And it's time for part 2! I hope you all enjoy the ending of the chapter… Which is still around 11K words… Whoops. Ah well, make sure you have a refill of popcorn, or whatever you want to eat and prepare to continue reading! Let's go!
No reviewer response because it's the second part and getting posted at the same time as part 1 lol
Surprised to be doing this but I should probably do a TW for this chapter. This chapter contains usage and mentions of drowning/near-drowning.
The camera then fades into Don finishing what was probably a very long rant. "-And at least I actually care about the people competing!" After this, Don looks at Chris disdainfully.
"Hey, I care about them enough to not overly hurt them!" Chris replies defensively, "They bring in the ratings!"
"Aaaand we're airing," A cameraman calls from offscreen, causing both Chris and Don to look up at him annoyed.
"We're back for more Total Drama Elemental Islands," Chris quickly says, probably to avoid another argument. "Both teams have started today's challenge, diving underwater for sunken treasure."
Don starts to write more on the clipboard, causing Chris to groan and say,
"Let's just check-in and see how everyone is doing," This leads to a scene change to Katrina, who lands on the ocean floor, walking along and looking around. "Okay… Treasure… Where would I be if I was some treasure?" She then notices a treasure chest on the ground, filled with coins. "Heyyyy, sweet!" She smiles, rubbing her hands.
The Former Intern starts to go upwards, before Gary swims over, "What's up?" She asks.
"Do you need any help?" The theatre kid watches on,
"Nah," was the shrugging response. "I'm fine,"
"Well alright," He shrugs, "It's just I can't find anything right now so if you want I can keep watch while you're swimming or something."
"You don't have to?" Katrina questions, "What, are you going to attack me or something?"
"No?" Gary replies, genuinely confused, "That would literally be the dumbest move possible,"
"Alright fair enough," she shrugs, "Never can tell with you,"
"Okay that's uncalled for," Gary folds his arms, "I'm trying to be nice,"
"Forgive me for not being completely on your side," The Intern shoots back.
"Okay, be like that," Gary rolls his eyes before swimming off. Katrina smirks at the situation for a moment before that smile starts to fade.
Confessional:
"Should I make a general attempt to get me back in Gary's good books?" Katrina questions herself. "I mean, he's my next target, he's too threatening to keep around if I want to get far enough to screw over Chris, but should I try to reforge an alliance to make sure he's not planning some massive move to take me out? Jemma doesn't really like me, he might be able to get her vote potentially." after pausing for a moment she groans, "Damn it, it's probably not much but I'm actually a little worried about this now."
Confessional Ends:
Jemma swims into the ship, noticing several doors around her. Going up to one she tries to open it, but struggles to do so.
"Damn it!" she yells, before kicking it. Unfortunately, this only hurts her. "Ow!"
Bob then swims up behind her and says, "What's wrong?" Jemma turns around to see him and groans.
"Can't open this door," she says, glaring at Bob.
"I'll give it a go," The giant replies before Jemma steps away. The Juggernaut takes a few steps back before he swims forward and slams his shoulder into it. While the door doesn't fall, it does rumble, causing both to look at each other. Bob steps back and slams into it a second time, which knocks the door open.
"Cool," Jemma mumbles before walking in, "Thanks I guess."
Bob looks over to her before he starts, "Look I-" he then gets cut off.
"Get back to the challenge," Jemma replies, looking away,
"One thi-" The giant starts to say before Jemma swims into the room and speaks over him again.
"Not in the mood right now," the Journalist then points for Bob to go in another direction towards the treasure room. Bob nods and swims off.
Jemma sees a group of bottles with notes in them.
"That's interesting," she comments to herself before she grabs one and then realises something. "Wait… I can't open this down here…"
"What is it?" Xavier asks.
"One of those bottles with a note inside people find washed up on beaches," she replies off-handedly, "I dunno, it might have something on the paper,"
"Bring it up and check it out," Gary adds, "If it's not worth anything then at least we know not to worry about them if we find any more,"
"Alright then, will do," Jemma nods, grabbing and leaving the room. She then leaves the door open enough to appear closed to someone not paying attention before starting to go upwards.
Rory then arrives at the ship, seeing Jemma leave and looking confused for a moment.
"Didn't see her arrive," he comments, before starting to look around. He does notice the doors, but not the open one.
"Huh… How did I not notice these?" He walks over to a different door and manages to push it open after a few seconds of struggling against it. He sees a dining room with a few goblets floating around. "Well that's very useful," he comments, grabbing one and swimming off.
Jemma gets out of the water, quickly running onto the land, taking the cork off and unfurling the note.
$300
"You found one of them?" Don asks from offscreen, before jogging over to Jemma. "These aren't for the challenge, I came here after the Fire Island elimination and got an intern to put these in the ships as props,"
"Why does this have 300 dollars on it?" The Journalist looks on confused,
"It's the receipt for a pair of shoes I bought," Don replies, grabbing it from Jemma's hands.
"All of them?"
"Well no, receipts for other bits of clothing, but still."
"Okay, follow up question, why were they all in one room?" She questions.
"The intern told me they were scattered all over the place?" Don replies back.
"Guess they were lazy?" she shrugs.
"Wow," Don look's at her, before exhaling, "Good to know."
He then walks away before telling her, "Get back into the challenge, and ignore them from now on."
The Journalist walks over to the chests and then jumps into the water and "We're not getting points from those bottles."
"Alright then, how's the score?" Katrina says back.
"The other team has more points, we need to find a way to boost ours," After a quick look at the time she continues, "We also only have 24 and a half minutes left,"
"Wait what?" Bob calls out, "We're past halfway done?"
"Yep," Jemma sends back.
"How do you think we can catch up then?" Xavier adds before he resurfaces and gets out to drop some coins and the crown in.
"Focus on treasures," Gary jumps in before he explains further, "Obviously grab coins but make sure to look for places where treasures could be,"
"That's actually a pretty decent plan," Jemma admits, following up with, "I'm happy with that,"
Alright," Xavier happily says, "In that case, I'm gonna look around the cave some more, I feel like there'll be treasures there."
Carol and Jake swim out of the cave with coins, with Jake looking over to see Carol stuck in thought.
"What's wrong?" Jake asks.
"I kind of want to… Talk to Susan a little?" The superhero says back in a questioning tone, "Well, I want to be the one talking, and she listens to me," Jake smiles back,
"Sure, I'll get you both together after the challenge and maybe you can get closure or something,"
"I guess it could count as closure," Carol replies, frowning.
"Are you actually alright?" Jake asks, looking at her.
"Could be better," Carol admits, "Just thinking."
"Okay, just talk to me if you need to,"
"I will do it, don't worry," Both smile at each other before they come across a pile of coins.
"Jackpot!" Jake yells as they each grab a bunch of coins.
As this happens, Katrina swims near the cave, eyeing around,
"There's gotta be something here at least?" After looking around she sees a small anchor. "That's… Something I guess…" She comments before she communicates to the team, "So I uh, found this anchor, think it counts as a treasure?"
"It's worth a try," Jemma says back, "Can you lift it though? Never lifted one, but anchors are generally pretty heavy,"
Bob cuts in, "I'm happy to take a break to help you out if you want,"
"No, I should be fine." Katrina confidently says before she starts to lift the anchor. Due to the weight, she starts to raise while grunting, "It's-owww, heavy, but nothing I can't-rrrr manage," due to the weight, while rising, Katrina starts to drift over towards the cave.
"So yeah," Carol starts as she and Jake walk out of the cave with a bunch of coins. "Good choice going here for the convo," she chuckles.
"I mean, we had to talk somewhere," Jake smiles back.
The duo then look up to see what Katrina's doing above them.
Katrina struggles upward, eventually saying, "Y'know, I could actually use some… Help here,"
"On my way," Bob confidently states, "Just give me a sec, I'm by the ship."
"I'm near the cave," Katrina answers back.
"Well I'm in the cave," Xavier jumps in, "Gimmie a sec, I'll help you two out,"
However, while talking to the team, Katrina had to put one hand on her communicator for a moment, and at that moment, the anchor starts to slip out of her hand,
"No! No! No!" She yells, "I'm losing my grip on it!"
"Okay, how high up are you?" Gary asks,
"About uh, halfway up?" Katrina grunts back, struggling "And I sort of rrrr… Drifted towards the cave a bit,"
"Oh crap," Xavier's eyes go wide as the realisation of what was implied dawns on him.
"G-get out of the cave now Xavier!" Katrina yells before she finally loses her grip and the anchor starts dropping.
Xavier swims as fast as possible, a golden necklace in his hand. The anchor starts to fall fast.
"Out of the way you two!" Katrina yells at the duo of Carol and Jake, pointing at them to move away.
The duo comply before Jake notices Xavier getting closer to the cave exit,
"Xavier!?" Jake yells in shock.
"Has something happened somewhere else?" Rory asks over the chat. "Bob just left the ship without any of the coins, he looked serious too."
"The cave's about to crumble!" Jake yells back, "And another contestant might be stuck there!"
"Wait what?" Rory questions for a moment before he gets serious and says, "I'm on my way."
The anchor then crashes onto the roof of the cave, causing enough damage to the structure for some rocks at the entrance to start to fall.
Xavier gets to the entrance as more rocks start to fall. Seeing a hole he manages to squeeze out, however, a rock falls as he makes it out, striking the breathing gear and diving suit he's wearing and giving both a large hole, sending the air flying out.
Everyone pauses, looking in frozen horror at what happened, especially Xavier, who points at it and his mouth, holding his breath.
"Out of the way!" Bob yells, arriving just in time to grab Xavier before he starts to speed upwards.
"W-wh-what just happened?" Katrina's voice quivers, before she speeds upwards, followed by Carol and Jake.
Rory swims to the former site of the cave, saying "Oh… Oh no…" to himself.
Jake suddenly yells over the speaker, "Everyone just… Stop talking."
"Are you sure?" Rory says, "Do you want us to meet up with you?"
"I don't think now's the right time to ask," Carol jumps in while looking over at Jake's worried expression.
Bob bursts out of the water, with Xavier draped over his shoulder. The giant softly puts him down on the dock, before taking his helmet off.
"Does anyone know CPR!?" Bob yells, panicked,
"What happened!?" Chris asks, genuinely surprised.
"Xavier's air tank got broken… He's gone unconscious! I don't know what to do!"
"I know some CPR!" Jake yelps as he climbs out over the water and runs over, "I'll do it," he then takes off his suit and runs over, starting to press on Xavier's chest. The contestants currently on land watch the situation.
"Is he going to be alright?" Katrina quickly asks, concerned.
"Just give me a minute," Jake says back before continuing to press, eventually leaning down to perform a rescue breath, which causes Xavier to spit some water out, and his breathing to start returning to normal. Jake smiles with relief before saying, "I think he's going to be alright."
While this happens, Katrina watches what's happening before she puts her hand over her mouth, the full reality of the situation dawning on her.
Confessional:
"H-holy shit… I-I nearly…" is all that a mortified Katrina can sputter out. "No…"
Confessional Ends:
The Former Intern then sits down, simply saying, "I need… I need five minutes…"
Don quickly jumps in and addresses the contestants, saying, "Look, everyone up here, just stay here for a couple of minutes, we'll pause the timer and figure out what to do." As soon as Don turns to Chris, causing the host to quickly say.
"That was a complete fluke! It's not my fault he's like this, I didn't cause this."
"That's what you're worried about here?" Don looks wide-eyed at the Host before his face morphs into disgust. "Saying it's not your fault? Not the person who nearly drowned?"
"Hey, I hope he's fine," Chris glares back, "But I'm just letting you know it's not my fault!"
"I cannot believe you," Don shoots back, exasperation in his voice before he walks away. "I'm going to get a lifeboat, it's the least we can do,"
"Uh, alright," Chris gulps, "this is not good,"
"You're worried?" Chef looks on at Chris, "That's actually surprisingly nice of y-"
"Yeah, Don's gonna try and spin it to get me fired!"
"Ah, there it is,"
After this, Gary pops his head above the water, seeing everyone milling around Xavier. After seeing Xavier on the ground, he looks surprised, saying, "Xavier?" After looking at the water, he thinks for a moment, before diving back under the sea.
Confessional:
"Xavier…" Gary starts, "Look, if he's in a bad position, then I genuinely feel bad for him, don't get me wrong…" Gary then glares at the screen, "But I need to make sure our team wins, and I'm pretty sure everyone else is or is going to be distracted by this, it's my time to shine."
Confessional Ends:
Landing near the cave, Gary finds the necklace Xavier was carrying earlier and snatches that up, before turning around and literally bumping into Myron.
"Huh?"
"Uh… hey?"
"Hi?" Nadia responds confused before Gary grabs some coins and a pearl on the ground before the trio swim up. After making it on land, Gary places the coins and jewellery and jumps back in the water.
Finding out the situation, the duo stay to watch over. Nadia steps over to Jake and puts her hand on his shoulder.
"You alright?"
"As long as he is, I'll be," Jake affirms.
Nadia smiles at him and says, "It'll be alright." Susan and Lauren then get out of the water as Lauren jogs over and puts a couple of coins in the chest. Lauren says to her team,
"Should we keep doing the challenge?"
"It's probably worth it for a couple of us to keep going," Nadia sighs, "Sure," The Fangirl nods before she and Susan jump in, though the latter isn't all too happy.
"Look, we have to at least try and make sure our team wins," Lauren seriously states, causing her teammate to grimace and say
"I guess you're right."
Over the next few minutes, small conversations pop up between the contestants while Gary, Lauren and Susan manage to sneak several more treasures and coins into their chests. Eventually, Don returns on a boat, with a group of medics, getting Xavier onto a stretcher, just before Xavier's eyes flutter open.
"Wh-what's going on?" He asks as the other campers start to stand around him. He then coughs and spits out some water.
"You're alright?" Bob yells, "You feel good?"
"Yeah… Felt better but I'm-" another cough occurs before he continues, "I'll live,"
"Xavier!?" Jake yells from a few meters away, "Are you alright!?"
"Yeah I am, I'll be-" he coughs, "I'm gonna be fine, don't worry-" he coughs again. "I think I'm fine at least,"
"You're still going to the infirmary," Don says to him with a serious voice, "We've got to see if you've got any permanent damage," and with that, Xavier is pushed onto a boat.
Don walks up to Chris and simply says, "Just finish the challenge early Chris,"
"Wait, now!?" Chris yells back,
"Yes… Now," Don then gets on the boat as it rides away
Chris mutters, walking away and saying, "Fine, let's just count it up," Chris closes the chest on the Tiger's chest right as Gary swims up from out of the water and puts a goblet in his team's chest. Chris then closes the Lion's one, causing Gary to sigh and climb on the platform.
"Hopefully that's enough."
"Were you…?" Jemma starts as Gary gets out of the water,
"We needed to win," The Theatre Kid cuts in, taking deep breaths, "I hope he's good, but if nobody else was going to do it then I had to give us those extra points,"
"Still feels pretty messed up," Bob adds.
"Ah well, we'll just have to see if we win, then you can judge me." Lauren and Susan get back on the platform not long after.
Meanwhile, Katrina sits on the ground, looking sad.
Nadia walks over and softly says, "Hey,"
"Not… Not now," The Intern replies back, to which the Hot Blooded respects her wishes and steps away.
Nothing else is properly said between the campers for the next few minutes, mainly just awkward staring between everyone. Chris then walks over and starts to explain the results.
"After counting the points up, the team with the higher amount of points are…" The eleven campers that are currently on the platform look on, with Gary in particular, glaring.
.

"The Frozen Lions! And only by about five points as well. You all win immunity, though to be completely honest if you lost there probably wouldn't have been a specific elimination. The Electric Tigers, on the other hand, will be going to elimination today! So prepare to head down there tonight!"
The Tigers all groan while The Lion's expressions vary from relieved smiles to still looking concerned. Gary sighs with relief.
Confessional:
"And so, I'm safe for another day." Gary smiles, "That is a big relief. I don't think I'm in the clear right now. Though, from what I've heard about what happened, Katrina probably isn't making friends based on what she did in this challenge. Even if it's an accident it's a pretty bad one. So having another day is good for me to pull them away."
Confessional Ends:
While rowing back to Base Camp, Katrina lags behind everyone, not properly paying attention. Lauren rows up next to her.
"What's up?" Lauren questions.
"Seriously?" Katrina yells back, "I nearly killed someone, can't I just feel guilty about nearly killing someone in peace?"
"Geez alright, just wanted to see if you were alright," Lauren states defensively. Katrina simply rows away.
"Maybe I don't want to feel better?" Katrina mutters to herself, before continuing, "Hopefully Xavier's willing to talk to me,"
Arriving back at Base Camp, Nadia meets up with Jake, "Hey, how're things going with Carol?"
"Pretty good, just a little bit more and she'll be in the clear. I'll need a bit more time though."
"Sweet," The Latina nods, "Good luck with that then,"
"Thanks," The Leader smiles weakly before he walks to the cabins, meeting up with Carol in the upstairs rooms.
"So just making sure, you do want to talk with Susan? Because now is the time if you do,"
"Yep," Carol nods with a smile, before continuing, "But I want her to hear my side too."
"I'll make sure of that," Jake comments with a smirk as the duo fist bump. "How about you talk in an empty room or something?"
"Sure," Carol then walks away. Susan then steps around the corner having watched, looking at him. The Leader looks at her and says, "You're welcome."
"Let's do this then," Susan nods before they walk away. After a few minutes, In a room with a desk, Susan walks in, with Carol already sitting. The brainiac starts by simply saying, "Hi,"
"Hey," The superhero says back, a neutral expression plastered on her face, "How are you doing?"
"Good, how about you?" The Genius smiles, but her former friend continues to not show emotions.
"Fine enough,"
"Okay, guess we should just get into it," Susan says awkwardly, Carol nods before several seconds of silence happen,
"So…" The Comic Fan starts to say, "Anything you want to say before I start?" Susan stares at her, before gulping.
"I think we both know what," Susan begins.
"Any criminals you want me to fight?" The superhero replies curtly.
"Look I'm sorry, okay?" Susan calls out. "I'm… Sorry about how things turned out." Carol looks at her, her face giving way to feeling hurt and upset, before she stands up and starts to pace, speaking to her…
"Sorry… That's all you have to say? Really? Guess I should just push everything to the side 'cause you said one five-letter word! 'Cause that's how the world works!"
"Carol, come on," Susan calls out, sounding a little annoyed. "I know you're upset, but it was all a misunderstanding, let me just explain, and then we can be friends again!"
"I'm naive Susan, but I'm not stupid. Why should I ever trust you again?"
"Carol, can you just give me a chance to explain?" Susan asks, getting annoyed, "I mean geez at least I listened to people back at ho-" with that, Carol sees red.
"SUSAN!" The Brainiac stops, realising she struck a nerve. "You're not seeing the big picture!" If looks could kill then Susan would be dead by Carol's eyes, "You're popular, if someone stops being your friend, you'll be absolutely fine, you have like, 200 others anyway, but me? I was like, the third least popular person in my grade at school, and the other two are only less popular because one was the racist school bully and the other was the kind of person that I wouldn't be surprised to see ending up in the newspaper for something awful they did three years from now!
Do you know how hard it is to be put in the same camp as those two? Of course not. But hey, I found a friend, someone smart, popular, maybe they can give me tips and while I won't change who I am, I can at least build up confidence and make people like me more, but no. You wrapped me around your finger, wound me up like a toy for your amusement."
"Carol please-" Susan begins before Carol cuts her off.
"No Susan, listen to my side for once. Honestly, why should I forgive you? How can I trust you're going to actually be my friend this time? I can't because even if I forgive you, some small, itty-bitty part of me is going to think 'What if she's just manipulating me again?' I mean hell, part of me even thinks this is MY fault as much as yours!" Saying that last sentence out loud causes both girls to gasp and open their eyes wide, Carol immediately starts to take deep breaths to try and calm herself. "I… I shouldn't have said that."
Susan sits, stirring in the information she just took in before she begins with, "It's not your fault. It really isn't, it's all me, and I have come to accept that over the last couple of days. Reflecting on everything, I don't know if I can earn back your forgiveness, but I… want to at least give it a go. This isn't even about the game, if I go home, I will have to accept that too, but I just want to earn your friendship back."
Carol sits down, her voice starting to quiver. "Look, it's not really that simple," she admits, "I'm kind of… Sick of dealing with people using me…"
"Is there even a small chance I can make it up to you then?" Susan asks, "I know you don't believe me but I did genuinely treasure the time we had together as friends."
Carol pauses to think before sighing. "Look, I won't be a jerk to you, I won't try to avoid you, and I probably won't vote you this elimination at least, but you have to prove to me either outside the season, or next episode if you survive that you aren't just going to go and manipulate me more, actions speak louder than words at this point, and I want to see actions from you… Not words."
"I'm willing to give that a try," Susan nods, determination on her face.
Carol looks at her and says, "Thank you…" Before pausing, "As of right now, to use a phrase from a show I like… We're like oil and vinegar. We go together, but we don't mix… Maybe some time we can become salt and vinegar."
Carol puts her hand out to shake and Susan agrees, shaking it. "Thank you for giving me a second chance," Susan comments, sounding serious. Carol simply sighs, before clarifying.
"It's not a second chance," the superhero wannabe frowns before continuing, "Just, please don't make me regret this, I don't want more trust issues than I already have,"
"I'll try," Susan smiles sadly before Carol stands up, smiles back weakly and walks away
"Thanks for letting me get that off my chest," Carol says to Jake, walking away. The leader then walks into the room with Susan leaning back on the chair and letting out a relieved chuckle.
"So…" Jake begins, "after hearing what was said,-"
"Does that count as making up with her?" Susan asks, cutting him off.
"You are starting to fix things with her," he starts, "Look, I'm not sure, I want to help you, but at the same time, I've got other things to do in the game and I do want to try for that million. I am willing to help you, but you don't have her on your side fully so I might need to vote you tonight to keep my game going…"
Susan looks up at him mad, "Oh so just like that, my game's screwed because you don't want to help me, you coward."
"Hey don't turn this around," The leader defensively states, putting his hands up, "I've stuck my neck out for you, but I just want to make sure I'm in the clear, it's not my fault you screwed yourself over" Susan's glare fades,
"Sorry," Susan groans, sitting down, "I just… Didn't think it would end like this," she admits, "I mean… I can't even prove anything to anyone, even you probably have doubts in your head about me.
"Look, I'll find some way to prove your innocence," Jake says, "And you might potentially just have to fix everything after the season's done. Just don't give up… There's got to be something right?"
"Yeah, I guess," Susan sighs, before looking back at Jake, more determined, "You're right, if I lose, then I'll find a way back in, Chris isn't going to want to lose out on my Drama with the rest of the team, especially Rory, Carol and Lauren." Susan takes a few deep breaths before smirking again, "Maybe I can claim I have an idol?"
"That's probably taking it a bit too far,"
"Possibly…" Susan then speaks off-handedly, "Though Lauren also said she had it earlier," This causes Jake to look at her shocked before yelling out,
"SHE WHAT!?" This causes Susan to flinch "How much earlier!?"
"Around the start of this challenge, I'm 50/50 on whether or not she was lying," Jake facepalms,
"You are aware… That I am not voting Myron or Nadia off right?" Jake begins,
"So, you're gonna vote me off?" Susan glares back,
"Yeah, most likely, maybe I'll find a way to let her get the votes so she can waste it to double-check," Jake admits. "If she does then the idol's gone,"
"And so am I," Susan glares at him.
"Yes, but I can convince Nadia and Myron to vote off Lauren next, she's gone and not going to cause any more issues,"
"I want to stay in the game if you're doing something like that," Susan simply states back,
"Well, I'm sorry but that's kind of an impossibly difficult task right now considering what you just told me," Jake says back, "And I'm sort of starting to get sick of your tone with me,"
"Look I'm not used to all this okay!?" Susan yells before she paces. "Seriously, things are completely fine at home most of the time, I'm not the most talkative one of my group but we are the head honchos of the graduates in my town pretty much and I'm in like, the top 3 slots of it. This is a wildly different experience than normal and I'm sorry if I'm not reacting well to being treated like a piece of gum on the bottom of everyone's collective shoes and then not being able to fix it by the time I take those fireworks!" Susan quickly and angrily breathes in after her rant as Jake looks at her pityingly and nods.
"I understand, I really do, and if you want to vent to me about it that's fine, but don't direct your anger about it onto like I broke into your house and stole all your valuables. Cause it comes across like you're just blaming me for everything at this point," Susan sees Jake's face during all this and realises how she's been acting.
"You're right," She reflects, "I've passed Denial, skipped ahead to Bargaining second and now I'm doubling back and doing Anger, but it shouldn't be directed at you,"
"Good, so I will most likely vote for you, but don't worry, you'll be able to clear your name after the season, and I'll actively work to make people feel better about you, how about that?"
"Alright," Susan nods,
"Good," The leader replies, "Cause I need to go, Nadia's probably wondering where I went off to, and I want to check on Xavier and see if he's alright." As he goes to leave, Susan stops him, saying,
"One more thing,"
"Sure, what is it?" He responds,
"Thank you for trusting me enough to help me out,"
"No problem," The leader smiles back before they both walk away
Confessional:
"If Susan goes I'm not affected since I have a soon-to-be majority alliance," Jake starts to explain, "if she gets Carol and Rory I'm in her good books and maybe we can get that trio to split the votes in some way to make it a 3-2-1 vote? Things are cool from here, I'm fine."
Confessional Ends:
Myron paces around, deep in thought, before he sees Nadia walking and says, "Hey Nadia!"
"Myron?" The Hot-Blooded asks, before continuing, "What's up?"
"How's Jake doing?" the nerd questions,
"He's fine," Nadia looks confused, "Why are you even worried?"
"I haven't heard anything from him, you talk with me, he's not doing it,"
"Seriously that's it?" Nadia asks, starting to get annoyed. "Okay, I can get feeling worried, but just because he's not being overly talkative to you today doesn't mean he's plotting to stick a knife in your back or anything. Total Drama makes you worried, I get that, but overall you have to give some small level of trust in people. So get that trust and shut up."
"Oh… A-alright," Myron comments, walking away. Nadia folds her arms in annoyance.
Confessional:
"Okay I was a little bit harsh there I guess," Nadia shrugs, "but he's been complaining about Jake 'not trusting him' several times to me today, and it starting to piss me off. Jake is trustworthy, honest and smart, and just because he doesn't say literally every word to Myron, doesn't mean he's planning some big double-cross." She then sighs, "Myron better not get pissy about my response."
"Okay I need to shut up," Myron says. "I'm not going to try and piss those two off more than I have, 'cause I honestly have been annoying today. It's just worrying okay?"
Confessional Ends:
Xavier lays in a bed in the infirmary, bored and annoyed. "Do I have to stay here for much longer?"
"As long as you're alright Xavier," a doctor says as he walks in. The method actor snaps back with.
"I'm fine, I swear."
"We still have to make sure before we clear you." The doctor continues, smiling, "You're talking fine, but drowning does not do good things to the body, you're lucky to have been saved."
"Yeah, I guess…" He then sighs, "Sorry about yelling, it just feels… Annoying being stuck here."
"It's alright," The doctor replies with a nod, "If it makes you feel any better, we cleared it for other contestants to see you if they wish, and two of them were right at the front of the queue."
"Okay, lets see them then." A nurse then walks over to the entrance of the tent, saying.
"He's ready to see you two now," before she lets the duo of Bob and Jake enter.
"Are you alright?" Jake says, "Say something,"
"Something," Xavier says back, sarcastically, before changing into a mobster's voice. "Or do you want me to say something like a mafia goon that goes hehe, good one boss!"
"Yep, that's you alright," Jake adds before Xavier coughs causing both to look concerned at him.
"Are you sure you're alright though?" Bob asks, worried. "You woke up, but still."
"I've taken worse," Xavier comments back with a shrug, "Only bad thing is that I can still taste seawater in my mouth,"
"I'm so sorry, it's my fault you drowned." The giant slouches. "If I just got out faster,-"
"Dude, it's not your fault, I mean, you're one of the people I'd trust the most to save me from that situation," Xavier then motions to Bob's physique, "You're a great friend for getting me out." He then smiles and adds, "Anyways, could you see someone like Alfred pulling me up there?
The scene then cuts to a room in the loser's resort, with Megan and Alfred both sitting, and Alfred having headphones on, listening to Megan's music. He then pulls them off in surprise, catching Megan off guard too.
"I don't know for sure, but I think someone just said my name," Alfred states with a glare forming right after, "And I don't believe it was all that positive of a context,"
"Uhhh, alright then?" Megan shrugs, completely confused.
The scene goes back to the trio in the infirmary. Jake leans in to whisper in Xavier's ear, "Hey, can we talk… Privately?" Xavier looks surprised with a raised eyebrow but then nods with a smile and turns to Bob to say.
"Hey, Bob is it alright if I talk to Jake about something for a moment alone?"
"Oh, alright," Bob replies, starting to walk away. He looks back for one moment to worriedly look at his friend who smiles and nods before fully exiting.
"I was so worried about you…" Jake mumbles, sighing before he looks up and says, "There were these rumours going around that if you weren't feeling better Don was considering taking you out of the game,"
"Wait really?" Xavier replies, looking surprised, "But I… Wasn't that bad was I?"
"Look I'm not overly sure myself," Jake says, "All I know is you sound alright now, and that's all that matters." Xavier then thinks back for a second, before he realises.
"Someone had to do the whole CPR thing, who was it? Jemma? Rory?" After seeing the flush of red on Jake's face, Xavier asks, "Was it you?" Jake's face gets even brighter.
"I uh, took some first aid courses so I knew the moves but I wasn't sure if I was doing it right… I think I was panicking too much."
"Thanks for the help," The Method Actor then chuckles before he gets back on topic. "Well, that can't be all you wanted to talk privately to me about, what else?"
Jake gulps and says, "Okay, well… Were you there last challenge?"
"For a bit, but not the entire time,"
"Okay, let me rephrase that," The Leader jumps in, "Did you hear what I said last challenge?"
"No?" Xavier questions, "What, did you say something," Jake looks at him with wide eyes,
"Oh, of course, you didn't…" The Problem Solver shakes his head, worried, "W-well… I… I said…" Jake sighs. "Well… I came out,"
"You… Came out?" Xavier questions, "As in like, came out of the closet?"
"Y-yeah," Jake looks away, "My whole fear was coming out in front of everyone and my dad, and since I can't hide it, I may as well say that… I have a crush on… You?"
Xavier looks shocked for a moment, "You… Do?"
"Yeah, Nadia convinced me to come and tell you in person."
"Well, that's great to hear!" Xavier smiles, "I'm happy going out with you too!" Looking up, seeing Jake's face still concerned he continues, "What's wrong?"
"Here's the thing," Jake quickly states, "Let me just say, I do want to go out with you," He then stands and starts to pace. "I've just had a long few days and I just want to have a couple of days to think about… Everything first before we officially start,"
"That's alright," Xavier quickly says with a smile, "I can wait a little while longer, when you're ready then just let me know and we can make things official."
"Wait really?" Jake says, caught off guard.
"Yeah, take as long as you need. If one of us goes next or something then we can just officially get together after the season finishes, or even a few months down the line, I'm usually a patient guy, just not in hospital beds apparently."
"A-are you sure?"
"Yep," Xavier nods, before both look at each other and then hug.
"Cool," Jake smiles back, "I'm sorry about not doing it right now,"
"That's fine," Both look at each other, "Didn't your team lose?"
"We did, I should probably get things in order for the elimination," Jake admits, going to leave, but pausing. "I did some things, but not all of it,"
"Then go, I'm fine staying here if you need to go,"
"Thanks," Jake then leaves, letting Xavier stay laying down, before laying down. He asks himself, "I wonder how Bob's doing?"
The scene then cuts to Bob, who walks towards the woods, annoyed but focused.
Confessional:
"Gary's probably got some stupid thing to tell me about the alliance," he then looks ahead, "Plus, call it a hunch, but if I can sneak up on Gary while he's not realising, he could potentially let slip to me the location of my plush, well enough and he might not even know I'm there."
Confessional Ends:
Bob jumps into a bush to hide before he watches Lauren walk up to a bored and annoyed Gary
"Congrats on winning the challenge," Lauren begins, "you're the MVP too, the teams do enjoy keeping people who win challenges until at least the merge,"
"Small issue, those idiots are gonna get mad at me for not dropping everything to see Xavier like the rest of them did."
"Susan and I didn't on our team," Lauren shrugs. "Honestly, you were behind, it's worth it at this point to do that. It's a game, and Xavier's annoyed at you, I'd say they'd all understand if they were smart."
"I get it," Gary sighs, "But I doubt the rest of the people on my team will. Katrina and I are the only two with any sense of playing the game, Jemma used to, but she's lost that after her alliance started falling."
"Well if you can get Katrina out then you'll be the only one that has any of those skills left eh? That means you're in a great spot."
"I guess," Gary stands back up, looking somewhat determined.
"What votes do you have anyway?" The fangirl asks,
"Possibly Jemma and definitely Bob,"
"You're very certain on Bob," Lauren questions, before smiling, "What makes you think that?"
"It hasn't been long enough, I don't trust you."
"Suuuuure," Lauren smirks, "Not because you don't actually have anything."
"No, I do have him, and I know exactly what you're doing, you're trying to manipulate me by saying I'm bad so I'll go 'well actually',"
"You got me, darn," Lauren snaps her fingers sarcastically.
"I respect the attempt though," Gary admits, "Look, I'll give you a tiny bit, but nowhere near the full story." Bob from in the bush, freezes.
"Really?" Lauren answers, intrigued.
"Sure, why not," The Theatre Kid shrugs before saying, "I'm hiding something for him in the general area,"
"Blackmail?" Lauren asks, "Interesting choice. How do you know he won't find whatever it is?"
"It's hidden somewhere only I know about, and nobody else is going to learn it, including you."
"Ouch, okay," Lauren then rolls her eyes, "You better hope you don't regret that in a bit."
"Why would I regret it?" Gary replies, "as I said, he's not going to find it,"
"And what of the off chance he does?" Lauren counters,
"Then I'm just going to get Xavier back on my side and make sure Jemma's good and then we can get Katrina and Bob out, simple as that."
"You give yourself too much credit," Lauren shakes her head, "You're not unstoppable, one day you'lll fail, and I'll be there, in the back, watching as it happens, maybe even eating popcorn"
"Is that a challenge?" The theatre kid questions,
"No… It's a promise. If you want one bit of advice from me? Stop acting like you're the big boss of everyone, Morgan did that and look where that led him? He's Chris's slave now."
The theatre kid pauses at this, "Confidence is key though, do you want me to just become male Megan or something?"
"Obviously not," Lauren shoots back, "But don't be full of yourself either,"
"Okay, okay I get it," Gary walks around, leading Bob to slowly move to squatting behind a tree so he can get a better view.
"But anyway, you really aren't going to say where whatever the thing is? I can help keep watch,"
"Look, let's just say I have a hiding spot," Gary admits, "On this island so I can check on it constantly." Bob freezes in surprise
"Are you sure you want to say that out loud?" Lauren asks, "Someone could have just heard that,"
"I doubt anyone's here, and even if someone's heard, I didn't say the specific spot, and I can probably find them, most of these morons can't keep a neutral face about something like this."
"What…" Bob whispers to himself before he steps back, staying squatted. Unfortunately for him, as he steps back, a crack is heard. Looking down, Bob sees a broken stick.
"Did you hear something?" Gary stands up with a start,
"Yep, someone heard," Lauren glares, "Told you."
"I'll have a look around and see."
Bob quickly and carefully steps around the rest of the sticks in the forest and Gary starts to walk in the general area. Seeing Gary about to go past the bushes and tree he was at, Bob sits against another tree and holds his breath,
Gary sees the broken stick Bob stepped on, causing him to mutter, "Someone might actually have…" before he picks up the stick and breaks it, dropping it and turning back to Lauren, "Nope nothing to worry about,"
Bob sighs in relief, though his face still looks panicked.
He quickly moves away, making sure not to step on anything.
Confessional:
"Well," Bob begins, "This is both great, and at the same time, terrifying," He looks ahead worried. "I now know the fact that what's been stolen from me is at base camp… In all honesty, I thought he would have hidden it on Earth Island or something. But at the same time, he knows someone was watching, though I don't think he knew it was me specifically, there's still a chance he's going to move it but I need to find a way to hide that I know this info from Gary. Then I can get him distracted for long enough that I can figure out exactly where it is." He then starts to think, "Wait a sec, Lauren had a nice, long chat with him, I'm gonna have to keep my eyes on her now too."
"Bob's a big threat," Lauren admits, "If Gary's keeping him on a leash then Gary's a threat by proxy. If I can get both under a leash then I become a threat, but as long as I play safe and hidden enough then people won't know about lil' ol' Lauren, terrified and alone at final three, against two big, mean, aligned, idiots," The Total Drama fan starts to chuckle. "And that's only my backup plan if things go south with Carol,"
Confessional Ends:
Exiting the woods quickly, Bob walks over towards a shed, mostly ignored by the contestants up to this point. After swinging the door open and seeing a few different things lining the walls such as one of the goggles from the fear challenge and a jetpack from the fire hoop duelling, he nods with a smile and says, "This place might be useful,"
The next part of his plan involves Bob travelling to the back of the Spa Hotel, Bob knocks on the door for a moment before Nadia opens and simply looks at him.
"What do you want?"
"Can I have something to write on?" Nadia pauses at the question, thinking before saying,
"Eh, sure, just don't come in," Nadia leaves for a moment before rolling a large whiteboard out. "Take this,"
"That's bigger than I thought, thanks!"
"No worries," The hothead smiles before Bob goes to wheel it away. "Consider this paying it forward for Hannah 's elimination, I couldn't take her and Tegan's bickering for much longer."
"Oh uh… You're welcome I guess," Bob awkwardly smiles before wheeling it away.
Nadia looks out the window, watching Bob leave and travel towards the shed. "Interesting…" is all she says before she walks off.
Confessional:
"Look at some point down the line I need allies on the other team, and if I can potentially force myself into an alliance with Bob maybe I can become friends with him?" Nadia shrugs. "Okay, not friends, but at least an ally,"
Confessional Ends:
Myron sits down across from Rory by a fireplace.
"How're you doing?" Myron asks, Rory smiles before saying.
"Fine enough, better than yesterday at least," both chuckle.
"That's good to hear," The nerd sniles.
"So we lost again," Rory sighs, "Wish we could have our two team members lead still," Myron looks up at him and happily states.
"Well, we also know that we aren't going, so that's a plus at least," Rory nods back,
"Yeah, that's true," The duo look at each other.
"I can't claim to know what you're going through," Myron begins, "But I just want you to know that things are gonna be better," Rory smiles at this.
"Thanks, man." The duo continue to relax, no words being exchanged for a few moments.
"Also, I may have potentially gotten us past a few eliminations if we go on a losing streak,"
"What would that be?" Rory questions back, "An alliance?"
"Yeah, with Nadia and Jake,"
"Cool, that sounds fine, they're both nice,"
"Two things though, first, you're not in it, but I did tell Nadia that if you got voted off before we were 4 members then I'm not in the alliance,"
"Alright…" The sports star says, looking at his friend with a raised eyebrow.
"And secondly, I'm not gonna say it to anyone else, but Jake's worrying me, Nadia got me in the alliance and Jake never really talks with me," Rory looks at him with a tilted head.
"That is a bit off,"
"Yeah. I do think it might be the stress of the game though, I feel like I owe it to Megan and Morgan to win the game, or at least get to the final 2,"
"Alright, I'd say it might be that then. You never know, he might have valid reasons for speaking to other people."
"Yeah, I guess so,"
"At this point, I'd blame Chris for letting you get stressed, it lets you take the blame off of everyone else," Rory's explanation causes Myron to smile.
"Good point, Chris is such a jerk," both chuckle to each other before the scene cuts to a close-up video of Chris and Chef, with the latter looking confused.
"Hmm," Chris pauses, a frown on his face.
"What?" Chef asks,
"I just heard someone complaining about me?" The Host thinks out loud.
"That's usual isn't it?" His co-host replies,
"Well yeah… But I dunno, it'd feel wrong not to think about this for some reason… Like it's the third time this was done this episode or something…"
"Seriously Chris," Chef glares back, "We're watching the people edit the episode now," the scene zooms out to show Chris, Chef and two editors in a small room,
"Well, this better be added in then," Chris grumbles, crossing his arms.
The scene then changes back to Myron and Rory relaxing in their seats.
"Well, we're safe tonight at least," Myron shrugs,
"Yeah," Rory says back, "No need to worry," a voice then calls out over the loudspeaker.
"Okay Tigers, it's elimination time!"
"Speaking of which," Myron glares ahead, a determined smile on his face.
"Let's go then," The Jock replies before the duo leaves the cabin.
Elimination Ceremony 7 (Electric Tigers Elimination 3):
"Well, well, well…" Chris starts, "Welcome to your next elimination Tigers. You had the lead, the other team distracted, and the numbers, yet you still let the Lions scrape by with a victory? What happened?"
"Well someone nearly drowning would sort of distract us from the challenge, even if they're on the other team," Nadia comments, annoyed.
"Okay, that's reasonable," Chris glares, "but Gary didn't get distracted and he's on Xavier's team, even potentially friends with him,"
"Are you just going to spend this elimination telling us we should have not focused on the person we thought could have potentially died?" Rory asks, exasperated.
Chris pauses for a few moments before saying, "Well maybe I was, maybe I wasn't…" He then quickly follows up with, "Who do you think will go home?"
"Honestly it's not really too much of a question," Myron states, shrugging before he looks at Susan, who looks back at him with an annoyed expression.
"Well it's time to vote anyways, so go and do so. Well, actually…" Before Chris can continue, Carol stands up and says,
"I'll vote first," before going to walk off, Chef, however, stops her from going ahead before Chris sighs,
"Hold your horses, I've got something to reveal first…"
"Okay?" Rory questions, "What is it?"
Chris looks at the campers with contempt before saying, "Due to… Unforeseen events today… Don and the producers have made the decision to… Cancel today's elimination," This causes gasps to erupt from all the Tigers.
"Really?" Lauren looks ahead surprised,
"Yeah…" Chris grumbles, "Let it be known, I wanted an elimination to happen, but no, you can all go to bed safe, and still competing for the million bucks. Consider yourself lucky that Xavier nearly got himself killed, he's the only thing stopping us from getting one of you out of here."
"Why did you even get us down here then?" Myron questions, annoyed.
"Because I wanted to at the very least make a good show for the audience," Chris shrugs, "Make them think someone was leaving."
"I can respect that," Lauren shrugs before nodding.
"Yeah, we really don't have much to do here now…" Chris notes, "Uhh, you can go if you want I guess,"
Confessional:
"That was lucky," Susan sighs, before following up with, "Too lucky. I've started to fix things to an extent with Carol… But now it's Rory's turn… And that's going to be about… 500 times worse? Even then, I'm probably undershooting it a bit,"
Confessional Ends:
As everyone stands up and walks away, Susan walks over to Rory, who stayed sitting on his log.
"Oh… Susan," Rory starts, respectfully but curtly.
"Uhh, hi," The Brainiac waves before she looks on hopefully.
"Are you here to try and apologise or something?" Rory asks.
"Well yeah," was the response. "I'm sorry about… Everything," Rory shakes his head before sighing.
"I'm being as blunt as possible," Rory then stands up and admits with a frown, "but I don't accept it. I'll be as respectful as I possibly can be to you, but it's way too early for me to even think about forgiving. I don't know when it'll be long enough, but it sure as hell isn't now."
He then walks away, leaving The Brainiac to stand here, sighing to herself.
Several feet away, Rory sighs and he starts to try to control his breathing.
Confessional:
"It was difficult to actually say that," Rory admits. "Not the whole not forgiving her thing, I still don't… Actually talking to her was the issue. She's gonna try and crawl back into the team and I know that, but she still played with my heart and it kind of hurts seeing she's still in. Ultimately though, I shouldn't be moody and angry to the whole team for one person's actions, so I'm going to make an effort to be generally nicer to everyone," The jock nods his head with a smile.
Confessional Ends:
Morgan smiles, leaning back outside the interns cabin, "That's what you get," is all he says before seeing Susan walking towards the cabin, causing him to look up confused. "How did…?"
Confessional:
Morgan looks genuinely confused as he says, "How did Susan survive? She was out? Did she somehow get the team back?" After a moment he then realises the order people were walking back and starts to count it off to himself, "Wait, Myron, Jake, Nadia, Lauren, Carol, Rory, Susan… THAT'S SEVEN! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE ELIMINATION! WHAT THE HELL WHY COULDN'T I GET BAILED OUT OF MY ELIMINATION!"
Confessional Ends:
Meanwhile, Carol walks away from the elimination, away from the rest of the team, before suddenly hearing "Hey, Carol!"
The superhero looks around to see Bob. "Oh hey Bob, what's going on?"
"Can you help me out with something tomorrow?" The giant asks.
"Sure," Carol says back. Both look at each other before Carol smiles and says "Turns out we didn't even get to send anyone home cause of what happened today,"
"Lucky," Bob shakes his head, "I swear, Chris has some kind of favouritism towards your team,"
"I mean, maybe, you never know. But I won't complain if that's the case," both chuckle.
"I'm still gonna make the merge though," Bob confidently smirks, "Then I can prove for good that I'm better than you,"
"Oh, you would say that," Carol grins, "All I have to do is learn your regimen to get like that and translate it into training and I've got everything over you,"
"Doubt you could do that fast," Bob snarks back, "it's taken me a decade to get like this. He then pauses, his smile fading.
"What's wrong?" Carol asks.
"Just… Thinking, sorry," he replies. "I've probably said this like, a million times before, but thank you for listening to me and hearing me talk and all that,"
"It's fine, we outcasts need to stick together!" The superhero puts her hand on his shoulder, Carol and Bob then hug each other, with the former starting to blush.
"Are you…?" Bob starts to ask.
"What? What's wrong?" Carol asks, her face getting even redder.
"Don't worry, you just look worried,"
"Hahaha," Carol fake laughs as she stands up, "One sec!" She calls out, stepping away and behind the wall. Carol takes a few deep breaths, "He hugged me."
Confessional:
"Get it together Carol," The superhero says to herself, slapping herself before she looks at the camera, quickly yelling, "I don't have a crush on him or anything so don't think I do!" her face then blushes a deep red as she looks downwards, worried, realisation dawning. "Oh shit… I do have a crush. I don't want to make things awkward though if he says no." She groans.
Confessional Ends:
Carol walks back to Bob, taking breaths before saying, "S-sorry about that,"
"All good," Bob shrugs, before he continues, "So you are down to help me out?"
"Sure, what's the issue?"
"Well I think I have a way to solve my issues with the plush," Bob begins, "I need to get a plan together though,"
"Oh yay!" Carol claps happily, "That's cool, do 'ya want my help with the planning?"
"I should be good," Bob smiles, "You hanging out with me might get your team to think you're in some cross-team alliance or something, so come by tomorrow."
"Alrighty," Carol smiles before both sit in silence for a few moments. Carol then realises something and asks Bob.
"By the way, how's Xavier?"
Bob shrugs, "I'm not sure, I went to his bed and he was fine then but had to leave after a bit, Jake wanted to talk with him."
"So he's awake? But there was this whole thing saying he's hurt really bad and got taken out of the game?" Carol continues,
"Wait people are?" Bob looks shocked, "I haven't heard anything about it,"
"Really? That's weird," she admits. "I hope he's alright anyway," she smiles sadly.
The scene then cuts back to Xavier sitting in his hospital bed, waiting as a nurse walks over to him,
"If I'm going to be stuck in here with nothing to do can I at least get a game console or something? Nothing against you guys, but this is pretty boring,"
"Funny you should mention that actually," the nurse responds as Don walks into the room, "You're pretty much clear to go but Don needs to talk to you first,"
"Oh, alright," The method actor shrugs.
"Hello Xavier," Don starts, looking at the method actor with a serious smile. "Sorry, you had to take so long in here."
"It's fine," Xavier comments annoyed, "But can I just go back to the others?"
"That's actually what we're here about," Don says, "It looks like you just answered for us but still, we are legally required to ask you so, apologies in advance. You are cleared to return to the game medically, but we aren't sure psychologically. Do you want to continue in the competition? Or do you wish to drop out now? There's no shame in leaving the game,"
Xavier pauses for a few seconds before saying, "I'm not going to leave my team with 4 members against the other team's 6."
"Firstly it would be seven, the Tiger's elimination got cancelled today because of this whole situation."
"That's even worse!" Xavier yells back. Don cuts Xavier off by saying.
"Wait a second, there's more. Secondly, we are legally obliged to move a contestant of your choice onto the other team had you chosen to leave this way, or barring that, bring another contestant back into the game to take your place." Xavier looks at Don. "If you were to leave this way, we will also give you a settlement of around $50,000."
"So I won't sue," Xavier responds.
"As an apology for what has transpired," Don corrects. "If you return to the game, you forfeit that money to continue going for the Million dollars."
"Geez Don, it's like you want me to leave the game." The Method Actor chuckles, "I'm still game to compete though, and I want to win. Plus, I have unfinished business I have to attend to."
"So you want to rejoin the game then? Just giving you one last chance to go, but you don't have to feel pressured." Xavier stares Don down.
.
.
.
.
.
"I'm still competing Don," Xavier states, "And I'm not going to change my mind."
"Alright then," Don replies before he pulls a clipboard out. "Then just sign this document and you're free to go out and see everyone,"
Xavier looks at the contract and says "Huh… So this is a waiver, getting rid of any chances of me trying to sue,"
"Pretty much," Don nods.
Xavier chuckles, "Ah well." He signs before getting out of the bed and walking out.
The Method Actor walks out with a smile before he sees Katrina watching the tent.
"You're still alive?" The former intern asks in relief as she jogs over. "Look, I'm so sorry about everything, I didn't mean for it to happen." She looks down with a pained expression.
"All good," Xavier smiles, "It was an accident, and I'm fine, just make sure you don't nearly kill me again, and hey, I can accept your apology."
"Really?" Katrina looks up.
"Yeah," Xavier nods, "Should you have gotten Bob's help lifting that anchor? Yeah, but can we do anything about it now? No. The fact that you came to me and you're showing remorse is a testament to you actually feeling bad, so as long as you let us help you and don't go running off to do more in a challenge than you can handle like today, then I'll be fine with you."
Katrina looks over at Xavier, her frown turning into a smile, "Alright, I'm fine with that."
"Good," Xavier smiles, "Let's get back to being a team. And get us some more wins." The duo then walk away.
The scene changes to Chris, sitting at the Fireworks of Shame, frowning and groaning.
"Stupid show not giving the elimination..."
"You need to stop complaining," Chef grunts in annoyance as he walks up. "Let the season play out, it's not going to kill you to miss one episode of launching someone away,"
"Yeah I know, but still…" Chris sighs, Don then walks over.
"Xavier's still competing, consider yourself lucky," Don's voice drips with venom. "The producers know what happened and how you reacted… Have fun." Don then gets his phone out and dials up a number, saying "Come by and pick me up at the docks."
Chris stands up, walking away from Don as Chef follows him. "Who will go next?" Chris angrily starts, "Who's gonna be our winner? And what's in store for everyone else next? Find out on TOTAL! DRAMA! ELEMENTAL ISLANDS!"
Chris then stomps away as Chef Follows, rolling his eyes.
"Here we go again," Chef says as he walks offscreen and the episode fades away.

Bonus Clip:
Richard and Tegan watch the sky, waiting. Tegan starts to impatiently tap her fingers.
"Any time now…" Richard mutters.
"Ugh, can whoever got sent home just get here already?" The complainer rhetorically questions, "I wanna take more selfies by the pool," She then gets her phone and takes a selfie, winking at the camera.
"Eventually, we just need to get told nobody's leaving," Richard replies, causing Tegan to groan in annoyance.
"And I'm stuck with you, you're so boring, only person it'd be worse to be stuck with is Alfred."
"Wow," Alfred replies angrily, walking over, "And I JUST turned up." He then turns to Richard and while still annoyed, he respectfully says, "It has been a while since you two arrived to see whoever's out though,"
"Indeed," The Boring Guy begins, "I'm assuming there was no elimination, but I thought we should stay to make sure we don't miss anything."
"Understandable," The Rich Kid replies.
"No it's NOT understandable," Tegan yells, "Let me just LIVE!" She screams dramatically into the sky.
Right after this, her phone gets a call, and she answers with a smile, "Hiiiiiiiii, Tegan here!" Her face falls. "It's for you," she says to Richard, handing him her phone, "You better not break it,"
"Mhm," Richard replies before grabbing the phone. "Yes… I understand… Good… Thank you,"
"Well?" Alfred asks,
"No elimination, we can go back now," Richard replies before Tegan quickly grabs her phone back.
"Good! I'm outta here," she then runs away at top speed.
"You are coming back here next elimination," Richard adds on.
"Sure," Tegan shrugs, turning back around for a moment. "But I don't have to wait anymore so I'm gonna have fun!" She then continues to speed away.
Richard then turns to the camera and says, "So I guess you can see who goes next time for real on Total Drama Elemental Islands."
"Well that was utterly useless," Alfred turns to the Boring Guy and says, "What's even the point of doing this when nobody goes home?"
"Not sure," Richard admits, "But I don't care either way," before both walk away and the bonus clip finishes.
Electric Tigers: Carol, Jake, Lauren, Myron, Nadia, Rory, Susan
Frozen Lions: Bob, Gary, Jemma, Katrina, Xavier
Well… I think I have some explaining to do…
Yes… There is no elimination today, honestly even writing this chapter initially, someone was going home, but as I kept writing, I realised that I needed them around a bit more and none of the other boots coming up would work this episode, so that left me with one choice…
A Team Swap! Yeah, I had an idea for a team swap for a bit, but eventually, I realised that wouldn't properly work with all the interactions already built up in the teams we currently had, and wouldn't work with the plot itself anyways so I just made it a non-elimination instead.
Even now, I'm not overly sure if a non-elimination was the right choice in the end. I can understand waiting months for me to just go "Sike! Nobody leaves!" After I just said the last episode that I liked everyone left can sound a bit… Bad, but trust me on this one, I think I have a good idea of what to do next.
We're still at 12 contestants, and only one can win it all (discounting potential alternate endings and all that). If you want, tell me in the reviews who you think the next boot is, and who you think has a good chance of winning it all!
Again, tell me which method you prefer with episodes, one part with everything or split into two. I'll say now, even I thought this chapter is too long, I'm not going to make my chapters this long anymore. 15K at most, then I start finishing up, adding a thousand or two if needed but not the 21K it was this time.
For real this time, I need to shut up and let you do more things with your life lol. Reviews are appreciated but only leave them if you want to, don't feel forced to do it. If I go "ZOMG post a review!111!1!" then that's mainly just me joking around. If you do leave a review and didn't mention it in part 1 then just let me know if you like the multi-part chapter system or if you want it back to how it was before.
