he hears bear footprints, then he crawls out the tent and sees the bear, before he stands up and says, "NOT AGAIN!" And jumps up, trying to push the bear over but only succeeding in a bear hug.
Confessional:
"The Bear incident… THE BEAR INCIDENT." Myron yells out in a terrified tone. "I was camping with Megan and her Dad years ago, probably when I was Fifth Grade, and we were all in separate tents. A bear came by one night and at the same time I couldn't sleep and I crawled out to get some fresh air without knowing about it… I was only halfway out of the tent when… WHEN THE BEAR PEED ON ME!" Myron yells, white as a ghost. "Laugh all you want, but just imagine that happened to you!"
Confessional Ends:
Myron's door opens as he then runs out, looking at everyone.
"You alright?" Susan asks, concerned.
"NO!" Myron yells.
"That just leaves Tegan, Carol and Jake to finish their challenges!" Chris calls out. Not the trio I expected," he continues.
Jake stands looking away with a grimace at the holograms in front of him.
"You're not leaving this cave until you say it," The other Jake tells the main counterpart, causing Jake to sigh.
"You are right…" The leader comments.
"And you'll have to find out if everyone's going to accept you or not… The hard way," Jake's father's hologram says, followed by. "I probably won't."
"Say it into this microphone… Let everyone know." The other Jake replies.
"Al-alright," Jake stutters. He then opens his mouth as the microphone comes down, before he says to the other Jake, "Is there… Any other thing I can say?"
"Nope," Hologram Jake replies.
Everyone hears microphone static, whether they're in the room outside the challenges or still competing, and they hear a voice say, "Okay, this is on? So… Time for me to… To do my fear… Here goes nothing… I'm talking over this to tell you all that I'm… I…" The leader's voice is filled with trepidation. "I like… Guys… I'm gay. Now if none of you wants to accept me I completely get that, and I want to say thanks for being fellow contestants, but…" His voice breaks up a little, "I uh… Think I'm done here."
The hologram versions of Jake and his Father start to fade as Hologram Jake says, "Well done, your challenge is over…" and Jake's door opens.
Jake takes a step outside to everyone staring at him. He looks down and starts to walk off. Though he is quickly stopped by Nadia walking up to him and saying, "Where are you going?" before she hugs him, which catches Jake off guard. "It took a lot of strength to do that," she whispers before Jake reciprocates the hug. "I'm sorry if I was too pushy before."
"No worries," Jake replies as he starts to tear up a little.
The scene changes over to Carol, still on the ledge, though after hearing everything Jake had to say, she looks down to the gorillas pounding their chests, looks up and starts to speak out loud.
"I… I have to… If I want the team to win…" Carol starts, "Plus after what Jake revealed, I… Have to. I don't want him to have come out like that for nothing…"
"Ugh fine," Tegan replies as she walks over and reaches to pick a rat up."
Carol leaps down on one of the gorillas, but it disappears, causing her to stand up and put her arms on another one of the holograms, screaming the entire time, causing it to disappear. Tegan is also able to pick up a rat and pet it, causing both girls doors to open and for both of them to make a mad dash to the exit. In a close race…
.
.
.
Carol makes it out first, pulling off her goggles and throwing them at Chris right as Tegan gets out of her room.
"AND THE ELECTRIC TIGERS WIN!" Chris yells, which causes the four Lions currently there to groan. Bob and Xavier then walk back in and see the mix of the Tigers celebrating and the Lions groaning, put what happened together and sigh in disappointment.
"I will see you six at elimination tonight! Now let's go! Unless we're missing someone?"
"I don't think so?" Lauren says before they all shrug and go… Except for Chef who runs open opening the door for Morgan.
"Oh yeaaaaaaaah," Chris says, "Him… Mitchell isn't it?"
"Morgan," Nadia quickly cuts in, "Why's he still here anyway?"
"Eh, I'll say it later, let's just get out of these caves." The thirteen then all leave, with Myron taking the goggles off of Morgan's face.
"You alright dude?" Myron asks, Morgan looks up and says.
"I'm fine… G-go ahead, I need to get the taste of broccoli pizza out of my mouth," Myron nods and walks off.
The scene changes to Jemma and Tegan walking along slowly.
Tegan walks up to a disappointed Jemma and says, "I messed up…" Before sighing, "Do you have the immunity idol?" The complainer follows up,
"Nope," Jemma replies with a frown,
"Darn, well I'm assuming we're voting Bob?"
"Obviously," Jemma replies, glaring at the Giant.
"Maybe we can get Katrina to help us, full-on girl's alliance or something,"
"I guess," Jemma says absentmindedly as she stares downwards.
"She did flip, but I feel like she's the one that's easiest to flip back," Tegan reasons out loud to an uninterested Jemma.
"Yeah sure, look I think it's going to be one of us and we can't stop it at all," Jemma admits, brutally honestly, "I don't even really feel like strategizing tonight, let's just vote Bob at elimination,"
"Sure, but if I can find any way around it then I'll let you know."
"Okay then," Jemma says as the duo continue to walk.
Carol walks along, breathing a sigh of relief as everyone leaves the cave. She separates from everyone else and leans against the cave wall. Jake takes this moment to walk up to her.
"Hey Carol, can I talk for a sec?" Jake asks.
"Alright then…" The Superhero responds, rubbing her elbow awkwardly.
"Walk with me for a bit if that's alright,"
"Sure," she comments. After they're a slight distance away, Jake says, "Did you… Hear what I said while in the challenge?"
"Yeah," The Superhero replies,
"Okay so everyone did," The leader comments.
"Yeah…" Carol replies awkwardly.
"Well, at least he heard," Jake replies, starting to blush a bit.
"Oh, you have a crush?" The Superhero replies.
"Weeeeeeell, kinda sorta maybe?" The Leader says, putting his hand up in a shaky motion. "I dunno, in all honesty, my brains kinda fried after the challenge. Can you not tell anyone about this though?"
"Yeah, that's fine…" Carol replies before she sighs, "Can I talk to you a little about last night?"
"Yeah, sure that's fine," Jake says as both sit on the rocks.
"So, what do you want to say?" Jake asks before Carol sighs.
"I mean, I dunno where to start," Carol responds looking downwards, "I befriended someone with social skills and she played me like pretty much everyone else. Knowing my luck that probably includes you."
"Nope," Jake replies, "You're nice and are good in challenges, it'd be dumb to send you home now,"
"Thanks, I guess," Carol mentions. "But yeah…" She exhales, "I don't know where I was gonna go from this point, I just wanted to get that bit off my chest, sorry about making us sit down,
"No worries, if you want to give more of your general headspace that'll be fine," Jake says.
"Well," Carol starts, "I guess I just feel like a massive doofus for everything. I genuinely thought I was her pal. The Timmy Oslo to her Hyperman. But Nah. I guess I jumped in too fast into making friends. I expected in Total Drama that people would betray me, but at least make it quick, don't make it the long con. I still want to compete don't get me wrong, but she could have gotten the votes to send me home last time."
"Yeah, I guess that's fair enough," Jake replies before he starts to think. "Do you think, that if I can set it up, do you want me to set up a conversation with Susan where you can say what you want to say? I know this might be a bit far, but if you don't want to do it then it's fine."
"Uh, no thanks," Carol replies, "I don't want to deal with her in all honesty."
"That's fine. Sorry if that was too much, if you need to chat then I'm here."
"I'll keep that in mind. I do appreciate you talking with me, and I'll probably be alright tomorrow, but just with the last elimination and this challenge, I kind of just want to stay to myself."
"That's fine, sorry if I was forceful with that last question. My brain's just jumbled after this challenge."
"That's all good." Carol comments before continuing, "Looks like we're the only two left on here, wanna row back? Go back on the Super-boat or something,"
"Yeah, I'm down for that," Jake replies
Confessional:
"I should be jumping at the chance to forgive Susan," Carol rubs her arms awkwardly, "It's the hero thing to do. But I dunno, part of me wants to avoid any more potential betrayals from her.
"I wasn't able to put much thought into Susan's situation," Jake comments, "In all honesty, I think that's fair considering the challenge and all that, but I think she might be sort of telling the truth. Still going to get more opinions. I just thought Susan might say more to Carol, so that's why I tried setting that up. Risky, but it might have worked."
Confessional Ends:
Katrina and Gary are sitting down across from each other rowing back and having a conversation. "So you're still voting with us?" Gary asks,
"Yep, as long as it's Jemma first. Tegan the less threatening one, keep her and we have a completely free elimination next."
"Pretty much," Gary says. "Good to see a plan go together."
"Yeah," Katrina then smirks, "I have to say nice going with Bob."
"What do you mean exactly?" Gary states with a raised eyebrow.
"Bob was against you, and then he suddenly joins the alliance and says nothing. Also, the sheer fact that you said you have a plan right before Bob joined the alliance, you have some dirt on him, no idea what but still, good job with that."
Gary smirks due to his ego being stroked, "Yeah I did a great job didn't I?"
"Yeah, how did you even do that?" Katrina asks,
Oh, it was simple, I ju-" He quickly cuts himself off, "Hang on a sec, nice try pal, I'm not revealing my secrets,"
"Worth a try," Katrina says, snapping her fingers disappointed.
"Good try though." He replies, raising an eyebrow at her.
"Anyways," Katrina replies, going back to serious. "Okay so cool, we vote Jemma."
"Yeah," Gary says before they arrive at camp and he stands up.
Confessional:
"I trust Katrina as far as I can throw her," Gary says, "But if she wants to align with us I guess I shouldn't be a jerk. Still, Bob and Xavier are both confirmed votes on my end, and I can't put Katrina on that level."
"Okay, so I'm considering getting Gary out either this or next loss. Gary's in all honesty my next target in the strategy I have, but I might be able to push it ahead a little. Though… That would also mean Jemma and Tegan are still in and without Gary, Bob's gonna flock back to them… Okay, so that can't happen. However, if I can get fear in Gary's mind, then that will make him sloppy and more likely to make a mistake. All I need is about one or two more eliminations to get to interview range, I'm almost there."
Confessional Over:
Lauren relaxes on her bed with a snack saying to herself, "Victory, how I missed you." Carol steps back in and sits on her bed, opening her bag and pulling out a comic.
"Alright, #389, let's do this."
"Upset about the challenge?" Lauren asks.
"Yeah." Carol says, "I'll be fine soon though, you can relax."
"Oh, alright," Lauren says, before she opens up her bag, "You alright if I make some music?"
"Yeah that's fine," Carol replies, continuing to read. Lauren grabs a small box out and starts to play on a harmonica inside.
At the entrance of the building, Nadia walks up to Jake as he enters. "Okay, so I probably should have asked you, but I asked Myron to join the alliance and he said yes,"
"Oh," The leader replies surprised, raising an eyebrow "I probably would have been fine with it, but you should have asked me first." Nadia scratches the back of her neck.
"Yeah, sorry about that, I thought he'd be a good vote against Carol or Lauren after Susan goes. He wants Rory to stay in for some reason but eh, we can probably take Rory out at final 5 for the team or something."
"Well… You've thought ahead, and I'm down for it, don't get me wrong, but just make sure to tell me what you're planning next time before you do it if it's about our alliance?"
"Yeah…" Nadia replies awkwardly.
"Can we talk about something for a second too?" Jake says before the duo travel to an area hidden from everyone else's eyes.
"So the challenge…" Jake starts, "Everyone heard… Even the ones still competing in the challenge."
"Yeah, everyone knows now."
"Ohhhhhh man…" Jake replies. "I didn't see Xavier when I got out of the room, did he react?"
"Dunno, Xavier was one of the first few to finish but he dashed off with Bob for a bit until the end of the challenge."
"Wait what?" Jake quickly asks, "But if he wasn't there… How far did the microphone's audio go?"
"Dunno," Nadia says, "Do you think he…"
"I think there might be a chance he might not have heard me…" Jake replies.
"So let me get this straight… Almost everyone knew about you coming out… But the one guy that should have known might not have heard?" Nadia asks,
"Pretty much," Jake replies before he lets out an angry groan. "I have to tell him myself… Just in case he didn't." Jake sighs.
"Mm-hmm," Nadia replies, nodding her head.
"Great…" Jake replies, "Well, hopefully, he's at least doing better after the challenge."
The camera then fades to Xavier sitting down and sighing while shaking his head sadly, the door is opened and Gary stomps in, grabs the Method Actor's arm and starts dragging him out,
"Alliance meeting… Now." The Theatre Kid looks annoyed however Xavier returns with his own angry expression.
"Give me the tl;dr, I'm not really in the mood for an alliance meeting,"
"No, I'm getting us all together to talk about the plan, this isn't an argument, come with me,"
"No thanks…" Xavier replies.
"Stop being a dumbass and get to the meeting," Gary's annoyed comment causes Xavier to look up annoyed and say,
"Dumbass? What the hell dude. I just want some me-time, you're not a god or anything, and my life doesn't revolve around you."
"I'm not saying that," Gary responds, "Why are you so mad today?"
"I'm sick of being your minion, I want a chance to do something… Hopefully not something evil either!"
"Evil!?" Gary questions, "what are you talking about?"
"I know what you've been doing to Bob!" Gary raises an eyebrow.
"What exactly?"
"Blackmailing him!" an enraged Xavier replies,
"Pffft, what makes you think that?" Gary's voice sounds normal, but his expression darkens.
"Maybe I figured it out myself? Maybe I just said this to see how you'd react, either way, your reaction proves it."
"Do you honestly think I'm blackmailing Bob?" Gary asks, "Or did you get convinced by someone like Katrina to get her more votes? Or Bob to secure his game?"
"Oh, considering the 'you' I've seen the last couple days I wouldn't put it past you to do something like this."
"Dude you're starting to annoy me," The Theatre kid states with a glare, "not a good idea,"
"I mean, I've been aligned with you since episode two, and what do I have to show for it on my end? Bob didn't get a single thing out of flipping and he hates you! Why would he even be in the alliance if it wasn't for blackmailing?"
"What have you gotten out of this?" Gary questions sarcastically, "Let's see, you're part of the superior alliance on the team?" He then rolls his eyes, "Anyways, if you're so insistent on staying here we're voting Jemma,"
"Why her?" Xavier asks, "Jemma is more useful in challenges than Tegan and Tegan was the only person on our team to not face her fear when the challenge ended."
"Yeah but Jemma's got more friends, she's already got you evidentially enough,"
"Believe me, Jemma and I don't care about each other at all, but Tegan's ruder and she's worse in challenges, if we want to win challenges, then she needs to go more. But hey, WHY LISTEN TO ME! You've never done that."
"I don't know what you're talking about," Gary states, folding his arms.
"In this entire game, I've tried to help with the alliance but you've just come along and pushed my thoughts and feelings to the side, I'm a contestant too!"
"I'm well aware of that, but let's look at this from your game perspective," Gary comments. "I'm coming up with plans that let you play the game safe in the pre-merge, after merge hits you get a definite path to the final two with absolutely no blood on your hands,"
"Oh yeah, and a potential jury's just going to LOVE the guy that did nothing right?" Xavier replies annoyed.
"More than the guy that burned every bridge probably," Gary shoots back.
"Anyways, let's put the strategy stuff to the side for a sec," Xavier says before continuing. "Strategize all you want, being a strategist is fine, but don't do evil stuff like blackmailing!"
"Yeah, and what if Bob joined our side willingly to secure his spot in the majority?"
"Have you seen him? He's certainly not a willing ally."
"What's your endgame in this argument?" Gary says, "Bob asked me to join the alliance willingly, I don't know why you're so heated,"
"Bob was already in the majority!" Gary is shut up for a second,
"So what are you getting at then?"
"Between everything I'm learning you've done, I don't particularly want to work with you anymore," Xavier admits, stomping his foot in anger
"Excuse me WHAT!?" Gary yells, "You are aware that if you drop the alliance, we CAN and WILL target you?"
"Yep,"
"Get back in the alliance now…" Xavier stands silently in a glare-off with Gary. The Theatre Kid is the first to break the silence. "I'm warning you, this is your last chance."
"We're done… I don't care at this point, just vote me off…" Xavier slowly starts, "At least I can come back in a future season and actually play a game where I keep my morals."
"FINE!" Gary yells, storming out of the cabins and into the forest. After a few seconds of indistinct grumbling, Gary's face suddenly drops into an expression of worry as he says… "CRAP!"
Confessional:
"THIS IS BAD," Gary calls out, "I need Xavier's vote for me to have full control of the team considering I don't trust Katrina. Maybe I can get Xav' back somehow… Actually," he suddenly realises, "Perhaps, I have a way to convince him to back into the alliance. I guess I have to go for it."
Confessionals End
Gary steps out of the confessional and sees someone stepping from behind a tree. Lauren walks up to him with a smirk. "Nice strategy, maybe we can put our brains together from tomorrow onwards, I could use someone like you in my corner." Gary stands surprised, but his face turns into a glare,
"You heard the confessional?" He asks,
"Of course," Lauren replies, "You seem smart though, so do you want to work with me?"
"Well I don't have much of a choice, do I?" Gary replies to which Lauren shakes her head,
"You could have said no if you wanted, but saying no to the alliance is kind of a dumb move seeing as I now know how your team is run. I could very well try to convince Katrina, Jemma, Xavier and Tegan to vote for you. No idea what Bob's deal is though?"
"We'd both prefer for it to be kept that way," Gary replies curtly, "But, I'm on board," both put out their hands and shake, securing their partnership. The two contestants both nod at each other before they turn around and walk in opposite directions.
Later, Katrina walks over to Tegan, before starting, "Hi Tegan, how's it going?"
"Fine enough," Tegan replies, "What are you here for?"
"You did say you owe me one," Katrina smirks, "I'm using that now."
"How about next elimination? Just not this one," Tegan states.
"Nope, I need it now. I need you voting Gary," Tegan looks surprised and says,
"Oh… Alright, Gary was my secondary target anyways, alright, I can probably get Jemma too, Gary's fine."
"Yeah, with the three of us we can at least force a tie."
"Exactly."
"Cool!"
Suddenly, a loudspeaker goes off and Chris's voice says, "Alright Frozen Lions, make your way to the elimination area!"
"I'm still going to hold you to that vote," Katrina smugly states, "I took out Hannah and you're gonna do what I say this time."
"Alright fine," Tegan sighs as the duo walk off to the elimination.
Elimination Ceremony 6: Frozen Lions (6 Members)
"Well, well, well," The smug voice of Chris states. "You had all the advantages in the world to win here, fewer members, not as many traumatic events, you guys had it pretty easy overall. But you still lost… What do you want me to call you? The Toxic Rats?"
"Shut up…" Katrina replies with her arms crossed, "Let's get this over with…"
"Touchy," A smirking Chris states, "Why? Cause of that fake contract you signed?"
"I swear to-"
"Alright then," The smirking host cuts the former intern off. "On this plate I have… Wow, five hotdogs? Do better, I want at least a decent amount of you making the merge. Anyways, all of you go and vote someone off."
Jemma stands up saying, "I'll go first."
"Wait a sec," Tegan says standing up, however, Jemma simply walks away.
"Same plan," Katrina whispers to Tegan.
Gary turns to Bob and says, "Do you know the current plan?"
"Yeah…" Bob replies with a numb expression.
After Xavier walks back after casting the final vote, Chris states, "Alright Rats 2.0, let's see who the Rattiest Rat here, I'm very curi-" Chris however is suddenly cut off.
"GET ON WITH IT…" Everyone looks over to Jemma, who calms down almost immediately, "Sorry, I just need to get this elimination out of my system,"
"Geez, okay then. Let's see, A Hotdog to Xavier, and a hotdog to miss scared of paper,"
"Not just any paper," Katrina folds her arms and grumbles, but still gets up to grab hers,
"The rest of you got votes, actually it was a 3-1-1-1 vote,"
Confessional:
"Bob… Goodbye…" Jemma states, a stone-faced expression evident.
"If I go home I deserve this…" Bob starts by rubbing his elbow sadly, "But if I'm not, then I need to make it up to Jemma somehow… And I need to get Floof back…"
"Three to one to one to one?" A very worried Tegan states, "This is either very good… Or terrible…"
"Four people with votes?" Katrina asks confused, "We all agreed to vote Jemma… Unless Bob voted Tegan for some reason, but that wouldn't make sense, Gary's got him wrapped around his thumb and I doubt if Bob splits from us he'd vote Tegan of all people,"
Confessionals End
"So Jemma, Bob, Tegan and… Hmm… I'm forgetting someone," Chris says, holding up another hotdog with a smirk. "Oh wait, Gary, you know what, you're safe."
"Screw you, McLean," Gary states as he walks up. Snatching the hotdog out of his hands,
"Would you look at that, bottom THREE now… Shocking,"
Jemma looks over at Tegan who shrugs and looks worried. Jemma is left confused.
"With one vote, Bob, come and get your hotdog." Bob walks up without a word, leaving the bottom two to sit with worried expressions.
"Why are we the bottom two?" Jemma calls out worried.
"Bottom 2…" Chris states, "Tegan, the team thinks you're annoying and you were the only one that didn't finish the challenge. And Jemma, you made yourself a friend group at the start of the season, and the team noticed that you were a social threat as a result." Jemma slouches while Tegan simply looks confused. "The final contestant safe is…
.
.
.
.
.
Jemma."
"What was that bottom two?" Tegan calls out as Jemma gets up, breathes a sigh of relief and walks over, grabbing his hotdog. "Also, I'm out?"
"Yep," Chris comments before pointing to the docks, "Fireworks are that-a-way!"
"Hang on a second, HOW was she in the bottom two with me!?" Tegan yells,
"I'm confused too," Katrina comments, "We had four votes against Jemma! Why did the rest of you flip on Tegan!?"
"I knew it!" Tegan says, "You're lucky I'm a girl of my word."
"I thought you were all voting Jemma as well…" Xavier says, annoyed.
"There was a change of plans… I took your thoughts into account, they were good, thank you."
"I'm still not going to rejoin the alliance…" Xavier states annoyed.
"Great… Jussssssst great. You know what… Screw this." Tegan simply stands up and starts to walk away, with Jemma following her. Katrina glares at Gary and stands up, walking away from the campfire ceremony. Xavier follows with a neutral face.
"Well." Gary says, turning to Bob, sarcastically saying "That went better than expected," Bob simply grunts angrily. "Come on, don't be so mad, at least it wasn't Jemma." Bob takes that opportunity to stand up and stomp away. Gary strolls back towards the cabins
Jemma and Tegan walk down to the fireworks, both saddened, though Tegan turns to her friend.
"I promised Katrina I'd owe her one if she voted Hannah off, and she wanted to get rid of Gary, sorry I wasn't able to warn you in time…"
"It's alright," Jemma says with a sigh, "I was the one that brushed you off, so it's my fault. Though, judging by what she just said, looks like she got backstabbed too." Tegan sighs but continues to speak.
"Okay, since I'm out, I'm telling you now that you are the only winner I won't completely hate seeing. So I better not see you getting on this," she points to the fireworks.
"Don't worry, I don't intend to," Jemma replies with a pained smile.
"Good, cause if I'm being honest, you're going to have a hard time there." Tegan admits, "My advice? Win every other pre-merge challenge and then team up with the Tigers, you might be able to sway one or two of them into keeping you in somehow, but you don't have a chance with these guys unless their alliance falls apart,"
"I guess, thanks for the honesty?" the rather confused Journalist replies.
"No worries," The complainer responds as Chef makes it over to tie her onto the fireworks. "I'd say I had fun, but that's bull, the only half-decent thing here was hanging out with you and Megan." Tegan then sighs as Chris walks up.
"Well, any last rants you want to tell us all before you're launched away?" Chris yells.
"Well, where do I begin? Gary's fake, Xavier's spineless, Bob's a traitor and Katrina's a jerk! Jemma's the only person still in the team I actually like, hell, the only other one I even liked a bit was Megan! Don't even get me STARTED on Hannah or Alfred,"
"Cool, I'm gonna launch the fireworks now," Chris says annoyed.
"I'M NOT DONE YET! LET ME FINI-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" The complainer gets launched away as Jemma turns around and walks off.
"And now, we have lost our sixth camper, one third gone! Who will leave next? Who will win? Will Susan manage to bring back control of her team? Will Jake tell Xavier the truth? And will Xavier help get Bob away from Gary? Find out on the next episodes of TOTAL! DRAMA! ELEMENTAL ISLANDS!"
Confessional:
"Well, that's a twist," Katrina comments, "Guess Gary's betrayed me… Thought it'd be later in all honesty, but ah well. Xavier's against Gary, Jemma's gonna probably want him out and I can help Bob with whatever Gary has on him, that's four votes for Gary, and I now have the whole team willing to work with me!" The intern sits back. "I guess this is being the villain, but it's for a worthy cause. Look out world, this Intern is going to win this game!" She leans back with a smirk.
Confessional Ends:
Voting Confessionals
Bob: "Tegan…" The giant comments with an annoyed sigh, "Xavier better be able to help me, but for now, I have to stay in Gary's alliance."
Gary: "Look I need Xavier's vote, so I guess I'm going to have to vote Tegan so I have that chance to get him back. It's better to have three definite votes at final five compared to two."
Jemma: "You betrayed me, Bob… I thought our friendship meant something."
Katrina: "And so falls the second domino," The intern mentions nonchalantly. "Gary's my next target. I can get Tegan and Bob's votes against him at least." "Jemma ran the first part of the game… But no more."
Tegan: "Okay, so that challenge wasn't my… best performance," Tegan comments with a grimace. "I'm a woman of my word though, so I guess I have to agree with Katrina's vote and vote Gary. I wish I was able to tell Jemma about the vote though."
Xavier: "Tegan… I really couldn't care anymore to be honest, but at least Jemma's not a jerk. I could also vote Gary, but he's not getting enough votes to go so I'll just throw a vote to Tegan 'cause she's annoying."
Bonus Clip
Richard, Alfred, Megan and Hannah all stand around.
"So…" Richard starts. "I'm assuming I should expect everyone here at every post-elimination interview?"
"I mean, I'm here because you wanted me to look at Morgan when he came here but I wasn't able to. So I'm curious," Megan states.
"And I'm here because I have a great feeling about this elimination!" Hannah replies with a smirk.
The rocket lands with Tegan screaming all the way down. Megan and Richard untie the Complainer who simply says, "Stupid Katrina, Stupid Gary, Stupid Chris!" After seeing her rival, Hannah walks over and says.
"Knew iiiiiiiit," How's it going you basic bi-"
"OH OF COURSE YOU'RE HERE TO GREET ME!" Tegan yells, cutting Hannah off and causing her to step back in surprise, "STUPID GAME! GRAHHHHHHHHHH!" Tegan stomps over to the beach.
"So Tegan… Will you calm down by any chance?" Richard asks.
"WHAT WAS THAT YOU BORING-"
"I said, will you calm down by any chance."
"Wow and I thought I was angry," Alfred cuts in.
"Please Tegan… You're still being filmed," Megan states, sounding concerned.
"Good… Point…" Tegan says taking deep breaths. "Also, hi Megan." She waves at Megan who waves back.
"So… Now that you're feeling better," Richard starts, "I would ask how you feel about your elimination… But you've made it quite obvious. Do you know who caused your elimination?"
"Xavier, Bob and Gary," she bitterly states.
"Hmm, so I'm guessing you want those three out next?"
"Obviously. Xavier's probably last out of the three, I have the least against him compared to the other two, the guy's just a follower and doormat. Bob and Gary are on my permanent hate list though, they better lose soon!"
"We really should show you the episodes," Megan states.
"Whatever," Tegan complains, stomping her foot. "Yeah, this elimination was bull! I hate it and I hate the guys on my team right now." Tegan stomps away, followed by Hannah who says,
"Oh no, you're not getting away that easily, I've still got like 50 insults to shoot at you!" This leaves Alfred, Megan and Richard standing around.
"So… That was… Something." Alfred comments.
"Yeah," Megan says. Maybe I should take her to the spa to try and calm her down. She then says offhandedly, "Maybe play some lo-fi music as well."
"Lo-what?" Alfred asks.
"You don't know Lo-fi?" Megan asks.
"Father only allows me to listen to Classical music, the refined kind," Megan's eyes go wide before she suddenly goes deathly serious and says.
"Okay after I take Tegan to the spa I'm introducing you to the modern stuff. We'll start with Smells Like Teen Spirit followed by Call Me Maybe, then I'll decide where else to go from there."
"Uh, alright then," Alfred replies with a shrug, Richard points at the camera to shush the other two up before he says,
"One-third of the contestants are out… I wonder who's going next… Find out I guess next episode…" After he says that, the scene fades out.
Electric Tigers: Carol, Jake, Lauren, Myron, Nadia, Rory, Susan
Frozen Lions: Bob, Gary, Jemma, Katrina, Tegan (Eliminated), Xavier
Phobia List for the remaining campers:
Bob: Asthenophobia = Fear of Showing Weakness
Carol: Pithecophobia =Fear of Monkeys – Specifically Gorillas
Gary: Athazagoraphobia= Fear of Forgetting or Being Forgotten – Specifically Being Forgotten
Jake: Alethophobia = Fear of Facing the Truth – Specifically Coming Out AND I couldn't find a name for it, but Fear of disappointing his father.
Jemma: Trypanophobia = Fear of Needles
Katrina: Papyrophobia= Fear of Paper – Specifically Her Old Contract
Lauren: Tonitrophobia= Fear of Thunder and Lightning (sha rip)
Myron: Arkoudaphobia =Fear of Bears – Specifically Grizzly Bears
Nadia: Ornithophobia = Fear of Birds – Specifically Crows
Rory: Arachnophobia = Fear of Arachnids – Specifically Scorpions
Susan: Monophobia = Fear of Being Alone – Specifically loneliness.
Tegan: Musophobia = Fear of Mice and Rats – Specifically Rats
Xavier: Pupaphobia = Fear of Puppets – Specifically Marionettes
It's was very fun coming up with fears for each of the campers to have. For a fun fact, Rory originally had Claustrophobia, but then I realised that we already had an entire challenge in a cave… Safe to say I needed to change that… Rory's phobia wasn't really one of the more important ones this episode so yeah… Nadia also needed to be changed a bit because it was originally Heights. With her overall confidence and the general way I wanted the order to go I needed it to be something smaller because she was going to finish first. Plus last episode's challenge required me to write a reason for her to not be terrified during that one so yeah…
Getting inside my character's heads was a very fun experience, seeing how they ticked was very nice. A lot of these guys actually had somewhat easy to choose or already stated fears so that was nice.
I'm genuinely really sorry if I didn't do well with Jake this episode, I kind of feel like I bit off more than I could chew with his plot so I genuinely feel bad if his plot isn't executed well. This is honestly really worrying me, I'm really sorry if it's offensive to people in the LGBTQ+ community. I will make edits to his plot in the episode if you want me to change something about it then just tell me and I'll try my best.
Ah, Tegan… Tegan, Tegan, Tegan… I had the best of intentions writing you, you were supposed to be a comedic character that didn't last overly long but still had a bit of a plot… But I found her kinda annoying to write (Outside this episode), and she kind of got ignored as a result, especially after Hannah got eliminated. However, I do have to say, I enjoy writing everyone currently still in, so it'll be interesting to see where it goes from here. It's probably going to hurt sending any of the final 12 onwards home.
Speaking of Final 12, now that one-third of the contestants are eliminated, were they who you expected? Did you expect different ones? Who do you think is going to be joining them soon?
Also, I am genuinely sorry this chapter is as long as it is, the challenge sort of made it balloon into something gigantic that I didn't expect. I don't think the next challenge will be as long as this one so that's a good thing, so don't expect AS long of a read hopefully.
I should probably stop rambling now and let you click off. Reviews are appreciated but only leave them if you want to.
